In My First Podcast, we learn about sounds and the words that go with them. There are so many sounds that we hear every day. Crunches, cracks, dings and ticks.

Tickling in your ear sounds and crashing far too noisy sounds. Each day is filled with wonderful sounds. And of course, we can make sounds ourselves too. Did you hear that? I'm making a popping sound with my mouth. Can you make a sound too? Maybe your grown-ups can show you. It's time for our sound adventure.

But before we can go on our adventure, we need our magical bag of sounds. Are you here, bag of sounds? Ah, here it is. This bag is full of exciting sounds for today's adventure. I wonder what's inside. Let's open the bag to take a little listen. The sounds are all swishing around. Can you hear some of them?

That's a pig. I wonder if the pig will be in our adventure today. OK, bag, it's time for you to pick our sounds. Let's close the zip and mix them up nicely. Let's dive into our bag of sound and see what treasures can be found. A purring cat, a swaying tree. Open up in one...

two, three. Hmm, now that sounds familiar. Let's have another listen. I know, it's a bird. Now on to sound number two. I wonder which sound will pop out next. Oh, do you know what this is? It's a vehicle you find a lot on a farm. That's right, it's a tractor.

A tractor is a big strong vehicle that helps farmers do work. Thank you Magic Bag for giving us two sounds for today's adventure. A bird and a tractor. Now we only need one more sound to start our adventure. And this sound will tell us where our adventure takes place. It could be outside or inside. We could be by a lake or in a car. Where will our sound adventure be?

Let's open the bag one more time. Hmm, sounds like we're outside. I can hear animals and people working. Ah yes, we are on a farm. So for today's adventure we are on a farm with a bird and a tractor. And this is Tommy. Hello Tommy. Tommy is visiting the farm to pick strawberries with his mum.

Strawberries grow on green leafy plants and you can pick them and eat them. Yummy! I wonder when our sounds will pop up. Listen out for the bird and the tractor. Here we go! Tommy and his mum are on the farm to pick strawberries. The cows moo and a bird tweets.

Tommy plucks a strawberry from the plant. He puts the strawberry in his basket. A tractor drives past. It's very loud. More strawberries are added to the basket. Tommy eats a strawberry. Yummy!

Tommy had a lovely time picking strawberries with his mum on the farm. Now, let's listen again and see if you can spot the bird and the tractor. Shout out loud when you hear them! That's the bird. That's the tractor.

The bird again. Did you spot our sounds too? Great job! What a yummy adventure we had. Now it's time for us to put our sounds back in the bag. Bye bird, bye tractor. There, they're all safely back in the bag, ready for their next adventure. Before we go, let's sing our sound adventure song.
