“Should I get my real estate license?” Probably one of the most common questions we get asked from people looking to learn more about real estate and real estate investing.
The short answer, it depends.
More important to understand is do I need to get my real estate license to help me be a successful real estate investor?
Absolutely not!
The key point to understand is that a real estate agent is still creating “active income” and the goal in real estate investing is to make “passive income”.
But if you’re someone who wants to be an agent and that excites you, there can be a ton of benefits that also help you in your real estate investing just like our guest!
On this week’s episode of the Real Estate Investing School Podcast we are joined with Southern Utah Real Estate Agent and Investor Jace Shepherd.
Jace started investing in 2006 with his first flip making $14,000. He bought his next flip and in the middle of the rehab the crash happened, pretty tough timing to start his journey. After that he let fear take control and quit investing for years till he got back into it knowing that it was the path to create his dream life.
In this episode Jace shares a ton of value and principles about his experience that have helped him grow his portfolio. How he finds and creates seller financing deals, how he worked with and got a great deal with a wholesaler, how to build relationships and how providing value to others will return value to you! All of this and more to create win - win situations in real estate.
