Members Reviews: Every employee should read this! This book should be read by every employee who works for a company within the United States. If you want to understand what is going on in the economy and what you, as an indivisual need to do about it, then this book is for you. It explains in easily understandable terms what is happening, why it's happening and what you can do about it to protect you and your family in these difficult economic times. I highly recommend this book!

AN INTERESTING READ! What Your Boss Doesn't Want You to Know was an interesting read. It starts out by describing the global economy and how workers are not as secure in their jobs even unionized jobs as they once were. It went on to describe the decline in unions in the United States as compared to Europe and other countries, as well as the comparison of the unemployment rates now and during the Great Depression. Workers now need to invest in themselves through continuing education and read the current trends going on in order to keep up their appeal to US corporations. I did enjoy reading this although it was focused on the US economy and I am in Canada. There are some differences but it gave me a good understanding of what was happening in the US. If you enjoy reading business books, this would be a quick and easy read. I found that it really didn't tell me anything I didn't already know but it was a good eye opener.
