U.S. President Donald Trump's administration has ordered its missions abroad to stop scheduling new appointments for student and exchange visitor visa applicants, as the State Department prepares to expand social media vetting of foreign students. Germany's foreign minister has threatened unspecified measures against Israel over its actions in Gaza. And King Charles has expressed his love for a "strong and free" Canada during a brief symbolic visit after it faced annexation threats from Trump.
