Today we bring you an oldie but a goodie - the 1994 SCC decision of R v S(WD). This decision, which deals primarily with jury instructions, has led to something commonly known as a "WD Instruction". Before Zach takes you through the case, Z and K chat juries, evidence law, jury instruction, and brushing up on the basics.
CW: This case involves an allegation of sexual assault. Please take care when listening.
