Every kangaroo is that's true. You a pet kangaroo, there was in a deer. Yes, kangaroos are just deer and then they just like use their tail to walk. It's a anyway, it's weird and .
IT sometimes they get on .
all four legs hangers are like, except they stand up.
right, hold their babies in .
their parts underneath. They walk on all sometimes and.
Ah what is that? People of the internet. Welcome back to another episode of the way from podcast where A S have a pretty news.
K, my first leave back, which is very exciting, just in right to come. Ah, yeah, we had the apple event. So .
markets, what did you do in australia?
Oh yeah, oh yeah. Well, I did take a couple weeks to go to play the world champing chips for me.
And they go and we.
Won, let's go really well.
But when as well as I could have gone, we actually USA swept. Yeah so every divisions that there's open, there's women's and there's next and us one, all the divisions didn't go undefeated through a tournament. IT wasn't without a little bit of who lost women's team, lost to columbia and parles. And they were a very strong .
for columbia.
They get more oxygen in their .
lungs exactly, but they came through .
in the finals.
So tide, tide.
Yeah.
australia.
like it's the vicious.
a powerful here you .
you ask a book and for the final point in ship. So like he started on defense. He is the one who created the time.
And I was dummy.
Nice too. cool. I am not sure yet if that was real. I of black.
It's like the coolest thing you can do on deline, especially to win a game, to win the tournament, win world is in the sand .
yeah and years the medals. And there is like kangaroo on horizon. IT was so cool that literally sounds make up yeah.
He was a good time. That's actually the next day I went, saw that was the one like kind of tourism day with the team. And we saw a bunch of like wildlife stuff to a conservative, or I think is cold there.
And so we saw koalas, which ninety five percent of the coals you see are just like half of sleep in a tree shoveling the egypt is into their mouth, like they're not doing much. But then for some reason, the last ten percent were then they're running around. Have you seen calls run around in watching a teddy bear run? It's weird. It's real actually. Yeah so that happened narrow and bark you they make insane, noisy I don't know how to explain the noises they make but you whatever you're thinking, it's not that it's kind .
of like a dinosaur type just like the opposite of an ego where you think and he makes really nice think .
a to make a really cute little noise and IT makes like a and it's a moto drag and noise.
It's and yes, so.
Yeah.
that .
just sounds .
like a pig.
The sky, this is a very territorial thing.
might be just like to .
be A A is. Like .
french bulldog okay.
that's bigger than I thought. Yeah because that's a deep as a deep .
tone that sounds bigger now is David yeah um we saw dingo. We saw cracked. We saw in like a dog and it's like a wild dog IT looks just like a regular dog, actually, to be honest.
I feel like the .
son is that just australians called dogs.
No, they had its, they were in a part of shipping cocky wild plant pus. Oh, really. yeah.
All kinds of weird animals. Glass, anyway, yes, australia was a good time. It's a very different times on. So I sorry if I just like fall asleep in park, cast might have.
I can already see your eyes like .
a little good. We just had like a nice little red. I fight.
I like I I was anyway, this we'd be at a bunch of stuff, a bunch of tech stuff. We had a monday apple event. IT was a september event, which means we got the iphone.
We also got the airports and the apple watch updates for this year. And that kind of overshadowed some other tech stuff we also got, which was a wiley trifled smart phone yeah and the P S. 5 pro announcement。 So there we got a lot to talk about.
The week is a whole, the whole episode. Uh, should we start with the? We should start with the the apple then yeah, I started the apple cool.
Okay, well, in order of what they talk about, the event IT was kind of apple intelligence. And then right into apple watch and an airports, yeah, and there were some rumours about apple watch being a whole big refresh. Just hold dramatic redesign and then they do play this really dramatic video.
What does that have? This like super boom, I crazy reveal. And then IT looked just like the old new design, aby new redesign.
They did call .
the redesign. But if would be an honest, is just a dinner.
the little .
bit flat .
rely not a barely you but still because .
it's dinner IT makes you .
look .
more square up but it's not .
really notice a but also who cares IT was really funny because I was like, it's ten ten percent lighter so that you know your rist won't have all this like where and like who is at the other day like my watch has really been killed in my ARM like nobody there .
are also like like that ten percent later also apple watch children next yes .
yeah so the main .
changes we got our it's a it's ten percent dinner and ten percent lighter. The aluminum has, is there a new color?
Even I don't theah the black, black, which is a call back to iphone seven days.
I remember that thing. That thing scratched a lot. Yes, I did. Will see if this one does two. And then they replaced stainless steel with titanium, and staying steel models with titanium.
Apple watch for a lot of money.
which are so quite expensive. But you can get natural, you can get a like darker light. So tiantian, that's also later the same less deal great.
Uh, they charged faster to go eighty percent in thirty minutes, which is nice. And there's some some minor new features like a couple new watch faces. I think that always on display showing the second hand is, is neat.
I think that that's really cool to be interest. It's funny that we went from like we were doing that for the beginning in the early way that takes all the battery. So then they made IT so that IT doesn't update and IT updates every minute.
And then now they are like, okay, we're finally efficient enough that we can actually be like a Normal watch. But I think this is nice. It's just kind .
of add to the in the second or does IT sweep IT takes IT takes sweeping .
would be way more it's a one hurts refer .
IT depends on the the watch .
face or you all do one second so which would take a concert.
right? Ch manual.
对。
i think David's right in in when the screen is actually on like you're looking .
at the watch, some of them sweet and it's hard.
Yeah I think my most interesting update with IT is these are called they're calling IT. I don't know what this means, but a White angle olet display yes, I looked at its side by side with the apple watch series nine and IT is a slightly brighter off access view and angle, which is nice because a watch you're not always looking at IT exactly face on.
You might check IT with like IT sort of off to the side ah so is nice said it's brighter off axis. There's a new apps as a new updated depth APP. There's A T APP now there's a water temperature sensor in a series ten and there is a update coming that will enable sleep apnea on detection once IT gets F, D, A approval.
Rather regulator body is approve IT IT will use just a gie scope to assess if you have potential high levels of sleep opener, in which case you can take A P, D, F to your doctor and go from there. So yeah just a that's just a just I think it's seeks so that's specifically yeah that's interesting. It's just so I I wondering about .
the microphone .
because like if you stop breathing during your sleep, you assume that noise would be helpful to detection but they don't use anything from the microphone .
ah a wonderful some microphone could pick up someone next to you or like not all sleep street storing like gasping. It's like can be pretty .
quiet breathing. And I see sleep tracking APP that put your phone bed on your bedside or on your bed. And IT would use the microphones and exelon to determine when you're sleep on your awake. So the fact of the watch does not record .
anything is it's nice yeah it's very interesting how deep into the medical space they're getting health feature, then i'm sure apple will eventually .
do that too. Yeah, they're always careful to say that it's not actually a medical de device is the most we've got into like medical grade stuff and Better even more so exactly yeah, but that's a watch series tent that's kind of the same Prices.
Not a tell me you don't care about audio without testing me you don't care about.
Okay, to the one thing, audio is in order to make IT thinner, they did reengineering speakers to be thirty percent less volume, but just as loud. So there are more efficient speakers list and and a lame side.
the wash. So more .
efficient. And they have also allowed you to play sound out of the watch speakers yeah by themselves. So if you have local music or anything you want to play out of your watch speaker, you can do IT. You can be the .
guy on the heart .
with muc people.
Yeah, you can leave your friends behind.
So I, you know, really cool them. If I was, like, really loud, that I tiny, for sure I would we get one test out. But if be really funny to like the on the subway .
cope yeah you know it's funny. The watch ultra has a crazy loud siren that's like they don't usually use the speakers and the watches are very much but that .
does have a siron also like I can't imagine, I feel like the obvious use of this running. But can you magine here in your music? Like.
what's the .
dog star .
that's a good. Can you take phone calls with the coming of your watch? yes.
And so maybe one of the only uses where you could use the speaker.
the watch before? Well, I was also, so I used the nike run club APP, and I have programs I was and annoying. Ly, it's like the connection between your airports and your watch is not very solid, so disconnects a lot or just doesn't connect a lot. So lot of the time I would be running in the coach just out of my watch while I was in the gym. We would be like, all right now I was I like talking, but yeah, just was coming out of my watch and was very frustrating.
So now you can just like place pot fy out of IT too.
If you're .
into that, disable this feature, apple .
meadii.
I wonder .
what that could be yeah ah the apple watch ultra two is the same but now has a sad black version.
This was the rumor a year ago or not, a year ago. I W D, C, I.
D, been .
a year ago. Gna come and black. So maybe they help IT that. Look.
that looks so good.
He does like, good.
So I I, so many people message me, just feel like how mps market as I know i'm not there but I know he's like sweating yeah when they announced .
IT was one of those things. Remember time when they like quoted me on stage and like everyone like yeah I feel like the same thing happened .
when they announced the black watched .
to everyone just .
plan in yeah. So IT is a coding.
IT is a coding on the is a coding over the top of the tiantian. They say that this is a very scratch resistant is what they said. The key note, it's a, it's a watch like it's going to get nicked.
I don't know how deep you have to neck to get to the light color underneath. Mine has gotten nicked quite a bit and it's you it's rought a tame color so doesn't look crazy. But I wonder when I get this black watch because i'm going to uh, how long it'll take to nick and see the the like or underneath we will see yeah but it's othe wise literally the same watch so .
yeah but it's a new bands also that matched that really I don't like the titanium or whatever is the like stealing to one. But that will loop look so good I .
can Green up like a milon's loop. I don't know, really. Yeah, I might try to be a millie loop guy.
Was IT a million? I thought I wasn't the loop .
because I was that huge buckle .
on the the new one. two.
yes. Mile s and curious about trying.
I don't know. The new trail band, the like black trail band, looks so good. Yes, I actually like the band. I haven't knock off one of my government.
but with window .
I have trail ban as well but like a slightly but that's apple trade ban yeah .
that's actually yeah and the real true ben albo aw, watch I think that .
the watch yeah well, that's the most exciting thing what you talk about so far by a lot but then there's no I P O D S as well. yeah. So air OK, air pod s have a couple different versions actually.
Yeah, airports, baseline airports, four, airports pro. And then I podds max. Some of these are real upgrades. Some of these are fake upgrades. Yeah, airports is for real upgrade the base like, uh, hard tip airports.
There is actually two versions now yeah, and this was kind of confusing in the moment with the keynote, but I think i've figured that a lot, which is basically there's a one twenty nine version and a one seven nine version. Yes, for one twenty nine, you get the new ipads for, so a new shape, new driver, new airpower. S, regular case.
U. S, B, C. They said this case is actually slightly smaller. OK, yeah, so that's one twenty nine. yeah.
But for one seventy nine, you can get airports for with active noise cancellation. And I got to try these. They do have nc and transparently mode and adaptive, whatever they're calling that adaptive idea. And that will also be a wireless charging case with the spc and the speaker in the case. So if you want to find that, we find my I can make noises.
It's funny because they just called the airports for with and c but they also have wireless charging and the speaker and it's like that's a lot more than just A C marketing.
Apple pencil naming all over.
Do do you think they just took an area pod pro and to put the internals .
in kind .
of the airport?
I, I was told the N. C, is about the quality of the airports. S P, first generation.
I, at apple today, I would kind of disagree. And this is only from my very limited, I mean, the divert time. So they're going to have different quality.
That's really where the difference from me is. The hard tip has never fit in my ear very well, and the soft p with the seal has always done way Better. So I tried A N, C with the new airports for with, for, like two minutes, and I can immediately tell, like some sound is still leaking in. So IT is doing a job of cancelling some of the outside sound, but IT is still like leaking some sound. Inverse softish for me.
I'll be interested here because I like those the hard don't fit in my year at all yeah. But every time we mention that, we get a lot of comments like I hate the silicon tips, I only like the regular part. So maybe that just get Better in their years and if they have a good seal, maybe really well, if sure you are one of those people in the next one two, let us know. Yeah, that's Better. yeah.
I'm just really curious if the extra fifty dollars is worth IT for the and c because like you said.
there's no proper but it's not and see you're in to you're in a wireless charging case, which in my opinion is work fifty thousand. I think transparency about is worth .
and the speaker I think .
the speaker easier speaker .
in the case. Yeah .
just .
that the .
stuff I feel like .
that.
Think about I just think it's nice to have if my speaker didn't make no, if my airports didn't make noise, I don't think I would .
even notice and having to read by IT.
you know .
just don't .
lose them yeah you have to be like .
close enough for that toward I agree.
but to sprinkles on top of the main thing, that is the differentiator, which is the active note counselling. And if that's not that much of a different .
charging is the best part, I think. Why is charging .
IT is why is charging .
is the most overrated feature in technology completely?
So these are all .
two types.
There's you either .
love while the charging, or couldn't care less than love anc, or couldn't care less about C. I know if they are fit hard tips in your area. A S there are people .
right now listening this podcasts. Ter, like, David is a freaking idiot. And the other people, like adam, freaking water. literally.
I've moved phones that have rather charging and don't have rathers charging and IT doesn't matter IT matters IT.
We're going to get to the sixty hearts iphone later on the same notes. Just just sit on that for a little longer.
I just want to if why is there an h two chip in the lower ones if there's no anzy?
I believe that is just for a way that represents sound and uses the new drivers and necks is the and then my followup .
question that I don't know of us can I answer is, is the microwave for a nc present in the world here ones too. I guess i'm curious. I think so, not to be a little little nude.
nick. I think I think .
so .
what that means, it's a software feature. They can just turn IT off. Yes.
yes. Yeah, they're the same, but with Better software and a Better case.
lama. I mean, previously they sold the wireless charging case for teen twenty dollars more because they had the airports three without wireless charging and then with wireless charging, and I was twenty bucks more for the case. So are basically charging twenty dollars for the case, thirty dollars for wireless charging.
The graphic on apology concious age to chips and says clearer calls with a voice isolation and the new hands .
through with the interact theory backside to be able to say, yeah.
what we got, we got to test .
the new .
I of the new like phone call noise.
oh yeah.
make a ton of noise and on the.
I do think every single phone of an and headphone of them, they always say that they like .
made that can absolutely you so and I .
thought I was funny too, because they were like, we tested a brazilian different head in your shapes to make sure that IT was even. But they say that every year i'm like, if you took like fifty thousand samples of year shapes, why are changing at constant?
I have a perfect example of why that doesn't matter at all. And is all marketing bush. Do you remember when we went to the microsoft? Uh, we just went for like a couple different things. That was when they first showed us, like the folding surface .
and their support tablet. Do you .
remember the surface bud's bw into this huge different like shapes and sizes of ears, and how they tested IT on all these different shapes size? So it's perfectly. And IT was the domes. Pt, yeah, for those of you who don't remember, I was like, truly wireless airports with this huge circle on the outside so you could like, swipe your powerpoint presentation and they just like, fell out of your ears and they were all for was always so yeah, that was like one of the first things they told this is we made bit .
perfect for every those unfortunate ones, the plastic parts that go, we're like a really stiff, and I like pressed IT, like cut india ear theater.
There's something so funny about like apple that's their have phones and like we can integrate with this with the ecosystem. Like will pg IT to find my will plug in into this microsoft? Like what what do we have? An r equals can come up .
our power teams.
teams.
teams. S it's like good pen as I was like now that the surface pen works on the surface pro, I can hike up a mountain and add in in the excel and shit my altitude by drive in excel cells. That was a real thing that happens OK.
You bring us to bring back on topic system for .
one .
week because I know you're about to into IT.
You can charge the new airports with wireless charging with an apple .
watch charger.
You can charge all the airport .
dds with the with an apple times airport on .
my apple what charger regularly.
So barcas was surprised that this what I told them last time, my .
airports are .
currently charged .
on apple stone. I finally, what yeah yeah IT is handy for, in fact. So yeah, airports for they're coming out. They're also the same Prices, one and nine and one seventy. And then I podd s pro more or less got a software update like physically, they're basically of the same yeah they have h two, but the thing is they have many more health features now.
So can is now a clinical grade hearing aid, which is actually I think pretty sick, I think is a big deal, is pretty awesome ah and IT has a bunch of hearing protection features and hearing health features to help you monitor and reduce that noise exposure. And you can wear them during concerts like we were talking about before. And it'll reduce the sounds but still have the clarity, higher sample rates. All that sounds great, but yeah essentially a software update for airports. S so airpower s pro to the hearing .
test and also so like maybe you get them and you're not even thinking about using them for hearing protection and then you take the test like, oh, boy and then maybe you will start using, yeah hey, that's the good stuff where not a lot of people go out and take that test. But if it's just part of something, you are already, yes, there. How many people are born on an airplane or like boxers, something they're H. I have some my phone. From what I .
understand to that's how you enable to hearing a mode is that you have to take the hearing test and then IT specifically knows what frequencies you're not able to hear. And then IT amplifies the frequencies.
which is not .
a person. And i'm looking at us to .
make sure that that's yeah I think it's I think it's a really cool feature because, uh, over the years, like proper medical hearing aides have actually been sort of getting closer and closer and closer to airports like already ook model hearing aides you can like blue tooth to and and set your devices to them. And like I think some of them a lot of them have like different modes of noise cancelling depending on your environment.
So seem like only a matter of time. Can I tell a funny story of that? Airpower, ds and hearing loss? I'll keep IT really quick.
I prize here. Before I worked here, one of my many, my many jobs was I did lights at nightclubs. So I was in nigh clubs for hours and hours and hours. And it's definitely, and when you're doing lights there, anyone has ever worked with ear plugs now that like a lot of year plugs until you get really expensive ones really make music like not fun to listen to even though it's like they want to hurt your ears. And I discovered pretty early on, like airports pro, excEllent, excEllent, excEllent, excEllent year plus like lowers of volume and keeps a nice city, even super awesome.
Except any DJ you work with when he looks over and sees you at the lighting despite airports in, is like, listen, are you not like, do your job please? No, no, no, no. Pull out your phone that is playing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. okay. This is this is .
very good for a lot of people, obviously, because hearing ads are super expensive and it's like really nice that people are going to be able to start using these. Um it's also very good marketing for apple because now people are going to just be walking around with their podds in their ears all the time, right, which they are kind of we're doing. But now they're going to be doing IT constantly, especially if they have hearing loss. They're like, do you have hearing loss and didn't know IT where these all the time and you're going .
to be able to hear Better? And then IT locks you into the ecosia do android you can hear now for this is an ecosystem.
Can you not use?
You can change I don't think you can change modes if you're using them within android device.
I change about the hearing .
a can do the here, here .
is an apple. Apple is dub best. They are so good at like this is really, really, really good. But also now you get live .
very good future like well played apple, you deserve this one.
But also know it's a bad look if you don't like offer, even if they just made like an android APP to just do the hearing test and control the hearing IT medical things, which I think theyll do I think good and that look.
I think if you ask apple, this is a total guess. But I bet they would say that something in the the age two chip probably .
is the benefit of all that though. And I I saw couple on twitter, twitter about this, just like people follow what apple does. This will probably be in samsung budget and pixel buds and even just other yeah ear buds I would guess within the .
next two years.
Yes, a good point. The samsung google about full AI generate sounds that aren't actually so .
yeah very good marketing on evs part.
Just going to say I feel like the reason that also might not come to android phones because I believe they mentioned that all of the data is stored to the health APP.
Yeah, they did.
And it's probably .
I think and I think the other .
reason is apple wants to make a ton of money. Next.
over the bigger max air pods, max up of about air pod s max for second, and zoom in on my face, apple airports max team. Specifically, what have you been doing for the past four years? I just wanted I am curious if you have an account, maybe leave a comment below and let me know we want to come a retired just because I just look at your website and I saw the kino and I just wanna double check and make sure this is true.
The only thing that you changed from all the, from all the feedback that you heard for the past four years, four years from one airports, max, came out because you saw the reviews, right? You saw how much we like the sound, but you saw how much we hated the first case. You saw how much hate the heavy they are.
You saw how much we wanted IT to have an on off button, right? And I like that you can, like, take the air cups off with the magnet, and design is pretty cool, but that mesh was not great, right? So you know, we know there are things that are bad about airports.
Max, some curious. In the last four years I have run down here. All you did, all you did was an D U S B type sy and colors.
Now, look, I appreciate USB type c as much as anyone. That's actually my number one feature I wanted on the air pods max. So this is the air pods max refresh USB type c. But then you didn't do check here anything else and do anything.
There is an h two chip in the one hundred and twenty nine dollar, and there is in eight one chip in the four hundred and four, five hundred.
forty nine dollar, five .
hundred and forty .
dollars, four refresh, same Price, h one ship, same drivers, same sound, same lack of a power button, same mesh, same stupid first case. What have you been doing this whole time? I'm just curious if you could leave a table .
without the amazing hard take long time, I think .
even runs with the orage.
Of course, I am glad .
we don't do performance reviews here because like I felt like I was getting in trouble there.
Team, right?
Like it's apple. They they have people whose job IT is to work on airport. O D, S. Max, right? That's not crazy.
Those those people are going paid how and they made orange.
I will say their target demographic for these generally is just people who just want to look cooked.
I fully think that you're right. The target demography doesn't care. And this is true about a lot of things that we talk about on this show.
And like complaint about general was like actually most people probably won't care. Why do you even need an age to chip? Why do whatever? It's fine. The headphones are you but like it's the in, yes, the principle and in the world all the uh other products exist.
Like if you if you really check like google, why google noise cancelling headphones and just look at what's available to you four hundred of dollars last year and then tell me this is a good idea to buy. This product doesn't fit. I see so many .
people in brooklyn running with airport D D S. max. And there are the heavy est way. So is so heavy and they're so expensive and you're going to like get the mechanical sweating growth and it's crazy like .
zones mark three, mark four or mark fives would be Better that the lighter that connect your iphone. So the reason that I said in the video, I probably i'm going to end up getting the airports, max, is because I specifically fly with these had phones yeah and when I filed the sad phones, I start off on walking onto the plane with a connected to my phone, either listening to music, podcast or whatever i'm doing.
And then when i'm on the plane, I switched them back and forth between my laptop and my phone because i'm doing things on my laptop and back to my phone and to the whatever chip like the airports switch easily. And it's great and that's me about them and they have a great newest cancellation. But I just say that they're lightning.
So I probably am still going to fly with them. But like I said, i'm onna try to become an an airpower s pro person because airbuses with the silicon tips they worked for me. I think the noise cancel tions pretty good. I think the sound quality is pretty good, and I think they will still deter people from trying to talk to me. I'm going to try .
yeah I do you think we're getting a new pair airports, max at .
all this year? no.
But do you think there's another event somewhere for ipad or anything?
And no, I think for the next four years they going to maybe look, if you ask me before last event, they would change is U S, B, C. And nothing else. That's exactly what I would say. No way. They don't adjust anything.
My bet isn't years because of all the than four .
years you'll see something that's a good yes.
they can't do IT too soon because they just release these, but they can't wait another four years, otherwise theyll be eight year old headphones. 嗯。
which isn't say what beyond dyson force. But .
yeah, would you rather have these, where the dyson have found are, even then airports.
that the ad is so much Better.
the adding pretty good. The .
bad .
life .
is double.
I like add.
they all have one critical flaw.
And the sono is the APP. And also, like the cups, a little shallow I like .
the APP is the list of my worries for once it's connected in going on pretty happy.
totally. yeah. Well, we got a lot more to talk about. We got ta get to the phones, of course, so we should take a quick break and get to those. But before we do, it's been a minute .
since we've done this .
less to trivia decides.
okay, that's IT. So um I guess if you want to like this time, I guess I think at one point .
we just committed to we pride will be stuck in this studio so you come back.
Yeah, and it's muslim memory. Guys had developed this like like a subscribed thing. Yeah yeah.
Guys, yesterday there is an apple of them. No way. And you know what that means? That means today. He was two days ago.
You been here. Oh, my god.
all .
well.
were you paying .
attention or bad?
He doesn't even know.
I remember the first question.
First question.
where are .
who are cool? Apple does not now and has never made a single device with a 3d display。 And no, vision pro doesn't count .
with a three d display.
However, during in my question I wrote yesterday and two totally right out during .
monday's event.
apple use to determine three d twice in their presentation what two products they use the term three d while presenting. And I don't need how they used IT.
I don't need the.
I just need this.
They did not sider did not say I know, but I feel like that should be considered a three display because he was the display that you pressed into.
I think he .
met like three fish I know.
but IT was called David are .
now two points behind OK dying. Well, there is only so many Price to talk about.
so I feel like .
we can really think this one through everyone.
else.
Support for the show today comes from net sweet, wondering what the future holds for the economy. So do economists and market experts. Is IT a bull or a bear market? Is inflation up or down? How does AI affect at all?

The guy is free to you at net week com sash way form next sweet dot com slash way for right. Welcome back. Let's talk the new iphones that were announced at this september event, iphone sixteen, sixteen plus, sixteen pro and sixteen pro max.
If you have an hour to seen the first impressions video, IT is up on the main channel. You can get to get look at the phones. You can get a good look at the specs here.
My first actual thoughts about what's happening with the state of the iphone. That's your short version. But there's a whole lot to dig in to just because there's a lot happening that we didn't get to with that video. Um but i'll just lay out the basic expects first and then we can just sort to jump into .
each phone we for to that yeah just the regular iphone sixteen looks different and I think looks great with the .
new camera bomb.
Do yes esthetics aesthetically before we dive into the nativity, bringing you back to that like stacked small camera bump like that I think looks so much Better than when I was the stack camera bump at a big square and turn into directed yeah.
I don't think you're alone. I think a lot of people like the new colors and the new looks of the baseline iphone ones yeah and then the pro phones are like fade like desert and titanium colors again, which is not new. But that's that's the colors so right about bright, viBrant colors with sixteen.
The sixteen and sixteen plus are the same Price in the same sizes last year. But the main differences now are slightly Better cameras, slightly Better chip. It's the eighteen to be faster, but are no engine and a .
IT has an action button and a car control.
Cindy, because not that long. go. We are wondering if they were going to get rid of everything I know on the outside. Remember they? I read the heavy jack and everyone went, what about other and everything more yeah the pro sixteen pro and pro max also get the ad camera control button, but they also get larger displays with their vessels so six point three and six point nine inch screens that is huge phone and uh they also get even more camera updates. Uh, new ultra, mostly a forty eight ultra, and both sizes now have the five X L photo instead of just the big phone having a five .
photo and the fusion camera.
you have a confusion camera. Yeah which? Okay, not sure exactly what that means, but I get there.
Yeah okay. And that's kind of IT with the Price. Yeah no. A A, A teen Price is the chip which by the way.
I looked into IT and IT looks like IT has one more GPU core.
Now it's pro that we trace rays, baby trace the rays yes so that basically what's happening um I think easily the most fascinating part is a camera control button on all these stones. There are so many interesting things about this button so I guess I just explain yeah what IT is now we can give her though, right? OK, so yeah, on the bottom right and corner of the phone, underneath the power button, there's a new button on the phones.
IT is a button, yeah. And IT is flush with the side of the phone. And when you press IT, IT opens the camera.
And then from there, IT is a touch sensitive, pressure sensitive capacity surface that can scroll and half press to continue doing things with the camera. IT can dive into the camera APP settings. IT can change camera settings.
IT can take photos. And it's supposed to get update at some point to give IT a two stage like half press to focus and full press to take the photo. So it's just for cameras.
which by the way, is coming soon.
What is that? What why is that coming soon? I don't know.
This seems like apple has a rule where they, like guys every time released an iphone. We have have one camera feature that doesn't launch ready. I pressed to focus every thing that's taking a that .
doesn't go in, but still like ruling and .
stuff works from the phone.
from the star. Yeah, okay.
we yeah. So just your half press to focus is not coming until later. K, but that will also be able to be plugged into or tapped into by third party APP developers who also make apps that use the camera.
So this, again, just camera control. But if you make snapp chat, you make how light if you make is a highlight, highlight. If you make holiday, if you make instagram, if you make final cut camera for apple, any of these apps use the camera. They can also take a entity of that scaling .
surface to do camera stuff, which is cool. It's cool. Yeah, you to I to IT is their feeds does that good?
Yes, it's a very nice click.
And in the hf click you can definitely tell .
us a half as really you .
can feel the stroling. The problem that I felt was that just like the rabbit or one when I launched with the acceleration of the volume, nob was like not high enough and you had to like really move IT IT felt the same way for me.
Or like the acceleration wasn't quite high enough because you can have the well, at least when I was using IT, maybe my maybe I don't have good to think your print something, but when I was swiping my finger, they kind of felt like I would do like two full swipes in order to like do a full zoom. okay? Yeah IT IT didn't move quite as much as I wanted IT to. I wanted IT to be slightly more sensitive.
I found actually the opposite interesting. Ly, I found that because IT has this like physics scaling, and you can swipe and IT keeps going after you let go, which the rabbit didn't do. Yeah, I was score too far exactly. Sometimes I IT shouldn't have that. I like, I be like, we actually used to definitely to get used.
I was going to say I would rather be reached like saying, because, like, it's so much more annoyed if you're trying to like zoom something you go too far then you try to cover up.
I like fly. I think I should like be reached but just like be more sensitive to my .
micro swipes .
yeah unit will be adjustable eventually obviously thing I can yeah .
yes but I as right now, it's like you can double tap in and it'll let you change the f stop in porter mode or let you change the tone or the zoom amount or which lands are shooting with or whatever. Just by spring round in the camera.
there was a lot of misinformation about the button. A lot of people we're saying this is a just a solid state button, just like the macbook pro track pad and IT doesn't actually click in and you just feel like it's click in. IT is a real button, but he also has the tactic engine in IT to help IT feel like that click is more than IT is and also to allow for the reaching like swiping gesture.
IT enhances the click. IT allows for like the the two stage click to feel more like solid um yeah so IT has both, but IT is a physical one, which is actually quite surprising because again, like you were saying about getting rid of all the button eventually, we also expected apple to eventually have buttons but just have them be solid date yeah so yeah it's interesting that they're keeping physical. S so I have a lot .
of interesting thoughts about this thing in particular thought. Number one, I would have not been shocked at all if this was only on the proof ones yet. This feels like a thing that they would go.
This is really complicated. This is just a camera feature. This is like allowing you to mess with the settings and camera dal things in this.
So feels like a pro only phone feature. And there would be a reason to buy the prose exactly every reason to separate them. And when they're on all of the phones, I was happy, but I was very surprised by that. That's number one thought.
Number two is apple also introduced cases that they talked about and they had a moment where they had to explain that there is actually like a piece of glass or like ceramic in the case that extends the yes, r IT stands that out so that it's still flush, but you can still feel the swiping in the hat and transfers the capacity exactly through the glass. I thought that was fascinating. yeah.
They do that with their own first party cases. IT will be up to other third party case manufacturer of how they want to handle this button. Will they try that too? Or will they just do a deep cut out? Like i'm to ask the brand for sure.
I want to talk to case manufacturers. I'll socking Michael Fisher at the event. He was like we're just gonna a cut out on the card case and maybe like a soop down and a soop up for IT. So you can like you can still touch the actual saffire of the phone, but it's not like IT.
Seems like that's what most case manufacturers are doing because a lot of them have r showed off their cases and they just a huge divide in the side of the phone yeah but like an order box case is going to have a huge cut out yeah.
I thought that there was another really interesting thing to pay attention to with this. And and then third is just, what else would I do like what third party manufacturer or third pretty at makers do with this camera button? If you don't make a APP with nothing you can do with that?
Yeah, the how light up examples were really cool because there was a bunch of different modes that you could put on IT. There is one where you would swipe and I would like show different grid lines. See, you could have like you could change the amount of gid lines that you'd had. There is another one that showed basically um I don't remember what the technical term for this is, but when you that shows all of the different lens like IT shows the White angle but then I will show boxes inside of that to show that would be if you switch to that land, there's a name for I.
I, I, I, I and I was in guard one, but couldn't swipe ines that would show, would show on different like social media sites. H copped one by one.
I think OK yeah yes, you could do like one by one or sixty nine and never show all these different like form tats so that you could when you're filming, you know, okay, I can film in horizontal o and I can just crop later and able, still fit in the one by cool or nine sixteen.
My last thought is that apple at no point ever call this a button. They always call the camera control. You never call the button. And it's just just been sitting in the back of my head like, why do their fuse called button? Do they really not wanted to be button til they wanted to someday just be like A A solid state thing and not be a button airports pro?
I think it's the same thing. Yeah, I think they're just trying to brand things and just make them .
definitively apple. But they could call IT a camera button here.
They call airpower .
ds pro as opposed .
to what I pod pros. Well.
just mean refusing to use the word button here. That's why I am. Yeah, i'm like, okay, you can call the camera control button. You can call the camera button. Yes, they're calling the .
can control does feel more like a software feature.
is a hardware software. And IT happened to have a hardwood.
Ece, yeah. And I imagine someday in the future, they get rid of the physical click .
and trackpad camera's control.
高铁 电池 actually .
know that I think about。 So my one thought was IT seems that this is only available for camera things because that could be an awesome, but into map different apps, things like maybe growing on a page that having a picture pixel, I think that was the pixel that had .
the back mounted fingerprint reader and you could swipe down on the finger period to move down the page that was aten.
Maybe they're not calling in a bug that you're expecting to be able to things outside of the camera .
with the yeah yeah to be fair, rachael ly was IT is kind of a little out of the way yeah like you have it's kind of split the difference between like where would Normally be on a horizontal phone and also being able to get I think .
it's a good place. They specifically said that they put in there because they wanted to be in a good place for horizon ts and horizontal shots and vertical shots. Yeah.
that was my second point. The first time they showed off there like, don't move your hand out of the way to take this photo and was a portrait photo like standing up and I like that feels like everyone is expecting that to be landscape and to be like a Normal camera. And the first song that shoulders just kind of like awkward dly holding IT, where your thing would just be like one inch to the left on the soft one.
But IT is cool that when you use that IT kind of wipes away the U. I. Of the camera in general, you can see more. And all you have to do is use that really cool. Swipe down yeah not now another notch and iphones also, which is kind of also yeah you know .
that I like that apple been doing with the camera stuff every year is like, yes, they're doing the like oh yeah lens is are Better, like everything is Better, but they've been modifying the software over and over again to try to make this a Better experience as a replacement or a secondary camera like pores log, like all of that kind of stuff. We don't really get that kind of stuff and android phones that often and it's nice that they're like, okay, now we have a physical button so that you can attach IT to this and then add the gid lines into all the stuff and just try to make IT IT like A B cam.
You're not using A U slog.
I think that kind of wraps into .
my .
last point, really. Gog.
oh my god. No, no, no.
no, no. I just .
get that. Um but apple is not the first person that I came about onto a phone, but is not proof again that they're never the first. But when they do when they add something, they generally do a really good job, because they obviously thought super deep into this by having different types of pressing sling interacting with the U.
I. Super, super well. So like a good adding something so small that's been .
done multiple times before a shooters.
This now mean that apple has the most complicated camera.
No.
what do you think .
is the most placated camera tone? So yes, even after camera experience.
yeah, they have a bunch of apps. And everything about the apps just looks exactly like a alpha, an alpha camera. Yeah, yeah.
And now you can say we've ever .
talk about experience phones.
but yeah the the pro really is still mostly just a Better camera. Yeah and there are, I guess, a couple other things because like I I can by and eight hundred doors, six years phone, I can't do IT. I just there is something in my brain that just like seize the chop and I can't use six years phone anymore, yes, but there are a lot of people who literally don't care.
I was reading a red thread as I got on the plane that like made me really mad and is probably why and get too much sleep, which is, which is there are people who will use the phone for a while and then theyll try hundred twenty years phone to go. This scrolling is too smooth to go back to that a real people as a thread about on my people. Yeah, I gave you to my cousin. He was like, ill.
It's too smooth out. Come on. So while you shoot ty.
yes, we are. So it's mainly people are getting the pro for the camera and there are things like four eight hundred twenty hurts or four eight hundred twenty F P S video that's sick.
which by the way is enabled by the fusion camera.
yes. And eighteen pro probably um and it's things like a larger, brighter display. great.
It's the same actually brighter. Oh, it's so just bigger. You can get a six point nine.
Does this is the thing though like they both go under one IT now they both go up to two thousand and it's the exact same display except for the promotion will and that extra .
tell photo length and the G P U core like you're it's not the whole time. So the pro phones are more expensive and our titania, but that's really getting I mean, I think A R is faster, make .
safe. This is an updated across the sixteen line is that they all now support twenty five what mag safe, which which I think because they kind of donated the the mag safe thing to cheat too. But g two charges on the iphones will only charge at fifteen wants, but now application new mag safe pucks that you have to buy separately that charge five votes, but you have to use these yeah so yeah, that's not just a problem, you know, that's on all of them. So you get the faster USB three .
transfer speeds, like you always 5P, V, O, three thousand, you can get that off.
I pitched the studio show idea at eric of speed, running how fast you can use all the story on a .
baseline iphone, or how .
fast can you open the box set up, and just immediately issue one four video.
Yeah, that would be really funny. Yeah, so that you know the same Prices to its seven ninety nine to start the sixteen plus eight ninety nine, the pro nine ninety nine and the pro max eleven ninety nine. Sneaky update. Maybe battery, maybe.
Oh, right. T, B, T, they said they made, the battery is bigger. They meet.
yeah. And they said they have the longest battery ones. They are even bigger.
apparently ones. So we'd looked into a little bit more and you found that on the compare site for apple, they're saying like a video playback goes from twenty to twenty two hours. Yeah so that's from regular to pro, from feet.
Yeah, fifteen, sixteen, sixteen. Oh, 6。 yeah. So okay, slightly Better. Yeah I just I want to use IT and figure out if I can tell the difference between, uh, this old phone in the new phone battery wise, but i'm never going mad. Extra battery, I think that's great.
Yeah I mean, I like they get down one t now because i've complained before about .
you know letting in bed and be like you on a plane yeah um so I guess last but not least is just a brief front, which is that this whole event was called like its glow time, referring to seri and the new glow animation and the new apple intelligence stuff. And they did not spend a short amount time talking about, like rehashing all of this stuff. Hey, guess what? Writing tools? Hey, guess what? jane? Ji Y S what? Image playground. Not a single one of these features launches .
with the phone yeah. And when they open the iphone, when they opened up about a time of the heart of .
the iphone 7 to start the keynote, talk about how these were the first iphone built from the ground up to be apple intelligence.
I think he said with A I and machine learning, he said A I and machine learning in the first one minute of him talking artificial intel, ge, apple and final intel .
to their credit, they might be right, like these phones have fast neural engines. They have, i'm sure, lots of memory and will be really good at this, but they don't launch with IT. They're not ready yet.
And by the time they do launch, we'll be in beta. And it's still like kind of slowly rolling out. And this is what I talk about. The impressions video is okay.
I ve literally reviewed the a rabbit, I reviewed the human pen, like I have to talk about the products as they exist when I review them and when I review the iphone sixteen. IT will not have any of these features, and I have to review IT without any of these features. And how do we also review all of the features they're promising if .
they're not there? At one later video, we've been going apple. The next is like the top down with nothing in IT and a cricket and then click.
i'm looking forward to a lot of them, and i've been using them in the I O S eighteen one developer beta that's out now yeah um there is no I eighteen that one develop for beta for the iphone sixteen. So yeah look that it's C A iphone is good time. It's apple intelligent where one s just say no yeah even though the advanced like search .
for your photos Better like that's not even that's .
not there yeah anything in the apple intelligence umbrella .
so it's crazy yeah it's crazy. It's crazy town even I don't know.
It's like population like one .
october is when the eighteen point one public beta comes out. It's not even when 7 point one s so when is eighteen point one even coming out? IT could not even come out this year that be there.
That would be so wild if I didn't come out this if you bought an iphone for this much money and didn't get the heart of IT yeah for four months yeah I feel like .
this isn't the last time we're going to be having this problem.
That's why O I agree with that and which is why I feel like there has to be an adjustment to the golden rule that i've said so many times because the golden role, as i've said, IT, is to never via product based on the promise of future software updates. And that's why we talk about cars and phones and and anything that has some beta vapor where promise that never comes out.
We can also like told you so like you should buy the thing that you like now and use IT expecting IT to be that way forever. And any software is our bonus. However, with all these AI features constantly being slowly rolled out and not being ready to ship, getting announced but not coming out till later, IT feels like there needs to be some dimension of do we trust the company that this comes from and how likely is this software update to actually come out? Because there are there are levels to this.
There is tesla autopilot levels of what has ever come out. Pixel drop. There is yeah pixel feature drops.
There's apple intelligence, which we expect to slowly all out over the next couple. Six years. And it's just a question of how likely is this update to actually happen.
I think you can say what the company says they will do, but also just be extremely clear that it's not there yet and that you maybe at some point I will be there, but that can really affect you are review because .
this is like the most this is the biggest dot we've ever I have personally ever seen in a phone where it's like this is the glow time event. This is the apple intelligence phone. And the reason apple is selling you to buy this phone is this is the best one for apple intelligence. This one will have all this stuff we're basically and buy yeah when you buy IT, IT literally does none of that yeah I can't ignore that. But there's gonna .
be some eventually eighteen, about one on the fifteenth doesn't even have like gene mojo or probably the most important part of apple intel gent, which is the ability for theory to reach n to absent. Do actually for you the whole thing that remis said I was going to do and never released at all because IT doesn't exist, right? Apple so far is also very pertwee. So I would really like to see this actually come out. But we can anyone free and play with IT.
but there is a part of my brain that's like, I think I can treat apple and rabbit differently because I have different levels of trust for them .
to eventually .
ship the thing. So but that that total suspect.
I think saying what they say they will do but also be like but but if we can test IT ah is could you like say could you literally name .
iphone sixteen review part one now and say like and I have to do a part two later half ens.
google does next think .
the blanket stain of do .
not purchase something based. So I think the difference is what you're saying is don't purchase something based on future, future promises because I still don't think you should do that. That future promise might not come out.
And phone phone lifespans are much shorter than a car lifespan when tesla was, uh, scaling you, you have you're like to keep my car for longer. Maybe you come out IT was sorely disappointing when I didn't for that. But like if you're not talking for months and you upgrade your phone even every two years, twenty was that twenty percent of your phones life, ten percent of your phones life. Now he doesn't come with the thing you bought IT for yeah.
you're buying IT because of that. You seen how the serious the apps or even works. We've seen just screen shots .
of I saw the .
existing of cowboy and but I did not see the genesis of .
covey and .
that it's like a slight experiment, like if you look at the light is a wave, and at the time, if you look at all, I drive .
IT exists. But if you don't.
it's not generated deep cut for my physical nerves .
out there. All again.
a superposition quantum .
and double .
singers act as particles .
and way yeah.
I guess that is called this double sanction yeah .
basically it's if you want .
to answer the question is like like I just think like a particle way the answer is literally IT depends if you've look at .
IT or night yeah, sort of such the bear.
the woods.
Yeah, shoting is shooting is .
their ways. Guys, I think this apple intelligence is genius. Hotch, right, because rabbit, A I company, A I features came out. Big stinker.
Human, yeah, because they didn't come. A I company.
big, big come out. Big stinker. Apples doing a right man, they just going to keep pick in the car down the road, never released this stuff. They'll get all that eventually with all the AI stuff to pass will be over. And then they can .
just quietly back into the .
this yeah put the covers. We all forget about IT. There are raised so much capital, so much hype and never heard anybody you know.
you say that, Alice. But like that's a real strategy. I mean.
have some companies .
use time were even like i'm trying to think of another good example, but like a device will launch and the one like kind of cool headline maker demo feature will be like shown at the beginning, but then I won't launch with IT and then after like a long time, it'll quietly get added .
back a define like not .
that .
cool like of a headline like I think think like a big tech demo, I am a cool and like, oh, well, this is the one that has IT. Nobody else paid, so goes on sale and people buy. And they like, this is so cool yeah.
And even sometimes reviewers will get a beta version, so we get to like show IT on camera, yes. And then I just won't ship forever. I want to suffer.
does that a lot with software. Google will like about something and then they'll just like wait so longer released at the people, forget about IT and then they'll be some rent that that's never coming, not even generate A I can fix the chaining infants. Man, that's that's forever gone. Do you know how every well.
I don't know every iphone has done this, but you know like after six months, they released a new color to like drum up height for the iphone again yeah and do you think that's what these A I features are going to be now moving forward? They released the phone .
and then like six months, you'll get all these cool other A I feature that would at the nounce .
ural ah image .
announcing a color at the event and saying it's not working on anger guys .
oranges really and you can preorder right .
there is have you sometime .
to feel like we .
all take IT for granted .
that software takes time. So like the development of IT, like fixing bugs will take time. We all just kind of understand that, but I kind of just feels like they'll just drop at whatever they want. Yeah, we don't know what is coming out. What is gene mojo coming out?
We don't I don't know. And i'm so frustrated because have been working on a video about geneology like six months.
I actually think geneology looks really cool. Well, too bad it's not coming .
out for my time. Our video s say two years when comes out?
Yeah anyway, we should stop and we're gonna view the we're the ones eventually stay tend for and yeah, I know let us know what you think of these are are they they are where are they coming soon? Should we have some degree of like how much we trust the company? I'm just curious if hugely for comments about that .
I want to use this episode gets ten thousand like markets won't even review the iphone.
Yeah also not enough of you guys likes the previous episode. Some markets came back.
Is that what .
happened? My that so now go like sugriva ah go like so we're going to a quick break, go to talk about like P S, I promote quick stuff. But before we do take that quick break, we to talk about trivia.
a trivia .
do all right. Question to were .
you paying a time?
Thank you, Alice. Question to speaking of apple intelligence features that may never have, they had one where instead of asking the person what kind of dog they had, they pointed a camera that .
the future is the funniest .
interaction.
like fake interaction ever. Just this woman walking her dog and a guy comes up and like, doesn't ask what kind of dog .
he gets up. One e he .
asked the .
world part.
he goes, can take a picture of your dog and he goes, sure and he goes, sir, 我看 i'm right here。
So a question, what kind .
of dog was IT? I remember?
Oh, I remember.
You know.
I can write this right now.
I think I was like a pup.
pup, pup, pup, pup.
save IT for the later.
I'm stuck between two. And I think that just similar.
He was a mix. He was a cat.
We we're going to say if you can figure out what of just. Just just like you so just .
immediately, right, your doctor, like delusional, needs help.
Kind of dog is this? This is a bag of chips. That's what the robot would do.
Anyway, we all think about those 不给 我 打。

I welcome back. There was a lot of apple news, but we also have some other very big news in the technology sphere. This week, for some reason, everyone decided to drop all the stuff, the week of apple event, which is usually the worst possible thing to do.
I think .
it's alright like probably.
you know, if you decide to announce your thing the day of the iphone announcement, yes, what I said the miles and what I said .
the miles could you can in put out?
Yeah.
can put out. And they put out where a new camera and I was like, so it's.
I think red flag or like delusional confidence yeah.
very, yeah. Very, very. Last year, yes, that's true. Because last year the D. G, X, one hundred mark came out the and fug asked me like, hey, you do in anything on september tenth and they asked me that in April and I was like, the apple event is that day probably and they are like, whatever?
Like what are you doing? Even even all the camera reviews are at the apple event. yeah. So they can't be at your event.
Yeah, that happened to one plus anyway. So what happened?
What happened this week? Ah, okay, play station five pro from my gamers out there. I'm not a gamer, really. I played that.
You try to buck.
I did not yet. Someone, someone did tweet at me and ask if I tried IT yes, I need to try okay anyway, um SONY has been helping, like very low key, the place station five for a long period of time through you, like little intentional leaks that they've been doing the pro, the pro sorry, placation five pro yeah ah and they finally officially announced IT. The'd had like an eleven minute technical demo presentation with the guy that's in charge of the engineer.
Hey, hey, IT was twenty minutes, but ten of those minutes where .
account down nice. Okay, IT is Better than the Normal P。 S. Five in a few key ways he has a bigger GPU with forty five percent faster rendering and sixty seven percent more compute units and twenty eight percent faster memory.
IT is also using play station new spectral super resolution which is like invidia D L S S which is an upscale um and in the whole point of IT is to try to not make users choose between fidelity and framing. This is basically everything that they were talking about, doing the technical that presentation. They were like you have the option of doing higher fidelity, but then the frame rate is like thirty fps or lower or you can do higher frame rate but lower resolution.
Now the very funny thing about this presentation was they showed a bunch of games on P. S five versus P. S five pro. And they were like, wow, look at the graphical difference and you could seem the zero difference, they looked exactly the same like I was very, very, very difficult to see any difference between the games. So IT seems kind of wild to release like a perversion of this when they're not releasing any games that with IT that I need to take advantage of the resolution or the fidelity. And it's also seven hundred dollars.
Well, there are some. I guess i'm assuming that like the games now that make you choose won't make you choose anymore because right now, when I play like there's a picture like a racing game or it's like do you want like full fork and lower framework or do you want like the high, like the shadows and yeah but like law and I imagine all of those games will not make me choose anymore, which is maxed out everything yeah that's cool. That's cool.
But like he was showing the differences between the lower resolution and the higher frame y and you really could not tell the difference between the lower resolution and the higher resolution versions.
but he picks up everything.
Yeah, I was like, if you zoom in into this back corner across the street, you could see that miles Morales reflection .
is staring at this. IT was the most minor thing ever. So a lot of people are kind of upset about IT IT some other upgrades. IT can now support A K nobody doesn't AK displays. That doesn't matter.
And now has wifi 7k tvs。 Technically I don't have an I kv yeah ah now comes with a two terrific with an SSD expansion and slot available, but there is no disc option. And inside they will be selling an eighty dollar disaster ached for your physical.
even the crop acik had a blue, red player. And the P. S. 5 pro is not。
But the great specific cost for fifty thousand. And this is, we said, seven hundred dollars. Yeah, the prose, the that have a disk player well.
there was, there was a disk version and a discuss version of the regular psi.
right. So but the disguise was kind of like assuming people are going to buy all other games in the store and not like have local media and they probably will have less games yeah because they're all like on the council yeah but the people who have like a tonic games are going to want the disk yeah and the pro, either that or just a lot of storage .
as a two k player. Do you buy the desk or do you know I know there's a lot of sports people who like that cover of like the H L. Game each year, big news. And people like to buy IT when like your team or a player you like yes actually occurs to be on .
IT is I hope that's not I know with matter there's the matter .
curse yeah I think that's also true about OK or are they just .
lose so um but yeah, you can buy an eighty dollar disk attachment. I could see people getting pretty d about that yeah people are pretty upset. Obviously maybe they just didn't show good examples of the higher um then maybe i'll be Better person, but who knows anyway, I get to check IT out P S S.
M right now. Yeah for five hundred dollars.
yes. yeah. So yeah it's gonna be coming .
out september twenty six. I'm sorry. Priores open on september twenty six and the launches november seven.
Okay, enough time for us to like due techteam stuff and look at our hands up in the on time. Yes, sick.
Ah okay. Last thing is why we finally officially uh released in IT will announced there why we may X T try fold phone and we finally got to see how IT folds. And I felt really dumb when I realized that falls because I remembered that wall way.
Falda phones are our exterior folding phones, not interior. This is both. Yes, yeah. But the the top screen folds exterior.
yeah I believe it's top screen right side is the yeah and then that falls out from their need to be one regular fold. And then that falls out from underneath, I think doing with my hands back just so much .
of using as a video I I think .
I think me try to do with my hands last time is what made is so confusing. So I take my .
only beef is that calling in a try fold, but it's actually a two fold.
This is actually what I would like every fordable to be, because IT is a six point foreign display when IT is closed. But then when you open IT, IT is a horse zonal aspect er show ten point two inch three k display, which is so sick. The problem I have with a the hamburger, no hot dog style for tables right now, like the google picks nine fold or the galaxy z fold six or whatever, or the one was fold, is that when you open them up, it's like a square aspect.
a and then you don't really get that much Better screen, real state and wide .
screen videos. The crop .
actually give you wider. It's still definitely black.
You will be like an ipad. Yeah, it's awesome. Yeah, it's so sick. Decrees are like there. The photos looked like they were pretty intense. Except when you're looking at the full on a straight on, you don't really notice to be .
very like a lot of falling function like that. It's easy to get a good glare and see IT yeah most of time when you're using a, it's pretty good noticing IT IT as much.
You can also use one, two or three of the panels at a time. So one would be when is closed. Two would be one of them is still fulled IT on the back, which I assume is for like when you're taking pictures of another persons so they can see themselves when you're taking the photo.
So is like half open, okay? yeah. And then three is when it's all the way .
open in taboo mode there so many different forms in one.
Yeah and they were were like in this.
like like many five in one shape or condition.
They were touting that you should be using IT with like a keyboard in a mouse, which is really sick. I, I love.
I just love this. I want to see. D, yeah. If I had to say if, depending on how IT all works, that type of folding outsize is what I would be OK with, go into a fold, because I would want a significant difference in when you open up all the way. And this is that, yes.
is still look a little bit chunky. But I would, I would, I would use that for for the convenience of having a giant tablet.
Wa, hundred dollars yet.
two thousand eight hundred. USB, three.
Going back to our earlier conversation about you're either delusions or very confident, they announced this .
a couple hours after which, by the way, to do because this was like the least innovative iphone.
Great too. He got some hope. That is four million.
three orter. Yeah, we're talking about IT.
That's what said what there clearly. Hy, I saw a lot of IT on twitter and tech twitter at least. Yeah, it's I mean, we can even use them in the U. S.
right? So no, it's not that big of a deal for us. Personally, I want to see, but I think people .
are pumped about the deal. Yeah, so cool. Yeah, I know, know.
I think it's gona be a number of years before we see A U. S. Manufacturer start making something like this, unfortunately. Who's going to do the first quad fold?
That's .
basically cropper .
phone the phone .
like it's.
Then when you flip IT out.
IT has a little fortune written inside.
Well, that, no, we talked about this one enough. We should. We should wrapped this, that we talked a lot. Last thing we should do is get to the answer the trivial questions trively time. I have to leave my answer to the second question at the bottom because I want to forget that .
I wrote IT already .
to the second question first.
Oh.
okay, yeah. I was kind of expecting .
to say, no. I thought I would be funny. So .
all .
right, quick update on the score markets with sixteen Andrew in the lead with twenty David following up with nineteen yeah error.
Has your .
back field like for real?
Well, I mean, you've got to you're like relieved you're not Carrying ing that one anymore.
Bro, you ve got all .
that weight off. I'm Carrying .
the one that's craze. google.
I not sure why is at some point in the past, we wrote my name down on the score sheet and Carry the one.
Google with negative three and markets while you were gone in. David pierce, hop on for a productivity check up with anger. So he got a point as well. So he, I have added .
three tasks to my google task, and I did this task and I never checked them .
off when .
there did the important part.
Yeah, I did IT for David.
But all right, here's your question. okay. During the event, when they were showing off apple's visual intelligence, which is basically just google ends, someone walked up to a dog. And instead of asking them what kind of dog IT was, took a picture of IT and use apple intelligence to identify the breed. What breed was that animal?
Get the sport right? No, okay.
The look markets just gave me. Baby didn't really focus over there.
yeah. Are you trying .
to figure how to spell IT?
Or are you just so confident .
he's writing in this?
You no flip mini. What do you again?
Like, oh, that's the way IT was .
an australian. Like, sheep dog, thank wait.
cattle dog and sheep dog, I think are two very different dogs really. I know you are trying to say I show in cattle dog because that's the other thing I was thinking of. These two dogs kind of the resembLance IT does look .
like what you wrote. But yeah, and precious, said australian cattle dog, when I was on the keynote stage, I .
give .
that .
a .
blue .
hiller.
Yeah, David.
I review, right?
What dull nation? No nation.
We all all. There is no difference .
between .
a blue healer and australian cattle dog.
Okay, well, then they are the same. great. That's impressive. But I noted that is set australian catalog because just in australia and I was like australian because that's why I remembered. But I get that I guess that's .
correct of there was a kind .
of .
australian, I think that that should I can.
all blue healers are australian .
catalogues.
but not all .
australian.
IT was not necessarily .
a blue healer. And .
technically, what do you think? No.
no, I find that getting IT sorry, this is very funny. And this is says, but what about the blue healer? Do they measure up to the australian cal characteristics? They most certainly do because they .
are the same road.
Measure up because I was also looking for, they showed of words, australian red dog on the phone and looking.
I think .
it's pretty. I and I .
all dogs, alia dalia. Alia 栋, alia german.
I have fun is a great episode, but apple did say three d twice during the event. What two products do they say? Three d during. And yes, I realized now only after asking the question how .
specific you have to be on the product.
Like giving an example.
yes, if there's a pro and what .
do you think I feel like me if you .
guys I need .
to because otherwise there's only like three products you need to name two of them. I really did not good job with this question.
I tried to get this all right.
who want you to go burst?
I rote airports for apology ten. Let me make sure .
IT wasn't the ultra .
and pretty sure .
that .
was the would be the the no IT IT was in fact really .
the ala.
You sure what .
would they say?
They say was three about .
the ultra .
was three initial ed black.
Um yeah. Is the ultra one point for David?
Well.
tell you, after I go, I just .
said airpower s for an airports. Max, well, I said airports and airports and apple watch. You said airports even i'm right twice.
I'm wrong twice. Yeah, markets did give the specific examples.
So I said airports with three audio tracking and I said apple watch with the third curve display. Some .
definitely not right, unfortunately.
All right. So apple.
they described the apple watch ultra banned the new one by arms as 3, which is stupid because it's a physical object because they said it's made of a three d nit, as if to explain to us that IT is not in fact part of the choke like that. That one that when I was at home watching and my jaw hit my food, I was just like, cheese is rice and the forty the other? Yeah, right. Then the other time they used the world 3d was to describe the three photograph try。 They used to map, quote, thousands of years in preparation for the new air pads for I ish.
I was one of those years.
But mark, has you have seventeen points now with your dog point? 嗯, Andrew, you or excuse me, David, second place, still one point behind with twenty, twenty and one. And Andrew big chatter himself .
in the .
lead with twenty one points.
I can't wait. Some dog breed expert argue bullis you guys. And I get another point.
I welcome that because not if you going to think that is thanks for watching. This is away for podcast.
Thanks for listening, thanks for thanks for subscribing and thanks for watching the clips. And of course, thanks for tuning in. Every week will see all in the next one.
Make sure you watch a half of an iphone review when IT comes out.
Oh, you should also watch the studio video about answering questions .
about apple part. Really well done. Yeah.
almost lost vision. One of my eyes during IT.
you almost lost apple vision pro.
That's not .
for another formats for, oh, sorry, coming later. What's a vision .
coming later? Reform is produced by atomic with.
Heads are so scary. What's a bigger bird than a ross?
Hey, it's lee from decoder with the poop. We spend a lot of time talking about some of the most important people in taking business about what they're putting resources to and why do they think it's so critical for the future. That's why we're doing this special series diving into some of the most unique ways companies are spending money today.
For instance, what does that mean to start buying and using A I at work? How much is that costing companies? What products are they buy? And most importantly, what are they doing with IT and of course, podcasts? Yes, the thing you're listening to right now, well, it's increasingly being produced directly by companies like venture capital firms, investment funds and a new crop of creators who one day want to be investors themselves.
And what is actually going on with these acquisitions this year, especially in A I space, why are so many big players in deciding not to acquire and instead license can hire away co founders? The answer, IT turns out, is a lot more complicated than that seems. You'll hear all that and more this month on decoder with the law presented by strike. You can listen to the coder wherever you get your podcast.
