To my colleagues in the restaurant business, how have you been doing since the Coronavirus fiasco? I know it's been very challenging to survive in this industry nowadays, but hey, now is the best time to show how we love to be in this business more than ever! 

We love being here, we love food, and we love serving people! It is hard and intense, but we are fighters! Within the next few days, I'll be sharing with you a bunch of practical tips on how we are battling this pandemic crisis to make sure we come out strong together! 

Today, I am encouraging everyone to show gratefulness. It is critical for us at these difficult times to crank up our Gratitude Department. People are not going out as often as they used to, but they are choosing to come to your restaurant and order your food. 

Let them know we are truly grateful for them, and here are four ways to do this: 

  1. Human connection -During delivery and pick up transactions, make an eye-to-eye contact while saying, "thank you." 

  2. Put your "thank you" message on your website and social media. 

  3. Send out emails to thank customers. 

  4. Mail out "thank you" cards -it will go a long way.
