Not worth it. Item is large print. I didnât think the book had all that helpful or useful information. Would not buy again or recommend this item to others.
Hawaii By Dummies This book, a measly 100 pages and printed in in massive 24-point font, seems to have been written either for or by a second-grader (and that's being generous). Seriously, Wikipedia's entry on Hawaii is more informativeâ and entertaining. The section called "Luxury Resorts: Because You Deserve To Treat Yourself" mentons one resort and in the vaguest possible terms. The "maps" mentioned in the description and reviews are nowhere to be foundâ but there are plenty of typos, grammar and punctuation issues and less-than-helpful advice such as "don't forget that going around by yourself means having to book your own shuttle or look for your own taxis." It's clear that some of these bogus "reviews" here are plantsâ they repeat the text on the back of the book verbatim.
Leave this one on the shelf Well, the glaring typo/misspelling of "Kauai" in the Table of Contents was my first clue that this book wasn't going to be helpful.
