Making a bold move, Tony proposed an offer that was $5,000 above the asking price, accompanied by a $50,000 escalator, showcasing his unwavering determination. The escalator came into play as there was another offer matching the $50,000 above asking price. Thanks to a personal connection with the seller, they ultimately accepted his offer, although not his highest bid—Tony's original offer of $5,000 above the initial asking price.
