Kroger, fresh for everyone. Hello, hello, and welcome to another episode of Telling Everybody Everything. Tuesday, the 20th of May. It's a terrible day because I've had to cancel a dinner hosted by someone.

whom I hugely admire and I really love and I'm not going to say who just in case it's like a secret launch for something that she's doing. She's always doing things, launches and projects and this and that and books and series and she's the greatest and I felt so touched to have been invited but our flight from Canada to London was delayed with two small children and

And I just walked in the door and I would have to be glammed and out the door for this dinner in three hours. And I haven't slept and I just knew it wasn't going to happen. And I feel so bad canceling. I initially said no. I was invited. And my agent said, you'll be flying in early morning from this. And I said, oh, I can't do that. I just don't have what it takes. And I'm on tour as well. We weren't on holiday in Canada.

i'll tell you more about that later but i just thought no i can't do that and then i saw one of her associates at a thing and face to face this young woman was like oh i wish you could come to the thing and you know when you do that like it's not that she pressured me to come she just mentioned it again and i thought about how marvelous it would be and i was like yes i'll go oh who knew now i'm using the correct audio input that's the magic of telling everybody everything you never know what's going to happen

What microphone will she be using today? Where will she be recording the podcast? Will she have a guest? Will she not do it at all? And then miss two weeks and launch season five as though she missed the two weeks on purpose. I, uh, anyway, I'm sad to miss the dinner and you should kind of follow your first instinct because now I'm that guy. Like there's probably a place sitting for me and everything else. So when was it? One week ago, exactly. Exactly.

We flew to Canada with the small children, not with Violet, to film the finale, the live finale episode of Canada's Got Talent, crowning the winner, Jacob Lewis, who I think I kind of had a gut feeling would take the crown all along. He is such a great singer, has such like a rock and roll vibe.

rich voice that I know a lot of my friends would have loved listening to growing up in Canada. And this is no disrespect, like during the Nickelback era, but not just the Nickelback era. They were listening to a lot of

Pearl Jam and REM and Blind Melon and they love Guns N' Roses and he sang a Guns N' Roses song. He's just so talented and then when you heard his story, sweet mother of Christ, he's from Newfoundland, which like there's nothing more adorable than being from Newfoundland and

He seems very, and I say seems because I just, you know what I mean. Men, you don't know. If you don't know them and you are not their specific wife, you really don't know what they're like. But I would be 99.9% sure that he really is the loving family man that we met on the show. He's got these cute twin boys who we got to meet at the finale when their dad was crowned.

And he spoke about their journey. They were born quite premature and spent some time in the NICU. And my God, just a lovely man. And all of the finalists were very deserving.

They really pulled it out the bag for the final. It was a really difficult final. They received more votes for this final of Canada's Got Talent than any final before. So everyone who made it to the final, of course, will have a great boost to their career and should be really proud of themselves. And I just, I loved watching the finale. And there was very little for me to do because...

This finale is not snarky. Like you can't tell any jokes really at the finale. My golden buzzer, which was the act that I pushed to go through and would have gone through with or without me, but he gets a little cash bonus from our friends at CIBC, was Darren Leo. And he's a comedian that I think you should follow. It's so weird in Canada. And I was hopeful about the fact that maybe it had changed the

But speaking to Darren, like, I just didn't even know what advice to give him. He did so well in the final. He had a great set, really edgy set, which is difficult to pull off on a family show. If you want to follow him on Instagram, it is Darren Leo underscore, as presumably there was a pre-existing Darren Leo. And I said, oh, how's it going since the episodes have been airing? Because he's just been so funny every week, even though they do edit episodes.

for a family show. So who knows what actually went out? Of course, I couldn't see the episodes when they went out because I was in the UK, but filming them, he had a great reaction from the crowd. Standing Ovations is really, really funny, really unique and very new for being so great and very nice, like really pounds the pavement for being like, let's write together. You know, I see other comedians talking about him and it's all positive.

And comedians don't always speak positively about each other because like, you know, we're mean, but we do it with love. Like if a comedian in the UK, for example, was getting success on a television show, people would be really happy if they liked that comedian, but they wouldn't be happy if they didn't like the comedian. So what I'm saying is I can tell people really like Darren Leo.

But he was like, oh, yeah, what do you think? When do you think I should get an agent? What do you think my next step should be? And I was like, I can't even speculate on that in Canada. I don't know what the good clubs are. I don't know how the circuit works. You can get an agent in comedy at any time, as far as I know. Like when I was starting out, I had an agent before Violet was born. I signed with my agency at the time.

After they saw me in a new act competition, and in fairness, I was a young, strikingly gorgeous Canadian. There were a lot of things about me that stood out. I was doing very well. There was some buzz around me, some heat. They sort of just knew who had buzz in the ether around

And they would put out an offer to represent you. And as soon as they started representing you, you would have your name in the hat for things like get out of 10 cats, have I got news for you, mock the week. And you might not be ready yet, but you still had an agent while you were preparing to do those things. And your agent would push you to do the Edinburgh Fringe, you know, stuff like that.

And I don't know if that's the way anymore. I don't know if you have to be discovered on TikTok. You have to be a real self-starter to get noticed now. And Darren is doing all of that. I mean, he's going to make it in his own way, but I'm like, I don't know. Like comedians in my day were not even positive. We were not like, what shall I do next? We were like, oh, I didn't kill myself today. Can I get on a gig tonight? Like it was very low key, self-deprecating stuff.

I don't know. I mean, it was a lot of fun, but the industry has changed. So unfortunately, Darren said that even after appearing on all these episodes of Canada's Got Talent, he got like 100 Instagram followers. 100. I thought he meant 100,000. I went, oh, that's pretty good. No, 100 Canada. So what app are you guys on? Maybe television. This is what I've heard about television. I don't know the demographics or any of the viewing figures.

but it's older people and young kids. Like kids love those talent shows. They love the dancing and they just love to vote along at home, but maybe they just don't have Instagram yet. So I don't know. If you like comedy and if you like Taiwanese people who are now Canadian and there is a lot of advocacy for women's health research in Darren's comedy, just follow DarrenLeo underscore on Instagram.

I had a blast doing that. It was so much fun. We did have some dramas with the dress that I borrowed, but it was fine. I chose a beautiful pink capelet, very embellished with jewels, sheer, like just stunning Jenny Packham dress.

We were very fortunate that Jenny Packham let us borrow the dress for the duration of Canada's Got Talent because I was away for a whole week. Normally, when you borrow from a designer, you get it for like a night or two because they don't want the dress to be occupied if somebody else wants it, but they were very generous in extending that. And Canada's Got Talent is brought to you by Rogers, which is their platform for mobile reception and television and all sorts of different things. It's a little bit like Canadian Sky, but

if I can make that comparison, but it's ubiquitous. Rogers has many channels. Rogers has a road. There's a big Rogers building. The Rogers Center is where people play baseball. I panicked because I wasn't sure which one. It used to be called the Sky Dome. Everything's Rogers in Toronto. And Rogers is a real family. So there's a gentleman called Ted Rogers who sadly passed in the lake.

I don't know, early 2000s, I believe. And his son has inherited that legacy. And his son has a beautiful wife. And it's so Canadian. Like they are worth billions of dollars with a B. But they met at Western University where Joanne went to school and where so many of my friends went just an hour outside of Sarnia. His lovely wife is from Sarnia.

either Lambton County or St. Thomas, not far from Sarnia at all, but she obviously doesn't look like she's from Sarnia. She looks like a blonde Kim Kardashian. Like she's very glamorous, very beautiful. Um,

and a very important person to have on the show. Like she is a philanthropist. She's like, you know, Canada would be wowed to see Suzanne Rogers at this final. Suzanne Rogers turns up and I look, I'm like, she looks like a princess, number one, stunning. And then I realized she and I are wearing almost the exact same dress.

And that doesn't happen on television. Like there will be a style and wardrobe team who will put all the colors against each other. That's for every show that we do. And if you're dressed similarly, like not even, I'm talking, this was the same dress. There were some little changes, but it was the same designer. It was Jenny Packham. It was the same style. She had a capelet. Her dress was embellished. Like it was basically a woman would be able to tell the difference, subtle difference. A man would not like it was the same dress basically.

She looked better in it, of course, which didn't bother me because, you know what I mean? I've been upstaged at prom before. But in the UK, what they would do then is they'd take the least, the less famous woman, i.e. me, and they would go, you can't wear that dress because the more famous woman wants to wear it. Great. Or even if it was the same color in the UK, they would remove it. They go, you can't both have pink on.

But I don't think, I think it was a surprise. So no one saw the dresses beforehand. So in walks like a princess. And I just looked like a cheap drag impersonator who'd been hired for her birthday party. You know, it was a moment for me, a humbling moment.

But it was great to meet her. She was actually so nice and spoke to me all about melanoma. Like she knows what's going on with everyone. She is a big supporter of Canadian fashion. She's made huge donations to the university I once went to that the name was changed because of slavery, I think.

And that was great. And congratulations to all the finalists. And of course, Jacob Lewis, the winner, and Darren Leo, my golden buzzer. And if you want to check out clips of it, because you won't get to see it in the UK, if you're listening from the UK, the Canada's Got Talent Instagram account, they're really good at posting loads of things. So you can basically see all the performances on there from all the episodes.

Join now at AskTia.com. That's AskTia.com to join today. We decided to bring the children, the small children, but not Violet because Violet is, of course, if you have a teenager in the UK, you will know this, writing her GCSEs.

Canadians were baffled by the concept of GCSEs. I swear, every single family member that I met, every single one of Bobby's family members along the way, they were just like, "What is going on? Why is Violet posting on TikTok that she is graduating?" And I had to explain to them, "Well, in the UK, you only have to go to school school until you're 16 years old. And that end of year, you will write these important exams that are like SATs, I guess we would call them in America.

even though I didn't go to school in America, but we did watch 90210. We're familiar with their lingo. And based on the results of those, you will choose which stream to continue forward in. So you will A, be just finished school forever and you will go into a trade or an apprenticeship or you will B, take your GCSE marks and go to college, which is not college like we say college university in North America. College is like a year away

after school or you will take those GCSE marks and you will do your A levels, which is the year

of education before university and you will use I think a combo of your A-level grades and GCSE grades to apply to university. So A-levels I think is slightly more academic or geared more toward going to university, college is kind of in between and then obviously if you don't continue with your higher education then you're done, you're done school. Like Violet would be done school at 15 if she didn't carry on because she doesn't even turn 16 until the summer.

And they were just baffled by that, but they should be. Like in Canada, Violet would be in grade 10 for her age. And we went to high school until we were 19 years old. It just does feel very young to be going off to university or to go into the workforce for what? These kids are going to live forever with all the biohacking and nutritional developments. They're going to be in the workforce until they're 120 years old. So good luck. But Violet could not miss GCSEs.

They are nationwide. So if you have a chemistry GCSE, every kid taking chemistry in the country will have had it on the same day. So you can't not go to school that day and write it the next day. All of the answers will have leaked online by then. That's how they regulate it. And I think if you pass out...

then you can't even reset the exam till the following year and it'll be a different exam like that's how strict they are so obviously we're not going to take violet out of school and bring her to canada for a week during gcses and it's probably better for her that we weren't here

Because Miriam, our wonderful nanny, stayed with Violet overnight and everything the whole week. Miriam is so great. Miriam was like cooking her all these delicious meals and painting her toenails. It was a great time of rest and focus for Violet without a full house. And there were some comments on her TikTok from one lady in particular who was like disgusting. Like Violet wrote, oh, my mom's in Canada living it up with Shania Twain, which I did because we're best friends.

And the woman on TikTok was like, I would never leave the country while my child had GCSEs. And I said to myself and to her publicly, I posted, oh, so what? Like you take the month off work, you call in sick for a month while your child has GCSEs because that's how long it takes. And this is my job. I did not go on a jolly. Far from it. I love my job, but this was not a holiday, especially underlined by the fact that I brought Fena and Fred.

So for some reason, and I don't, you know, we just didn't, our management did not book tickets for ages. We kept going back and forth being like, what are we doing? Are we doing press? When are the flights? What's happening? And Annie, my tour manager has taught me to be a little A type about that. I started worrying like, okay, what's going on?

If we wait till the end to book these tickets, there's going to be less availability. We might not be sat together. Well, that's exactly what happened. First, there was nothing in premium economy for the time that we wanted, but that was fine. We went a bit later. I was sat with Fena and Bobby was sat with Fred. Fine. We're not all together, but cool. We did think about upgrading to business, but now that I have such a big family, I'm

It's not, you know, the glory days of Violet and me flying business or indeed first class to Las Vegas and having all this fun. Like we can't travel in one car almost. We can't sleep in one hotel room almost. I have a big family. I'm not putting us all in business class, especially how ridiculous will it look to have a two-year-old and a three-year-old in their own little lay down beds and business class pods. Like I just thought, no, we can't do that. And it was a daytime flight.

So I thought, you know, you're flying into the past when you go in the direction of Canada. So I thought it's fine. They'll have little naps. I got these seat extenders. Maybe you might have seen them on Amazon. It's like a little hammock. They have blow up ones, but I do recommend the hammock. The blow up one just looked like the airline might tell you you can't use it. But the hammock is cool. So you tuck it at the back of their seat, like where the seatbelt goes. And then there's a little loop that goes over their tray table and you can

you know, fold up the tray table the way it has to be for takeoff, but the little loop is stuck in there and it creates a leg extender, like all this extra leg room for a small child. It's a small child's not heavy enough to pull it down and then they can lay flat even in an economy seat. I thought this was genius when I found it and I really recommend it. I've seen other families using it if you travel economy. I got two of these thangs off Amazon. We get on the premium economy flight and we realize, oh, premium economy does not have

tray tables the same way that other flights do so we couldn't even use them and the kids were pretty brutal on the way over there pretty brutal and on the way back was an overnight flight and I thought I'll upgrade to business I will and you can do this thing where you place a bid like if you buy a business class ticket outright honestly round trip to Canada was like $17,000 and

and Canada's Got Talent were not prepared to pay for my entire family to go business, fine, understood. Though now that I have a budding friendship with my twin, Suzanne Rogers, we'll see next time. But fine, I'll be on the PJ. I thought, I'm gonna upgrade. I bid for an upgrade. My friend who was not traveling with children bid for an upgrade. I bid for four upgrades.

And my bid was like 4,000 Canadian dollars, which at the minute is 2,000 UK British pounds. And I thought that's reasonable. Like it's a lot, but I just didn't want to miss this dinner. I didn't want to stay awake all night.

And my friend bid less and she got the upgrade and we didn't, even though I looked at the seating map and there were plenty of seats. But I think it was a struggle to seat us together. And maybe they prioritize adults in business class over kids, which I know some people will be really happy to hear. There are people who firmly believe there should not be children in business class at all. But like children run businesses now. You know what I mean? They're being exploited on their parents' social medias, like whatever.

I don't know. If you have wealthy parents, like that's the game. Like, sorry, Diane, that you had to grow into an adult and bust your ass and be self-made before you could afford a business class ticket. But it's not Fred's fault that he was born into privilege. I owe it to Fred to raise him to be the asshole that God intended him to be. He is beautiful and he's blonde, which is only appropriate for like four more years.

I have seen Kris Jenner's facelift. Of course I have. Of course I've seen it. I have received so many messages this week. What do you think about Kris Jenner? Have you seen Kris Jenner's facelift? Who do you think did Kris Jenner's facelift? And I do think it is, I do think it's Steven Levine in Manhattan. I do. And what's tricky about these like high end

facial plastic surgeons is that of course they can't disclose their clients. Although it would help me a lot if Kris Jenner, who we know is on her like fifth facelift now, fifth very excellent facelift, she has been very transparent about it all. She has had at least one of the facelifts on the show.

So, I mean, don't gatekeep now, baby. Who was it? But it is speculated that it's this guy called Ben something. I think he's friends. See, this is the issue with the Kardashians is they go, oh, well, they're friends with Simon Orian. They're friends with Dr. Jason Diamond. They know all of these surgeons. They're friends with that other one. Was it Dr. Oh, I mean, they feature surgeons on the show that I don't think

they are using. I think these are red herrings. I think they are smoke screens. They'll go to Dr. Orian and get some lasering, but then that's not the man with the knife. So I think Steven Levine is the best that I've seen. I could be wrong. I mean, there are other great ones. A lot of people talk about Dr. Giacono in New York. A lot of people talk about Dr. Karam in LA, who's really active on socials.

But I worry about the ones who are really active on socials. I think it's like if you're doing hundreds of facelifts every year, why do you have time to also be like chatting to me on socials or to like flying to Brazil to do a class? I don't know. To teach? No. I don't think these guys are teaching anybody in Colombia. I think she looks great. I think Kris Jenner has always looked great. She's nearly 70.

And I also believe a fresh facelift, like you get a just a sweet spot of when it's settled. I think it looks good at that point. And I think that's the point she's at. It just looks fab, even though I can't confirm, like, I don't know for sure. But I mean, look at her. She looks great. She looks great. When is the last time we've seen Kris Jenner publicly?

Okay, her Instagram has sort of been active all along. You would think she had this facelift in maybe February 2025 or January, like just after Christmas would have been a really good time because on Getty Images anyway, we haven't seen paparazzi event photos of her since November 2024. And then now she's popping up in Paris, New York,

And that's where we're seeing this debut of the like snatched jawline. But she was on Instagram, really active over Easter, really active on Instagram all throughout April. But I mean, a lot of these are throwbacks. And don't forget, if you've got scars that you would like to hide on Instagram, it's very easy to do that with photo editing. But like live and in the flesh,

She started, she debuted the new hairdo, this little bob in April. And I think the bob looks great. And that's what they do. She'll have like, oh, it's my new hairstyle that's making me look incredible. The bob happened at some point in April. April 12th on Instagram and 15th, she didn't have the bob. April 17th, she had the bob. So I mean, we're playing fast and loose with dates here. Who knows? Who cares? She looks great. So many more people than you think are having facelifts.

I have heard of like bargain basement work in Istanbul and in Belgium. That does look really good. It's not impossible to get good cosmetic surgery in a foreign country. Of course, it's not. All the guys that I recommend, apart from like one or two, are in foreign countries there in America. But I just think it's more of a risk when you go abroad. That's all. You could get a good...

You could have even a personal recommendation of somebody who looks great. But when you go to this guy, this guy, this magician who's doing the Lohans and the Aguileras and the Demi Moors and the allegedly Anne Hathaways and all of the ones that the work is so subtle you don't even mention it. You don't notice it, i.e. the men, the Brads, the Bradleys.

I think that's happening in New York or LA, but what do I know? I'll let you know when I have my facelift and it's not gonna be for another five years. Unfortunately, maybe three years. I'll try to push it to three years, but I really think five because my skin quality is so good. It's just my neck. After gaining about 1,000 pounds in my pregnancy with Fred, my neck just never recovered from that.

While in Canada, I did five shows. Thank you so much. If you came to any of those shows, I really appreciate it. I...

I was a bit frustrated to be walking around Montreal, for example, and be like recognized because there was a time when I wasn't recognized in Canada at all. My entire career was in the UK. Now that people have access to streaming and they're watching British comedy or they've seen my Netflix specials or The Duchess, whatever, some people do know me and I know international comedians too. We have such a greater access to international comedy. So that's great.

People would recognize me like, oh my gosh, Catherine Ryan, what are you doing in Montreal? And I'd be like, well, I have a show tonight. Are you coming? No. It is hard. Like if you are a comedian in Canada and you're starting out, how are you going to get people to come see your shows? When I'm a comedian who's like established enough to have management and tour promoters and all of these different platforms to advertise tickets and people still don't know I'm in town.

So like the real ones did know. And by the real ones, I mean the Marial audience was like 90% gay. And I loved that. And it was so much fun. And you know, the tour promoters were wonderful. They did try to advertise through my Facebook, but I've been locked out of that for years. So that was not possible. But where are Canadians getting their information from? You're not following Darren Leo on Instagram. I think Facebook, I mean, as far as I know,

seems to be the like main Canadian communication system. I don't know. Are you on those running apps? I don't know how to advertise to you people. Also, I was on the live final of Canada's Got Talent and Howie very kindly was like, Catherine is on tour in the UK this week. She has two Ottawa shows, a Montreal show, two Toronto shows. And in fairness, the late shows did sell out. And by late shows, I mean, they started at 7pm, which was great.

but as soon as they sold out, we did add matinees and the promoter did warn me. He's like, I don't know about a 4 p.m. show, Catherine, but I was not exactly going to add a 10 p.m. show, was I? I don't want to know who's going to a 10 p.m. show, but those are not my people.

4 p.m., I made sure to tell the audience how much more respect I had for them than I did for the 7 p.m. audience, even though a 4 p.m. show is gentle. You know, the vibe was very different. Some of my friends and family came to the 4 p.m. Toronto show because they hadn't bothered to get tickets and that's all that was left. And I was a little bit like, oh, well, sorry you didn't go to the more hype show.

You know, you want to do well in front of people that you know. And I loved the afternoon shows. I really did love them. But if you're not someone who goes to comedy, like my friends from Sarnia even drove all the way to Toronto, which is, I mean, they do go with their children to travel hockey a lot of the time, but it's not often that they leave the city or the town to go to a city. So it was a big gesture. Like, I really appreciated them being there and it was really nice to see them. But I was like, oh, I hope you got the best show. But it was so much fun.

So much fun to be in Canada, but a lot of work. And we still had the kids and we still had all the visiting. And Bobby and I threw this big party and I made a paperless post invitation for everybody. And I think we invited about 50 people and we called it a private audience with BK because that's all people want really. I think the friends and family have gotten used to the fact that they will barely see me. I'm either filming or touring and

or doing shows and then I can say like a quick hello. I don't drink very much. I'm not like up very late. I'm not very, I haven't been fun in like five years, but Bobby is still fun and people wanted to see him, but we are never doing that again. We are never hosting another party again. And I'm amazed that it took us five years to realize how stupid we've been because we did a huge 40th for Bobby. We usually put together some type of

you know, venue and we have food and we have open bar. It's just nice for everybody to be able to congregate in one place. We felt like it was the most efficient way to visit, but we learned on this occasion, it isn't because you, you're like the bride all the time and everybody wants a piece of you, which is fine. Like I'm not complaining. Nobody wants a piece of me, but everybody wants to talk to Bobby mainly, um,

And it's difficult to spread your time out evenly, especially when some people are drunk, some people are crying, some people are rubbing his back. Like he wants to see everyone, but it's such an intense sort of bubbling energy that it's much better to have like a real casual sit down with like three people at a time.

It's just almost impossible when we're there for a few days only. And with the children, it kind of has had to be all at once. But what a nightmare. Like I look at Bobby, I'm like, you really are the bride.

And bless his family. His immediate family have had a very complex year. His sisters love him so much. They're such an affectionate family. And Fennah and Fred are exactly the same. Like they embrace each other. The nursery is always saying to us like, oh my God, they're so cute. They just like embrace. And they'll be like two best friends. And Fred will grab Fennah's face and just be like, oh, I love you, honey baby sweetie. Like they're very affectionate. And I say to Bobby all the time, like, you know,

We are very affectionate. Maybe the other kids who have siblings at school, they're fighting and they're not kissing. Maybe their parents are fighting and they're not kissing. Like Fred and Fennah behave like they're married, although like newlyweds. And that's how Bobby and I are. Like every time I see Bobby in the kitchen, we like are in love. So maybe that's where they get it from. But the Kudstras are affectionate. And I mean, when they're drinking, they're

They are even more affectionate and I can't blame them because obviously they love their brother and I have stolen him away to the UK though. It wasn't my fault. Like he came very willingly. Just have to hold my hands up and let you know. And he can go back anytime he wants. But yeah, they, wow. Yeah. Like, I mean, there is kissing on the mouth. Let me put it to you like this. Bobby loves his family. Bobby's family love Bobby. That's great. But during my first show,

Uh, I received a text. I do this dilemma section where people send me text messages about their lives and I put those on the screen and then we discuss it. It's my favorite part of the show because it's different every night. And I am genuinely open and curious about people. I try not to be judgmental. Like there are so many exciting problems that come and I just love it. But I did receive a text from someone that was like, Oh girl, I saw your man at dinner with these babes.

and attached a photo of Bobby at the private audience with BK, which obviously was semi-private because it was a bigger bar with other people in it. But someone had spotted him, recognized him, and taken a photo where he's being lovingly flanked by all of his sisters, and he looks like fucking Aladdin.

When the girls are like, Prince Ali, fabulous he, Ali, Baba, Baba, Baba, Baba, Baba, Baba, and they're like fawning all over him. That is what the photo looked like. And I put it on the projector. And as soon as I did, there was a gasp, a collective like outrage from the audience because it really looks like Bobby is like the Tinder swindler having all these babes around him like, oh my God.

And I said, yeah, this looks really bad. Thank you for sending it to me. Like anytime any of you see my husband out in the wild with women or indeed like handsome men, for sure send me a photo. I love that. But these are his sisters. And everyone was like, yeah. So like to the naked eye, it does look quite spicy. But look, we're going to have to find a different way because I just think it's too intense for everyone that they're like, okay, we get to see Bobby once.

for, I mean, it wasn't a short, it was like six hours long, this private audience with BK, but like people travel, people are emotional, people are drinking. Then all his university friends come to my high school friends came some of Bobby's high school friends. Like it, it is really fun, but it just doesn't make sense to like pack all of the visiting into one like drunk event. I just don't know. Actually, I do know Canada. If you can figure out how to promote your shows, uh,

without the use of Instagram, then I would love to do a longer tour out there and take the children and actually settle and let Bobby see like different groups of friends, like casually. And he did. He went golfing with his boyfriends on the Monday before we flew. But again, like he had to get on an overnight flight that evening. So it's just so mad.

And I hope our friends and family understand. We love them, but it's so fucking crazy to travel with these small kids. And once you're in Canada, you're not done. If we land at the airport, we have to drive three hours to Sarnia, which we didn't even go to Sarnia. We have to fly to Marial or drive five hours to Ottawa. We drove from the Canada's Got Talent final five hours to Ottawa. Then after the show, two more hours to Marial. Then we flew home from Marial. It was nuts.

And we didn't bring the babies to Ottawa and Montreal. We left them with my mother and my sister Joanne was visiting and Carrie was working. So I don't think they saw her. Abe the babe, of course, was in attendance and they had a great time. But it's tough for my mom because my mom, again, doesn't just get to see them casually. It's like, oh, grandmother's here and mommy's leaving. And Fena absolutely is obsessed with me at the minute. So she didn't eat for like two days.

and I got home and made her this like chicken pesto pasta which she devoured like an animal. Okay, we'll be back, I don't know when. Hopefully not soon.

Violet has gone viral again talking about her delight that the British government gave Chris Brown a visa just to throw him in jail. The R&B bad boy was not able to run it, run it from the bobbies as he was arrested at the five-star Lowry Hotel in Salford for an alleged assault at Tape Nightclub in London and subsequent lawsuit by producer Abe Dior.

Dating back to November 2023. Prosecutor Hannah Nichols claimed in court that the alleged attack was captured on CCTV and carried out in a club, quote, full of people, and that Brown struck producer Abe with a bottle several times before chasing him through the nightclub and then allegedly punching and kicking him. In the lawsuit, the producer accused Brown of, quote, beating him and said he suffered crushing blows to the head, which left him unconscious.

Brown reportedly used a bottle of Don Julio 1942 hashtag spawn tequila for the alleged attack.

and allegedly continued to ruthlessly stomp on him for 30 seconds. The producer, quote, ended up in the hospital with lacerations on his head, torn ligaments in his leg, and was left with permanent damage and severe emotional distress, as per this lawsuit. District Judge Joanne Hurst deemed the charges of grievous bodily harm are too serious to be heard in the magistrate's court and moved the case to a crown court.

So that means he has a date set June 13th in London and he has to remain in custody until that date. He was denied bail by the judge who was presented with evidence that Chris Brown is obviously a flight risk. He's currently set to embark on his Breezy Bowl XX tour in celebration of 20 years of his incredible career if he ever makes out of a Mancunian jail cell.

Meanwhile, his ex Rihanna is thriving, voicing Smurfette in the new Smurfs movie and releasing a corresponding banger called Friend of Mine. And she's also expecting another baby. And this is, I think, where the confusion has happened online. Not that I really understand what the fucking difference is, but there are so many young people who...

I guess, weren't around for the very publicized assault of Rihanna where the photos of her face were leaked and she was like extremely badly hurt. The story came out, you know, like women are assaulted all the time, unfortunately. But it's amazing that when you even have evidence, like photo evidence, and it's a very, very high status woman who,

the world just forgives the world goes oh yeah but you know he dances really well and like people make mistakes and he had a difficult childhood right but this is a violent allegedly violent man who has never stopped getting in fights he also allegedly abru abused other girlfriends he's like publicly violent all the time like this is a problematic person who has issues

And the young people think that this arrest is about Rihanna. They're like, oh, come on. It was a long time ago. No, no, no. This was 2023 in the UK. We shouldn't have granted him access in the first place, knowing that he's a dangerous person. And what happens when you keep forgiving people like that, keep giving them another chance? Well, there's going to be another attack.

He's, as far as I'm concerned, a violent criminal. And I don't know what it's going to take to rehabilitate him, but it's certainly not helped by hordes and hordes of fans continuing to buy tickets to see his shows. And I saw someone posted online, like, these are the same women who

And it is women. Men love Chris Brown, but women love Chris Brown. A lot of the ticket holders are women who will not get their money back because arrest is not covered by Ticketmaster's refund policies, LOL. All these women are like, I love Chris Brown. I love him. And they're the same women who think they can change their man. There is so much misogyny and toxicity still in these young cultures that

So Violet went on TikTok and celebrated the fact that Chris Brown's in jail and you wouldn't believe the comments. It got like two million something views and there are women who were like, her closet is full of Chris Brown posters, y'all. Free Chris Breezy, they'll never understand. Girl, do you need that? Because I'll give it to you. Hashtag team Breezy. Hashtag free my Shayla. All the Karens hate him. Bunch of miserable losers.

the Karens hate him. What does that even mean? And a lot, you know what, a lot of this is black women on my daughter's page. Like my daughter is a, what, a Karen. Why? Because she's white and not a fan of physical assault. Like this is, this is actually really scary. And someone, yeah, like a little gay boy has put this comment section is embarrassing. Yes.

Someone else put, this happened how long ago? People actually go through counseling therapy and change. People have second chances. You know this, right? And Violet, Violet's a spicy little one. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. She goes, okay. So using all that therapy and counseling in question, he did the same thing to many other women. And then someone put, y'all hate us black men so much. And guess what? We don't care. Free Chris and free Tori.

Chris Brown and Tory. I think he's talking about Tory, who I thought was Tony Lanez, who fucking shot Meg Thee Stallion, was it? What the hell? This is so scary. Like, read this comment section at your peril. This is very, very sad. Bro, I'm so annoyed. Free my man right now. I will tell you where this comes from, actually. So I think and I know I'm a Karen and I know I'm white and it's not my place to be in, quote, black business, as per the comments on my daughter's page.

But historically, there has been a systemic pillaging of the black community through like the hashtag war on drugs or whatever you want to call it. There were concerted efforts to enter black communities and remove the father. And that would destabilize the family and obviously cause so many problems. And this was often for like weed or something that's like totally allowed in every white Pilates studio now. There are mothers...

in like Colorado who've invested millions in like cannabis farms and that's all fine now but we haven't really gone back and looked at oh people lost their lives because of this and that or they'd find you know stupid reasons to arrest black men like of course we know this has happened

Also, there are white women historically who have claimed assault by a black man or sexual assault by a black man just because they felt badly, like had remorse for fancying a black man or they felt rejected. Like there are all these very visceral reasons why these communities continue to have like problems. And I think this really hits a nerve with the pillaging of black communities. All these black women are,

In my daughter's comments, being like, leave him alone, leave him alone. Black women, in many ways, were conditioned to protect their men at all costs. So that meant if they were abused by a partner or abandoned by a partner or their partner was dangerous in some other way, they would just protect him because who else was protecting him? They would see their blackness as

as being more important than being a woman who was in a vulnerable position. They were so used to these white authority figures coming in and doing evil things that they would just protect their black men at all costs. And like, this is a hangover from that. Just like, leave him alone. Leave him alone. Stay out of black business. And it's like, well, I think some of these divides are starting to come down. It's everyone's business. Like an abuser is everyone's business. This is not my white daughter trying to get in black business.

She's seeing what she sees online. She knows that this guy's a dangerous person. And like the man going, oh, black men, you don't, you hate black men. No, nobody hates black men. I think this is a case of protecting black women. And in the case of this most recent assault, also black men.

And finally, in other black business, I'm sure you are all following the testimony in the Diddy trial where Cassie has taken the stand and I'm finding it difficult to separate fact from fiction on TikTok. I've seen a lot of fake videos about what has been said and it is all very disturbing. It's very difficult to separate fact

what has been actual testimony to what is like pranks on TikTok. But trigger warning, y'all. The second week of Sean Diddycombe's sex trafficking trial came to a close with his ex-girlfriend and star witness...

RMB starlet Cassie, full name Cassie Ventura, wrapping up a grueling four days of testimony and cross-examination. Prosecutors got the Me & You singer to establish a pattern of alleged abuse. She fell in love with him when she was 19, but was unprepared for his lifestyle and sexual demands. She first agreed to participate in freak-offs, and this is the days-long sex sessions with male escorts,

during which she took a huge volume of drugs to stay awake and to disassociate. And she did all of this, according to her, to please the very much more powerful Bad Boy Records executive, Diddy, who was also her boss, by the way. Like, she was a client or like a signee of Bad Boy. Eventually,

She testified she did it because he leveraged the video footage of these orgies as blackmail and he beat her according to her testimony if she failed to do what he told her. The bulk of Cassie's testimony went into vivid detail about the freak-offs as well as about the 2016 incident at a Los Angeles hotel in which security cameras captured Combs brutally assaulting her. And I think a lot of us saw this when it was released.

The defense, meanwhile, focused much of its cross-examination on a mountain of text messages fired back and forth between the couple for over 10 years. Their broader goal seems to be establishing that Cassie consented to the sexual situations Combs orchestrated, and she even set them up herself. Combs' defense revolved around the fact that he was a drug addict, suggesting his explosive moments were fueled by either substances or jealousy. Like, that is a defense.

Legal eagles are suggesting that this line of defense is trying to move away from the idea that Combs' alleged abuse helped prop up what prosecutors are calling his criminal enterprise. Painting it instead is the result of a drug problem and toxic relationship patterns, which goes to show damning the charges are against him, goes to show how damning they are.

When your defense is basically, quote, he didn't commit first degree manslaughter on 10 people, just second degree on one kind of thing. This might be why the lawyer who literally represented Osama bin Laden has quit Diddy's team. Said Diddy's current defense rep.

Combs is a complicated man, but this is not a complicated case. He has a bad temper and sometimes he's so angry and jealous that he gets out of control. While she, and yes, this lawyer is a she, acknowledged that Combs was responsible for domestic violence, she stressed that his transgressions did not amount to sex trafficking nor to racketeering.

The lawyer claimed Ventura left Combs of her own volition, that she was jealous, that she, like other, quote, capable, strong adult women involved in the case, was a willing participant in their sexual dynamic. Every day for over a decade, Ventura made a choice to stay, the lawyer said. The reason she and the other alleged victims have now changed their tune is simple. Money. Christ almighty. Like, we...

I love that Bobby's fucking gardeners are here. I could truly love that. I could do a separate podcast about how I feel that my work is not valued in this family, but you know what I mean? I just keep on and carry on and I, yeah, simmer with autoimmune disease. Welcome guys. At least the grass looks good. Do you know what I mean? Fine. Cassie included so many details. She said the freak offs would last four days.

She recounted Diddy and a male escort urinating on her to the point that she nearly choked. The prosecution had such an extensive recount on the amount of baby oil used that at one point the judge had to tell them to wrap it up. They are focusing really hard on the baby oil. All of this happened with Cassie's current husband seated on one side and six of Diddy's children sat on the other side.

Like you would rather have the aesthetic of your children supporting you in these cases than leave them home so that they maybe don't have to hear about you urinating into a 19 year old's mouth. This is what kills me about the prosecution describing women as like strong. You know, they're like weaponizing our modern idea of feminism going, these were strong, capable, willing participants, strong,

You're talking about a teenager who got into a coercive and controlling relationship, allegedly, with an adult father mogul record label executive while she was trying to build a career. It can be intoxicating at first, and maybe you think, oh, I'm special. Like, he loves me. Like, look what happened to Aaliyah.

And then it just gets out of control. And of course she would be willing in these text messages. There was a Canadian case with a singer from a band called Moxie Frubis, who I think went on to be a radio host or something. And I remember at the time,

He was found guilty of being abusive toward women, but in the testimony, they really humiliated these women. They would take out emails and text messages and photos and go, look, she said she liked it. And I mean, it's complicated. It's going to be a lot more nuanced than someone jumping out of the bushes and attacking you when you're in a romantic relationship.

and especially an abusive course of controlling romantic relationship with someone who could kill you. And like, who knows what else is going to come out about this? Like, be careful how much you implicate these women and say, oh, it was their choice. They made that choice every day. I think down the line, we might find out some much darker things about P. Diddy. And there are celebrities already, including but not limited to 50 Cent, Cat Williams,

who are ready to name names and talk about what a dangerous person Sean Diddy Combs is. And I think that it's persistent, like pervasive throughout all of Hollywood. I hope that Violet's TikTok following don't believe I'm attacking black men when I say I think Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, loads of powerful men in Hollywood were doing exactly the same thing. Like, I don't think we know how deep it goes. The right wing used to be like, Hollywood's full of pedophiles. And now I think...

Yeah, probably. And they wouldn't just target women. I think a lot of young men who've spoken about their experience in Hollywood, some of whom are dead, and we don't really know what's going on with Justin Bieber, but he's crying in public a lot. Like, I just think it can be a good place and also a deeply sick place. And even watching movies...

Some of the most wonderful Oscar-nominated movies, I would look at some of the violence and some of the sexual abuse in those movies. Even while I was watching them years ago, I'd go, I don't want to see this. Who wrote this? Who made this? They're fucking sick. Please write me an email.
