Addiction is a lie since the idea there is no other choice is a lie. If there was no other choice there would be no choice or resulting conflict. The principle of choice always allows at least one of all possible choices and not choosing. Obsessive thoughts, or lies, are the primary motivators of reactive, impulsive, and compulsive behaviors. Choosing denial to claim what is happening is only what we think is happening is an excuse to act blindly and the inner and outer conflict caused is evidence we know better. If you think you have no other choice, you can think again or think you can't. Either way, thinking honestly, is a choice. Lies are not wrong thoughts, they are wrong thoughts, thought to be right and thus true and real. A lie's claim is to be only what it is not; true. Anything that only appears to exist when it is the opposite of what it is has no basis in reality. At the other extreme when a lie is a lie it is not a lie. In either case, a lie can only exist within the confines of imagination, which when believed true, is a delusion or an illusion thought to be real. To think a lie is true is to think the liar is the all-powerful creator of truth. That's a leap since the alleged creator is always full of doubt, knowing better. What is empty is full of emptiness. When thought thinks of it-self, it thinks up a self born in thought. What only exists in thought is imagined. The ego is a reflection of imagination so it is nothing but what it is thought to be. Ego is a lie that seems to become who we are once we think our thought is capable of turning what is wrong into right, or a lie into truth. Who we are is not who we think we are, who we are is who we are, regardless of what we think. Like Truth, who we are does not rely on thinking, thinking relies on Reality and Truth. Talking to yourself is talking to a self incapable of listening or responding beyond the limits of the thought(s) appearing to give it or them a voice. If you experience repetitive voices in your head they speak and argue only as a reflection of obsessive ideas you believe represent you while they are only an image of ego talking to it-self. Self- consciousness is roughly defined as feeling undue awareness of oneself's appearance, or actions. This embarrassed state of awareness would not be undue if we were thinking about who we actually are rather than taking the joke about who we think we are so seriously we forget to laugh. The effort to manage this image, as truth, is largely what defines manic, obsessive tho
The Mental Obsession Discussion:We Know We Know. We Are Aware We Are Aware. We Are as We Are. Reality is unlimited. Nothing can be added or subtracted to or from It. The idea that how and what we think creates reality suggests otherwise. Acting on such backward thoughts leads to behaviors that are out of order. Anxious and systemic disorders reflect this impossible attempt to reverse the Laws of the universe that govern nature’s order. Disease is the lack of ease created and maintained by such twisted mental gymnastics. Sharing principles affirms and confirms our indivisibility.
