This gratitude exercise has the power to make you rich. And yes, I truly believe that because I'm experimenting with this exercise every single day. And because I want to show you why this exercise is so effective, I have a very simple question for you.
Is it easier for you to feel abundant when you look at proof for your abundance in your current physical reality or when you go into the imaginal act? And the answer is pretty obvious. It's always easier to feel abundant when you already have a certain level of abundance in your life.
when it's already there in your physical reality. In the same way as it's easier for you to imagine what it feels like to sit in a Porsche and to imagine what it feels like to
press the pedal to the metal and to drive that car when you actually sat in one before or when you actually own one and you sit in it every day than it is for you to imagine it. And with this exercise I simply invite you to look for proof
for your abundance in your physical reality. And now you might be saying, yeah, but Sebastian, I am not abundant at all right now. Well, even if you think that, you still are abundant, at least to a certain extent, because you have a smartphone or a laptop or any electronic device that allows you to connect to the internet with which you're currently listening to this podcast episode, which means this is already a proof of abundance.
And what I do now every single day in the evening is to walk through my apartment complex and to look for signs of abundance. And of course, nowadays, this is very easy for me because I see the pool, I see the gym, I see my amazing apartment and I say, this is abundant. I am already abundant. I mean, I don't even have to imagine abundance. I'm already so abundant.
However, I want to make that clear before you now say, "Oh yeah, okay, if I had a pool and a gym in the apartment, I would also feel abundant." But I already did that.
when I was living in an apartment that was not abundant at all. In fact, it was very small and not high-end at all. I was already doing that when I could barely afford a visit in an average restaurant, when I was barely able to afford my groceries back then. I mean, when I was starting out on this journey of manifesting abundance, I was making less than $1,000 a month on average.
Every now and then there was a month where I made $1,500, but then in the most miraculous ways, I managed to lose that money again, because, well, I had a money consciousness and I reached a very low money frequency, which made sure that I never really went over the amount of money that back then I felt worthy to receive. Even though I wasn't really consciously aware of it, but subconsciously I was anchored at this state.
And even back then, I tried my best in the beginning of my manifestation journey to look for proof every day that I'm already abundant. For example, back then I said to myself, I have a smartphone. This is a sign of abundance. It's a great piece of technology. I am abundant. I have shoes. I have clothes. I have running water. I have something in the fridge. And these are already things that...
If you really immerse yourself into it, into this feeling of gratitude for the abundance you already have in your life, this then leads to more abundance because it is so much easier to feel abundant for the things that you already have. And again, I want to make that clear. I don't deny the fact that it is easier for you to feel grateful for
for the abundant life that you're living when you're already living in your penthouse apartment or you already have your dream sports car or you already wear the Rolex on your wrist. Of course it's way easier, but it's necessary to do it at a point where you don't have that yet. That's why I always mention that in the beginning of my healing journey, when I was only able to eat potatoes and sweet potatoes, I tried to feel grateful for the potatoes and sweet potatoes I was eating, which is of course completely stupid from a logical perspective,
from somebody who does not believe in manifesting, or who is not aware of manifesting. But from a spiritual perspective, I did everything right.
Because I found a way to be grateful for it. I actually said to myself, there are many people in this world who don't even have access to potatoes and sweet potatoes. So yes, be grateful for those sweet potatoes and those potatoes, even though I wanted to throw them out of the window. However, I had to develop the gratitude for that messed up physical situation that I was in back then in order to then heal my body.
in the same way as I had to find things to be grateful for when it comes to my financial, well, if we want to call it like that, abundance back then, in order for me to reach the next level on my journey towards even more abundance, way more abundance than back then I could have possibly dreamed of.
That's also why people struggle so much to get out of situations, no matter if it's an unfulfilling relationship when they want to manifest a fulfilling relationship, or if it's an unfulfilling job and a low-paying job when they want a job that has doubled the salary.
Because they never think about finding ways to be grateful for their current situation. They give up way too early. Because even when you're in an unfulfilling relationship right now, you can still be grateful that this unfulfilling relationship has taught you what you no longer want and now you're ready for what you really want. Be grateful for that.
If you're stuck in a low paying job, in a dead end job, then be grateful that this job provides you with some income right now. And again, I want to make that clear. I do not mean that you should then settle for this and say, okay, I'm so grateful that I have my low paying job. So who cares? I'm just going to stay in it because Sebastian told me I have to be grateful for it. That's not what I mean.
This is a technique to shift your emotional state and to then reach a different frequency. Which means by you being grateful for the shitty job you might have right now, and by finding ways to be grateful for it, maybe there's one colleague who you really like, even if it's just one out of hundred. Or maybe every now and then a customer smiles at you, even though 99% of them are horrible to you. Then focus on this one person.
And maybe you're not satisfied with the money you're earning right now, but be grateful that you can actually eat the sandwich that you have in front of you right now, just as an example, and be grateful for the sandwich and bless it and blessed that you have this money in your bank account from this job. Because only when you find a way to be grateful for your current situation,
will you be able to get out of the situation? That's the catch-22. I don't even know if catch-22 makes sense right now, but that's at least how I see it as a non-native speaker. But anyway, what I mean is that if you want to get out of the current situation, you have to be grateful for the current situation, even though, of course, you want to get out of it. So that's the problem that so many people are facing, and that's why they never get out of these states and get out of these jobs, get out of these relationships, get out of
these financial situations because they only focus which is a good thing if you of course focus on the future you want to create and you visualize it and you feel the elevated emotions don't get me wrong that's powerful it's amazing but you also and it's equally important have to find a way to be grateful now in your current physical reality
And as somebody who was completely bedridden and who could barely afford groceries and who for a long time wasn't able to eat anything but sweet potatoes and potatoes and who was crying whenever he put his boxer shorts on because of his nerve damage, I know that it can be freaking hard. But it is necessary.
And that's why I invite you to every day take just three minutes, two minutes, one minute, if it might just be 60 seconds out of your busy day and be grateful for the things around you. Look around in your apartment and find gratitude for the smallest things. Maybe you have some pens and some pots and you can actually make food for yourself. Look in the fridge and say, I am abundant. And
This is something that I still do up to this day. I mean, I have hundreds of thousands of dollars in my bank account. I am financially free nowadays. And I still open my fridge and I say things such as, "I'm so grateful for this orange juice, this delicious orange juice." Or, "I'm so grateful for this German chocolate cake that I have in there."
I am so grateful for my smartphone, that I have this microphone that allows me to talk to you. I still do it with the small things. Of course, nowadays I also do it with the bigger things like the business class flights or the gym or the pool in my apartment. I of course do it with these things that most people would call abundant, but I also still do it with the small things. Every day I walk around in my apartment complex and I'm thankful for the environment.
I'm thankful that I live this life. I'm thankful for the place I'm in. I'm thankful for my laptop. I'm thankful for a notebook that I have where I can write my ideas down. I just find ways to be grateful for everything. And this is the key, because remember what Joe Dispenza always says, gratitude is the ultimate state of receivership. And again, I want to repeat it, because gratitude
I don't want you to use that as an excuse. Yes, if you're more abundant it's easier to do it, but I still did it at a time in my life where I was not abundant at all, which then eventually allowed me to become more and more abundant. And that's what I invite you to do. I invite you to do this exercise
and to take at least one minute, two minutes, three minutes, maybe even five minutes out of your busy day, every day. Maybe you want to do it like me and you do it in the evening after dinner. That's when I usually do it. After dinner I just take a little walk and it can just be five minutes or ten minutes. For me it's usually five to ten minutes.
And I'm just grateful for these things. And I look at these things and I find ways to be grateful for all the things in my life. And if you can do that, then you can shift your physical reality. Because by you being grateful,
you are entering the state of receivership and by you then feeling better about your current physical reality, about your current bank account statement, about the current level of abundance that you have in your life, even though, logically speaking, it might be a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny part of abundance.
By you being grateful for it, you then shift your emotional state in a way where you can attract more abundance to you. I invite you to do this exercise. For me, it really changed my life and I can just, well, I can just recommend that you do it.
every single day because remember as always consistency is key. And of course if you want to work with me in my eight-week one-on-one coaching program the Abundance Reality Shift coaching program and you're really ready to completely shift your reality
