Hello. You are listening to My First Podcast, a magical world of sounds made just for you and your grown-ups to enjoy together. I'm Lucy. How are you today? In My First Podcast, we learn about sounds and the words that go with them. There are so many sounds that we hear every day. Knocks, plops, crashes, clangs and whistles.

tickling in your ear sounds and crashing far too noisy sounds. Each day is filled with wonderful sounds. And of course, we can make sounds ourselves too. Did you hear that? I am knocking on wood. Can you make a sound too? Maybe your grown-ups can show you. It's time for our sound adventure.

But before we can start our adventure, we need our magical bag of sounds. Are you here, bag of sounds? Ah, here it is. This bag is full of exciting sounds for today's adventure. I wonder what's inside? Let's open the bag to take a little listen. The sounds are all swirling around. Can you hear some of them? Ooh, that's the rustle of trees in the wind.

Maybe some trees will be in our sound adventure today. Okay bag, it's time for you to pick our sounds. Let's close the zip and mix them up nicely. Let's dive into our bag of sound and see what treasures can be found. A bouncing ball, the pouring of tea. Let's open up in one, two, three.

Hmm, this is a tricky one. Let's have another listen. That's right, it's the sound of a pebble splashing in some water. Now on to sound number two. I wonder which sound will pop out next. Oh, do you know what this is? It's the sound of geese.

Geese are big birds with long necks and soft, fluffy feathers. They can be found in groups, waddling around or swimming in the water. When geese talk to each other, they make a honking sound. It can be very loud and quite funny. Thank you, Bag of Sounds, for giving us two sounds for today's adventure. A pebble splashing...

and some geese honking. Now we only need one more sound to start our adventure. And this sound will tell us where our adventure takes place. It could be outside or inside. We could be on a street or at a coffee shop. Where will our sound adventure be? Let's open the bag one more time. It sounds like we're outside.

I can hear wind rustling and water lapping. I know, we are at a pond. So for today's sound adventure, we are at a pond with a pebble and a goose honking. And this is Robin. Hello, Robin. Robin is at a pond with her family and her dad is teaching her to skip pebbles.

I wonder when our sounds will pop up. Listen out for the pebble and the geese. Can you spot them? Then here we go! It's a lovely sunny day by the pond. Robin is with her dad. They look for nice smooth pebbles. They move closer to the pond. It's very peaceful. Dad gently throws the pebble and it skips across the water.

Now it's Robin's turn. It sounds like Robin stepped on a twig. Dad helps Robin choose a pebble. Whoosh! Robin's pebble flies through the air and makes a big splash. Oh, hello there. The geese are curious about the pebble game. It's so much fun skipping pebbles.

Robin is tired. It's time to leave the pond. What a lovely way to spend the day. Robin loved learning to skip pebbles with her dad. Now, let's listen again and see if you can spot the pebble and the geese. Shout out loud when you hear them. That's the pebble splashing on the water. The pebble again.

That's the geese. The pebble. Did you spot our sounds too? Great job! What an exciting adventure we had. Now it's time for us to put our sounds back in the bag. Bye pebble. Bye geese. There. They're all safely back in the bag, ready for their next adventure. Before we go, let's sing the sound adventure song.

Every day we're learning new sounds Listen out to hear what we feel Long ones and shorter ones, beeps and blare ones Lower ones, taps and chirps Inside or outside we hear, we love to hear sounds big and small

Listen close to what we have for every sound. One's noisy, one's whistles and clang. Booming and whispering crashes and our sound adventure has just begun. Let's listen and learn. Thanks for joining me on our sound journey today.
