Today I want to talk about healing your body with the law of assumption. And if you are a long-term listener to my podcast, then you most likely know my story. But if you're new here, then welcome to the show. And I want to briefly share my story with you. In the year 2020, I had a health issue. There was a cyst that was discovered in my bladder that then had to be surgically removed. And after this surgery, I developed severe nerve damage. And
the nerve damage was so severe that even when I put my boxer shorts on, I was screaming in pain. Or when I was going to a doctor's appointment, I had to pull the seat belt away from my belly because I couldn't take the pain. That was my reality back then. And
For me back then, it was clear that, well, it was just clear from all the doctors I talked to that in the traditional sense, there wouldn't be any healing. My doctors, every single neurologist, every single general practitioner that I talked to said if it's not healed by now, it may be get better 5% or 1%, but
complete recovery is impossible. And at this time, I then discovered Dr. Joe Dispenza, I discovered the teachings from Neville Goddard, and I then, well, I then experienced my spiritual awakening, and I then learned about the power of the mind, about manifesting, and then in the course of a couple of months, it took about, I would say, in total, nine, ten months till I was fully healed.
I then embarked on this journey of healing, this journey of self-discovery, this journey of overcoming myself. And yes, it took a while for me to heal. And for you, it might take just a week or maybe it takes a year. I mean, in the end, it doesn't matter because
Time will pass anyway. And if you are 40 right now, in one year you will be 41 if you do the work or if you don't do it. In two years you will be 42 if you manifest or if you don't manifest. So always remember, you have a choice to make. And the choice, or let's say the right choice in the situation, would be to say, I do everything in my power to heal my body. And that's why I invite you to create...
the perfect health imaginal act, what it means for you to create a vivid mental scene of yourself experiencing perfect health, of you living in a reality in which perfect health is your state of being. Because remember, Neville Goddard always talks about the imaginal act. You need to go into the imaginal act and you need to, by immersing yourself into the imaginal act, feel the feelings of the wish fulfilled.
And for me back then, I had the choice between different images. Different images for me represented my healing, my physical healing. There was, for example, the image of me being able to walk pain-free again, which back then I wasn't able to do. Then there was the image of me going to the gym again and lifting weights. But then there was one image,
Like one image that was truly, truly powerful for me. And this image was me being able to play basketball again, because I'm a huge basketball fan and I love playing basketball. And that was the image that I had in mind.
And I then tested in the imaginal act when I was going into meditation, I tested which of these images were the most powerful for me, which of the images helped me to get to the feeling of the wish fulfilled the fastest, which of these images created the most powerful emotions in me.
And that's when I then focused on mainly, I would say, yeah, always every now and then saw myself in the gym, I saw myself walking again perfectly, but I really focused on this image of me playing basketball and
I didn't just focus on it in a very superficial way. I focused on it in the tiniest, tiniest detail. I saw myself jumping. I felt my feet lifting from the ground.
I felt how it would feel like to let the basketball roll from my fingers for a layup. I heard the whoosh sound of the ball going through the net, or let's better say first to the backboard and then to the net. I really created this sensory experience for myself, and it's exactly what I invite you to do. I invite you to create a sensory experience for yourself.
where no matter what you're struggling with right now, where you create an image or multiple images, and you allow yourself to truly and I mean, truly and fully immerse yourself into this new reality to go into the imaginary act in a way that
that you've never done it before, more intensely, more powerfully, and to then truly feel the feeling of the wish fulfilled. And even though Neville Goddard states that the feeling of the wish fulfilled isn't necessarily an emotion, but it can simply be a state of knowingness, of certainty,
I truly believe from my own experience and of course also from having coached so many amazing clients. Yes, of course, in my 8-week Abundance Reality Shift coaching program, but I also coach clients
who struggled with health issues or who struggled with other issues and who didn't want to necessarily at this point in their life manifest money. And I just want you to think about: What is the one thing that I really want to do again when I'm healed? What is the one thing I want to do again and what are the feelings, what are the emotions that I would feel if I was already healed? Would you feel unlimited?
Would you feel powerful? Would you feel the sense of freedom? Would you feel the sense of fulfillment? What would you feel? Because remember, if you only imagine it, but you don't give it any emotional, yeah, any emotional kaboom, so to speak,
Then of course it's hard for you to put yourself in this reality, because we human beings are also emotional beings, which means we are motivated by emotions, we are guided by emotions. And of course a lot of people always say "No, no, we are logical human beings and I bought this sports car because it has these horsepowers", but in the end it's just an emotional decision, because this specific car makes you feel differently than the other car.
And the same is true for you motivating your mind to guide you in a direction that feels right for you. That feels right for you in the sense of you already experiencing your physical healing in the imaginal act and then you experiencing it at some point in the physical reality.
Also remember, this of course depends on how physically limited you are at the moment, but try to embody physical activity, try to embody that you are strong, that you're energetic, that you are powerful. And I say try because at the beginning of my journey it was basically impossible for me to do that. I was bedridden, I was in constant pain, I could barely do anything, I could barely walk. That's how bad it was for me.
But if you, for example, suffer from a certain disease, from a certain illness, that might be very terrible for you, but that doesn't limit you physically too much, then try to be as active as possible. Because I believe that when you do that, you are sending to the universe the signal, hey, I'm active, I'm doing something, I'm energetic, I have energy, I live my life.
And this can again put you, or let's say it can make it easier for you to put yourself into this new self of your whole and healthy self. And
Also remember one part, and this is something that for a lot of people in the beginning sounds absolutely crazy. I mean, for me it sounded crazy, but I want you to stay open to it. And that's to find gratitude in this moment. And I know right now you might want to scream at me and say, I have nothing to be grateful for. But I want to share two examples with you, one from my own life and one from a Joe Dispenza testimonial that I've watched.
There was a Joe Dispenza testimonial where a woman was in the wheelchair, she was very sick, she even suffered from double vision. And then she saw two trees while looking out of the window instead of just one.
And in this moment, she tried to be grateful for seeing two trees, which, logically speaking, I mean, a lot of people would laugh about it, would say that's completely delusional, that's crazy. But I did something similar, because in the beginning of my journey, the only thing that I could eat and that I was able to digest was potatoes and sweet potatoes and every now and then a little bit of vegetables.
but I was sick and tired of the potatoes. I was sick and tired of the sweet potatoes. But here's what I did. I had my meal in front of me, which was just in water boiled sweet potatoes. That's it. That was my meal. In water boiled sweet potatoes. I kid you not. It took about one and a half years after my complete healing, once I was able to eat everything that I wanted to eat again, for me to actually touch sweet potatoes again. Like...
In the first year after my physical healing, if somebody would have said, I cooked sweet potatoes for you, I would have strangled that person, set them on fire, teared and feathered them, and thrown the sweet potatoes out of the window. I was sick and tired of them. But what I did was to sit down, I had my sweet potatoes, and I was saying...
Thank you. Thank you for these sweet potatoes. Thank you for these sweet potatoes. And I try to feel grateful for having the luxury to eat these damn sweet potatoes. And I know it sounds crazy, I know it sounds funny, I know it sounds weird, but...
gratitude is the ultimate state of receivership. That's something that Joe Dispenza always says. And I truly believe that the teachings of Joe Dispenza can be perfectly combined with the teachings and the philosophy and the techniques from Neville Goddard. And if you go into the imaginal act and you reach the feeling of the wish fulfilled, and you then
are grateful for anything, just anything to be grateful for. Because remember, gratitude is also a part of the feeling of the wish fulfilled, because gratitude means that you have accepted that what you want is already yours, otherwise you wouldn't be grateful. And then of course, throughout the day, you can also work with affirmations, you can constantly work on changing your mental diet,
on changing your mental diet into, well, just like a healthy diet when it comes to food, your mental diet should be healthy. That's why I invite you to focus on positive things, to repeat over and over again, I am healed, I am whole, I am healthy. And in my experience, and this is the last point that I want to mention, healing, physical healing, and also mental healing, of course, has so much to do with love.
It has so much to do with loving yourself and with loving your life. And that's why affirmations such as "I love myself" and "I'm in love with life" are so powerful. And this is something where in the beginning I struggled with that tremendously. Because I honestly, I hated myself. I hated my life. I was a very negative person, but
the more I went into the mental diet, the more I changed how I thought and how I felt. And then at some point, this change in my mental diet led to me changing, me perceiving myself as a healthy and whole person, and that's when my reality could shift.
