ONTARIO HOSPITAL URGENT CARE HOURS BEING REDUCED DUE TO STAFFING SHORTAGES

Libby Znaimer is joined by Dr. Johan Viljoen, Chief of Staff at Niagara Health.

Niagara Health is reducing the operating hours of its Fort Erie and Port Colborne urgent care centres in order to keep their emergency departments in Welland, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines open. Dr. Viljoen details the new policy and the impact of staffing shortages.

SENIORS ARE PROTESTING YONGE STREET BIKE LANE

Libby Znaimer is joined by Trevor Townsend, Founder of Keep Toronto Moving.

A group of Seniors and residents with accessibility issues will be gathering at Yonge and Roxborough this afternoon at 4 pm to protest the Yonge bike lane and the challenges they feel it creates like added traffic congestion. The advocacy group Keep Toronto Moving also wants to see the next mayor elected to office utilize the strong mayor powers to establish an anti-congestion office. How realistic is that? Trevor weighs in.
