Today I want to talk about one of the biggest misconceptions about manifestation techniques and I want to open your eyes to the truth about how manifesting works and how manifesting doesn't work and I want you with this episode to, yeah, to open your eyes but to also open your mind in a way where you see manifestation techniques from a different light and from a different perspective.

Because most people, when they read about manifesting, they then maybe also find my podcast, just like you found my podcast. And they study the work from Neville Goddard and Dr. Joe Dispenza. And they then discover certain manifestation techniques, such as scripting, or affirmations, or meditation, or vision boards, and so on.

they then say to themselves, okay, if I only use this manifestation technique, that's when I will manifest my dreams. So for example, somebody discovers the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza and says,

he or she then starts meditating every day and says to themselves, okay, by me doing these meditations, I then manifest the money that I want, or I manifest the physical healing that I want, or I manifest a loving relationship that I want, and

Unfortunately, it's not that simple. And this misconception can actually lead you down a path where it's harder and harder and harder for you to manifest what you truly want because you rely on these techniques. And now you might be saying, yes, Sebastian, but wait a moment. You are talking about meditation all day long. You're talking about affirmations. And you also teach that in your one-on-one coaching program.

And I say, yes, that is true. I also manifested amazing experiences online.

by meditating. I manifested physical healing by meditating. I manifested abundance, me 20x-ing my income by meditating in the exact way with the exact visualization techniques that I share with you in my Abundance Reality Shift coaching program. But the reason why I was able to manifest all these amazing things is not because I stuck to a technique,

but because I used the technique to change. And now you might be saying, Sebastian, so still about the technique, so why do you even make this episode? I can tell you why I make this episode, because there is a huge difference, and I want you to realize this difference. There is a huge difference between saying, I will manifest X because I meditate,

And saying, I manifest X because the meditation I'm doing will help me to change and to become the person who can then manifest X, whatever that X might be. Because it's not the technique that manifests something. It is you changing through the technique. The technique is just a tool. And I want to explain right now why this difference is so important.

And I want to explain it with person A and person B. Person A is somebody who thinks about manifestation techniques as the end-all be-all, and this person does not achieve their manifestation goal. Whereas person B sees the manifestation techniques as what they truly are, which is tools for you personally to change.

So let's take, for example, person A in regards to physical healing. And that was exactly the journey that I went on at the beginning of my manifestation journey because I healed my body from severe nerve damage where every doctor that I ever talked to told me,

If it's not healed by now, it won't heal. So if I would have done what person A does, which is to say, okay, that's the meditation, that's my manifestation technique, and that's how I will heal. Then I would have done my meditation as a technique. Maybe I would have even added affirmations as a technique. And then throughout the day, I would be completely unconscious.

I would have not observed my thoughts because, hey, I've done my meditations, right? And the meditations, they manifest anything I want. So I do my meditations and I do my affirmations, but I keep thinking the same way. I keep, during the day when I'm not in a meditation, feeling the same way. I make the same choices. I talk to myself in the same way. I see the world through the same eyes. I...

Walk the same way and I am the same way. Will my body change? Will my reality shift? Most likely not. Because I haven't changed. In order to create change in your life, you are the one who has to change. Not the technique, but you are the one who has to change.

Now let's have a look at person B, the person who manifests their desire, which is exactly what I did back then. I saw meditation or affirmations or vision board, even though I personally am not a big fan of vision boards, as you already know if you are a long-term listener, but hey, that doesn't mean that it can't work for you. But I am a big fan of scripting, for example, and I then use all these techniques, but I

I am aware of the fact that these techniques are just tools. They are just tools to get me to the feelings I want to get to. They are just tools to change my beliefs so that I can think more like the new self. And because as person B I say to myself: "Okay, these are meditations and affirmations and scripting and vision boards, these are just tools, what really matters is that I change."

So how can I, when I do not do these techniques, how can I still make sure that I become more and more the new self that I want to become? Because I realize now that nothing changes in my life until I change.

And that's when person B then, just like person A, meditates, affirms, uses a vision board, and maybe even uses scripting, but person B looks at it from a completely different perspective. Person B looks at it from the perspective of somebody who realizes that these are just tools. And that's why person B then, throughout the day, observes his or her thoughts.

Person B looks at himself or herself in the mirror and says, who do I want to be today? What person do I want to show up as? What thoughts do I want to have? What actions do I no longer want to take? What behaviors do I want to change? How can I, when I am not engaged in any of these manifestation techniques, how can I still change?

How can I become somebody else? How can I be somebody that I truly want to be? How can I become the person that is the vibrational and the frequency equivalent?

And that's why person B changes, whereas person A, yeah, person A maybe shifts a little bit and changes a little bit, but person A won't undergo these tremendous powerful changes that person B undergoes. And that's why person B reaches their manifestation goal so much faster, so much easier, and person B is then able to manifest way more and

way better than person A. And of course, you can use this to any example that you want to manifest.

Let's take, for example, manifesting money. If you are like person A and you then do your meditations and you feel abundant and you then affirm, I'm rich and wealthy, I'm rich and wealthy, and you then say, okay, today I've done my manifestation techniques, I'm good for today, that's it, I can now relax and watch some TV show, that brings me down with a lot of murder and a lot of chaos.

chaos and drama and oh yeah I mean should I change my actions I don't know I mean nah I should just continue to do what I've always done well because yeah that's just what I do I mean I've done my meditations I've done my affirmations I'm good for today and then you take the same actions you

take the same, you show up in the same way, you behave in the same way and with your actions, with your behavior and maybe even to a certain extent with your thoughts because you don't really check in on yourself in which state you are when you're not engaged in a meditation or in an affirmation or in any other manifestation technique,

That's why you don't change and you're still the same in scarcity and in lack based person that you were before. And that's why the abundance that you want can't flow to you. But now let's have a look at person B again. Person B is the person who looks at manifestation techniques

and sees tools, tools for them to change. Person B now says, okay, I meditate, I affirm, I do scripting, I use these techniques, but when I do not use these techniques, how am I feeling? How am I thinking? I'm observing myself. What other action steps could I take that might not be directly linked to any manifestation technique, but that helped me to change? Because

As person B, I realize that I am the one who has to change. I am the one who has to

go through this transformation from being somebody who is based in lack and scarcity to somebody who's based in abundance. So maybe I could dress differently to feel more abundant. Maybe I could walk differently. Maybe I could express myself differently. Maybe I could go in different environments. I will do whatever it takes when I'm not meditating, when I'm not affirming, when I'm not scripting to become that new self, because I know that all these manifestation techniques are

are just tools and nothing more. And that's the idea that I want to share with you today. Because once you make this realization, or let's better say, once you make this internal shift, moving away from seeing manifestation techniques as the end-all be-all,

and actually seeing them for what they are, which is helpful tools for you to change while you focus on you changing, that's when everything that you want can and will flow to you.
