LECCE - The firefighters intervened today in Lecce for the detachment of some ashlars, blocks of stone, from a statue positioned on a private historic building in via Degli Ammirati.
The operators intervened immediately and removed other segments that were likely to be detached, to ensure the safety of the surrounding area and prevent potential dangers.
The road was temporarily closed to traffic until 12. The action of the Fire Brigade was carried out in close collaboration with the Local Police of Lecce and the Municipal Engineer.
