The health of former president Pranab Mukherjee, in hospital since last week is in critical condition. He has deteriorated with lung infection setting in. A medical bulletin issued by the Army Research and Referral Hospital said on Wednesday.
The 84-year old was admitted to the facility on 10 August and operated on for a blood clot in the brain.
Pranab Mukherjee had tested positive for coronavirus infection last week, a condition that he had made public on Twitter.
