It is known for its wide range of health benefits, including liver protection, kidney protection, gallbladder protection, gut health, glucose metabolism, obesity, and weight management. It is particularly popular for protecting the liver from general liver stress and improving liver function.

How does TUDCA help with liver health?

TUDCA helps with liver health by reducing liver enzymes, improving overall liver function, and lowering total cholesterol. It also aids in detoxification, protecting the liver from damaging compounds such as alcohol, drugs, and steroids. Studies have shown that TUDCA can stimulate hepatocyte proliferation, which is crucial for liver regeneration.

What are the neurological benefits of TUDCA?

TUDCA has shown robust benefits for neurological and cognitive health. It has therapeutic effects in Alzheimer's disease, providing neuroprotection and neuroregeneration. It also shows potential for treating other neurological conditions such as Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, and ALS.

How does TUDCA affect metabolic health?

TUDCA improves glucose tolerance and reduces adiposity in fatty tissue, making it beneficial for metabolic health. It has been shown to improve insulin sensitivity and reduce the risk of diabetes. Studies indicate that TUDCA can help with weight management and obesity.

What are the recommended dosages for TUDCA?

Recommended dosages for TUDCA vary. For liver health, 10 to 13 milligrams per day for three months can improve liver regeneration rates and decrease ALT. For insulin sensitivity and fatty liver disease, 1,750 milligrams per day for four weeks is effective. A typical dosage is 500 milligrams daily for two six-month periods. Dosages are often split into three to four doses throughout the day to maintain homeostatic levels.

What are the potential side effects of TUDCA?

Potential side effects of TUDCA include nausea, diarrhea, GI distress, and skin eruptions. These side effects are generally mild and resolve with cessation of the supplement. Taking TUDCA on an empty stomach may lead to GI distress, so it is recommended to take it with food.

Why is TUDCA becoming popular in the health optimization space?

TUDCA is becoming popular in the health optimization space due to its wide spectrum of health benefits. It is known for protecting the liver from stress and improving liver function, but it also offers benefits for the brain, kidneys, digestive system, eyes, insulin sensitivity, metabolism, pain and inflammation, hormonal health, and weight management.

I think it's fair to say that Tudka is perhaps one of the most underrated supplements that you could have in your pantry year round. What I'm gonna do is actually share with you some absolutely phenomenal findings associated with this particular supplement.

So, Tutka is a hydrophilic bile acid that's naturally produced in the liver. And as a supplement, it has been shown health benefits for neurodegenerative diseases, liver protection, kidney protection, gallbladder protection, gut health, glucose metabolism, obesity, and weight management.

and many more other health effects. So really what I want to share with you are some of the unique findings associated with Tudka. And before we get to this, I really want to share why Tudka is becoming so popular in the health optimization space. So Tudka has been popularized for its wide spectrum of health benefits in the health and wellness space and bodybuilding community in particular.

Now, it is primarily popular for protecting the liver from general liver stress. Now, just a reminder here, Tutka initially got most of its praise and most people know about Tutka in the context of healing the liver, lowering AST, ALT, regenerating damaged liver cells and things like that. But,

Tutka goes way beyond this. In fact, it aids in detoxification, it protects from damaging compounds such as alcohol, drugs, steroids, et cetera. And the benefits extend to a vast amount of organ systems such as the brain, kidneys, digestive system, eyes, insulin sensitivity, metabolism, pain and inflammation, hormonal health and weight management. All these benefits make it a powerhouse to add to your supplement stack for optimized health.

Now, here's a snapshot of the research associated with Tudka. So the Tudka liver studies, we can see this Tudka acid for treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis. And what they noted was that Tudka ranged from

a reduction in these liver enzymes and we saw an improvement in overall liver function and a reduction in total cholesterol. So this was from ranges from around 1000 to 1500 milligrams daily. And this next study here was titled efficacy and safety of Tutka acid in the treatment of liver cirrhosis, a double-blind randomized controlled trial.

Now, what they noted was that it is suggested that Tudka therapy is safe and appears to be more effective than Utka in the treatment of liver cirrhosis, particularly in the improvement of the biochemical expression. So here are some other studies. And this next study here was titled, does Tudka treatment increase hepatocyte proliferation in patients with chronic liver disease?

So it appears that Tudka administration does seem to stimulate hepatocyte proliferation in men. So this is phenomenal, you know, phenomenal research suggesting the

unique benefits and properties of Tudka. This next study here was titled Tudka a bile acid that may be used for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Now, obviously this is not medical advice guys, just reminder, nothing that I've said in this video is medical advice. Please do consult your healthcare professional before making any changes to your lifestyle or routine.

So they're saying based on the evidence presented above, we conclude that there is a correlation between Alzheimer's disease and the disorder of bile acid metabolism. Monitoring modifications happening in bile acid can serve as an early means of differentiating and screening for Alzheimer's disease. Now interventions targeting bile acids show potential for improving Alzheimer's disease.

Tutka, an endogenous bile acid has certain therapeutic effects in Alzheimer's disease. Now the most recent research on Tutka is expanding beyond liver and digestive health to show robust benefits for neurological and cognitive health.

It is showing great efficacy for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease as shown in the extensive new study above, as well as in neuroprotection and neuroregeneration for brain health and function. So we can see here, "Tutka acid may improve liver and muscle, but not adipose tissue insulin sensitivity in obese men and women." This next study here was titled,

"Tutka improves glucose tolerance and reduces adiposity of fatty tissue in normal protein and malnourished mice fed a high fat diet." This next study here was titled "Insights by Tutka is a potential therapy against adiposity." So again, noticing better metabolic health associated with Tutka usage.

This unique finding about Tudka is that Tudka provides strong protection against neurological and inflammatory metabolic diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's, ALS, atherosclerosis, diabetes, as well as other acute and chronic diseases such as retinal disorders, stroke, obesity, spinal cord injury, and also cardiovascular issues.

So if you have the genetic APOE4 variant, it actually may be beneficial for you to be using Tudka. So that's really important to note.

Now, whether or not you should be having Tudka with or without food is up for debate, but general recommendations are to take it alongside meals since this can assist in digestion and improve absorption of fat soluble vitamins. So an additional benefit of taking with food is that taking Tudka on an empty stomach may actually lead to GI distress or issues with your ability to tolerate the supplement.

Now, if we look at how does Tudka actually work, the primary treatment purpose of Tudka is for cholestasis or gallstones via improving bile flow from the liver. Now, Tudka beneficially modulates cells in the liver to promote regeneration and reduce cell death.

Now, Tudka is a potent inhibitor of apoptosis in part by interfering with the upstream mitochondrial pathway of cell death, inhibiting oxygen radical production, reducing endoplasmic reticulum stress and stabilizing the unfolded process.

Here are some side effects associated with Tudka. Side effects shown in research are nausea, diarrhea, GI distress, and skin eruption. These are mild and resolve with cessation of the supplement. And if we look at the different dosage ranges for Tudka,

Now this study here looked at around 1,750 milligrams per day for four weeks, improved insulin sensitivity and fatty liver disease. That's a very high dosage. I actually don't know anyone that's using around that high of a dosage. I did go through a phase myself where I used 1500 milligrams per day. I had better energy.

I just felt like I was recovering better. But in terms of frequency and dosages, four weeks at 1,750 milligrams per day does appear to be beneficial for insulin sensitivity and fatty liver disease. Only 10 to 13 milligrams per day for three months improved liver regenesis rates and decreased ALT.

500 milligrams daily for two six month periods separated by a three month washout improved liver enzymes without side effects. By the way, that's the typical dosage that most companies use. Again, a reminder, you will see Tudka linked down below in the video description. And 15 to 20 milligrams per kilogram of body weight of Tudka found to be the most or best for bile salt composition. So

So just a reminder that dosages are often split up to maintain homeostatic levels throughout the day. So like I said before, if you're gonna be going for those high dosage ranges, it's probably best that you split that up into three to four dosages throughout the day.

So in summary, Tutka is absolutely a remarkable and versatile potent supplement primarily used for liver and digestive health. However, continuing research shows additional multifaceted benefits for kidney protection, gallbladder protection, gut health, glucose metabolism, obesity, weight management, and neurological protection and recovery. So

You know, I like to say this, if there's one supplement to rule them all, I do think Tudka deserves a spot in your pantry. So that wraps up today's podcast.
