About 10 years ago I conducted this experiment in my business. It's an atypical exercise FOR SURE, but it had such a profound and lasting impact on my business. What I learned from this 'Year of No' has continued to be the framework for how I make decisions about my time now--a decade later. After doing this for a year I gained major clarity on:
- Where I was wasting time
- What was time well spent
- What mattered in my business and life
- What didn't matter in my business or life
- What propelled me forward
- What kept me stuck
- What caused me overwhelm
- What gave me peace and control
