16th Nov: 💥 Federal Reserve Bank of New York launches a 12-week (Wholesale) CBDC pilot program with major banking giants! BNY Mellon, Citi, U.S. Bank HSBC, Mastercard, PNC Banks Trust and Wells Fargo will be issuing tokens and settling transactions through simulated central bank reserves as part of the pilot. 👀 A Central bank that makes the source code of CBDC open source, builds it on an Open Blockchain & implements Zero Knowledge Proof could be an endgame for Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency. But why would they do that, they may as well implement Bitcoin with Lightning Network. Only two problems are ⚡ Block Size ⚡ Expensive
