More acts of vandalism on vehicles in the Markets
Once again, residents of Swieqi found that their cars were the target of vandals that were carried out between Monday and Tuesday by unknown persons. This was not the first case of vandalism in this locality, with the residents and the Local Council appealing to the Government for more safety on the roads.
Among their appeals, the Local Council and the residents of Swieqi are stressing the need for Swieqi to have a Police Station. However, the Government seems to be continuing to ignore this request.
People who spoke to us and even sent photos of these latest acts of vandalism said that a locality that has around 10,000 residents should have a good security system, not only because it is close to places of entertainment, but also because it is home to many families and seniors who want to feel safe in their community.
