It's time to freshen things up with Monday.com, the first work platform you'll love to use. With stunning dashboards, customizable templates, and built-in AI that actually works, switching to a new work platform has never felt this good. So move on to Monday.com. If you got the guts, mister. Oh, what if we won? Oh, we won. We won. We won, Kieran. Best sports podcast. Best sports. Are we a podcast? I don't feel like we're a podcast, are we?

Are we a podcast? We're that grey area in between, aren't we? We're a grey area. Because you can listen to us on audio. So we've got a bit of a problem, haven't we? Your friend from Liverpool, your Liverpudlian mate. You'll be here. So what happens is, you see, there's a difference between me and him. So we do Monday night football last night, we finish at 11.30. Yeah. What do I do? I get in the car. Three in the morning I get home, a few hours sleep and I'm here. He decides to go back to the hotel in London, his plush hotel...

have six or seven hours sleep and get the train. But what's happened? The train is delayed. Now we've got an angry colleague who sits where you are there, not happy with his professionalism. This is a present for Jill. Oh, from Saturday? From Sunderland. From our friends at Skybet. Oh, wow. And it is, there's a... Big game, eh? Can I take this little tag off?

And then there is... Is she putting it on then for the show? We'll offer it. She'll watch it. Every Minute Matters is kicking off at 3.01. It's part of the Every Minute Matters campaign. What do you mean 3.01? Kick-off time, innit? We're kicking off at 3.01 on Saturday? Yes. What, the Sunderland Sheffield United game? It's a minute delayed because of the Every Minute Matters campaign. Right, OK. That's fair enough. And, yeah, if you read that out into the camera as well... Now? Why not?

Just to get that in the bag and that's done, isn't it? So, we're here on Stick to Football. It's that little bit of the show before where I come in on my own and the rest of them are just still talking. And we've got a Sunderland shirt here. It's a massive game on Saturday. Sunderland versus Sheffield United for a place in the Premier League.

Seem to be one of the biggest games in world football in terms of its consequence. And the game will kick off at 3.01. And the reason for that is that it's the Every Minute Matters campaign, which is obviously around the British Heart Foundation. And Skybet will be donating £10,000 to the British Heart Foundation for every goal scored during the playoffs. Last year, Tom Lockyer came and taught the group CPR when the campaign was launched. The target was to get 270,000 football fans to learn CPR online.

Sky Bet are now at £290,000 with a target of £360,000 by the end of the playoffs. So great work all round and all the best to Sunderland and Sheffield United on Saturday. There we go. Big game. I know. I'm so excited. Do you know what though? I can't go to the game. Why? Because it's a Women's Champions League final and I'm over in Portugal. No. But you know what? You have to wear that then for the

I know. Do you think they can do it? What do you think? Well, of course they can do it, but Sheffield United, obviously. Their favourites, aren't they? Yeah, massive favourites. Yeah, but you know what? With the Sunderland fans, they've said they've never heard the stadium alight like that.

when that goal went in, literally last minute. It was unbelievable, wasn't it? I know. And I was driving back from London and I was listening to the commentary of the game and I had to pull over at the service station because I was just like, oh my God, we've scored in the last minute. Here's another happy Sunderland fan. I know. Look! Nice, isn't it? Do you think they can do it? Of course.

I know. Nice jersey, isn't it? Nice colours. Yeah. Can't beat the red and white, can you? Yeah, but Sheffield United are playing in red and white, aren't they? It's not a toss, I just asked them. It's not a toss, it's about who finished higher in the league. Is that right? That's fair enough, then, isn't it? Yeah. Obviously, they're car colours as well, where I'm from. Red and white. Obviously, United, red. Yeah. All good. Nice shirts. Can I have this? Who are we waiting on? There's no somebody's lad, is there? Has he arrived? No. Has he not? No.

He's on the way, Gary. You got a car back and he got the train? How stupid is that? What time did you get home? Quarter to three. Did you? That's not too bad, was it? No, no. We're off air at 11, so we leave about 11.30 and then it just took, yeah, three and a quarter hours. Nothing on the roads. Wasn't too bad. I hope not, Gary.

usually it's like diversion you do get diversions off the M6 though don't you and they throw you off although I did sleep for the last hour and a half when I was listening to the Sunderland game it was like the M6 was all down to like 40, 50 but there was nothing on the road why did they do that?

Why do they do that? It's mental. Why do they do what? Like, put the roadworks on at night. When are they going to do it? Yeah, when are they going to do it? During the day? Imagine the chaos then. Yeah, but there was nothing happening. Like, it was just down to, like, 40. Of course, yeah, I know what you mean. I don't know why they do it. Oh, well, I love this. Thank you. Are you going to put it on, Jill? Yeah, I would like to. I think you should put it on for the show. OK. Just because... When you saw that goal going in when Sunderland scored...

the winner you saw the crowd yeah that's when you know it's a proper football club proper football club like wild like everywhere like the palace the fire oh yeah beautiful stick to football we've got another two years of it we've all agreed is it all agreed it's all agreed am I agreed already that was quick yeah you want to hang out only four months no no Gary I was joking good news girl no two years two years is too long

I should have done a year. It's nice, you know. No, I like having an exit plan. Two years is like 20 to me. Would you miss this if you didn't have it? Yeah, he would. Do you enjoy it? I don't know. He'd miss the croissant and the tea. It's good to miss stuff. Do you think? Yeah, you get emotionally attached to stuff. I don't. I'm...

clean. And you don't get emotionally attached to people or anything like that? Not really, no. I try not to because they let you down here. Not all people. Yeah, they let you down. Really? You let me down on the weekend with your shirt and tie. Oh, have you heard this? Do you wear a green suit? No, I just had a green jacket. I go to London, I have to go to London Friday night.

I get a text. Just to let you know, I'm wearing a suit tomorrow. I said a tie I'm wearing. A tie. A certain tie. Like I'm in London. He killed me. I have no tie with me. No, you was in London. You didn't tell me you was in London. At midnight. You know what I mean? Who texts somebody at midnight? Yeah, but you know why I texted him? Sloppy, that. It's not sloppy. It is. It's not manunited me. He's...

I thought he was still... I thought you were a team player. No, I thought he was still in Manchester, so he can get that in the morning and just bring one. I thought, you know what, let me just let him know I'm going to wear a shirt and tie. At midnight, lovely. I didn't know he was in London because... Yeah! Oh, dear me, dear me. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. You OK? I'm just saying.

He only kissed the badge for the 21s to be fair. I still loved it, it's just that he moved on. You can't love two cunts. I like candy. I would never go into my hotel to go and see him. So is that like I don't want to go onto a football pitch?

Sorry, Mr. Marrion. If he's not doing well at Christmas, could he go? I don't think he'll definitely be there. Who are you talking about? Atta. Atta ain't getting sacked from Arsenal. Even if he's not in the top two by Christmas? No way would he be sacked. You don't want to see a manager on a bike, do you? LAUGHTER

No, you don't. What do you want to see your manager say? I don't want to see a manager like Peter. I just don't want to see it. The boobing stuff, you know what I mean? It doesn't look, doesn't reflect well on the supporters. They won't have a parade. They're not having a parade. Good. Our house isn't having a parade for the finishing second. Why would they? It's kind of nice. Why would they? Does anybody have a parade? Maybe I have some.

How are you, James? All right, good. I knew you'd be late today. I've watched you laugh. It's the Manchester train. You said it was going to be a bit late. Is it always late? Did you say it was going to be late? So yesterday I said to him... I said, why take a chance? Why don't you bring him up? Did you offer him a lift? Do you know what, that's United. No, I didn't try. That's United. I like that. Don't take any chances. The lad's a bit edgy.

Righty does the same. You know, because you didn't offer... Tony Adams said you were late, didn't he? LAUGHTER See, he's the one that's garnered all the attention I get for that now. You didn't offer Roy a tie, so your last game, you should just wear a tie. Have you ever signed any contracts? Yeah. Have we? I don't know about that.

if you don't sign yours I'm still negotiating after this morning if I sign it quick you do quite do you do the American one show us your trainers Gary oh yeah show us your trainers and the other one show him the other one they've got his name on

I got these from America. I got these from an American guy. I got these from an American guy. I had a feeling that was from America. They've even got Gary on that. Show me the other one that says never won the other one. I want to see both of them. You can't put new trains on the table, can you? Just put it on that side. Look at that. Look at that.

Forget your name on them. They're just bad. Yeah, but you're wearing trainers with your own name. This guy had a pair in America in New York. I know. And he said, I'll get them made for you. And you said, yeah. So tonight, I'm watching... No, no, no. Did you say, yeah? Yeah. Why would you want your own name? Because it reminded me a little bit of Bruce Springsteen. I'm watching him tonight, so I'm wearing them for the concert. Gary Neville and Bruce Springsteen. How are they ever in the same...

He probably should put Bruce Springsteen down for me or something. I saw Bruce last week. He wasn't that great, was he? He was very good. He was good. Did he go political? A little bit. You know when people go to a concert? It's like a soccer match. You go to a match and a match can be disappointing. But people go to a concert. They all go, it was great, it was amazing. But it wasn't. It wasn't. Just say it wasn't. It was good. What happened, Bruce? Sorry? Was he good? No, I don't think he was that great. But what I found out, that was his first night.

So it's like a pre-season game for him. So he was steady, and that's fine. I still enjoyed it. But Neville was like, he was amazing. But he wasn't amazing. Do you know how old he is still now? Oh, I see. Do you know how old he is? He's 111. My point was, he's amazing, but on that night I saw him, he was pre-season. He was like playing in our league team. Was there anybody next to you singing the songs as well? Oh, there was all of them. We've got four in there. Four in there.

Why do people... That's Room 101. Yeah. So who are you sending a video? Like, Bruce is there, but they're singing themselves like football fans. You know, you do... Just fucking sing if you're going to sing. Yeah.

Did you go with Gary to Bruce? No, no, no. Did you happen? I have to do my own stuff. I was in the pit, right, and he sent me a picture during the concert, but because I didn't have my phone out during the concert, I didn't get it to the end. So you were the one sending it to him? I wasn't videoing it. I wasn't in video. Was I in the picture? No, you wasn't in the picture. Thank you. Was you videoing? No.

picture listen you've got two ears you've got one mouth listen we've been taking pictures of the gunner to see Bruce I thought he was across the way where's Bruce on tonight yeah the corp again yeah how many people

£23,000 £23,500 I think a whole you're going to be able to know him now don't be serious no I've never met him how old is he now you said to me last night he was in your hotel yeah but I don't go in I don't breach that I don't do that I'm professional I don't want to see him so even though your hotel is in certain areas you can't I would never go into my hotel to go and see him so is that like an owner going onto a football pitch

You're doing a lot of ecology, aren't you?

When you go to every concert, you're going to get done for being like a stalker or something. I know, I know. Yeah, but why go to loads of the same concerts? I know, but if you're not... It's not that you like it, but that's what you want to be like. Yeah. The night Roy went was Wednesday, then Saturday I went, and then Tuesday tonight I'm going. But why? Why, Gary? He's doing the same songs. Three times? No, he changes the set slightly Saturday. Is it? Yeah, three or four songs. Does he? Or he changes the whole set? No, not the whole set. Three or four songs. So how many songs does he do all together? Two different sets. I...

It must be 30-odd. He's on for two and a half. Two and three quarter hours. He's in Anfield in two weeks. Are you going there? No, I'm not. I'm not that big a fan. You should go and tell me what you think after. Okay. I love this when he tells me what I've got. You should go and tell me what you think after. If you give him 50 quid, he'll get you a ticket. Jamie probably missed the first hour, though, wouldn't you? That's it now with the latest. I've got this tag now at URIT.

This episode of Stick to Football is brought to you by Skybest. So Palace winning the final. What a moment, eh? Yeah, it was magnificent. Roy, you were there as well. It was good. It was fantastic. It was fantastic and they deserved it. I know that they got some bad luck with maybe some decisions but the way that...

The way that he set up his team in respect of the way they played when they lost 5-2 up there. And, you know, the Palace should have been 2 or 3 up in that game. And he played the same way. You know, with City pushing up and they just bypassed them. The regressive ones. And then they were ruthless with the finish. In the two games, the semi-final against Villa, they had four shots on target against Villa, scored three goals, Mr. Penn. They had two shots on target in the final and scored one.

That is clinical. I love the how aggressive they were. Yeah, they were. Really determined to kind of... Defensively as well. Yeah, really good. Really, really good. That goal was a great example of, you know, how we say we hate the centre-halves dropping into the box, but entice them out and then just miss it. It was absolutely brilliant. Got it right there. Yeah. What about Dean Ensign at the end? What about Dean Ensign at the end with the pep?

What about it? What did he say? You've got your ten minutes? You've got your ten minutes? You know what? He's right. Obviously, Pep going on and pitching on. You've obviously got to take your medicine. But when people are at the end of games, and I've heard it before, people go, we've had it on at the end, but that's not the point. It stops the rhythm of the game. I think that's his whole point. We know we've got our ten minutes. I'm not agreeing. I meant what Pep said to him rather than what Pep said to himself. You're time-wasting. You didn't deserve it or something like that. Pep, you shouldn't be.

The problem I have with it, we're all...

Whenever you're in Pep's situation, we're all wound up and we're all frustrated with someone time-wasting. But you'll see, no one says you don't have to do that often because they're so good, they win so many games. But if they're in the Champions League semi-final later on in the game, they're keeping the ball in the corner flag. They're wasting time. That's what frustrates me. Every team does it. They just still get wound up at the end of the game. When it happened, I said, yeah, that's meant to happen. It's meant to hurt, isn't it? You know, it's the final, he's gutted, he wanted to win, you know? And then obviously, you know,

Dean Henderson maybe should have been sent off I think he should have been sent off for the handball but you get the luck the thing is when you see Pep having these battles sometimes he comes out there's never any staff around him is there he always seems to be isolated you don't think I know as a physio had a bit of aggro it was Paddy Paddy McCartney

I never see Pep's... Sometimes the managers have an argument. There's loads of Pep's. Maybe they want to go round. Maybe they're too... Not even for Diagro. I was actually thinking that, watching him on the weekend. He's got the guy next to him, an older guy. I think he's had for a couple of years now. He obviously respects and looks up to. But he has lost a lot of staff, hasn't he? I know one who used to be at Liverpool's academy, Rodolfo. Obviously, Arteta was there before.

obviously there was others in the past but he doesn't look like he's got that main number two even if there was somebody to stop him going on the pitch at the end going up to Henderson but also the other side of that Pep a guy who's won everything tells him what he cares it hurts I think the fact that he's not got the staff on a consistent basis is a testament to his work because I think what people do is try and pick people in and around him to go and take them to their clubs

It happened a little bit united, to be fair, as well, with people coming and getting the assistant managers and going and taking them to the... Yeah, but it wasn't even that often, Nev. No, but Kiddo went and did it, obviously. Kiddo had been there for years. Yeah, but Carlos, Steve McLaren and Kiddo, they were there for a few years, but they still left him. Yeah.

But it was the same with Jose, wasn't it? Anyone who worked with Jose, oh, let's get him as a manager because he can be the next Jose. That's the way it works, isn't it? What about the Women's Cup final, Jill? Oh, it was a great game, wasn't it? It was a great game. Well, for Chelsea it was. But for them to do the treble, I think... I didn't see it coming, to be honest. No, I thought they were going to win the FA Cup final, but I mean, the beginning of this season, I wouldn't have put them down for the treble. I thought City were going to challenge a little bit more. That's the thing, though. City and Arsenal didn't challenge enough. Yeah. And Chelsea...

You know, I'm not surprised that they've done the treble. I think their biggest disappointment was the fact that they were so poor in...

Against Barcelona? Yeah, the Champions League. Because let's face it, that's what Chelsea are really going for. They've had this league wrapped up in January. They've signed the best players. Naomi Gurma coming, Sandy Baltimore. Is that going to put a game right here? Well, you know, the thing is, Roy, with the women's game, especially with the fact that they've got this new investor. They've got big investors. That's what it needs. And this is the same with the Lionesses, the London City Lionesses with Michelle Kang coming in. That's what you need to come in. Someone's coming in and they're coming in and they're coming in...

And they're investing. They're really investing. I don't mind Chelsea doing it because, like I was speaking to one of the chairman, one of the league football club chairman, I won't mention him, but...

He's putting in £3 million. That'll get you relegated. How's it work in terms of Chelsea, obviously, Football Club now don't own their women's team in its entirety or at all. So you basically have got investors coming in from the outside. It's a separate entity now, isn't it? So they put a value on the women's team, which I think was just over £200 million.

and then he comes in he comes in and puts in does that seem a lot for a women's team well I think they've probably gone off the maybe the US team so you've got like San Diego Angel City and he Serena Williams husband has invested in them in the past so then he's come in and put in 10% which is 20 million but I think it's great it takes them kind of

They'll have better facilities. Where they are in Cobham, it is actually quite a small facility, so they'll be able to get awfully big. Chelsea are saying we're going full steam ahead until anyone can stop us. Whatever you're going to do in respect of the monies, the money's coming in. It's up to other teams to try and get the investment. What control? Do Chelsea have to still retain a stake in the women's team or can they sell it completely and owe nothing of their women's team? How does that work? I ain't got a clue about that in respect to that, Gabba. You'd have thought that.

You know, they can just have the name of Chelsea and someone's running it as a different team. Well, they have to wear the same kits. They have to, you know, all the sort of things. There are controls in place maybe or something like that. Surely the house must be. Yeah, it must be. What do you think, obviously we say Chelsea women's won the treble and then we'll go back to you guys when you were dominating the league. What do you think is best for the game? Because then you look at the men's league now and you have Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Liverpool. Like for football, it's been a great,

season for that, hasn't it? Why can't the club... I don't understand. I mean, look, I'm probably the wrong person to ask on this because I've stuck my colours to the mast for years. Why can't the football club invest...

10, 15, 20% of their revenue every year into the women's team. Why does it have to be that they have to go and get external investment? I'm not saying they shouldn't do it. It might be a good model. But why would Chelsea, as a football club that have spent £1.3 billion on players, why do they need outside investment? Why can't they just put £100 million of that £1.3 billion into the women's team? They put a lot of money into their academy, I suspect. So why wouldn't they just put £50 or £100 million into that? It sounds very simple, and it's not complicated. What you're saying is exactly what could happen.

They could all probably do that, but they choose not to. For some reason, the women's game as a business is held to account on when we're going to see a return. For some reason... So they don't see it as a good investment, do you think? No, I don't think they do. But, Roy, the crazy thing is about that, that smart people are putting money into Chelsea women and do see it as a good investment. Do you know what I mean? It's like... But that's only just changed recently, hasn't it? Yeah. I think the London City Lionesses with Michelle Kang is going to change it as well, change the game, because she's coming in, she's coming in heavy. Yeah.

Yeah. You know what I mean? They'd just come up. I've watched the game with them. Well, they've invested heavily. Invested heavily. Totally run, totally run business by her and her company. And I think that she's coming, and she's coming serious. She's investing in a way that's going to help the game. Yeah, yeah. More competition. Women drive. More competition. Driven purely by women as well. Some of the women. Some of the women. Are they any good?

Yes, Sunderland women, but they haven't got promotion. So, yeah, they probably do need more investment, to be honest. But you're saying why are people on the outside coming in and doing it? Probably because the clubs aren't doing it, isn't it? You should do it for Sunderland. I know. All your millions. All your millions. It's true, though, guys. What you say is right. Why don't the men just put 10% in? Sunderland. Elevate the game. Come on. It needs so much as well. It still needs so much.

So we're going to start at the back of the pitch. We're going to go with the best goalkeeper of the season. Who do we think the best goalkeeper is? You've already done our list. We picked a team last night, but not one person out of... To be fair, look at some of my choices, maybe I would have... Look at it.

Oh you did manage it didn't you? I went for the Forest Keepers had 13 clean sheets I think Raya's now had 13 clean sheets I mean for me Alisson is the best goalkeeper in the league from a point of view of just number one but in terms of this season who's had the biggest I picked Alisson last night but I was very close to picking Raya because Raya I think Alisson had that performance maybe just stuck in my head you know against PSG it felt like one of the best keeper performances I've ever seen

But Ray has probably had about five or six saves throughout the season. And there was one against Aston Villa. And because it was like, I mean, literally the second game, you actually think it was last season. It feels that far. Remember that save he did at Villa from Olly Watkins? Yeah. You know the thing with him as well, I was watching the other day and it looked a little bit shaky at the start, but he made a couple of saves there. He did. And when you consider what Arsenal have done, so many draws,

If David Rea is not playing that team, I don't know where we'd be this particular season. Would he be? Who would be Arsenal's player of the season this season? We might think Declan Rice, but if the supporters watch him every week... One of them two. One of them two, yeah. Probably... You know, the fans...

It'd be tough to go against Declan, but if it's David Rea, you'd probably say, yeah, I could see that. Because as much as Declan's done so much to see eight out of ten nearly all the games for us, I think David Rea not playing would have caused us a lot of problems. Ever since you asked that question about would you rather have a good back four...

Some of the goalkeeper performances, I think I've changed and thought if you have a great goalkeeper, seeing keepers keep some teams in games just on his own. So you think if Raya was in goal for Southampton, they'd stay in goal? Nope.

but honestly I've changed my opinion that honestly the Inter Milan keeper like some of the performances I'm like it's been down to the keeper Paris Saint-Germain keeper against Arsenal the first Donnarumma yeah so what you've always underestimated the importance of a goalkeeper just ever since you asked that question on here I've noticed how I think the saying when they say you can't you can't win anything that's true that was one of the best decisions I think Arteta made and it was brave at the time Ramsdale was a bit of a fan's favourite but

I don't... Ah, someone's not going to win anything big with Ramsdale. They haven't yet with Raya, by the way, but... I think it was that. Was it three seasons ago now? No, I don't think it was that. Two. Two. He likes a time waste as well, doesn't he? You know, Pep's having a go at... Oh, he likes an injury, doesn't he? Right at the end, his ankle. If the game's a bit thingy... Against Newcastle, I thought his leg was broken at once. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yeah, it's not a goal. He likes to go down, doesn't he? The goalies do that now. Who are we going for? Alisson, Henderson, Raya, Sels? I'll go Alisson, I think. We just need a great account. I'm going Raya. Yeah, I'll go with that. Raya? Yeah, go on, I'll go with that. Outnumbered. Raya is the stick-to-football goalkeeper of the season. Nice one, Dave. The best defender. Is this really a big decision? It's obviously Milenkovic, Kyrkos...

Van Dijk any other names to throw in the hat Van Dijk centre half you're talking about here or just is it just like one defender is it we're talking about it's one defender best defender of the season it's got to be Van Dijk hasn't it that was the first one that come into my head yeah it's very tough to win the title yeah and his goal his scores as well didn't he really so saying that Liverpool have switched off they're irritating me at the moment Liverpool they've won the league

It doesn't matter, but the fringe players coming in and they're all in Ibiza. What message is that, anyway? What, posting that the real way? Yeah, just I'm thinking, come on, show a bit of class. Salah scores a goal against... He's taking pictures when the game... You know, the game's still on. Yeah. Just come on, liven up a little bit. You got a text last night from a Liverpool fan after the game, didn't you, about the fringe players?

you don't have to name me the fan I'm not reading the text I don't know who it is was that as polite as that it was similar I'm just saying the main lads well I've done my best but then you realise the French players maybe aren't as good as you think when they're trotting and going here's your chance it was about the French players wasn't it yeah of course I've always felt that with French players there's not a criticism I'm always of the opinion that every great team

as five or six players who if one of those players is missing you feel it so let's think of Liverpool so you'd go Van Dijk Salah probably McAllister Salah and I think the rest around them are always good players but I think if you put them on their own they can't cope on their own they need help you've seen Liverpool centre-backs last night without Van Dijk and that's not a criticism because I think that's

you go through every great team it's not 11 world class players in a team there's normally five or six who are like the other five or six are hanging on to the top 10 that's why I've always disagreed with you about fringe players coming in en masse I always think that to be fair that's absolutely right and I've said this for a long time when we first came into the first team the spine of the team of Schmeichel, Pallister, Bruce, Roy, Ince it was Eric and Spine

we were on the fringe of that if we didn't have them let's say seven or eight of us all came in at once that was okay against Port Vale in the League Cup but if we'd have come in without these players we'd have fallen over 100% so I've always thought making changes to teams en masse by bringing in five or six fringe players and taking out Van Dijk taking out McAllister but when you're running a

when you want to leave. I know, but no, I'm happy for him to do it. It's no problem. I'm just saying it's hard for the fringe players to create a performance level when the rest of the spine of the team have gone out. It is hard. Yeah, but you can't... No, I'm really a little bit on that. You can't almost go...

oh you've got to feel sorry for the big players I've got some sympathy some of these lads are international players I've got some sympathy I'm not about coming in and winning every game they come in for but don't be giving up three goals show something you know that the team's going to win the league you're just like I guarantee if you speak to them players they're going I should be playing every week there you go you're going to have a few games on your belt and that's like

There's a reason you're fringe players. I know the league's over and you've obviously come off it a little bit, but you shouldn't come off it. You've only played seven, eight games. I said something the other day, and you probably know better than me as an Arsenal fan. It was after the Liverpool-Arsenal game, and Saliba's a centre-back I love, and I'm not classing him as a fringe player. He's a brilliant player. But he never quite looks the same when Gabriel's not alongside him. I don't know if that's maybe just the games I've seen. And I actually said that after the game. I don't know if that's the games I've seen.

me as a player I think we're probably all the same if someone said to me oh you don't look the same play it when he's not playing I'd be like oh I must be embarrassed you know like it's a thing you need someone else to play well is that the case with him or have I just seen him in certain games even certain games like the last few games especially he's made a couple of

where you think, wow, that's a little bit out of character for him. But there is no way that him playing alongside Kivio, he's been brilliant since he's come in, with the pressure he was under coming in, is different when Gabriel's playing. You need that guy next to you. He's the one that he knows that... It's been the way as well, by the way, because when Gabriel didn't have Saliba, he didn't look as good. I think that's the thing. You're going to miss that guy. There's someone you do play better alongside, though, do you not think? No, I get that. No, I get that, but I always think...

Let's say, for instance, last night, I said before the game, I was really interested to watch because Liverpool have had a lot of centre-backs over the last few years who've played alongside Van Dijk and people always say, this is the best partnership in the league or this is the best. And I always think, is he? Or is he just that good that the fella next to him looks, you know, and that's what great centre-backs do. They make other people look good. For me, when I think of Tony Adams or John Terry, they're great centre-backs. And I thought, come on, because the thing for me when I watch centre-backs, I want to see them

I want to see them make other people play well around them. And I was just watching Canarte and he's a brilliant, you know, he's a good player, he's quick, he's street, he'll do all of that. I was just a bit like, oh, and he's a little bit more than that. That's what I was saying about Saliba a couple of weeks when Gabriel's not there. I want you to help Kivio, I want you to be the man rather than saying, oh, I can't play with him. No, drag him up with you. That's the job of a team centre, man. Van Dijk it is. That was a nice way to move with us. Nice segue, girl. Thank you.

This episode of Stick to Football is brought to you by Skybet. Best midfielder. This one will be a little bit more challenging to select, I would think. We've got here some contenders. We've got Tenali, Declan Rice, Gimaraish, Telemans, Gravenbush, McAllister.

So there's six there. Newcastle midfield has been brilliant this season. I don't know if there's a three that's matched them. Have we only picked them one? Yeah. On that Newcastle midfield, interestingly last night, I picked Gimaraes and he picked Tenali. You said something about when Tenali came in, which is absolutely true, Newcastle became a far better team. But I think if Tenali was playing and Gimaraes wasn't in there and he came in,

They would be. You know what I'm saying? It's like one of those things that them two together, I think they're brilliant. Who would you have out of the... If you could select one to come to your club, City... Sunderland, I don't think they'd come. If you could put one out of those two to come to your team, would it be Tenali or Guimaraes? Tenali. Would you? And I've only said that this season since you went to that. Guimaraes is one for me. I think he's a good player. The Newcastle fans love him. But they love him that much that I sometimes think, am I not...

am I watching the same game for how much they love him I'm thinking I thought he was brilliant I think he's a really good player but I think he lacks a bit of pace I don't

I don't know, I just like the pace and the power of Tenali when I see him getting across people and closing people down and knocking people out the way. I think you're right about the balance because you can always say put that player in your team but especially in the midfield if you've got two, three, it's all about how they work together and I think they just work so good together but watching that League Cup final, there were

That's why I probably went for Tenali over Gravenberch, probably a little bit that was in my mind for how dominant Newcastle were in midfield. I went for Gravenberch just because of his, I mean maybe because of his improvement this season, I saw that coming. I'm going for Gravenberch because at the start of the season, you know, we're talking about, they were talking about Zubber Mendy and then Schlott's come in, he's put him there and he's been brilliant. Declan Rice. He's been fantastic. I'd go with Rice.

It was a great goal against Newcastle, wasn't it? Again, he's at eight out of ten every week. He's been brilliant. He's an amazing boy. He's got better at the end of the season. Yeah, Rice, I think. He's got better and better as well. Rice it is. And he's a great guy as well. He is. We'll go with the Irish fella, Rice. Is that still hurting your eye? No, you know, I don't hold resentment.

He only kissed a badge for the 21s, to be fair. We let all that go. Yeah, but he loved it. He still loved it. It's just that he moved on. You can't love two countries. I like candy. LAUGHTER He has a difficult predicament there, doesn't he? Of course. He obviously loves Ireland. He probably loves England as well. It's not difficult. He kissed a badge. LAUGHTER

Best forward, I don't think we'll hang around much on this. You've got Isak, Visser, Mbembo. No, Salah, Bowen. Salah's got Salah on there. Yeah. No? Or Isak? Are you going Isak over Salah? Well, I didn't think that would be a choice. Who was it he can go for? You know...

Salah Salah's on the brink of actually breaking the record for goals and assists in the season Alan Shearer and Andy Cole he's one away he had a chance he missed last night yeah it was a big chance I think I said a few other things I think I said a multitude Salah was playing for Arsenal I think that would have been the difference winning the league with all the goals of course I think of course yeah Arsenal just don't have that we lost 21 points from winning positions of course we needed them goals

Do you know what? I think this would be... As much as Isak's been brilliant, when you watch Isak earlier on in the season against our two centre-halves, with everybody talking, and the two main guys as well, Saliba and Gabriela... You gave him a tough time there. Honestly, it was like going back in time, watching something. I think he gave Canati and Van Dijk a tough time. Yeah. You look at stats, I always think if you're looking at the attacking players, if there's any goals and assists...

It probably has to go to Salah because of what he's done. And they've won. And they've won the league. Come on. OK, manager of the year. And the contenders, there's a few. Interesting, this one. Slott, obviously, on a slot. Nuno?

obviously but a lot will depend on next week won't it Eddie Howe Glasner must be going in the mix now I'm sitting in the Thundershirt and I do think Eddie Howe that start what Palace had and you know it's a tough one it's a tough one yeah I think if Eddie Howe wins at Arsenal Sunday and goes second you're like second and winning the trophy I give Arsenal credit I give Arsenal credit can we honestly look at Arsenal what Everton

you said Arsenal you should have asked if Newcastle won at Arsenal they would have gone second if Newcastle would have done I thought it was like is this going up next week or last week if Newcastle won at Arsenal I agree

everyone's criticising Arsene towards the end of the season but they came back against Liverpool they're showing a bit of fighting a bit of spirit I know they're fighting for the second position they have got something there with Artetti there is a connection with the crowd the crowd love him don't they they do you know what was really good about his interview after the game the other day is the way he just signed off by saying like it's

No, it's up to them upstairs now. That's just basically him saying, listen... He's just passive responsibility. Otherwise, bam. He'll be getting a top striker. Fingers crossed. He looks like a serious bro. Is there a serious feeling from everyone at Arsenal that he's being let down?

by people above him. They have spent a few quid. Over how many years, though? But I think he had options to get strikers and he just went down a different road. I don't think it's all on the board. At the same time, again, I think what they're worried about more than anything else is that you can go out there and pay 60s, 70s, 80s for strike and it doesn't work. I don't think Arsenal can afford to, especially with, what's it, seven years now, I don't think Arsenal can afford

to get that striker that doesn't hit the ground running for them. So they have to get the one that they want. And maybe that's what Mikel's doing. You know, he's getting the one what he wants. And in the meantime, he's trying to get by. And again, falling short of it. If he's not doing well at Christmas, could he go? I think he'll definitely be there. Who are you talking about? Arteta. Which Arteta? Is there another Arteta in another parallel universe? Arteta ain't getting sacked from Arsenal. Well... No.

No way. Well, at some stage, you know, the sacking comes for people. You just said he's never getting sacked. Well, he will not be sacked. I think that it will be something that he'll win. Even if he's not in the top two by Christmas? No way will he be sacked if he's not in the top two by Christmas. Probably be third. Probably be third by a couple of points. There's no way. His journey is still happening for him. Does he have to win next season? He has to win, doesn't he? Of course we want him to win. I don't think he has to.

I don't think the way that the board are with... What I mean is, I think if... Not the way the board are with him. So if they don't win a trophy next year, he's... I said this... It's not a good thing either for a club. I think as soon as they look like they're going backwards, though, I think if they're still challenging with the big trophies, I think the board will... You just said it yourself, didn't you? Yeah, but the new dynamics of the club, the new director of football, is he going to give them two or three years? No, but you just said it yourself in the way...

The way that they finished, even though you know that Liverpool, they finished, they showed art. And that's what you need to go again. So he's my manager of the year then? I think slot just pips him for me because he's my manager of the year, but slot just pips him. I'm going slot. I'm going slot. But you're going to do some honorary mentions though, like Glasner. Nuno, Glasner, Howe, I think. You think last year when Liverpool, when all the stuff was over the top, the fans, everyone, and then he's come in. The three contracts, the contract.

players not signing anyone and then to win it so comfortably by the way how many games they've won to go on the court you know something honestly it seems bizarre how he kept that quiet you know with the three top players in your team coming into the last year and it just kept it just kept going it's a major management and also taking on the job of Liverpool which is a huge job when you think when Klopp left none of us would have thought David would have won the league no we all said I said Man City who did you say would win the league

City, City, maybe. Did you ask? I said City as well. I think I said Liverpool. OK, so we're going to go slot? Yeah. OK. We have to sing his Arnold slot. Arnold slot. He's in Ibiza. So we'll act on all that stuff, Alan. Yeah, I've seen that, actually. I didn't want to see your manager. Brilliant. A friend of mine, he's like, when Dan Haag was manager of United, he used to go around on his bike. You know, you don't want to see a manager on a bike, do you? LAUGHTER

No you don't. He's on a bike going at midnight. I don't want to see a manager and I beat it. I just don't want to see it. It was a bit weird. He can't be a manager all the time. He wants to ride his bike. Don't be on a bike going at midnight when there's nobody around. Some things just don't feel right. I just don't want to see it. Best moment of the year. The Crystal Palace win and the Newcastle. I'm sitting here in a sun-lit shirt. I've got five. Crystal Palace are in it. Newcastle beating Liverpool in the League Cup are in it.

Liverpool 6-3 at Tottenham, isn't it? Arsenal versus Real Madrid, the rise free kick, best moment of the year, it's a moment, doesn't have to be a match. United coming back v Lyon in that last seven or eight minutes. Didn't you say 2-2? I just totally forgot about that game. I was reading last night. You know what I think? Maybe because it's only just happened.

You know the story, right, about the Tifo in the Crystal Palace end? Oh, what a great story. Have you read it? I've done it now. The dad and the two boys, yeah. So they've got this, you know, big banner that the supporters make or the club make. Yeah. And it's from a... So it's a Crystal Palace fan lifting his two kids up to celebrate a goal. But the goal is actually from 2012 at Old Trafford. Do you remember? Crystal Palace must have beat you in the Carabao Cup or something. And who scored the goal? I can't remember.

Oh, yeah, I remember it. Yeah, yeah. I was there. I did the game. We were Yorkie. Midfield player. I think he had a little go at Newcastle. Darren Ambrose. Darren Ambrose. Darren Ambrose. Darren Ambrose. Thank you.

I was like, he did well. You know what, James, it's a story, it's a great story. So, when that goal's gone in, the sky cameras have sort of panned to the crowd and they've got in right in the middle, lifting the kids up. So then they've made this, so the dad's passed away. Yeah.

So Crystal Palace have made this Tifo, this banner of the guy. And then the two brothers, they were at the game and I've seen all the pictures and so it was brilliant. We'll go for that then, shall we? Yeah, we'll go for that. You know, that's an amazing moment. We can't say something else. We can't go, no, Newcastle. No, no, no, you can't. Palace recognise the emotion of that.

and put out a TIFO that really means something especially on a day where honestly Palace's first trophy in their whole history it's nice to see because you play for your own club you're in your own little world aren't you you kind of don't care what goes on other clubs I know we're doing Pundit you hear stories like that you go

and other clubs battling away you know what I mean they won the trophy sorry I know that it's something you don't want obviously when you're playing you don't want them to win the trophy because you're greedy and you're selfish but then you hear stories of other clubs yeah it was amazing beautiful you know what with that final it felt like it was it felt like an FA Cup final because we've had finals in recent years where

it doesn't feel like it means as much to the fans or to those winning teams, but it really felt like something that FA Cup, you could feel the energy. We were sitting with the Palace fans, we were near them, and we were looking at people's reactions, and we said we wanted to win, but it was proper emotional. Amazing it was. I was like that with Newcastle, you know, that was absolutely devastating, the side of the pitch, but we were by...

Newcastle fans yeah you're behind and you just see in the face you know what it means so much you've got to take you can't take it away from people can you but nothing will beat that feeling of the first as well won't it like even nothing will beat it on the road now because like all of a sudden they're playing in Europe you know then you don't have to worry maybe about Mark Gay or Eze or Walton because they want to play in Europe with Palace and then maybe this is the springboard fingers crossed fingers crossed

This episode of Stick to Football is brought to you by Skybest. OK, that was the best moment of the year. We've now got, what's the worst moment of the year? Difficult one. What options have we got? There's no options, unfortunately. Why have you gone with a segment, we ain't got no options? Worst moment of the year in football, anyone? Jamie being late. LAUGHTER

I'm trying to think him... Who? Rudiger. Rudiger for Real Madrid, then he chucked a bottle at the referees. That'd be funny, isn't it? Worst moment for City, Rodri getting injured. Yeah, that was sad to see. It's a big moment. Anyone doing the race at Yales South. Hang on a minute. Something's happened. Bad injuries, any bad injuries? Anyone getting attacked? Me getting head-butted. LAUGHTER

Was that only last year? Was it last year, was it? It's given you a concussion. He's still concussed. Have you been headbutted again? No, of course not. I'm about now. He's right. I nearly did it and I was 50. I'm me.

I love that. Love that. Trent getting booed? Worst moment of the year? That was pretty bad. Yeah, I didn't like that. You know what? Maybe it's a whole Trent thing. It's because of the shock. It's more the shock for me. You know, when it happened, you're like, wow. You actually do that. It was interesting last night. He never brought him on, did he? He brought him in the field, he was on a bike path. Do you think there's...

Do you think that's because of that or is it just because he knows he's going now? Because he doesn't know how they're going to react. You don't know about Trent, but over the years we always, Liverpool fans get kind of credit over the years for like applauding the opposition team. But to do that to Trent, you're looking and going, do you know what? There's a lot of nastiness to it. I know there's a lot of scoffers as well in there, wasn't there, James? There's a lot of trouble in there. People defending him then, obviously. Not so much either. I think even people who don't have people, you still just don't,

The booing stuff, you know what I mean? It doesn't look just as well. It wasn't good. Did you choose that? Yeah. You know something? It probably could... Simply because it didn't... I'd never heard it. Never heard it from Liverpool fans like that. It was really interesting. Have you seen the picture from last night? No. So, obviously, the Liverpool fans, even though they've got beat, they're still having a party. It's like they're just singing and chanting. They've obviously won the league. And so the players have gone over at the end and someone's got a little bit of a picture and just a video on Trent. It's just like...

you know he's just shut he's just shut his stay and he's turned away and it's almost like you know it's like what's going through his mind either he's like it's horrible angry with the supporters or he's got that feeling of like what have I done here you know it's just

We'll see what we do in a few years. When you think about the reputation Liverpool fans have for being classy... Yeah, and that's why there was that. There was that. Jane, do you think once time goes by a bit and they'll be all right with him again, he'll be fine when he's in and around? I don't think it'd be nasty or nothing like that, but I don't think there'd be that great love. I do think he and maybe his people around him have probably underestimated the feeling of what this would be. I think...

I always felt it'd be a little bit like this, if I'm being totally honest. I've been saying this for months, but...

I think he'd be shocked. I just looked at his face on that video last night and I told him. It would hurt him for a long time. That would be tough for him. One more that's been thrown in my ear. Real Madrid not turning up to the Ballon d'Or for Rodri. That's just petulance. That's just pure petulance from a club. Yeah, no class. Real Madrid, yeah, no class. It's from a club that's meant to be the standard bearers. They've won it 15 times, Champions League. They've got great players they've given the world and everything. Even who they lost against. They're trying to boot everybody. They come on the pitch and never go inside. Even against Barcelona. Yeah.

The trouble he called out against Barcelona in the cup final a few weeks ago. You know something, it's... So we're going for that? You hear me again? It's true. That or Trent. That or Trent then. You know something? I'd go for Real Madrid. You know something, I think now I'd go for Real Madrid because I've kind of felt... Yeah, Madrid. I think Madrid didn't show any class. Outnumbered. What did you say, Trent? Just because we've spoke about it a lot, I think it just went on for a long time, but we'll go Real Madrid because we're outnumbered. OK. OK.

My husband and I recently realized that neither of us were getting the sleep we deserved. So we sat down and talked about our ideal beds. For him, soft as feathers. For me, firm as a plank. This would be a huge issue if it weren't for the Sleep Number smart bed.

Thankfully, with our new Sleep Number smart bed, we can each dial in our desired Sleep Number settings to our ideal comfort and finally get the sleep we deserve. Plus, the Climate Series feature makes sure our bed stays nice and cool through the warm summer months. Why choose a Sleep Number smart bed?

Right, we've got super six.

How did we do last year? I can't remember. So you've switched off. You're on your holidays. You're on your holidays? You're in your summer shirt? I'm on the beach. I'm just like this.

This one. It's nice, isn't it? I was self-emptying. I'm self-emptying. Hey, lads, bring back memories. The old Sunderland, eh? Oh, I love it. Was that your... What are you thinking? What are you thinking at the weekend? I think we'll do it. Yeah. I really do, honestly. The fans. Bringing them up from nowhere. Roy, how did Sunderland get on against Sheffield United this season in the two games? Do we know? Any idea? Get it in your ear, Gavin. I'm trying to remember the scores. How did Sunderland get on against Sheffield United in the two games this season?

I think they'd lost to Sheffield but I think they played okay I just think it all goes out the window doesn't it one off game at Wembley I really feel like we can do it how are you going Jill well I'm at the Women's Champions League final I know oh my god cashing in she cries every week about Sunderland now she's doing an earner just go to Sunderland you want to say Sunderland till I die unless someone offers me something I'm not

That is actually not the truth. But the two games shouldn't be on the same day. I knew he was going to say that. But, yeah, I know. Sunderland won one game, Gilles, and Sheffield United won one game. OK. What an interesting game that is. I think... I think... Right, last week... Palace and Liverpool should give each other... What do you call it? A guard of honour. So one should... Then they go through there and go round, and then they come through. That would be brilliant. Last week, Gary...

You got two points. What? And Paul. That is embarrassing. I wasn't here. Top 35%. That is embarrassing. Liam Paul. 151. We've never ever. You must be embarrassed. We've never got two points. You must be. You must be. Roy, Ian, Jill, you got two points too. LAUGHTER LAUGHTER

I've never seen him stunned. Wow. Let's rewind that bit. I bet you I got them too. You did. Of course. People drinking today. Everyone's a bit giddy over it. I think...

We've got this week. We've got this week, but I don't think you guys can win it, so I would like to present the David Moyes trophy. The David Moyes trophy? As I would call it, the David Moyes trophy. Thank you. Thank you. You know what? That hurts a lot more than I thought it would. It does, yeah. I really feel bad about it. So we'll put that on the...

Just put it by us. We're getting the runners-up medals where you take them off and throw them down. Right, us to go first then? Royce. Gary, you can go first. Go, go, Liverpool, Palace. 2-1 Liverpool. 2-1 Liverpool. We're not going to spend too much time on that. The next game is the biggest game. Liverpool turning up, do I? They're still on Dubai. I think Palace will be as pissed as them.

I don't know. I wish they actually both were pissed, the two teams, when they were playing. They might play better. They might just relax and try little stuff. People might get injured, Jill. It's a silly idea. LAUGHTER

they'll be goals 6-5 I'm going oh you see so I'm working yeah but we've lost look the trophy's over there what's your pride I'm very proud the season's over you just go to Ibiza you might as well step up in it I can't believe it man we've got two boys is there a chance to get a transfer for next season I said we've never got two was there only Barney where's Barney was there only one person won Super 6 this year the guy that came in here are they going to score two goals two winners

Two. What was that? She's worth playing. Two-one Liverpool. How much did we win? Three-one Liverpool. Three-one Liverpool. Palace. Palace. Palace. Palace. Palace. A million each. I think Palace now. That team's about... I fancy Chelsea. I will win this. I fancy Chelsea. Chelsea. Chelsea Forest. I just fancy...

I think Palace's team now go down as the best Palace team ever because they got over the line. That team's the best. What was the best Palace team before that?

Yours? Yeah, probably mine and Brighty's. You scored in the final, didn't you? Twice. Twice, yeah. But, like, I just think that once you can get it over... Why didn't he watch that? He didn't replay it. You know, he's... I saw an interview he did the other day. Did you see it? Because he wanted to win. Do you know what I mean? I saw the interview myself and it's like a dagger because he's never said that he should have started me because I believe he should have. I'd have roasted Brucey and Pallister. I'd have murdered them in that second game. And then I'd come off after six. You never scored at Old Trafford, though, did you? For England, I did, yeah. Oh.

I remember Greg going, you scored at them. We're done whole grudges. That's the one when Schmeichel just went like that. But their last act came out. On penalties, yeah. And you missed a pen? I did, yeah. So two people have won Super 6 this year, both won a million pounds each. Brilliant. That's so good. Is that good? Is that something to do with us? It's good, yeah? All six results. What is Chelsea? Chelsea. Yeah, but are they happy yet? Chelsea 2-1.

I don't know what it's about. But it won't be a draw because one of them has to win it. That's true. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. Let's go on that. We'll go for it. It's 2-1. You're trying to get in your good books again. 3-0 Arsenal. No chance. Good shout, Jamie. Go on, righty. Sad that they're doing well at the moment. They are, to be honest. I'll go... 2-0. 2-0 Arsenal. I'll go, yeah. 2-0 Arsenal. Yeah.

Newcastle Everton. Newcastle will win this. St James' Park. Listen, how confident we sound. We've got two fucking points. It's just like, we look like we're, oh, St James' Park. You've got to fake it till you make it. 2-1. 2-0. 2-0 Newcastle. You're making all the decisions. Probably would have gone for that. Three? No. No.

3-0? 3-0. No way. Definitely more than we thought. No way. This is a big game, this one. It could be that, you know. This is a big game. United, Villa. Villa. It's just, I mean... There's something about United, they just... They're crap. Are they bad? Yeah, you know, it just... They sometimes just have a random result, don't they? Nah.

it depends what Old Trafford is going to be there we haven't even spoke about the final I don't get what you're saying it's going to be worse if they win they won't care and if they lose they'll be on their knees that's exactly what I think I don't know about that so you think they'll be all buzzing to play against Villarreal when they've just won the cup do you think they'll win I think if they haven't won the cup and they go out there on Sunday it'll be tough

They've won one game in the league since February. I've heard, yeah. If they've won, they've just been in a good mood at least. You know what I mean? You can play. Have them won once in the last eight games. United. No, no, no. And they've lost every home game, it feels like. Apart from the Europa League. Let's call Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa. Villa.

You just can't go against your nice side. It's difficult. I'd go Villa. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. You're in bed with all them lads. David Gill, Ratcliffe. Picture them in bed with them. I don't mean in bed. Villa. Villa 3-1. 3-1.

He only did an interview with them and you have his life. You don't know what loyalty is. How many years have you been there since you were four years of age? Fulham City. Fulham City.

City? City surely to win. No, I'll go for City. If City win, if they beat Fulham, they might only need a draw. They don't need two wins, do they? Bournemouth to play tonight. What did you think about City not bringing Grealish on? Do you think he leaves? He didn't come on the last year's fine. He should leave. He didn't come on either last year's fine. Absolutely. Nobody was mentioning that. Because you look at Jack's demise, the player he was when he went there to the players he is now,

I couldn't understand from the time he was there, even when he was so-called on form, you never saw the Jack Grealish that they bought. It's just a shame. I think you've got to be careful to leave. I think you've almost got some, I don't know, because where's he go to? The photography. Can't I just sit in? No.

No, but I think he's almost discarded his fight his way back into it. He's not getting back into it. He didn't come on the last year's cup final against United when they were chasing him. Gary, they put a debutante in front of him. Yeah. A debutante. No, no, he's been discarded. That says everything. What age does he know, Jack? 29. Perfect. Is he that old? Jack still wants to be the main man, doesn't he? He was a villive. I'd go abroad then if I was Jack.

I'd go abroad. I'd go abroad. I'd play in a different type of football. Do you know what I said about Trent a few weeks ago about does he feel appreciated in this country? Jack might feel the same way. I need to come play in Italy or in Spain or in Germany. Go and play abroad. He was appreciated before he went to... No, I know. I'm just saying. He probably feels like a little bit lacking in love. The players like that need loving, don't they? I'd have brought him on in that FA Cup though. I feel like that too. What's the story?

I do love that one. Pete said they need love. Just pick me in the team. Jesus Christ. Big boy stuff. I know. You have to love me. You need love, though. You come across all hard. You need a bit of love. There you go, Jill. 2-0 City. You know Jill. You're going down there, Jill. You're going down there. 2-0. Well, I'm going to show me something. 2-0 City. I would never have done that. Would you not? Never have done that. I think Fulham would be... 1-1. Well done. Dear...

and we should have a playoff fine can we have a one off play off Sunderland Super 7 oh yes I'm a heady Sunderland versus Sheffield United yes I feel really nervous this week's Super 7 we're probably going to go Sheffield United even though I'd like to see Sunderland in the Premier League but I think just Sheffield United probably just have got a bit too much oh really what do you think Cara yeah yeah

You think Sheffield United? What do you think? Shetland. Another bit. Chef. That's what I was going to say. It's not the best plan segment. Double F. Can you put two Fs? You're right, Sunderland and Sheff. Two Fs. Oh, Sheffield! Sheffield United! Oh, now I know. Now we know. No, that's great. No, we're fine. We'll go Sheffield United. Are you going first? Yeah, we'll go 2-1 Sheffield United.

See, mine's hard. Who would you want back in the Premiership next year? I think Sunderland back in the Premier League. You need Sunderland in the Premiership. I agree. But I'm just telling you. The fans, everything. I think the Sunderland-Newcastle game. 2-2 penalties. Do you think Penrith? 2-2 penalties. 1-1 Penrith. 1-1. 1-1. I don't mind as long as Sunderland. But Sunderland win on pens. Yeah, on pens.

But we still get to lose one of his 1-1. Okay. But you'll be watching. Oh, no, you're doing a gig, aren't you? I'll still be watching. I'm not doing a gig. It's a Women's Champions League final. So we've got five minutes left. Thank you for Super 6. Europa League final tomorrow night. Oh, fuck.

Last little chat about Manchester United and Tottenham. I can't call this, you know. I feel like you could just toss a coin. I think United... Well, they will at the Saturday. I think United would just... The only thing is, if you look at the league table, Spurs have scored over 20 more league goals. They do have a goal in them, Spurs. That's a good point, though. He's done his homework. I think if the Tottenham players weren't injured...

I do think that probably could be like a 15-15 I still think United will win yeah I do I just think not being able to bring someone off the bench or something if you're totting them out it's going to be a lot for Spurs United's experience of big games I think so I think United will probably sneak it yeah that's what I think you mentioned the big players for United who've played in those games before haven't you as well you know Casemiro being one I suppose but

Yeah, Maguire, Casemiro, Fernandes, I think they'll... Could Ange do something? It would be nice for him. You just don't know. Probably Paris winning, Newcastle winning. After the season, you would talk, could Spurs win a trophy? Yeah. Wow. All the finals have gone, maybe...

It is written in the season like that, love. United win, I don't think it's... I mean, look, you celebrate a trophy, but they'll be a cautious celebration tomorrow night. I mean, not by the fans. The fans will praise it. Will you be gone too well? I think they'll go berserk if you think so. Do you think? I do. I think they'll think, that's the beauty of sport. You have an opportunity to almost forget what's just happened.

You get the incentives, all the contracts, Champions League come the summer. I think their interviews will be, we're so happy, we're delighted for the fans, but it's been a difficult season. That's the tone. That should be the tone. At the same time... I think they'll go hard. It's a special moment, though, for them, isn't it? Whoever wins. It doesn't make it a special season, but it's a special moment. And they played in Bilbao a few weeks ago and they won there, so they have a little bit of a good feeling towards that stadium. They won there comfortably. Yeah.

brilliant stage are you going to the barbecue they're having a barbecue aren't they is it I don't know what's that what's that even mean having a barbecue I didn't disagree I don't think there should be a parade through the city for winning the Europa League absolutely we were sitting here and I was talking about we keep saying Man United are one of the biggest clubs in the world if Barcelona or Real Madrid were playing this fine we'd be like what's ever happened to them but we're saying a parade through Manchester good luck with that what's the barbecue a

Apparently they're going to have a barbecue instead. Wait, are they training around or something? I don't know, maybe. You just can't imagine them all standing there with a situation like that. Room 101, barbecues are overrated. Oh, I love a barbecue. No, I do the worst ever, honestly. Why? I'm not a fan of barbecues. Do you not like a sausage sandwich?

Honestly, barbecue. I've got a room where I don't want to go. Smoke everywhere. Honestly. Do you know for food, that's been there 20, bonds, forget it. Oh, I love a barbecue. Oh, what's that? Do you not like a...

Like a burger or a sausage sandwich. Like a burger, but not a barbecue. So, Gal, do you think they will have a... Will they have... They won't have a parade. They're not having a parade. They're not having a parade. Good. They're just having a little game together. Fine. Our house is not having a parade. Finish it second. Why would they? Why would they? Does anybody have a parade? No. Maybe us. Take it outside the box. No.

imagine Spurs win oh that's a signal no Spurs are finishing what 16th we started the season we're not talking about the league we're talking about Europe forget the league yeah but when they started the season they didn't start the season saying we're going to try and win the Europa League how would you feel when you're in the league they're going to get in the Champions League aren't they they're going to be Champions League and the trophy will you be in your garden will you be in your garden

With what? Open the patio doors. If what? Have a barbecue. Crying. Probably not. You'd be crying in the car. Probably you won't be crying. Proper crying, like a proper bawling. I'm not fussed, I'm not fussed. You are fussed. I think that both of the teams, they both knew it. You're Arsenal until I die. I was at Arsenal Sunday, the Arsenal fans won United to win desperately at United. What course did they do? And guess who's going to the final? The Europa League final? Yeah. For who? I'm just going. Gillette? Gillette.

No, I'm not going for anyone. I'm going with Mr. Dean. Mr. Dean's invited me. For who? You must be looking for something. What do you mean? For... Because he loves the game. I'm going with Mr. Dean. He loves football. Why is he going? Because he's an arse, the man, isn't he? Yeah, because he's a football man. You know, I think it could be either a complete disaster of a game or a completely unbelievable game. That's not what we're asking. I've just been invited by Mr. Dean. You don't have invites, do you? Private chess? Huh? Private chess?

I did say I'll meet you there because I've got to do something. Enjoy it, Ryder. Thank you very much. You deserve it. You're so humble. Well done, everybody. That's what the season is.
