This week: according to the World Health Organization (WHO), over a billion people globally are obese. So, what are the contributing factors of obesity and why has it become so widespread? Meanwhile, is Ontario at risk of a measles outbreak? Recently, a number of individuals contracted the highly contagious disease after travelling overseas. And then on February 19, York Region health officials diagnosed a man in his thirties even though he did not travel anywhere recently leaving the door open to the possibility that it was the result of community transmission.
