Hello, you are listening to My First Podcast, a magical world of sounds made just for you and your grown-ups to enjoy together. I'm Lucy. How are you today? In My First Podcast, we learn about sounds and the words that go with them. There are so many sounds that we hear every day. Bumps, crackles, beeps and shuffles.
tickling in your ear sounds and banging far too noisy sounds. Each day is filled with wonderful sounds. And of course, we can make sounds ourselves too. Did you hear that? I can blow air through my teeth and make this buzzing sound. Can you make a sound too? Maybe your grown-ups can show you. It's time for our sound adventure.
But before we can go on our adventure, we need our magical bag of sounds. And here it comes now! This bag is full of wonderful sounds for today's adventure. I wonder what's inside? Let's open the bag to take a listen. The sounds are all swirling around. Can you hear some of them? Oh, that's a noisy one. It's a drill. Maybe we'll hear the drill in today's adventure.
Okay bag, it's time for you to pick our sounds. Let's close the zip and mix them all up together. Let's dive into our bag of sound and see what wonders can be found. A gentle wind, a bird that sings. Let's see what the bag will bring. One, two, three. Well, this sounds like something rolling along. Maybe something with wheels.
I think I know this one. It's a scooter racing along the pavement. Now on to sound number two. Which sound do you think will pop out next? I think we all know this one. You might have one in your house. Yes, it's a doorbell ringing. Ding dong! Thank you Bag of Sounds for giving us two sounds for today's adventure. A scooter...
and a doorbell. Now we only need one more sound to start our adventure. And this sound will tell us where our adventure takes place. It could be outside or inside. We could be at a garden party or in a car. Where will our sound adventure be? Let's open the bag one more time. Hmm, I think we're outside. It's quite peaceful here.
I can hear people walking around and some cars driving by. There are some birds singing too. I know, we must be outside on the pavement in a village. So for today's sound adventure we are walking down a pavement with a scooter and a doorbell. And this is Jenson. Hi Jenson! Jenson is riding his scooter to his friend's house with his dad.
They're going to spend the day playing together out in the garden. I wonder when our sounds will pop up. Listen out for the scooter and the doorbell. Can you spot them? Then here we go! Jenson and his dad leave the house. Jenson is very excited to go to his friend's house. The front gate closes. Some cars pass by on the road.
Jensen rides his scooter down the pavement. A dog barks at Jensen as he scoots past. Jensen rides his scooter down the pavement and stops. They walk up the steps to his friend's house. Jensen presses the doorbell. The door opens and Jensen steps inside. It's time to play. I love the sound of it.
Jenson loved riding his scooter to his friend's house. They even passed a barking dog on their journey. Finally, they arrived at their friend's house and rang the doorbell. Did you hear the scooter and the doorbell? Let's listen again and see if you can spot them. Shout out loud when you hear them. That's the scooter. The scooter again.
That's the doorbell. Did you spot our sounds too? Great job! What an exciting outdoor adventure we had. Now it's time for us to put our sounds back in the bag. Bye bye sounds! There. All safely back in the bag, ready for their next adventure. Before we go, let's sing the sound adventure song. Every day
We're learning new sound Listen out to hear what we feel Long ones and shorter ones Beeps and blare ones Lower ones, taps and chirps Inside or outside we hear We love to hear sounds big and small
