Shownotes Transcript

Douglas Joseph, or Dougie as he is known to friends, is an Australian male model, who was scouted at age 21 and whose career has taken him on the runway with Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss, as well as shooting for Brooks Brothers.

Listen to Dr. Allie and Bridget Malcolm in conversation with Dougie as they speak about his experience with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Avoiding Alcohol. At the age of 19, Dougie was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. From his high school days, Dougie has experienced how all-consuming his anxiety disorder can be. With Dougie, we explore in depth how his anxiety has affected him and his realization that alcohol use makes him more vulnerable.
