We're go on viral baby.

huge week for new heights last week, the podcast, amazingly well, huge week. But perhaps even Better, we got to actually see each other. Trap came in the filled alpha for a little bit broadly.

Love baby.

Know, how was that? I barely get to see you because I was, get ready for a game. But to see mom and dad and all mum's friends celebrate in my mom's birthday, which doesn't for another couple of weeks but um this was the the date that worked out the best you know .

I don't really mind not seeing you. I'm really not there to see you. I'm there to see those beautiful girls of yours, elliot.

And why had a blast with the fame though? It's it's always it's always good to get everybody under one roof. And we kind of talk about this on a previous episode.

There's nothing like good old family time and and then on top of that, you know, see, you get a win on on a monday night game, big time game. The atmosphere was electric in philadelphy. Everybody showed out for the first home game. And yeah, he was, he was a blast. Man.

yeah. What do you think of a link? I know you ve been in that before, but how was that on monday?

I mean, i'm i'm getting Green when I mean that thing now. You know, I mean, like i'm one, i'm one with the people. I, I, I don't sit around and a sweeter go up there. You also included from everybody may not in that thing.

screaming E A G L E S angles are, do you eagles? Well, i'm the same way when i'm at the chief s in ahead. So I appreciate you coming out.

I was awesome to see a let's get going with the podcast. This we did pretty good. Lesser, i'm going to lie Better than I thought we were going to do. We crack the top three in sports podcast in the country, which I think is just the country I guess I don't know that chart works, but what's just call the top here in the world just um which was did not expect to hit that as quick as we did. So i'll take IT.

And I think my I think .

I think we owe a little bit of uh, thank you to for sure sports center for putting us up and really elevating our platform there. I'd also like to thank micromegas and dewin James. Thank you guys. Thank you guys. Embarrass us.

A national T. S. Go viral.

yeah. I mean, listen, maybe we we need to keep going viral. We need to keep your as the poked love really outside of that, we've also been getting some feedback from some fans. I'm going to read some of our favorite comments so far that we've gotten on the podcast.

Let's talk about IT.

Alright, at N, Y, two, K, C, three, two. This might be a bot. I don't know. That seems like a boddie name. alright.

My only bad thing I have to say about this podcast is why did IT you guys think of this sooner? Great question. In y two, K, C, three.

two right now, honestly, now that we've been thinking about for years and we kind of touched on this on a previous episode as well as, know, just waited for the right time and wait for the right time, write opportunity. And um sure enough, I think where we're very comfortable where we're add, you know teamed up with jokes and wave from that point on is just been get none here, finding the time for each other, you know the leasure to be able to come on here with confidence and they know that nobody's second guessed in our motors men no one that we're a foobar players .

first absolutely yeah right time, right place met the right people to make IT all happen. And I think also seen how are other athletes have done IT had success, and it's clearly not exaction. I think all those reasons are why we are kind of hesitant maybe a couple years ago, but this year really became something that we are both looking forward to doing. Next comment, chase a Kelsey yelling go I think IT was more like, go, it's going to be my new along black sound.

You pause that there you're like.

which I was a .

solid go. I could use that as an alarm as well as I always hit that snooze. The first ones always snooze, man, every time I on't even know why I said the first one.

then the third time we got here, there's absolutely no way. I just found out the travis, Chelsea and Jason Kelsey are brothers do their podcast. Why does nobody think there were brothers?

I'd haven't seen IT outside of me and you .

were the family is not a common name. No, it's not like Williams or h. Johnson.

So this is a Jones shorts. yeah. Now this are, this is not a common name at all.

I don't get why nobody has thinks brothers. I think it's because you're skinny and i'm fat. There's the only thing that I can really think of.

Little did they know when we were a little you were skinny and I was.

yeah, you were a little chubby kid. You need to hit that gross ert.

That's i'm still growing, boy, you know, each other with these kids or your Kelsey crunch. If you're in kind of city.

I will go where there any other t mates, friends that had any comments.

Now everybody just just enjoys hearing you talk foobar men, obviously they hear me talk about at all the time in the facility. So they just seeing seeing IT from a different perspective is is always fun, man. And you're tell the story he's cold in right now. Your nursing is pretty on point.

good. I'm glad people enjoying IT. Alright, you take IT off. You want to take off .

with a store let's get IT on celebrity death match would say let's tee up these twelve bold topics. I'm going to ask just in a few questions about his game monday night and he's gonna ask me a few about my thursday night game. Jason, want to start to solve baby.

sure. yeah. Chiefs twenty seven, twenty four over the charges on thursday night.

We got to to start with really what gave us some a sports center love in the first place. How does IT feel when derwin James, absolutely, I mean powerful. The look at on national television.

well, it's not my first time getting power bombed.

so actually put me through the wood floor. Our .

living.

I forgot.

I remember IT the feeling of knowing that dad of my going to come home to a hole in the floor was not the best feeling in the world um but I think that hole was .

still in there when we sold that house.

Never never feel this.

Just put the. Took, took.

I think they took him like a week or two week. So I clean the house to finally see that there was a hole under the under the couch as funny men. wow.

But yeah, no, not my first time in power bond. And obviously, we were talking about last we derwin his og in the game. He is one of the best safety.

I think he's the best safety all around. And then on top of that, you long drive, tired, started started that. I think that was like play eight or nine, maybe even more. I'm started on the left side outside the numbers, run around pets, doing his thing in the pocket, gets out the pocket roles, right? I catched the ball, thinking that he threw me short, where in reality, as I could just turned up and rent to the pile on and got the enzo is the worst thing. Would you watch IT on film and you're just kicking yourself in the head? I kindly deserve to get my as power bomb and that situation for not give me in the in the end zone and shot out to to everybody that game and fantasy is he was kind of like derwin James power bomb your entire fantasy y team right there not get in the zone um but yeah, I turned, I made a cut back and then of a sudden he is on me lightning I mean, he surprised the shit out of me, lower man, and always wins in football when I felt to wrap my raison ds around my legs .

at that moment yes.

there's that moment. I'm chuckling in my mind like this is not about the end. Well, for me right now i'm going up, up.

What goes up must come down. He, I had the body slam was was funny. But what was even more chemical is the fact that he asked me at triple layer after that drivers.

I bw, you good. What a great guy. Man, what a great guy.

solid. De, yeah, that was. There's a moment in a power bomb where you're feeder off the floor and you're in the air. What what was going through your head at that exact moment? What is any, first of all.

anything going on your head? The first thing is to that ball that ball .

the ground you bought so hard that I don't know if you know this but when I was was the bouts on grass, you bots and the ball flu um so good job only on do IT said that was in honestly.

I was talking about how tired I was just from not only that played that drive, but after that the ball hits the ground automatically, you know, as a offence, especially as a culture thing. And oh, man, and that was a close call. We don't know if it's a fumble, not attack, attack, attack, get to the line of create, snap the ball before they can throw the red flag. Ah and it's like i'm looking over at the side like like.

no, we're good. We're good. We don't need, we don't need you.

I got I just to the actually guy.

I get some water.

you know, sub one play. I get one play. We got to first set of downs here. Can I get off the fucking and field? I just but that, like you were saying in mid air, i'm like just hold on to the ball.

And also, like I said, a kind of chocolate like, man, I look like, I look like A W E. Dummy right now. I'm still kicking myself and not find IT a way to get in the ends on on that play in the two place.

Later I got a little shelby's ass that I couldn't yet in the end I just felt a, felt a gibony man just just the unaccountable gibony for not in. And so we ended up settling for three shot out the charges for the stand. But it's just you've got to find a way to get the ball, the enzo oma, and that's the bottom line.

Yeah I mean, well, there was a crucial play in that drive. And up until that point, and I mean, you guys had kind of been hatten cold on office. So why did you talk to do they seem like the first half a cooky guys a little bit to get go there.

They had a couple I think i'm you're touchdown drive in the first after there's a they almost had an interception to stall that drive out. What what did you feel like on thursday night against the charges? Just as a team .

yeah I mean was he was the first time, I think personally that we played a team where we had a handle adversity and you know that's that's a huge stepping stone especially when your new faces, new team, um you have to be able to come together in the biggest thing for me in those types of situations, just get back to fundamentals. Men, the feeling of wanting to get everybody's rally and get them going and get them going in the right direction.

You know that you see that like a ninja man, I fly on my head now. I missed that. Fortunately missed that.

Something tells me, tell me you .

being down ten, rip a does not, never fun, not coming hot, not not starting fast. You know, we preach that all K A to be able to come out, come out fast and and put up points quick for our defense um that is our office that you do not want to get behind like down in the game against because because they ve got a lot of playmakers that run the ball very well. They ve got a good online .

um so was out.

Lucy but I mean I boy I mean but they also showcase just .

how good the charges team is because even with keen in out, I mean they still have .

playmakers across the board .

about illiana dreams was equal, you can say I mean there they are. They are a very loaded team yeah um so and I didn't know this you guys is this true the last three times you guys have played, all three of those games have gone to overtime?

That's a great question. I didn't even know. I know they always tight is always a tough game. I know we lost two, met home, I think, the past two years. So that was a big one for us to get that win. Um in the in the crib for the king dom man you I think the biggest thing was like good back to those fundamentals, thinking that you have to do too much in times of you know trying to persevere, you know that gets uncharacteristic, you know and that and you have to be able to just calm down and just play your game and then you know you're the offence, the the whether you're on off to defence the playmakers, the the balls in here, you gotta make a play on IT and that and for me, um I don't think I I did my job in that in terms of that.

I got to to be a lot Better for the squad and and definitely, you know, the second half of the place find in work downfield from my guys that spring and loose and things like that just shown more effort, because effort rules in this game. Men, if you, if you're flying around with high energy men, good things gonna happen. So we just got to find that energy and get through the tough part of the game like we did.

Well, you guys found the energy in the second half and was the second have half of the Watsons you just in? Watch on with the long touch down and jAiling Watson that picks six late, the game that really ultimately ended up in the deciding factor.

What is .

first of all, who is just in .

losson j baby penny league?

Is there anything Better than a guy coming in with the opportunity, randomly just popping up and making a huge play that is .

like time juice, all time juice admires everybody up? Yeah, absolutely everybody. And I mean, that happened twice in the in the second. Hf, like you said, defense was stepped up, though he gave us a lot of moments with a few sex in a few big time stops, kind of got us to be able to regroup as an offence but ah you didn't set at any Better man. So happy for Justin.

And i've been telling everybody about IT anybody asking me who should, who they should draft and fantasy as a sleep on like, listen that god jay, what is going to be flying and down the field and sure enough, they went man double against me, kind of left the the middle of or everything deep and everything on the outsides of single up, almost like a cover zero look. And yeah, that patch saw IT was actually pretty crazy throat because he saw just out of like the corner of his eye, and within like a millisecond that ball was out and right on the second money. But yet place like that guys step in up to the plate that you know haven't haven't had that chance at or haven't had that opportunity. Get um all time juice moments, men, and you IT definitely sets the team up.

get some fired up. And you just touched on this, which some else I want to talk to. What is if you notice a difference in the way teams are defending you guys now that you don't have tyre and some of the fire part that event in the past you just talked about, I notice, I notice ed, some blizz zero in the first half.

I noticed like you just there are double in you. They're trying to take away um you as a primary target, which they've done. But I think I don't know IT seems like teams are playing you guys a lot more aggressive than what you've had the last .

few years well or arizon came out and just blitz the shit out of us. I think you there was a stat patt getting blitz to certain on the times in the game. He was the most city's had in his career yet obviously, you know, trying to slow the offence down with pressure and known that they got good dbs. And in los Angeles, um I think that defensive coordinators are sticking true to their their regime more. Now that thai s gone, where when thai rik was there, you had to place some type of shell covers against them know he's that guy.

And I think right now we have the speed to go up top but until we keep hidden those big time home runs like we did with just watton, um I just think yeah it's they're onna keep just playing their style of defense and yeah we'll see I mean, you'll i'll still get the man double like I can mentioned early on, on big third downs. And then you know that kind of doesn't doesn't change. But at the same time, they were pretty consistent with seeing what we're getting on film now.

So I know big read, although stock on the sidelines and impress conferences, when juice needs to be made or something needs to be said to get guys going, he has a way of just like either a look. Or like a very simple like, you know, we got to go now, some like that, but IT really gives the whole team energy cause you know IT money actually says something, say, okay, we've Better to get .

IT to get on the year one hundred percent.

what what an A D say at half time of the game.

IT IT wasn't as much as necessarily wake up, you know, but IT was. IT was like, hey, the defence playing their tail off. Let's go ahead and match that energy. Let's go ahead and match that success and put this entire game a together here and um that's that's where he's best man that's where he's the absolute best everybody respects the hell out of him because because of just the guy he is, the leader he is how you know he's he's not smoke and meters you know what you get is is coach read every single day and and you can respect that and you know, in moments like that, we can rally behind that guy.

And that's that's something that i've been so fortunate to have out here in kinds of a city, is the ultimate leader at at the top to be able to get the guys going and get everybody refocused. What he gives that look, you Better, you know, tie them laces up a little tighter, buckle that just step up a little bit more. Yeah, we ve got to get this year go on.

Yeah that's one of the things that I always loved about andy was either sum about like stoicism and about um a coach or a man being on waivers in his like like where he's that you don't mean like no time is he giving you some you know you like some false hood, right? There is not trying to say something just because something needs to be said.

I mean, if you saying something is for a reason and IT has a purpose and he's when he gives you that look, he's looking at you for a specific reason. So IT hits that much harder. It's not it's not like some like TV movie from remember the titans where you are trying .

to make dramatic speech? Yeah no it's and he given sunday alo or whether is that that's his name, right?

Yeah not remember that yeah ah any given center yeah you got a nice right. But um yeah let .

me actually syrian. I got that. Does he have that kind of everybody .

is different. Everybody leads in their own way. Chip Kelly was different. Dog Peterson was different. And next syria is different. I do think that nick is very authentic and who is and I think that players see through bullshit you whether it's from coaches, whether it's from players, leaders and team, I mean, you can tell whether somebody's being real with you are not usually and um I think nick has he is authentically himself and um that's all you want and he's he keeps people accountable. He he keeps the team on like focused on the right things and constantly trying to work to get Better and he embraces who he is sounds .

like the ultimate later yeah.

that's that's what you want.

And one hundred percent. Let me, let me, let me ask you this then. Do you think that a coach that just has that the minor that fuck you to or like like, I think a guy like dan cambell has that I will fight you right now.

I think dad cambell in everything I see on heart knocks and what appears to be um is that he has an unbelieving motivator and that he's great to get and guys go in and great to get and guys dust up and that is an important part of Bobby in a head coach that is not obviously only thing about being yes.

I'm saying more so does the toughness kind of reflect and make a team tougher if if the coach has that aspect instead of like maybe a guy a small guy that doesn't have you know the foot all background or you know I mean.

I mean, I think it's certainly can, but i've also seen fake tough across I mean, there's words or only go so far, right? And that's why like you know, andy, I wouldn't classify him as this like conventionally like tough talking individual as A A coach, right. But he's very mentally tough. He's very died in and focus and methodical and his thinking that's a toughness that I think is more important in football. Now i'm not discarding I I love and and he doesn't .

say he'll kick you as but he's got that that look on his face like you can fit around to find out you know I mean.

I don't know dan camel enough. I love the way he talks to his team. I love all of his interviews, but I can't speak on the other part .

I talk I know I first came to the yeah and I .

played the lions and they for sure played up their ran around, played hard, played physical so they're certainly matching that intensity um but you know I think um again IT has to come off genuine when I watched them camel IT seems that comes off genuine and direct IT comes off genuine. If you're with the coach is not coming off genuine, it's going to then the players are going to bulch IT and then it's not going to be real.

So that's really what IT comes down to in the post game. Ro, quick, okay, my homes in the post game talked about, uh, his pf f ranking, but I don't know what IT is. Is that something you guys talk about often in kinda city? Do you think pf f gets IT right?

I don't know who's the topic. yeah. I mean, everybody, the thing is that these pf f greater are they're grading off of what they think the play should be, right? Whether you know we might have a specific fundamental or we might have a specific call that IT takes us into something else in the play doesn't work if if i'm making making IT makes sense, what you see, what you mean, the greater don't necessarily know the objective of the player, the fundamentals that were being taught.

They're kind of just looking at IT as a general play, and that's where I think it's not really actual grade performance like you will get in the facility because they just don't know what we're scheming. And that's where I think it's kind of smoke and meals. But other than that, a guy has a great game. I mean, obviously is going to have a higher grade and that you know I think that's always onna stand true. Um but I also think that there's agents out here paying guys to get higher grades than than others.

The names I have wondered that .

for years I ed one no double, no doubt my mind. Yes, no doubt my mind.

I don't think so. I, I, I choose to believe that pf f is more credible than that.

but I more credible yeah.

think I think if that was true, that would completely ruin their website. So I don't think that happens.

You think there's agent out here pay in these scouts to give higher grades so their players can make more money when they when IT comes down to the bargaining. You don't think there's that there's agents out here trying to slip IT away into a few times? I don't think so.

No, I don't. I think that there's agents trying. I think pf f, it's happening.

I just think .

you'll be so well either way. What I do think I think um I think P F, F does a good job with the information they have, right, which is just the film, but they can only grade on production that they see on the film. They don't know new answers of coaching, what guys are being taught.

They don't know the new answers of all the individual rules or what was called on the field. But I think they do do a decent job at judging windsor losses and things that are pretty transparent on the field. So I think what ends up happening because they don't have all of the information, I think where P, F, F usually gets IT right the most is on the extremes.

I think it's easy to tell whether you know it's called or not. If a guys kicking us or gitten as as kicked how they did, that's a pretty fair way to say IT. There's a lot of in between where it's a little bit ambiguous is that a loss is what was being called.

I think there's some I think in the middle ground, I don't know that the pf f grades mean as much, but I do think they do a pretty decent job telling who's getting their job done the best or who isn't getting their job done is fair enough. And the other thing I think, with pf f is the one thing that I always put a cavy out with their grading system is I don't know that IT and IT might truthful. I don't know a lot about how pf f grades things.

So i'll just say that to all the listeners i'm not an expert in and help pf f does things. But um I think that when you're just creating on production and you're not factory and either the difficulty of the job or um who you're playing against, right? So like, you know, if one tack who goes out and he shuts down know a defense of an that you know isn't really doing much right, he might get, you know, he has zero pressures.

But all the sudden lane Johnson play in clio mac and he gives one pressure to me like I think lane Johnson play Better because you played a harder guy. I'm giving love to my guy, lane john, right now. Um these are things that I think and you know I think certain offences guys just have harder job to drop back offences where you your past block in and your asked to do things are a lot harder, you know play action naked ds, things like that where it's nowhere near the difficulty level of what like a traditional drop out of is for an offense of line.

All in all, I think P F, F is a is a pretty good job on the extremes. I think it's it's probably you I don't want to say it's it's a good way for fans to gage without any knowledge of how players are doing, but it's not infallible. And I think that, that's where players that I think that's where players kind of struggle with the .

greeting system of valuable is the A B L A B L E. Can I get .

the origin anyways? I think that's what player is. Um see the problems with that as they know when P F F IT doesn't get IT right because they're in the meetings in the leg.

okay. Well, I can actually had a really good game. I don't see where they're getting that from. But anyways, all in all, I don't get to go website and they rate me really high. So I think is really good.

The season .

The annihilation have been partnering since two thousand and eighteen to bring quality sleep to a lead athletes.

It's for good reason. As super able champions, we know how important is for recovery to sleep in a great bed plus sleep number. Beds have great features, including the ability to .

adjust farmers sleep number. Smart beds show you your sleep quality every morning in the sleep number .

APP how did you coming up? Who doesn't love fresh new bedding or pillows? Or if you are in the market for a bed, if you haven't checked out a sleep number store? Now is a great time.

Let's get to the eagles verse vikings. You guys take him down twenty four seven, which was an action pack. First half. You guys came out strong in in the first quarter jail and obviously got in the own quick off to his best start. Man, I T know the last time the eagles were two in old men, but I it's got to be a good feeling.

yeah. I wish I could remember any of the starts of our seasons really well.

I me daily went twenty six for thirty one, three, thirty three touchdown wn and then are obviously two russia touchdowns.

the first quarter back an entire history to go for three, thirty three over eighty percent completions and rush for multiple touch nose to second game in a row of being dominant, pretty much mistake free lam, he had the one interception on the screen that was a fluke, went off the running back chains. yeah. But I think, man, he has been so doubt in these first two games he saved us against the troy.

This last game against sota. I felt like we were all click and offensive. I felt like especially in the first hf, you just talked about how andy talks about get not to a good fast start um especially when you when you lose the coin us and you receive to start the game. Um it's it's really important to start off good because you know you're going to get one less, one less position the second half.

So it's it's really important to get off to a fast start in those types of situations and right from the gig go, I felt the coaches had a great game plan, started out with a no huddle on the ball, empty set, spread them out that got them tired, IT away, got us tired. But, uh, I love when the deal, and I would rather have me and the deline tired than me in the deline fresh because when we're both tired, IT just turns into a lean match. This just say, let's just really know each other.

Nobody going to make any place. It's going to be good. We're going to let these skill guys write this one out be came .

in on you late drives now the difference see the difference of the demo well.

that sub that comes in those starters go out right around the forty airline, come back in on the that's like, no, i'm lucky. I don't deal that as .

much a little bit nickle a little bit in ickle, you'll get a fresh D B to come out there for the most part there out there more than I am. I'll i'll get to a playoff before db you get to play off. But I feel you do you get those pass rushes, those that the fresh d line, that's that's where teams are really great, you know, got the death of d line and no line.

The battles always want up front. But to talk more about jailed man, he came out quick as fast as as we were mentioning. I appreciated his confidence in the pocket. I recited his decision making. You look like you as he was just out there ball.

And he, I think when he, I don't want to say, struggles, but when it's not going on as smooth as he wants, get a little too calculated and that might be, you know what's what's the defences showing and things like that any time you tie a corner backs s feed up or you make A A A second or take late on his throws that's what you're trying to do is a defense, right? Is play with that rythm. But jAiling was he was smooth through the entire game and he was making great decisions with the ball and obviously is special with his feet.

Do you think there's any real comparison to to a mike vic? I think I think personally that mike vic kind of transcended this style a quarterback and that's really the only compares. I think jAiling is is a different player in terms of how he actually plays the game though.

Yeah I mean, there's been running quarterbacks before. I know not sure short. No, I don't think jane hurt his Michael vic. I think Michael vic was an unbelievably rare talent.

had a can for an ARM Helen.

But there just because they are both running courter backs that can also throw the ball doesn't mean they are the same player. I think that they both are are there are unique in their own ways. Uh, you just talked about jail and fear. More confident, the pogues. This is the first time he's had a whole off season in second off season with the .

same often from the year. It's crazy. I can only imagine i've had the same office for ten years. Obviously, it's grown, but I can only imagine jump into a new and every single year yeah and .

we have new place in this year, just like every year you're putting a new place. But this has been a year where he's really been able to continue to learn, continue to iron all these things out in. As you know, being confident, really a big part of being confident is being prepared, right? Nerves, nervousness or animosity.

A lot of time comes from not fully understanding what's about to happen, right? Read things over and over again when you know the progressions in and out, what coverage you're looking for, how you're looking to attack them when you've constantly ripped that over over again. IT is a lot easier to go out there and be confident deliver the ball.

And we're seeing that within the first two weeks. We saw all off season as well. So ah I could not be more proud of how javans played these first two weeks. And looking forward, I watching this also.

You can you can't dismiss all of that. And then you put on top of that you guys have some bowlers out on the football field to help them. Your office is just click in.

Everybody is is on on the same page. IT took a, took a few quarters or a few drive for A J to get his first this first reception. But obviously to once he gets go and then what is still mean? I've got to see him in the family room afterwards.

I'm like, do you just look good in game Green brother, you just, i'm not alive, man, you just, if fit you man, the swagger, the, the, the bill, the office, I think is more suitable to your know your skill set um they move, they move him around. You guys move around more than I think than what he was doing in tennessee. And then on top of that man, he's to sort more around him in terms of a supporting cast divantages out there.

You guys got dale's making huge place for you guys in between the hashes and assist. You know, it's cool to see everything clicking. And then obviously the philadephia crowd just go and nuts all game. Not very many booze. The only booze that I heard were at the ref this game, and that's always a good thing.

We had some unfortunate penalty, especially the second. Have the sold out and drives. And you know, philly fans are never shared and let you know what they think you. So I don't feel bad at all for the rescue boot up. Been there before and it's part of band.

And I like baby. During the monday, I brought a cast. They brought up that jAiling squad at six hundred pounds in college. You tell me this is a workout war, or you're doing anything like that, your fuck or workout war or men you're get after in the weight room and you, have you ever been I I feel like you were a six hundred pound squad. And guy, please, when I saw you, when I saw you in college, used that, used to get under the right first value, would bring your chest against the barbell like a maniac, just to get you in the right mindset. You would get under that thing and then you would do this like.

yeah, hit at the hip so I could get more activated. Yeah.

you had lifted up and then for whatever reason, you would hold your breath for like two minutes .

and that's good.

You did not breathe out that there were a few times that after you got done racking IT that you almost, you almost flex out. You almost flexed out.

Never happen. Seen those videos. I've seen those videos is never happened to me.

That's a full statement. And everybody driver is lying. I've never, at least twice I did .

not vision gone, might in for body lip vision gone.

I did almost do IT on the front squat, but that's because the bar was pressing and the corroded i've never done IT from from just a pure holding of my breath.

The world is put on direct.

First of all, that manuvre of holding your breath is actually called vulcar va manoa IT. Create more core attention. So you dig your breath in and you clean your court. A provides shock doctor.

shocked doctor told you that I remember that lesson. The old man, the mouthpiece there was that one mouth piece. Did you came home? You are aware that thing every single time you lift to wait.

You actually paul longer taught me that our string coaching college.

but you know else taught .

me lege paul longer legend .

when I was a when I .

was a rookie in the league and was the lockout year after I got drafted. I was working out at since anadi, and because there was a lockout year, all of the bengals were working out at since anadi. And I was fortunate gh to meet Andrew whitworth.

When was this since anadi big wind? And one of the first things which said how to stop a, he said, I pushed me and just let me push him and then what like this now pushed me you like, I tried to push that dude, he was like, a fucking wall could not move on. It's like that I have a program and I like, yeah, maybe think .

of is the baLance pants. I don't know I don't .

even know where you at, but all I thought was I said when I was six, nine, I don't know, three, forty three, I mean, huge monsters even being. And as I listen, I didn't say this at all. But in my head on, like with your six, nine, maybe holding your breath works step in the worry for you. But i'm pretty sure I have to get. But yeah, certainly extremely rare for courter .

backs to squats. Six hundred pounds.

yeah. And back to .

the initial question, pressed jailer .

was like a, like A, I don't know if he was like a competitive weight lifter, but he was a huge White lifter coming at a high school and last off season and I was actually lifted with him. He was still lifted me. We've dead lift in the same amount weight and I remember thinking, I don't know if this is good that the same type of lives um so I think he is a he's changed up his weight regimen.

I think he looks um still you know I think he's always going to be naturally just a muscle bound individual, especially in his lower body but he is a much more fluid and um he he he looks like he's put more emphasis this off season and throughout training cabin on everything on you know fluidity and athletic movements as opposed to just lifting heavy weight, which I think probably at this point his career once you have ready to have that foundation of strength, you know playing counter bank positions, about being fluid, it's about having good footMarks well, having hips that move in the right way. I think all of those things are more important than squat and six hundred pounds. And I think that that made him .

what difference .

on the field?

When is on the five yard line find out a way to get the ball the last night? Yes, when you run two.

three guys and that's where the six of your pound one comes IT that's fair. That's fair.

Talking about the vikings eagles game on monday night um under A A rivalry. Are we thinking that the we saw eagles, the eagles fans trolling I do in the kull chant in the, in the middle of the game, when they knew that they had the upper hand that was actually entire. I wanted to do IT, but I have friends on the biking, so I couldn't I couldn't get myself to take a full, full time but IT was IT was pretty good.

You guys think I mean, you guys met up with him in the eighteen nc championship game. Um I was at that great game, cold, but great game. Um yes, is you you think there is a little heater rivalry between you guys?

No, I I think that that um I mean whenever you're playing an indivisible ppo ent that you think is good, which I do think the vikings are a very good team. I think they're a great defense. I think they are office to stack.

I think they have great playmakers. I think that they're going to be one of the Better teams in the NFC. So whenever you're playing a team that you think is really good, it's kind of like a rivalry.

But I think that that rivalry probably is more for the fans that has been building up ever since that NFC championship game from two thousand and eighteen. Um I guess we have been two thousand seventeen six and two thousand and eighteen was that when the championship game was but um there was heated blood for that one. The minnesota a fans came in cocky. They went to the rocky steps, put like a minnesota jersey on rocky I mean.

sten minute, where the cards .

that are you .

can anybody guards around the rocky statue as a heavy security?

You can listen, listen it's IT is I for and I uh you know ah justice when IT comes to the iraqi statue. You can do whatever you want, but you Better be willing to take the hits and be held accountable for whatever happens. A rocky alright. I think minnesota has this like hunky door midwest feeling that like, oh, we just came in there and they were rude to us. That is that you guys to do in the school chain and you guys were putting stuff on iraq ki steps and in the statue, you guys were making .

this an animal.

Well, i'm just in you guys weren't without any type of uh, you know fault for a antagonizing the situation. Now the eagles fans probably in a little aggressive from some of the things i've heard there might have been things. Knowing the buses, I think we can probably do a Better job of a keeping IT a little bit more a little .

as you ask you fill fans to clean IT up is a fucking joke. Okay, that that I get a fuck that I can say.

You come into the link for an nsc chap chip game and you're taught the eagle space I yeah I don't know me say, you know what you get yourself into and then you can be after that's like when you're in the back seat, we sit on a road trip and you would anti ze me and then i'd hit you and then that and then I didn't trouble and bush IT you techniques the whole situation and do you like, oh, what's going on? Why are you doing this? Is fucking .

composure decision okay? They're just words you don't have to .

throw face yeah well, either way, I I got a ton of respect for the minnesota viking football team and their fan base where i'm fun right now. Um I think the eagles fans are obviously extremely vocal fbs and if we're we're getting into trash talking, I don't know that there's a Better fan base you want to go into one of those battles within the field of eagles fans.

one hundred percent, one hundred percent. I'll give you guys that you guys definitely Carry the trophy. The east .

of mentality, it's a right to pass is growing up and filled alphy.

I'm sure I I was thinking about this. I was watching the game. One of my favorite matches of the night was jefferson versus slay. That was in hats off to slay jeff's not and easy cover. And there were .

vers in the league.

I mean, best road runners i've ever seen absolutely can go get the ball fast and slay. Was there were a few routes that he ran form. I don't know he was scheme or if he just had to take on on a few the routes. And I know that the red zone pick that. I mean, he jumped the post, you know, and he was a.

he drove a pick right before. That was.

he dropped to pick. I've gotto pick the next very play. Yeah, no, that was the second one.

I am what I was talking about first. Yeah, the first one, he just ran the reform. The second one, curt, I ve got to give my guy traits. I'm not sure what the communication was there, but IT looked like he was terribly ly thrown terribly short. But and he just added to his monday night resume.

I don't know about kurt monday record, but I do know that slay is only proving that he's, if not the best, I mean, certainly one of the best corners, one hundred percent to me, he's the best. Specially after watching what happened last night, I tred to argue that now.

yeah, was fun to watch me. Watch answer what outcome would be but I definitely, I do, I do. I love, I love going to guess the best man and let me see, let me get a shot out of man. But all the all the respect in the world for i'm not saying anything like that. But no, it's fun going to against the best love those battles.

Justin jephson was talking a lot of trash lead up to the game about how we want to put up big numbers. So lay knew he was going to have to have a hell of a game that he was going to have to be ready because, you know that's obviously their premier target. And he entered the bell and then sum had a topics and ah I don't know how many past by gbs, but traumatically came from slave.

So obviously I was I was rock in the six two at the link which is awesome to see everybody because you don't see fan bases really where in the old limon jerseys every every stage we go into. I'm not even sure if they sell them on on every single team um but let alone you see the six two is all throughout the stadium.

I always appreciate that man just get show shown the online love is always is always ganged but um playing together I was I was I was there just for support but IT makes people think, you know has playing together ever became like A A thought or a possibility in our heads that IT has not ever been close? Me personally, I think that close to IT was ever going to be in the nf, fl. At least knowing that we played high school in college together.

The closer was ever going to be was the the two thousand and thirty draft where the eagles, too exact. It's over me. Then I was bt. Heard, i'm still bt. Heard about that was what IT worked out for everybody.

IT did IT shared exec was not the wrong pic, obviously helped you guys win a lot of games, the most career, most single season receptions yeah record holder out that I can say enough about acts. But but yeah, no. Give that opportunity to to play with you in the league has always been something, always sleep. You know, I want to say, dream about what yeah i've played with you on every single level of football so um that was definite something that would .

have been cool yeah I mean, I think we were both upset when the on draft night when that happened. But um IT ended up working out for everybody's accords, ended up being in a franchise best tight end.

Um I mean, I think the numbers he put up while I was here, we're unbelievable including in a super boy had a career game where we had A A pivotal touchdown and a four down conversion touch down and besides that was just outstanding teammate, friend and member of the field of fu community. Um and I think you worked out pretty good for you. If I were were to uh say myself, I think you would probably agree things have worked out decent in kinds of city for you.

So um good to to be happier or ten years later.

Yeah we really haven't gotten the opportunity. I think you know we both been really, really fortunate to be with the same franchise and and and be appreciated whereat. And it's it's hard to leave um a franchise when you when you feel that amount of respect and being given to you. And I think um we really have nothing to do IT. I can't imagine .

playing anywhere else became the city. I'm shirts the same .

with peloton has a unique to keep you on track to your goals no matter what season of life you're in and at least .

we know how chAllenging IT could be to adapt your fitness needs to your busy schedule, especially during the nfl season.

Pelton has been a great tool to help me adept my routines in my busy schedule of traveling for money, in my football, podcasting, parenting and everything else I go on on this year. Pellet is great for. When you're traveling between games at the gym, or when you just need a moment to recover.

find your push, find your power with pilon at one pala 点 com。

That's right. Again, that's one pala com. Hey, i'm ryan als recently, I S meant mobile legal team. If big wireless companies are allowed to raise Prices .

due to inflation, they said yes and then when I asked if raising Prices technical .

violates those honest to your contracts, they said, what the are you talking about you in saying hollywood? So to recap, we're cutting the Price of men unlimited from thirty dollars a month to just fifteen dollars a month.

Give you to try mid mobile dock clash sch forty dollars fifty let's get into the next topic alright huge complex for the um the theme of the week and IT starts off the Browns giving up thirty points to the jets in the final two minutes. We're both from client. So where Brown's fans, so that's under under.

under the table, we're definite Brown's fans.

I don't even think it's I mean, I guess you have to be under the table because the Brown are still afc yeah right for me doesn't really impact. I hope the Browns go to shrubby every year outside of the chiefs um but um yeah I think you know it's always we always want the brands to do well.

So um yeah they blow a big lead uh, to the jets, laid the ravens, lose a twenty one point lead here and effort to the dolphins, which was one of the most believe that I see I mean, my gosh, I member alive. You only get the certain games at a regional for me because I don't have the red zone and all these other things. You can get all the games at once.

So i'm keep in, track out my phone, all these other games. I thought the ravel's game was sealed like I was done. I look back all the son about what they happened and watching .

the highlights .

that I I mean to, yeah, yeah, I don't just the guy they wanted to him but yeah.

I mean, they were White as open but yeah, no, I really.

And when we talked about, you know, the dolphins often holy calm and they .

got some firepower yeah and .

then obviously, the raters lost the twenty point lead to the cardinals in an overtime loss.

Wow, did not see that won't come. And out of all those games, obviously the score between the ravens and miami was that looked like a sealed, see you the game, but the raters to lose a twenty point lead to team that we just played IT. I mean, shut out to the cardinals show in some heart, you know, coming through, finding away at the end of games that they had a two point conversion after a time out, that they ended up getting a delay a game.

So they had a two point conversion from the seven yard line, right? And they A J Green in the back of the end zone. IT was I mean, IT was IT was full of excitement.

If you're just a fan washing, obviously, if you're the raters, you just kid and hit with diggs in the side that raters come out over time. Get a big stop. Our march in the ball downed eld. And then a guys trying to give every effort, every answer, effort that he came by giving north one hundred and fro and I S S huge playmaker.

I think here's the first round draft c last year came the city guy comes in and lays the wood and share IT off ball pops right out and game sealed by a fumble recovery to the house in it's in it's in los vegas. You can there's a angle on the field. There's a angle on the field where you can see the rater fans in the background while number seven, I forget his name is run in the back and IT is just hard break and it's just mother fuck.

How do we .

get here?

right? yeah. What do you think leads to is this I be curious if are there more like big blown leads and come backs early in the season? Do you think I want to if that's a trend?

That's that's a great question. I mean, we are talking about IT earlier that I think handling adversity is something that you have to grow every single year. You know you might have leaders that you know how to handle situation like that, you kind of follow suit. But at the same time, you're gonna to you know see how everybody reacts in those situations and regroup and and these .

are also situations and a lot of times you haven't done yet, right? Like most of these teams haven't run a form in in an Operation the entire offseason. So of the said now you're getting a new situation where you're seeing terrible run looks and you have to try a manufacture ways to end the game out. Two minute drill, you rep two minute drills all the time, all of season. But it's not alive.

It's not when it's crucial, right?

Yeah and in the defensive against you're offence you're not seeing and now of something you're out there, you're run incredibly simple coverage trying to face guys like jAiling water to and free thread and then all the certain is before you know that they put up twenty one points in a matter of minutes. Um so I got to think that this I think that that probably I i'll be curious what the trend was.

Uh, if this is something that teams do with a lot, I think you're right. I think university of something you have to learn how to fight through and the best teams find ways to get things done in times when, uh, when it's not easy and when they need to get done. Yeah uh, those end up being the teams and end up plane.

Late in the january and february, the teams are able to weather storms. The teams that are able to uh, stop will mention the teams that are able to uh, you know finish close games when IT matters. Those are the teams end up being the best teams, usually one hundred .

percent with your brother.

Do you think momentum is real?

One one thousand percent momentum on a farm, believe that momentum is, I want to say everything but that energy, that feeling that energy of of you know success of oh, we got this ah you really mean because if you don't have moment, i'm now doubt may creep in start questioning some things. You start looking at how other guys are react into things if it's not high energy, i'm a big either you are fine nor you're a drain baby.

Either you are giving somebody life or you're taking IT out of him. And I need that momentum and I need that high energy. I need that that that big time play that gets the d that gets everybody going and gets the gets the juices going. And I pride of myself on trying to make that play for us to get that momentum because I think it's such a big deal.

Yeah, there was an article written, I think, last december by David hail that basically simul menu. Ms, not real. I could not. First, I just could not.

What does David do other than right?

I don't know. I don't know. They they have to be understood you um I maybe assured, but I think that and play the game knows that mobile is is for sure something that you feel out there, especially when you're at home, especially when the crowds with you energy is real, right?

And when things are going a certain way, IT tends the snowball tends to continue to happen. Um and the energy you can people feed off of each other, teammates feed off of each other moments is without a doubt, in my opinion. Uh uh you know it's it's almost palled when it's when it's really clicking.

You can just feel things sad. I'm palpable at palace like it's tasteful. I got to work out my vocation .

this this week.

I didn't sleep much. I just played a monday night. So I my vocab is is off today but in particular bubble men. And I think, uh, there's crucial times in a game where that you can build momentum or can uh IT can snowball at the hand and that's uh, at the beginning and ends of half.

Are they getting a good start to have and finishing a half end up being crucial moments of the game, and they end up setting the tone for how IT goes of you. If you score right before half, that is such a big feeling for the office and for the team. If you get off to a good start, open up the game. If we already talked to that earlier, that's a big momentum.

Tones set right away automatically puts the pressure on the other team but that being said, when I will agree with David hail is that the best teams find a way to whether those storms, right, we just talked about that um the ability to uh stay focus locked in when you talked about earlier, where you can't let all of this outside energy and feeling of pressure dictate how you're about to going on the field. The best teams find a way did you stay right here even with that, do your job, get out there. And then if you stay right there, when the place there to be made.

you'll make the play. You'll get that energy out of making that play and get out of making that play and with your brother. So the bears go to shock on on the goal line verse the packers late in the game, down fourteen with eight twelve left ball inside the one airline, fourth in goal.

You want to talk about big time plays um goal line offences. Man, yeah it's a there's always there's always that kind of just question. Do you go big? Do you kind of spread IT out even more known? That is all you need is a short completion. Um I think I think I can get a little complicated down there. I think I try some teams try and get a little too creative, a little too cute to say.

don't even get me started. Do not even get me started. I if you put IT up, let's see, hear. But if you have game on the line forth and one on the goal line, what player you run in, there's only one right answer.

Roll out, i'm going roll out yeah roll back back corbeck. I let a courtot c give a guy whose whose playmaker the ball in his hands not in the pocket and have a concept attached to IT where you got guys fly and everywhere um i'm a big believer. I am not mad at them going shock on, I think, giving an athletic courtier c like fields vision on the defense the entire time, sometimes being a drop back courter back didn't underside.

There's times where you just turn your back to the defense. And I think that's a critical play where I would like my counter back or my playmaker who makes shit shake even when you know it's not the right call or they got us, you know that defensives right in the right blitz or something. Um keeping his eyes on the defense in the backfield, I think, is a safe move. I don't actually don't know what play they ran.

but I don't care what they ran. They didn't run the right play. There's only one correct answer and that's because this is the highest percentage chance of getting one yard and that's cordia nee.

cordia nee and IT .

blows my mind. How many teams do not run a fucking cortege? Sneak with one? God, dam yard. What the fuck are you doing? It's a night.

a ninety two .

percent change. There is not a play in the playbook that has a higher percentage chance of working the court of speak and all of you guys that throws and catch the ball. Nobody ever fucking thinks about IT.

It's the most obvious answer. This is they can only stop IT if they go all out to stop IT if they all some marine, they have six fat guys inside trying to stop IT, and then you have other shit wide open. IT is mind blowing to me. How many people forget about cordia tion? So what?

So what if they go summer? If they go summer, different. They pack. They packed eight gaps. They put a guy right over you. What what do we have an alert on IT? Or do we given the counter back to peace to be able to get out of this shit?

Even, first of all, I don't want to give up strategy, but okay, but even if they go all out, the chances of them stopped in IT for a yard are so small, even if they all some marine, the play is an astronomically higher percent chance than anything else. You going to call it's ninety seven percent. It's ninety a cause you want to talk about analytics. This is the most, this is the most fucked up analytic in the world that teams miss routinely.

I should go with you list. We had to get away from IT we had to get away from because our court back was in the side of his side of his leg. Okay, I was looking, I was looking starring directly at pat, laying on the ground, just pointing at his knee and his nee cap in the side. I was looking at our life.

One of so that is that so for those elision is nobody could get .

that I couldn't even look at IT was grow some dude I thought he was over form.

So that is one good reason natron kotov c neck is if you have a courtot's c who has weird hips that move in an oddly, and for some reason, he hurts his knee running cortex only time. I've never seen a corner .

bag of herman. I've never seen that injury ever. My life. okay. I was the one I was pat I heard .

in the cube stakes. So I guess I understand why you don't want to run IT with pat. But crazy, yeah, I don't want to give up. I mean, I certainly feel very strong about cordia cci set of .

the people get the first down on that, by the way.

ninety seven percent .

change .

working.

What is this is .

one of the things i'm very big. I think it's such an underutilized play when it's a yarder less in the nfl, buck says Brown, new orleans, brady and of more john at each other mike Evans jumps into IT to protect tom, and all of a sudden he getting tossed.

He says, protecting time. These two let more. And events have had beef before. I just excuse to be able to tear off for him like he was.

He was waiting for that one moment to be able to and let up am a fan of all three in these guys let a more clever and guy obviously to brides. Absolutely amazing. And that mike Evans is a stud, been the most consistent receiver since he's been in the league.

Um and he's I think personally, they had beef and he was just like that moment IT was just a flip of the switch. He just instinctively he he just went into like hunt mode and he he had he had top of that. You know you always want to be there for you guys but at the same time, I don't I didn't see lot more, you know, push or I didn't see a lot of more, you know, doing anything physical of time. So it's like at what point are you just like, oh, I had a defend them well.

whether it's real or lay them out? yes. I mean, if if it's not the reason if it's not the real reason I did IT, it's a great good out of jail free card if you want to get if you get a personal file for fighting and the coaches like, what in the help are you doing?

I'm different. I'm different in tambra. good. Take that every day of the week, right?

Defending the counter back is a get in a jail free card. Why is the hell of you? But I got he, uh, he hit jail. Good job. And to get out a jeffrey card always got to protect the court.

I respect IT. I'm not saying I don't respect the move. I just think that I was more than exactly what you just said.

You get out of jail. Free carbon veteran, rest day time. Brady comes out and reportedly every winds that day for all the, for all the old geysers on the team. I would have definite been put in that boat. Amy, you get, are you a bad day guy?

What I have to be because I get Better and rest on wednesday. Um I am. I have no choice but to be in full support of this.

Um just when I thought we were tarter .

than everybody, this was taking days off. We still go out there. We're still out of practice.

But yeah, we get some veteran rest days for me. I think i'm trying to think who else gets at lane Johnson? See, i'm cool .

of brady in IT because he's forty plus. He's got six rings, seven, however many is got, you know.

proved four. I want to be thirty five in november. Just, I play center, I play every snap.

I don't get a playoffs out there. ill. I will say this. I used to be firmly against this, uh, and I didn't think especially at a position of communication, right? Like part of my, part of my job S S not just doing my job. Part of my job is making sure that everybody else is on the same page and what's and everything is being .

communicated ability .

here yeah that not just that, everything's being communicated and and and everybody else knows what they're supposed to do off of that communication yeah so the courtot c and center or two positions that control a lot of that communications. So it's hard IT was hard for me to find them not being out there in handling. That said, I think, you know, we went to some of these.

I finally, I talked into IT by some of the strange coaches coming to filled out here and saying, listen, Jason, this is going to really help you. We've done this with the rams. We know that this is going to make a meaningful impact on your legs. Will you please just stride out and um I started doing IT and I like a life much Better on game day so we've kept doit .

um you you definitely felt the difference one thousand percent.

You don't feel a difference when you guys go to walk through wednesdays later in the year.

I feel Better on wednesday.

Maybe you still have Young legs, but i'm told you I think without question IT is made an impact on my legs um and IT was something I was vividly against uh even just three years ago and I have been swayed ah as a veteran player that it's probably in my best interest to uh take some of these rest days as as much as IT as much as IT pains me and not be out on the field and not to be out there with my t mates. I've been talked into a being the best thing, uh, for the team and for me.

So uh, guys easily persuade cannot for them not being in practice. I have to get the reps. I have to be to be clear.

we don't have, we don't have the whole day off.

No, no, no. Yeah I I get i'm more just talking about practice and actually running you doing doing all the physical things in practice that you would do, that would get you tired, that would put miles on your legs, that you know, things like that I could please get that I I need those rips. I need that full speed tempo.

I think when we go to I think when we go to kind of that that walk through tempo later on in the year to help us save our legs, I feel like that as rest day as i'll ever get. You know, I mean, like I think that all at least be out there on the field, certain rest. I might not get all the reps that I would in a game.

There's other guys that need those reps to in case something does happen. So it's it's a good way to um get the Young guys more eliminated. Um but at the same time, I know what i'm practicing and that play looks good. Coach read likes that play and i'm trying to get the things trying to get the things down up on sunday.

Well, I mean this is a hot topic. I mean this whole concept of rest, whether the training camp, the season, the N B A of the certain having rest is mean um the idea of a of trying to keep guys fresh and professional sports is change so drastically over the past, even just two three years. Um you know I don't know what the right answer is, to be honest with you.

I think those benefits obviously to practicing in those benefits. interesting. And um I just yeah it's it's it's a hard one to really know what the right answer is. I know that my legs feel Better on game day. Haven't gone to this, but two or three years ago I was in the exact same position as you so i'll be waiting for two years from .

now when you tell me thank I am get rest days .

we'll see all right time for our new heights. Kelsey stamp of the week um I think we finally are kind of narrow in in what we want this to be. Last week we kind of made IT more like a player of the White type thing and .

um this nothing forwards .

yeah that's all over the place. I think what really gets us fired up as players in the league is when you watch somebody else who hasn't really gotten that credit yet or hasn't gotten that shine yet, go ahead and and make a play that separate themselves. Um you I think the end feels amazing, man.

You're dealing with guys who are quite literally getting the opportunity to realized the dreams that they've had since they've been kids every single day. Guys are going out there and these are this they're playing a game that you know, this is what they wanted to do their whole lives, and they're finally on the biggest stage in the world. And there is nothing greater in the nfl than watching a guy go out there and make a huge play.

And all the sun, millions of people know that guys name. So for this week, my new heights step, the week goes to the Watson. I'm going to do both things.

I'm going to give you to both of them. Just watch in jail Watson in canada city. Both of those guys making huge plays at the end of the game .

to the biggest place, the game.

those were the biggest place, the big six. And that touched down coming out of the second coming out of the second half. Um those ended up being the crucial moments that ultimately LED you guys being two and no and men. I love IT when guys make place like that. But yeah.

Watson, what jAiling is just a man, my guys. I'm going with my amy quarter back to a coming through all the scrutiny over the off season, all the speculation with the Terry podcast and you know is he able to get the ball downfield to these species? Is he able to lead his team to Victory? No one.

Last year, there were times where they took him out in the most critical moments and put like a veteran courter back in there, right in face. Patrick s, so it's like for him to be down twenty one and to have that come back, uh, in the fashion that he did IT ah go on up top to the two big guys. Um I was I was happy for him. I was happy as healthful especially guess the great ravings defense .

like that yeah tremendous. I mean put six touch down up in one half. Um I don't a thousand N F O record miami record what I was but IT was insane the second half of his head and um you know if you can close games out like that is a great quarterback and have the power to do that under critical situations.

Uh yeah, that answers allow the questions around to a great job. Chiefs at the colts next week, one P M game. Colts have have been struggling little bit .

to start the season off, caught up in the B S, cut up in the B S. men. That is a that is a very well coach team that they have star started line up and on the defense asy the ball offence is very run heavy um but they got I think Michael pitmen junior, I think that his name stud.

Um so a veteran correct c that's one a lot of games. Um so I expect to play a very motivational team and just to go in there with with the mentality of getting the job done, we're going to be in a parfit for and it's in their house uh inDiana is is a crazy environment in the dome. Uh the nap gets gets rock and form and share enough. Can't let this game make you feel at this.

Yeah you are going to get the best cuts you can get one hundred .

percent and and on film and the players that they have.

that's a very good team looking for their first win. This is a huge game for the colts. You're getting a fired up coaching staff, Frank.

right? All those guys are going to be doing everything they can possibly to get this first win. Ah it's going to be hungry. team. This is going to be an awesome game to keep our eye.

They have a lot of guys. They are gonna get the job done. You know professionals in the building, veteran courter back um being windless is obviously how with how good they are on paper um is probably stinging them right now real bad.

So it's like, you know you're going to get that team to come out with their backs against the wall and giving you their best shot. You know not saying that they would otherwise, but it's definitely motivation form at this point. No, no.

So we know we can can come in slack man and IT starts during the week, maybe just take care day by day. And what you can what you can control during the week, get the body rest and and know that you're going to be for a four quarter fight. Men, eagles and commanders, one P M, eastern.

And first, the visionary game playing former counter back carson wins. Obviously he's A A friend of years, a guy, a guide that you've played your tail off with um that legende run a super ball run. He was the culprit for the for the majority part of that season, men to make a play after play.

Have you faced them already? Have you played him? Yes.

and he is not. No, I I haven played carson. Outside of being estimates be the first kind of wish I was in the link for the first go around but it's going to be in washington um and i've already text them today. You know I think i'm looking forward to see him again. He was a great friend and great teammate while using phildee fia.

Um and this is like it's it's a bit of of a quality because on one one you know yeah you want I want cars to play a well and I wanted to do well, but I certainly don't want to play good on sunday and I want him to to lose. So um you know I think you know i'm i'm always room for that guy. Um I think um you unfortunately things didn't end well and fill in alpha forum ah you know got hurt after having an MVP like season when up going on when in the super bowl and then after that was he felt like, you know he's always just trying to come back from injuries .

first the knee and I was back has been up your battle .

ever sense that super ball running yeah and like as the teams started to get a little bit worse and started to lose some players know I just kind of fade a downhill. And um you know I thought he played well in the last year outside of that that last game at the end. Well.

he absolutely LED IT just handed IT off every other play. IT was awesome. Have the leading russia in the league, of course, that court backed to be playing great men. So I asked this then. The eagles were kind showing rigger last night how much they appreciated him in his time in in filly.

Obviously, there were something said when he left felly, but do you think that carsons wins gets that fair? You know, salute when he comes back to failure, he plays against the eagles. Are the eagles fan base respect in IT or as IT just like how what ended was just, you know.

IT was a bad ending um whenever you know you you're clearly wanting out of the city, I feel like it's you're in a rough spot as a player. There are still a lot of fans in philly to know appreciate carson and especially who he was as a person into the community uh you know he he's is a great .

person I thought when jerseys in the link on monday night.

i'll tell you there are still people in pennsylvania for sure ah they they will always be carson's fans and that being said, if I was a betting man, I think when he comes back to the link in the future um IT will probably not be to a ring amount pause although I hope that is how would you .

best describe playing with carson man? Because from kind of a fans point of view, at least from what I saw is very it's kind of spread because almost like he was controlled chaos. He like he's iza waller, don't give me wrong. Like when that balls snapped, he has the ability to make make some shit shake. But IT was never to me like he had full control over the over what was going on out there.

I think your carson is an incredibly smart player. He was a guy that was a pleasure to game plan with and play with. Whenever ver, you're dealing with a guy the. As competitive as he is and doesn't want to accept a negative play. You're going to get times where IT ends up being magical or something happens that yeah you know you didn't .

expect like Jason Kelsey pulling .

you out of A A bird yeah yeah or you're going to get times where you kind of run into a sac or you h extend to play and you don't throw the ball away. You know yeah I think carson is such a competitive person that it's hard for him to just know the ball away or dirt ball and move on to the next and um those have gotten him in the trouble in the best but they've also been some of his biggest highlights career.

So it's tough to be uh critical of that. And that's something whenever you deal with a guy that is um as spontaneous as he is, you is it's hard to know whether you want to die that back or whether you want to let him keep doing that. And really the answer, if it's working, keep doing if it's not, we had to kind of that with what IT comes down to.

I always love playing. Those kind of cordoba s are the type I love playing with.

by the way. So yeah, I mean, pat is about a spontaneous and creative, as you can get as a quarterback, one thousand percent. And even pat, at times like as unbelieved will see, is sometimes when he does that, IT leads the some of the like, his downfalls of games, right? Like nobody's perfect. One hundred percent of the time.

Pat is in my probably .

the best quality.

Ninety two percent change the test.

Like he's he's clearly you know in the premier level of cardiac play in the nfl. But whenever you're dealing with somebody that is try to extend a play trying to make happened, you are also going to get negatives of those at times. That's just the inevitability of that situation.

And you are right. The first time is the best of back and the.

well, not so far. Jane hurt says something to say about that. But yeah.

we had a good game. I had a good game. Two good games, two games you to know to and know, you know, we shall see what happens in week three. Baby.
