Epo de. This one is part one. Part two is going to be coming out next monday.

So make sure you're ready for that. The draft is coming up traf, and we're going to do this thing. That's right. But today we're going to talk about getting out the house with travis and his first pitch OK come out picture. I know you want to call that whenever you want to call you going to touch on draft week as a veteran players, we're going to talk to an influential since and becton alarm and nfl defensive rookie of the year, use gardener and see what it's like to be a top ten pick in the draft. And as always, we're got to get the first things first, which is there was still top five in sports .

podcast .

spotify so thank you ninety two percent for listening every week and are continuing to make this uh podcast um go yeah I know we enjoy but you guys are the ones that make IT go if you want to make I do。 Do we think it's helped that we become somewhat of a basketball show, obvious ly NBA playoff going on in our debate of whether an n fell player complain, the NBA in vivers a has taken the world by storm, thanks to mr. Paul, George, tim in in.

And paul agreed with me. I don't know you saw the video. He definitely thinks that he could play receiver or tied in in the nfl. And he definitely thinks that there is not a nfl player .

that could point me IT .

not a single one. Um that's what the video said to me that .

I yeah I was unfortunate, unfortunately, to hear out a paul.

Do you think paul could play in the end of you?

Yeah, probably. I haven't seen him run. I haven't seen him sprint. Yeah, you know me I feel like best of one of the biggest things as as a wide receiver you have to become .

more the sprinter who would una ah .

just being being being able to jump is one thing, but being able to actually run because everything I feel like a rob running is based off of the deep threat. You ve got to be able what to have that in the bag.

but he could just go in on the two yard line and do fade and. But that's a that's a big ruster spot to tire for just that. But I mean, if it's a guarantee, does i'm doing that all day?

I would also love to you see how guys mentality change when you put pads on because it's one thing to do one out. It's one thing to do one on one routes with no pads on, but it's another thing to do routes with pads on.

If you get just more.

it's easier without pets. There's nothing to grab. There's nothing to that you can try and put your hands on me, but it's like there's not a lot of the surface area. This isn't the same.

especially you take a shirt off. Hard to get hold you I absolutely hate trying to black people without short .

of present yeah so so yeah. And on top of that, it's a whole lot harder to run with pads on. It's a lot harder to go up and trying catch ball with a helmet in shower pad zone and say a whole lot harder. But IT is a difference if you're not used to IT. I'm also just just in facts out there that I think might come to into the equation that, paul, I do not have thought about that visit.

Let's revisit your stance because I don't know where I thought you were just on of the opinion that they are nfl guys that, that could be roles in the MBA thousand.

and I still stand by that.

Do you think it's look .

at guys in the MBA, I looky guys in the NBA. I'm not going to start naming naming, but I like that guy isn't blowing my mind with athleticism, but not you're telling me that there's cash I don't want to throw something be sexy sucks .

and who cares that's the .

thing he doesn't suck is just you look at me is like you the guy works as as off, sure he's smart and he doesn't fuck IT up.

I mean, there are all good traits. I've seen no problem with a guy like that way.

exactly. You're telling me that Matthew delights a there's not a honor. Matthew deliver was in any me. That's exactly .

why .

I don't want to do because delay as a year. Baby, I know delhi got one. I love delhi. You are on sand but you can tell me everyone's watching in delhi and me and like, yeah no, everybody he's looking at a daily like, I mean, I might be he looks like the guy of the street.

I don't think you're delhi. I don't think you're given dell enough credit. I think that is good.

He had, you know what, he had heart fucked and heart. He doesn't get a heart and he played smart.

Do you think delhi could play in the nfl, get good to july? I can place difference now he's good.

good, good defence .

and basketball. If you got good feet and and you can move, you think you playing say you don't think he's playing in offence. The a little slot receiver maybe I mean, don't forget either .

how to is that receiver you're going to have more wiggle I just more of a why are we going in on delhi right now? We feel bad. I shouldn't never even set this fucking and name delhi.

Matthew, I love you. Matthew. Thank you for bringing into chAmber ship .

to clean yeah, I just so back to your stand. Do you think it's easier for nfl players to go and play in the NBA? Or are you just say that I can be done?

Which one.

which one do you think easier? N F, L to N, B A or N B A to N F L, which which like professional sport org ization has more guys that could transfer to .

the other organization in play. I see that .

is so much goes into IT. I don't there are so many M B A players that I think if they would have been playing football for even just two or three years, they could play in the interview name. One chick ono there is retired when he was playing. You don't think shack to play in the end of the, you legitimately think shack could play the of them.

The brick is bad is to the leagues you d been .

the name one i'm going to pick the most obvious answer receiver titan difference of them like nobody is blocking them on the fucker taking a big me caught there long arms stand who's black in that to walk you right and to .

the court this is right I can't even argue that thanking .

you just put manuel wl up there is blocking in at least three kicks season despite stand .

and they're going like this bogus .

you don't think request book .

now you speak up about do he's got that dog mentality is plays a physical game. I can see where we know A I could play football.

I just don't think you even close. Like even if there was by far.

like I would say the transition is probably easier for baseball. Two NBA, I will say that, wait, no bashall to the nfl. But I still think there is guys athletic enough in the nfl that if they would just chose that out, they would have found their way onto a team.

So so you do think it's easier. Amb nfl, you just don't believe as strongly as I do that no nfl player could play in the NBA that is create. I just trying to clear that up. Rather, we got that cleared up the end of actually treat IT out a picture travel company based all and we're going to show right now.

you will see is a big body that can play well both inside. And I just play wherever I get the ball. I mean, I I can't do IT out without for the guys on the floor. I mean, I get the ball. And a team have been .

a long time, and i've seen your face look.

Got a feeling baby that actually going crazy and we're the very active when you need IT.

You did get reply from somebody and clever heights who apparently knows the big ety from his actual certain skin days on the court treat ted out at t. Elsa used to go crazy at the denison park growing up in clean heights, if you know you know yeah, I mean, who at Denny part all the time did you go right to play and across the denser part to play in a basketball?

Exactly to watch .

me play. But if you just go play basketball and what that was, only you be a dance apart.

Well, I, I, mom and dad, we're going to leave in in at the house. So I had to come up there. I was gonna watch. You guys is steam old, some little kids. I was about to go.

My, me was in the other part of town.

was here, and I never got to. My bike. Wasn't going on. F, R.

now was thirty four four minute bike idea.

exactly. So I was more of A, I was more of a cover land park, cane park. Ah, every now and then you go down to you kally could shut out all the clever part. I was, I was a baller as a kid man. I was trying to every single .

parking eight .

partition that right now.

Well, moving on to maybe the biggest news of the week. Mom in the holiday, SHE beats at us SHE SHE beat us, the can, but he is in there. The the jersey and the shoes are what a glorious, but IT just a glorious jersey. I hate what IT represents, but mom, i'm so happy for you're a happy that you're in .

the I hate what he represents.

I hate what he represents or the memories that IT delicate but i'm really happy for your mom you made a mom before uncle down before grandpa, definitely before dead. Um you're in IT. Where to go, mom, sit out of mom and .

and holding them down for all the moms in the world. She's only mom and can right now. So fully she's shreveport ly. She's just trail blazed more mothers to to get into the pro foobar hallifax.

So mom shoes made IT in the end. Holy fame. Do you think your shoes made IT in the hole?

fame? I've had my shoes in the hall film. I've had my clears in the half film before. Yeah, for which game IT .

was was a record setting. Cattle.

I think you might have been one of the last things now.

Are you saying this right now that you beat mom into the whole fame? Is that why you're bring up the story?

Have been room .

before. Jason.

Jason.

if I told him no.

Keep playing.

They, they, my jacket from the members sprayed that I war for the speech.

Do you told them? No.

and I can't fuck and have. That is mine. Why would I give that to the bunch of? No, you don't get another one made.

No, I mean, well.

they I could done that, but they not have the real thing that's IT in a trash bag of my basement.

Try playing.

He doesn't even .

may have been on display. That's great. But the principle .

things I I let enough people borrow things in third grade to know that you never let him. Boss m, you're not wants to give up.

You are your boss.

The season is in full swing and that's why we need to tell you about our special hook up for today's sponsor, seki.

matter once again, that's code new heights for ten percent .

off the farmer's dog. We love our dogs. That's right. They complete us. And we all want piece of mind that we're doing the best we can to help ensure that they're healthy and happy.

The farm er's dog makes them, delivers fresh, healthy dog food. Right to your door is developed to buy vest, nutritionally baLanced, made from real meat, veggies. How about that to a safety standards of human food?

Ds, traditional dry and what dog food options are highly, can use much lower quality ingredients that they claim to and are extremely difficult to portion accurate.

That's right. The farmer's dog isn't just fresh food, it's higher quality food. And they also send the food proportion specifically for your dog. That's right. This makes IT easy to help maintain their idea.

A healthy way can live up and have a longer than over .

wait IT doesn't matter if your dog is Young. Old is always the right time to begin investing in their health.

get fifty percent off your first box of fresh, healthy food at the farmers, a duck come new plus you get .

free shipping, free partners since two thousand eighteen to bring quality sleep to a lead athletes.

It's for good reason as super able champions, we know how important IT is for recovery to sleep in a great bed plus sleep number. Beds have great features, including the ability to adjust for .

this sleep number. Smart beds show you your sleep quality every morning in the sleep number APP.

How does you coming up? Who doesn't love fresh new bedding or pillows? Or if you are in the market for a bed, if you haven't checked out a sleep number store.

Now is a great time. Let's move on to some, some fan art of the week and shut out to.

Shut out to jehovah lines, which is a great username.

Obs litter is good thing. Somebody can read great name on our red page who shared her art from the super bull parade.

Oh yeah, baby.

check this thing out then.

Yeah, new height schools.

The goons, that's actually pretty good. Pic, why don't I have the gold sea on mine? You, we only do, we only do gold are our captain? You don't do jerseys during playoffs. That might be SHE might just had a good picture of me, not in the playoff SHE liked that picture Better than the playoff pictures.

So you're non play of jerseys don't have seas, and your playoff jerseys do have seas.

Yes, because we watch, we switch captains every week depending .

on who were one of my favorite, andy did. Honestly, i'm not a huge fan of a like cap. Yes, I just know to me like the best teams you don't have like captains, I feel like the whole team takes ownership. And I always felt like it's weird to have a sea and your shirt but IT looks cool. So especially .

when a gold yeah and you get the gold one after you fill up all the stars underneath the the c, for those of you that don't know, I thought I was four.

but I could be five was four stars, right?

Oh, nice. This four stars. So fifty .

the sea is .

gold and and all the stars yes. Now right now.

well, either way, um great piece of art works. John is liners have once the last have you as the job is witness ever come up to your door recently? Once the last time job witness came up to you.

I don't really answer my door.

That is that because jobs .

witnesses and b no.

like people trying to save me really just gives me bothered.

No, I.

like.

I just thought .

I was a funny thing to say.

Out out to milbe, melb, twenty one ninety, for sharing this glass remark from a filly. Condign students know just how much he loves this show made somebody, man, I wish my .

house for that tiny.

That's .

technique. Are there that people, when they talk about the hourglass figure, you ve got a done pad on that thing. Are you doing a byte curl? Are you doing the I need to hear .

a louder, a good feel like .

you're asking for the crowd to pump up up. That's what I I think just I think I could do those boots.

you ve got the you got the rock eyebrow go on right now.

Man, um, i'm like, this is much Better than anything I drew or put together when housing kindergarten. This is kindergarten. You sure this is kindergarten?

What age? Man, what .

they're saying, why they are far behind.

I mean, they got to.

they still a couple years behind.

so they got some time to kitch .

up this pretty little SHE does on the couch on the wall is this is a good thing. They make washroom cranes now. Or mark.

I remember a didn't put on time down stairs, says a kid and having a cranor a pen and just said.

we do the same thing. Why is that something everybody does time out on the stairs? I was.

no, I was IT was a IT was a Kelsey outside discipline a tactic we do IT too kill.

I did did IT in the make David house to is Kelly won't right to IT there's one of her first .

coaches right now. The stairs there's nothing worse than just sit on a stair and there's there's not too much fun.

You can unless you get a marker and you can draw over .

the wallpaper, right?

Thank you so much for showing us that artwork and making me feel worse about my children. Just joking will .

catch up yeah baby.

So a few episodes ago, um we told you guys that we had a tickets in the live show still left out there and we want to give away and we needed you guys to submit and let us know who was the top one percent of the sixty two percent blown away by all the submissions, of course the treat, the commencing even some of the artworks finally got a pair of tickets .

to hand out right now.

First to someone that might be the biggest new heights. And on the internet, she's always commented on everything we post. She's following us everywhere we go since day one. And SHE got a lot of other fans saying, we absolutely had to give her a congratulations. The first fan we give a tickets to is at that zero, which, although, e.

okay.

I put IT up on the screen, but yeah, we got to give a shot. Look at this. Got a lot of travel's healthy stuff.

Not so much. Jessie Kelly, a couple of things. There's a palma homes. Aren't I officially hate this party? You as if we didn't already have enough kansas city people come to a kansas city live show.

Way to go. We're adding another one to the bunch, baby. Set out this. Really .

appreciate all .

the support I see you. And eighty seven, the the kells jam, NBA jam style t shirts from homage, always appreciated, I see with the Kelsey crunch. I hope those are the closest thing to we, these kids. Make sure you get your Kelsey crunch.

I'm not a lot. I think I think the which zoe, that which joe would look a lot and me church, the way her eyes look, I think sh'd look pretty good and like a tea ish, like midnight Green there, I say think you look really good.

So if you wouldn't mind just wearing red for the show, they're be appreciated. But if you want to throw some some tea.

so you want to be just like everyone else there.

human birds, birds, we we got to find some, some silly people come into the show.

Hopefully we got some people.

Nice art .

private. We got to get to our next segment. It's out the house.

Get out the house. Je, you have to get .

out the house. My favorite segment, we've been over this. I love getting out the house because we've been getten out of the house as the segment suggest. And as of the last record in episode try, if you get out of the house, you did the first pitch at the cliver guardia and home opener. If you want to call that debated, that is best in personation of hosea masa and .

he know was those you don't know, clive in baseball, who they may arguably lost the world series force.

It's a team game. It's a team game. I couldn't.

Hey, man, we wouldn't been there without of no yeah. And you know, I was never special on the mound. I was never comfortable on the mound. When I played baseball, I was a right fielder. I was a outfile.

You pitch a little bit your last year baseball when you doing that summer league, didn't you?

No, i've got a sort .

them through you up there because you were thrown. What were you throwing that summer when you did summer, the wooden bally when you got kicked that you see I might .

have you were down in the ninety two I I threw that I threw harder in high school, I think because I was just, I was throwing more and I was doing no more baseball activities. So the ARM was a little more lively, so I could win IT. But that's why I played right fields, because I I had a big ARM and I could. I was bare with a croll hot.

and I was out of not that Better of the ball bounced from my world.

There's a good point. There's a good point I can throw in in the vicinity.

I got to admit the catcher did not give a great effort.

Oh, no, listening. I was so happy that he said, guy, out of that way, I felt like I put his life in danger. This.

and you gave IT everything you had on the pitch, like you try to know what as hard as you could. He did not.

I also gripped as hard as I could, and that's where you go wrong. You get a, come on, been a while. It's been a while. And honestly, mom kind of threw me under the bus. Mom.

what you mom was supposed .

to throw IT.

Mom was supposed to throw.

Mom was supposed to throw IT. If I would knew that I was throwing at the entire time, I would have been doing, I would have been on the mount all week.

You didn't. I don't act like you didn't do warm if you.

me did a warm up with a net that was ten feet in front of me, right? Not ninety feet for me. Well, so that's probably why try George bush .

one up on that thing and delivered a perfect strike in the name of amErica after september eleven. I'm pretty sure he had not been up on the mountain and a few years. Well.

he owns the rangers. So maybe he has does he owns the rangers?

I don't know. I thought he did. I know is a filia ID with him. I thought from texas used to own the rangers, knew IT. No.

I he's the best. I I was always more comfortable in the box. That's the batter's box is where I made my, I could hit a page. I can throw a pitch.

You did resume yourself.

I haven't read me myself yet, but you want to reduce myself.

You reduce yourself. And you put out that video with iron judge where you're hidden dangers yeah .

but that's I got ta get back on the mountain.

I ve got to get on the mount. I think anybody? Ys let me back on the mountain.

I think if we got somebody, please give me a chance.

give me a chance. I think you're taking out the first pitch.

I'm gonna pat, my home. These, these are owner, the royals, and see if I can get the royals to.

Pat is owner of the royals, okay? How much percent?

I don't know. Minority owner probably, but he's definitely in the game .

yeah and he can proudly get the first pitch. I didn't do IT I am surprised that you were even able to do IT that .

your shoulder I know my army must fell off my and three surgeries on this trigger thing.

This thing .

doesn't even IT doesn't even go all the way back to be able to know .

what you ripped IT so hard we trying to make sure that fall off.

And all those dads in a little league baseball that I used to make fun of for saying that their ARM heard their shoulder hurt from like just throwing bp yeah I feel you now guys, I feel every single one of those pages you know what they should do. They should do a ceremonial first hit.

First hit.

Let me go out there. Throw me some bp, see if I can hit and .

over the wall you don't get to make up things now it's the ceremonial first pitch. Just get the royals on IT. Pat, come on. Let this member do himself. Let the Kelsey name live on with pride.

Please let me redeemers self.

Did you talk to dad? Did you talk to the man that taught you how to throw ball?

Now he was, I did. Couldn't even look in the eyes because .

like the amount of just like pure.

just that was his sport too. Yeah, that was his. Like that that was dad's dream.

You went, you went from like winning the super ball, which is like every dads like proud of smoke of a son to just ruining the first thing that he ever taught you in life, which is play kitch. He play catch just I remember a dancing. I thought him, I say this.

i've been on, i've been on, i've been never one on the top ten before. And they gave me a the sports center, send me a few days. It's nice. And I love that one of the courses I ever do.

they send out not to.

That's what i'm saying. They should have a nap. Top ten t shirt.

Epi, and what are you doing? I would. I would have .

been electric too. I arguably I would wear that more then I would. The top ten.

what would I be if I wasn't A T shirt? So t shirt is like, you get IT. If you, if you're top ten, what should be the equivalent of a not top ten?

Like dog.

drones.

toy, able dollar .

a poop dollar frame, 哈哈哈。 A bronze .

pop down on Jason. You are also out to house. Yeah, you last week you went out to L.

A. And you were you were doing the nfl broadcast book. Can you explain to the people what that is and how good you were? Would you any good?

No, I need to join a rebrand at the nfl media workshopped not like that used to be broadcast book in for years. But um yeah a lot of fun. I got try my hand and pretty much everything in media to try and call games, live your guy's game because the charges last year was the radio game we were doing.

I got, I learned IT was a clip.

I'll get the car for IT. They said that was, I don't know, they have the video behind that, the over just the audio because that was was radio. But either way, there's a lot of fun.

I mean, I got a lot whole new respect like color analyst. I mean jeans do to be able to give that like greg len, you're good. Killed the man.

He killed IT romo. Oh my gosh. To be able to come up with stuff that quick on the spot as it's all line around. It's a that's hard to do.

It's a talent. IT is a talent. So yeah.

you do everything you do little bit TV little bit of radio for live games, then you do a podcast segment and then you do a uh studio like a like a studio show panel. So this cool.

yeah. What was the hardest part? You think just the in game stuff or the prep, you know people's names and know .

people's named to heart. Luckily, there aren't too many situations that I had to say like a overly complex name I think did that way on purpose. And the hardest part for sure was the game stuff because that was the most foreign thing, my podcasting I mean, we do at all time.

Um the the studio thing you know the topic ahead of time, right just run down so you can kind of get ready for what you're about to talk about even though there's a little bit of free flow and creativity that happens when you're doing IT. Here you go and really prepared the game and this is harder, probably in a regular game, because you don't get like the flow that you used to shoved in pretty much at a point in the game. And you kind of got to go off the cuff about IT.

That was the thing that was most unlike anything i've ever done before or so that was that was easily the hardest thing. And the fact that it's just like you don't have a plan, you have to just go with what's happened in mitten front. And those are for sure.

Did you have any cool catch phrases like bja A I didn't even even .

catch races, but they are like, man, you do a lot of like, wo and like, I like you. You're very animated they said, that sounds good. You're border and doing IT too much and depending and his drink, what was depending on, depending on who you do IT with, the player playing is gonna to kill them.

So I take a back little bit because I don't know if you know this. But like the way that works is the play by play, guys go. His job is from the break of huddle pretty much to the end of the play to say what's happening.

And then once he stops talking, is the color and of this shop to start. And then you need to be done pretty much by the time that holds was breaking again. You get a little bit more live with TV, but as well about two quick sometimes. And that was one of the bigelow feedback.

staying your lane, Jason, staying your land.

But they did say, like even though you should cut back on the uz and as what not, they did say one of the most important things is to just enjoy the game. Because if you're have fun, the listeners have fun.

So you go, you got to get a catch errors.

Man, what should you be? My catch phrase. Help me come up with a test phrase.

I will. I am going to take a cat phrase from a man dogg. P, if I, if i'm ever in that role, i'm bringing the sushi. H SHE shish. You gave him the nice sushi at the top of the out breaks out SHE sush is what you hear you?

I wonder if we created this social kc because .

I think did, because IT was not in when dug and andy were with money morning wig in philly before they went to casey. I never, I never heard him says, you sush. And then my duck came back. Effort was in casey. He was saying, SHE sush, so I think that's a kc thing.

I want to say I might have created this. You created this issues. I think I might have. I think I think we created IT .

as an office and I was those around. They don't know what is because you probably shouldn't or I don't know why you wouldn't. What he is when dug Peterson used to go over the row, right, is like saying, okay, you to press IT to five and then you're going to school and is usually on the diagram, it's like a straight line and then like a little, like a little IT and then you break one way, right?

The hush means, hey, this is where you get open here. Go five. Do whatever you want to do to be open when you break out on that angle. Is that a accurate .

that you are spot on and you can also you can to shish a blocker or you can shish a defender in the run game as well. Like act like your blocking them SHE sush yeah.

go around them. Deception, like exactly IT can be IT be IT IT can be wherever you want to to be okay. I I also like you because I feel like if you're doing IT right your ear should hear.

If you don't feel this SHE sush.

yeah, you don't hear this is you didn't SHE sush here, would you actually? Foobar news, huge sign. Jailor is officially locked up. Big deal.

signed.

The highest paid player in the nfl is officially jail at her side of five year, two hundred and fifty five, with one hundred and seventy nine .

Gosh damn sorry for all of you religious folks at this. I don't mean to take lords name in vain.

that must be nice. I talk to him right .

been up for jail and hurts everybody。

I about .

IT as .

pretty damn good man. Congress to the eagles. Go birdman, until until you play the cheese.

Let's let's some twelve twelve bold topics to kick off the n fell draft week um we officially about one week out from the two thousand and twenty three and fell draft and at this point in the process, as as veterans, are we involved at all in the draft? I have you giving your two sense to anybody. No, nope. I have neither week. I also they have I know nothing.

They've asked me um for a couple years like we're obviously looking for guards centers before. And um in particular, last year, I looked at cam jerkins in a couple of other things going .

to draft you draft the camp jerkens.

I will say this is where I stop by saying like are we was I involved? Like yeah looked at home. I had nothing to do with like just that and sounds .

like sounds like you had a little .

to do with IT. I mean, I just agreed with, listen. And all of my influence comes from Howard modern jeff's talent at the nfl, right? So I think I look at off an alignment in a very similar fashion as the way jeff does.

But there a number guys like, we like them the bomb over and bottom as well, but we really, I mean come dragons of particular, the way he moves out in space. All those things are things that we'd like. But for the most part, i'm not ever involved with anything, much less have any idea with what we're about to do.

So yeah, I honestly, I have to absolutely nothing to do with IT. I am the only people that I actually watch film on are just the tightens. I like watching, see and what tightens are coming into the league and what kind of athlete to we got representing titan and you baby. So I just find out the pigs when I see him come across the tiki or, uh, just follow the old n file APP and and watch these these guys get picked. I don't having absolutely nothing to do with the draft to get the city, I got full trust that red vision and the read to have IT all covered.

Yeah, do you watch the drink? I guess that's the next question is how do you find out the pics you said you fall like phone like last year.

Last year, I definitely watched because obviously a lot of since and any guys, our guy at what mostly just day one, day two, i'll have IT on the T, V. In the background for day two one, day three for the most part. But I set down and kind of watch the the draft.

I enjoy the experience and I enjoy seeing people, you know, accomplish their dreams and take take their, you know, take their life to the next level, take their game to the next level. It's just it's a cool thing to appreciate. IT always puts me back into the moment that I got drafted and being around the family and see and mom and dad can come to tears or get emotional because I actually got a job in the world.

Um IT was just IT was awesome and IT was awesome. So that always makes me kind of go back to that. And any time I can reminisce the good times, baby.

i'm all in. I agree, men, there's few things Better than watching the draft. It's hard to watch day three because it's so long and are so many picture. I usually either put on the background like you said, or just follow on my phone.

Either certain players or since an other guys or who the eagles are picking yeah but days one and two, especially day one, like seeing the guy gip t his whole families there. I think that adds the whole element to the end. I'm just curiously, the eagles draft sometimes don't watch a whole thing. I at least watch till the ego pic and of course, I watch on and the network and may reaches .

do you ever reached the drifts or anybody you guys are bringing into the you just wait until you see him in the building.

So usually guys are we drafted, I wait to we see him in the building. There's a couple of guys i've reached out to um but it's not typical most of the time. I'm just waiting because we're going to be in the building the next day.

week or or two. Yeah I I always I try and reach out to the guys that that are on offence. At least here we kind of just set the tempo or set set the gage or the relationship to let them know, you know, mean, we're here for you to make this thing as easy on you as possible.

Brother, if you need anything, just reach out. But I tried to do that for this since nai guys, two men, reach out to everybody. Let them know. You mean, you ve got, you ve got a fellow barca, you got a fellow brother in this thing, if you need any advice and he really assurance manager, give me a shout because I know that kind of stuff went there was IT helped me out so freak much just to have you already in the league. But to see a guy like conor bara winner, to see guys that i've been where i've been and you know are where I want to be in life, you know that always just makes everything to study more um that is more fun and that was more appreciative men.

nice. Do you? Do you read mock traffic? no. minis.

No, I, no, I have. No, the that arguably the silliest thing, I have no idea. It's keep you out. You can know what these guys are going to do. I don't is .

even worse than do. I don't think IT makes any sense. Fillin out of seven, nine motif like IT makes the teams don't .

even know what time. Yeah, exactly.

There are so many variables after the first round. I think I do pay attention to like who the top guys are for the first round. I don't read to fall on knock drafts about that and kind of okay, these are kind of you would be used to see what this team does and if they go with the counter back that everyone he's expected them to go with or they goes somebody different IT be going to see if we pick who everyone else thinks are going to pick but outside the first round, I don't pay attention to none of that stuff yeah and other is cozy that anybody even tries to do a mock drive after the first around doable.

The hardest st non qb position group to evaluate you go.

uh, so we've said this before, but i'll we say that I guess I think the hardest positions to evaluate are the positions that have the most variables in determining whether that player plays well. Because that's why one of the things something quarter back is so hard to evaluate. So the two positions, I think, that have the most variables outside of just being a dominant player yourself that determine what if you're good or not are line backer. And on the line.

yeah, I was going to say opens of line.

I think of the line is hard to because most people don't really understand offense of line and what IT takes to be great at IT. I do think tackles are little but easier to assess because like similar to defense event, if you can pass back a defenestrate all game problem.

going to be pretty good tackle.

very long, strong, can learn pretty fast prog, going to be pretty good tackle, especially interview. I think a lot of IT comes down to system scheme plays being called how they teach different techniques, whether that matches up with yours. There's a lot of different variables are going to IT.

I think unless you either played, coached or scattered the position specifically, this is very hard for the average person to do that. But then lime back, I just think lime backer, like there's so many variables that go in to whether you are good landed, whether the three, four, four, three, do you find that system? Like what what are the coaches asking you .

to do that front seven going to be on the same page for you .

to be a good back and you play a mak coverage and have an a fuck and run one or one with like a tight and all day like, I don't know. I just I feel like the system can make a lime backer look really good who's actually just like an okay player and can also conversely, make a okay player look terrible if you're asking them to do a bunch of really hard things more so than a lot of other positions. Yes.

i'm i'm going to say um i'm going to take IT out of the hardest non Q B position. I'm just going to say the guys that are in like the d two, d three before, like the the lower divisions, it's tough to evaluate those guys, but because it's not you're not going up against the biggest guys, right? Know like most of the time, all the big guys go to the esc when these power five conferences and it's A I just feel like it's it's always kind of just a question in the air of their games going to translate to the nfl.

Is that going na match up to .

Better competition? And man, it's fun when IT does you I mean, you just you love to see IT. You love the appreciated.

And then on top of that, you usually feel like you found a hit in gem, like you're found a diamond in the rough, right? And those are always a little bit more reboarding. I'm share for the scouts and in the games when those .

guys paying out what IT is players, I feel like we always love IT when like a guy from any type of adversity background. And up making IT right? Yeah like I just think it's those stories are the ones that like because you know our heart IT is to make IT and guys and have to come from d two.

D three is extra hard. You can try that and try to stand out. Uh, you know if so, yeah, I motion.

You just think about some some terminal gy there. There's the plug and play guys there. There's a system guy there does the try hard guy is as a workforce ready man, no shit. You Better be a work course. And then one one of our favorites, this guy is an athlete.

I actually like the athlete, I think in the right context using using IT a certain way, I think that makes sense.

They all Better be athletes if they're getting drafted. Would you mean there's .

some guys that are just I used a lot of guys that are really talented that aren't that athletic but a good to foobar. There was an ID in my head that every player you bring in, you should just have them shoot a basketball or play pick ball and you can tell right away whether their athleticism will corporate to sport to me. Um like talent is how fast you run, how you can jump explosive. You are like all the things that .

you're kind like born with. See, I think .

that I thinking of different than everybody else. So that's why athleticism make sense to me.

Okay.

to me, athleticism is how good you apply talent to a sport. That's what I think i've to think about. You have seen tons of guys back in run and jump in our unbelievable talented guys, but they're not athletic because are not good sports like they can run really fast, but they can catch a ball.

You're not athletic. see. I feel like it's the other way around. If you can run your athlete, if you can run and catch now you're talented.

Tomato, tomato, I guess I think I did look at up. I think you I think you're right by like the dictionary, I hear what you're saying.

I hear what you're saying. I guess like to me.

if you if somebody tells me somebody y's athletic, I think the good at sports, which is why I think athleticism is just coordination plus talent.

So talent isn't necessarily taught in your book. You just have natural talent.

Talent is like, what is god given? Like there's a story in the bible, whatever, where you get a certain amount of talents. Like to me, god given ability is talent.

Athleticism is the combination of talent coordination and skill. Scale is like how good you are. Specific things for given sport.

Coordination is how well you put your talent and skill together to be good at sports. And athleticism is just you're good at physical activity. Sports, every sense.

No, i'm following following.

You do that.

No.

not cool. Glad we got nothing that. Speaking of a guy who talented and athletic.

it's time to .

walk on my first gesture of but .

I know this .

guy that's right.

the defensive of the year.

Baby, you know, it's the sauce segment. Baby, let's get to IT. Already it's time to welcome our guest. Our guests is six, three corner back out of detroit, michigan, former member of the university of fellow bear cat. He was the rookie defensive player the year, and he's the first time problem, the first time first team, or he is the one and only mr. Sauce .

garden. You, no, I just listened to be able to be in this league, which you know, put on for uc. I'm excited to be on here. Man.

always on.

baby. We're honor to have you obviously member ka graduate dominate you guys said so much success since I with coach fake and I know .

how many guys were draft last year.

I think and that's the most of school issue. So guys you guys were dominated out there .

and see what you got the bar. I'll tell you what all bare cats, baby, we were .

out.

Well.

i've got to ask, draft last year, you were in los vages for the draft.

What was that like IT was IT was a great experience. I just remember getting drift in as soon as I walked in a house. The first person I am was I Q, I just blue.

Mom, mom, like, I like, this is really ice. Q, you know, we took some pictures and everything. IT was great, man, and that just missed IT all a look.

But I just remember gin draft on my art about to go. We got go joy. So, you know, me in our drive, our drive class, me breeze gear.

We want to go to join ourselves and interviews stick in my, we got to go. We got a pop up somewhere. You know, one of the females on the jazz, come on, we get on a private time, right? My whole jji, jeff, but he was .

things going to do for .

being fourth overall. You know, too bad. What I got to asked, did you know you were going to new york? When did you did you have a good feeling you .

were going to four when I got rural clothes? I kind of feel that was that was the move. Like, you know, houston, houston was a smooth bot. Like I was just taking about the no state sites is an all way.

but OK how they .

got really displayed a whole one to light zone and cover two take, so how they got like fitted there I deal prototype of a corner bag. But I was just talking about the grand scheme. But things with the plan quarters, three men, everything i'm like, yeah, has gone this.

So yes, this beats me to, I was going to ask this question later, but I gona ask you, you brought IT up.

What do you have to preferred covered? You like to run. I know you like, man, I like, I like playing.

Man, you never get my hand. Use my corner back code. You know, he teach me, he told me a lot.

No man is whatever he actually were living. That's the crazy. He asked his agreement. His name is, uh, tony older. So he he goes a slay. He always to talk about, you know, he said he always talk about how to, is this an end after the trade? I would like, know yg got everything from us over the company.

So we go .

start, sorry, 对, start in .

the west, baby. No.

yeah.

What is that? how? You know, big play. That's how you got the most because I knew you guys knew each other before the dress.

I was like in high school when he was playing a detour, he came to my high school and you know, he worked out and I was up there and I was able to I guess i'm working in a little IT was a great .

area I got you could run into like that in high school because he's all for kind of bring bringing along the Young generation and and making sure everybody's on boy, one of the best leaders i've known and i'm i'd never even played with a man yeah.

I definitely agree. I definitely agree with that man like, no, you get some, you get some god as an N I feel that is all about themselves in everything like he actually a guy as hole, you know, like you say, he like to bring a Young guys little and that's going to have like i'm not that I try to be on hollywood like i'm you know pull myself out there when he comes you like always well is just so as everything .

you were there .

any other teams i'll side of houston in new york? Or are those two teams that are like, man, he's going happy with .

one of them I mean, yeah, he got to IT got to that point. Like, the child was like, a giant.

Glad that I want this is before I even know.

like, I was going like, pick that three or four I went to the giants, uh, visit. I think IT was closed doing that. He was A T as a ordinator.

Like he got like this, wink, wink, wink. yeah. He got like, this government of thing is the office. He told me if I can, if I like, make the, make three out of, three out of five puts, or something like that, or three out of team OK this, go pick me a five. So this is how you do here.

And have you got.

I saw the video that you see just post, I saw the video, didn't have a working.

and I definitely hate to. I didn't really like the look yeah the day way you see, I didn't even get a golf there. Like i'd never actually like golf. Gov, like I went to travel and like, you know get busy .

a top of .

of all here you know I mean, like you think really, I mean.

you put the practice. I mean, the one thing that blew me away when you, because I saw you when you were unfairly come to for your top thirty, and I remember at the time as I got that will play corner bag you, how big you are long like, I think like when he comes a golf in you, you got the frame for IT long arms, big gold swing.

You'd pray, kill IT if you you .

are to know you are you too busy? You too busy. Went in defensive rookie of the year, man.

so yeah, that's I got actually you any vice? I mean, having so much success in your rookie year, do you guys advise any the draft guys come on out is I mean traveling dam short and have them a success over year? Like what do you credit right away having that much success in what advice you give the guys coming out?

This thing I say is like, don't come in filter ci in no matter where you drive. You mean like that was my main thing. I came in and I was trying to be a small, I was trying to sick of all the information, all the game date, the coaches, my face, you know, even something there's my age that they were trying to give me. So just to make me like give me so much respect, you know, in our building, I mean, that wanted remain the be willing to listen, be willing to learn, man, taking IT to .

the top of the job. Man, let's talk a little more about last year. You're the only rocky to make all pro.

You gotta tell me the mind frame that you have coming into the season. Like are there certain goals that you want to to accomplish? Are there certain things you have like kind of listed, like defense brooky, the year was out. One of them. Yeah, all your minds that .

are coming into the year. yeah. So IT was a problem. And the first work year.

Like I I just like nobody put more work to me. I am I put put as much work in as I can. And when I step on the on, I feel no matter who you know, i'm going dominate from .

t we from we saw .

and you walked .

out a label field last year with a cheese had on baby, you already know that was that was one of the most licensing parts. Everybody remember that about your rooky year. How do I feel you and have you sets made up with the air Rogers, because I know he's trying to make his way over in new york.

Me, I was living that was just a great experience like I can even believe .

I did as too I .

does not even that like the off this to me, please, is to the but talk about air like my first takes me. So was a pitch to change. No, I mean, I I just to a picture, click, why do you have the. Everything you know he's a great guy like I would never be like expect to be able to have somebody like that on my thing and IT happened. Not that I just be great you know for me and for the whole organization yeah not not .

to hate on anybody that you played with last year, but to have have a hall of fame courtelage like that. I mean, just can both the test to have an a great courter back switches the entire mentality and confident to the team. And this is how girl's man, the cube of runs a show like that. But we talk a lot about mentors on the show um a guy like a tony and I is shine and sharp for me.

Uh, coming into the league were huge you know just an giving me that that oppose the reassurance of confidence that I know what i'm doing and I can do this and I can be one of the best um where I can be the best me but you got a chance to spend some time with my god, the real revive st. Man yes, having him around the building. What was that like here? And things from him? And what all did you did? You gathered from him early on?

He was great. Man, first thing he just told me, like I could do anything up on my mom too. No, that's when I had the first get drafted but you know, he started, spent a more time and at the facility, you know, we got a chance to like, breakdown.

Some film wasn't film, so I got to see his film. He got to see someone like, hear great dog and i'm just bleed to have a, get a chance to just make time. Well.

you know, smart.

Get what I get. Actually, what do you think the most important thing to be like? A dominant.

the harsh position on the field by far to what you just said.

I don't want to see your answer of these your answer, but like the best corners to me have that mentality that they are the best. Like I feel you have to have that because like to be able to whether a big play happening, like somebody making like something happening that's kind of do just made a good play but still in your head know that you're a dog and like you, the best player on the field. I feel like the best corn has have been around and those guys are like playing with anyways. Um have that like what do you think makes a corner about great I mean.

what do you think everything has to go around companies you got to have and that's the core trade and you must have to be a dominic corner because you I didn't been around some guys who got who had a mentality that he get pay too, of course he will make them place.

Then you got a guys like our care, what you get pay, not going, let this happen and some more so I got got like DJ, you know just he not the biggest gob, but he got the mentality you don't want to, I don't want to give up five. Your case, I get, I get mad at myself no matter what is. So, you know, this happened mentally is well on top. That, like this is IT just help more to a dominant vt.

you do, you go to a game legitimately like the goal is .

zero catches yeah that are going, I mean, for sure, are you not not happy like zero is craving? No, it's not only time. I got I low zero places and we played the lions. And I I was so mad because I playing my home town team and i'm like, i'm by the go crazy.

I could like you .

exactly.

not even let you make exactly zero target, but that's also a .

couple of minutes itself, of course. But what did you go? Balize fan, no. And who is your team?

H, I was A, I was a steller fan. My my brother was attack.

Did you have a .

favor player grown up? Um let me know I don't people one of my receivers player IT won't make him heard my favor. Play on the liars, you know him mess. Ever chat also thinker with my favorite .

player go.

Yes.

about funny thing. When we were at since, and adi ocho actually used to come down to our life spring practices, our summer practices, and do one on ones with all of the dbs, all the Whiteouts. He asked, brother, when I tell you he was one of the crazy, he was unbeliever at, I still remember those days seeing him just absolutely torch college dbs and turn them around and do whatever you wanted to with him bit.

I'll till you went for a guy like that to be able to go back to uc or to go to like a college and just work out with guys and show his face. Those are memories and and things that you you you mean you don't get every single day, man. So shut out to otro. But the Matthew stafford in mega on that connection was legendary.

was even I was going over sixteen, who one to six? Yeah, did you roof for .

any detroit teams? distance.

My boys, like IT was hard to cause you.

You want to look back like.

no.

the tiger are pretty good when you're going up, right? Yes.

tiger, I more baseball games and I A football games. Sure, not everyone play based well.

Yeah, right. Just name, just name in a home. Wide receivers as your favorite. Did you want to play?

Wide receiver? Grown up play. why? Receiver life, the end of myself.

More year high school.

Yeah.

so you just made the chances, i'll tell you one, six, three db men, that's a that's a different breed right there. That's a different breed right? I've always, i've always felt like I had to feel tony and alas, is shoes when I got to the league, like no one that derail reaves revers island. The jets meeting him, being able to talk to him and kind of gather all the information from him where you had any pressure living up to what he's dirty done in that organization in the league or you in your mind, you just kind of just want to be your own player and do your own thing in and reach those heights.

Yeah, I want to live out. Yeah, I like, I like to do.

Yes, i'm never .

tried to limit myself to someone as those success night would you? Like, one is somebody and i'm, I do don't be. Let me be Better than me.

So, you know, admire him. I admit game. You know, I was looking forward and me know, you know, he was a great corner. Everything I want to be Better know, I call like like when people say saul s island I just think about and but like as well I I let the fans they created loss and .

the sauce like .

I didn't even make that up like like what we can use this to myself and to my .

south who's on your dv? Mount rushmore? If you, if you can list four of them who's who's on your dv mild rush.

More four of them is crazy .

all time.

all time be .

you be current. That can be .

current too. If you got somebody all I name what I can because I remember what was that? We yed a packers.

And um before I got driving somebody yet. So to list my D, B, S, I lift out Alexander right after the day. Oh, my .

son, yes.

top. I mean, I about four four year, so I I go to rail rivers. yeah. dr. Sanders part .

time too.

Good one so far.

Do I go? Charles was IT you have? I mean, I think .

he be grow up right? And between detroit and woman, you know.

I got to go, Charles.

what I.

Take a check. Barely, but but how? no.

He, he did.

He did. Did you trying .

to .

think who else?

Yeah, like what that was. A D, B always used to run the forty or dash at the skills competition.

Either way, those four are right there.

Revise Price. I'm cool si he played.

how do you play for a couple teams? I know he play .

for .

a washington for stint I .

washington. And oh, man, no, he defined use a slight, he definite uses slot.

Well, let's get into a this is the buffalo wowing draft episode. What's what's going on with you buffer .

while we get to know and we we started a partnership man and i'm truly blessed now i've started um before my rookie season, you know my name. The first thing I did first thing I did was so my market and seemed that you know I want to I want to be able to be a Better export. yeah.

But so so and IT came at me and ask me about buffo wildings. I could not turn that down because while I was in high school, you know, even before that party, any time those football games owner, any sports games I was going there, when my family, they get all the tvs all around. So you, I mean, I was always there. So IT was a true blessing to be able to just had an opportunity to just make something happen with.

though, do you ever go to the one the university? Traver damn short did every every week night?

Yeah, I believe I went there a lot, but you know, I kind of had I had a taste for IT, but I didn't want to go to that specific location when I was just back as, okay, they have my, they have my car board cut out in everything, right? The.

I you put this on a lot of things. Yes, this perfect as nice. Now did you help like come up with this?

Yes, in my different types and act in my option becomes of labors stuff like that. So, you know, I put my tools in there, you know, take a sweet, you know about two sauce at the same time you want, I mean, you know of, send to me a child and like, yeah, that's the one right there well.

i've got ta say, man, i've never seen another player in league have a specific sauce form but if forgot and saw, I mean, great, it's a good .

fit right .

there exactly i'm lost in the sauce that what is this is do you think sauce like I don't want, you can be continue my home. I just honest opinion is sauce the best nickname .

Or yeah, I came in playing cub under brian Kelly. Yeah, when which Jones came in and I moved over the tight end and found a whole another love for the game, man, and he was, he was great. I got to do a whole lot more. I didn't have the stress of trying to throw a ball all over the place and make decisions. That was kind of a little bit more a easy feel but yeah I transition in the titan room a half wait you college .

and um best decision I ve made a OK .

OK you are know where you only with thick accent where .

school to make .

part five o was.

no, I mean, that's not something that I thought we would do like when I first, you know, committed c no IT up, up, up happy. We had a lot of great on eighteen, got a great players. No, I I wanted a first years about a ad like my brother .

is like a man.

I was, I was definite a blast. Man has just been able to playing as damon, because we wnp play them if we didn't, if we didn't make the playoff. And the way I think about IT, if we didn't make the playoff, we went to play them a then I want to get to where I to get jet.

I think I wouldn't go against alabama every week, right? But the government against I was dominated. So they see, I was able to do to say anything was elected. Like, okay, yeah, do git .

year. Now I am, I had to go. I might .

have .

to go get M B P. M P .

ve .

been, think p is like quarter bag, be the first value when IT comes .

to the pig. Is that upset you? Our courteous acs, enemy number one. Or receivers, enemy number one. What's the order of like question?

yeah.

I mean, this quarter back parks because like why was you even travel like that?

Like .

the receivers c, but they are close teg like a quarter bag. And it's like receiver I right there is not like a new job because I would like receive anyway. I I got back no office, a coordinate .

aus verse, what .

you do want .

state to the .

coach? No, I feel like whenever I go into a game on plane against a difference of ordinator, you know, I mean, and then from there you triggers down to the tendencies of the guys in front you. But for the most part, i'm looking at the overall grand scheme of things and what everybody is going to do on every single play for the defense.

Do you got a ordinator that you .

that on your list who's number one coordinator on your list, you want even say that .

yeah the shirt.

You got.

you know what? play?

No, no, no. Just one like, you're like, he's on a list. I can't wait to to show .

my sock garners .
