Barbara Sahakian is Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology at Cambridge, Past-President of the International Neuroethics Society, Past-President of the British Association for Psychopharmacology, and a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.

With co-author Julia Gottwald, she takes readers beyond the media headlines, considering what the technique of fMRI entails, and what information it can give us.
