not going to your parks or your roads or your bridges. That's going nowhere. That's going. That's Trump digging a hole in the ground and taking that money that could help you in your neighborhood and your people and throwing it right into a hole in the ground. But it's not actually a hole. It's the pockets of people like Elon Musk, already the rich. So we're taking money again from the poor and we're giving it to the richest. So we're cutting off the health care of working MAGA people and their parents who are in a

old folks homes, and we're giving it to the defense contractors. The plan will meld new technology. So this is it. Here it is. I bet some of them guys are richer than Elon, by the way. I wouldn't doubt it. The order also tasked the department with examining methods and technologies for intercepting missile threats before they can launch or in their initial. Oh, right, because that's going to cost a lot of money. Trump vowed that 175 billion missile defense. And you know, that's just it always runs over.

We're going to have to probably spend three times that. And then it's not going to work anyway. We've got to buy one for Israel, too. We've got to buy one. We got it. Trump vowed that a hundred and seventy five billion missile defense program would allow the United States to effectively counter advanced. There's nobody is going to send a nuke our way. That's not happening. Once fully constructed, the Golden Dome will be capable of intercepting. But again, we're fighting paper. There's nobody out there. This is all invented. So we can't.

So as Eisenhower said, beware the undue influence of the military industrial complex. So instead of this going to make sure you don't go bankrupt when you get sick, for instead of this going to make sure your kids have better schools and better parks and better cleaner water and step up, this is where it's going. But congressional Republicans have put forth $150 billion. You know the difference between a million dollars and a billion dollars? About a billion dollars.

That's the difference. $150 billion supplemental military spending package with about $25 billion set aside to kickstart the Golden Dome project. So there's an extra $150 billion for defense contractors in this new budget and $25 billion of that extra. So that's what Doge was supposed to save us, $150 billion. That's all gone. They didn't even vote on that, by the way. So they're not even.

Not only are they not scopping the Doge money, they're actually adding another hundred. So this idea that they're still funded, it's still funded. It's all stuff. That's right. It's all funded. The 150 defense spending plan is one piece of a larger bill that Trump and his allies are hoping to pass through the reconciliation process. So this is the big, beautiful bill. And all the Democrats are getting behind it, except for a few of them. Trump expressed confidence it will pass. We've already spoken to everybody. It's everybody's everybody's in line.

Just sounds like the Democrats over the last four years. We don't need to waste $500 billion on a Golden Dome missile defense system. The best way to protect our country is to stop waging endless wars, bombing and invading other countries, puts a target on our back, makes our country less safe, and is the primary cause of the refugee crisis.

It does sound like an updated Star Wars. Now, go to the next one. It would be fully operational before the end of my term. That sounds a little bit like a jab. So we'll have it done in about three years. I think, Dr. Paul, the chance of that happening is zero. He said the plan of the DOD has selected should cost about $175 billion to complete. Now, we didn't just fall off the truck, Dr. Paul. When we look at them saying, oh, it's only going to cost $175 billion, we know you're going to have to add probably another zero to that at least.

Yes, and it isn't just like you come up with $175 and you have to take it out of somebody's pocket and it's paid off. It just adds to the debt. Then how long is that debt going to be? Well, it will continue forever until the whole system closes. So it's not even the $175. It's the accumulated interest I saw today, which we expected. Interest rates are going up.

People will buy the treasury bills and pay the extra interest. So it's a lot more than $175 billion and the odds of it being successful are pretty slim. First of all, this is a defense against ballistic missiles, hypersonic even, who knows.

But the thing that we've learned, I think, from the Ukraine war is that warfare itself is changing dramatically. This is the first war that has become a drone war. These aren't like big missiles, like big Soviet ICBMs coming over and we knock them out of the sky. The war itself has changed. So who's to say between now and $175 billion later, if they build it for that, which we know they won't, it'll be in the trillions,

By the time they have it deployed, the whole way that warfare is done may change. It may be lasers. It may be all sorts of things that we don't know now. We're building a massive monstrosity that basically has its ideological roots in the past, in the Cold War, in a world that no longer exists. Probably a cheaper Golden Dome would be just to stop irritating other countries. Then they won't want to shoot missiles at us. Oh, no, no, no. They hate us because of our freedom. That's why they want to do it.

I remember that story. So even Ron Paul is laughing at Trump on this. Go ahead, Kurt. Remember they hated us for our freedom? Boy, if only they could be here, they would love us now. They would love us.

Because we're doing this to ourselves. So this is how all empires end. And we're ending the same way. We're overextending. So they've hijacked our country. They've hijacked our treasury. And instead of investing money in our own country, which at least China actually does that.

They invest in their own country. We're not doing that. We're taking that. The people who run the country, the handful of billionaires, aren't just sucking the treasury dry. And they just keep printing money and they will not invest money in because they don't care. As George Carlin said, they don't care about you. They don't give an

F about you. They don't care. And he said it over. Remember in that special, he kept saying they don't care about you. They don't care about you. You don't have elected officials. You have owners. There's an owner class and they own you and they're coming for your social security. And that's also happening. So they're coming for your Medicaid. And anyway, so the whole this is again, meet the new boss. Same as the old boss. They're not doing what they said. They're not balancing the budget. They're not giving us free speech.

They're not reigning in the Pentagon. They're ramping up the Pentagon, and it's on steroids. And again, they're not investing in your own country. This is how all empires end, and we're ending. We have the worst healthcare in the Western world. We pay 100% more for it than the rest of the Western world. And people love that system.

They're so afraid that they might actually get a middleman out between them and their doctor. Oh my God, no, it'll be worse. There couldn't be a worse system in the world for medicine than we have in this country. And that's why they propagand. And if you think Medicare is somehow worse than the care we have, oh no, but those people will be, they'll try to mandate medical treatment. They already did that. And you still don't have healthcare. They already,

When he said, hey, Bernie, in 2015 and 2016, you should run as an independent. Bernie Sanders turned to him and Jesse Ventura and said, I don't want to end up like Ralph Nader. That was the choice he made. He's trying to make it seem like, well, I'm I was opposing Trump, so I had to go with Hillary Clinton. No, you were looking out for your own political ass. That's what you are doing. So this again, he's a phony.

And it doesn't bring me any joy to say that I was a big Bernie Sanders supporter, but I'm not a support. I'm not a sycophant. I'm not a I'm not tied to Bernie Sanders, the politician. I'm tied to the ideas he was pushing. Right. You know, bringing jobs back to America, making the tax system fair, ending wars, health care that's affordable and works for everybody, that kind of stuff.

He doesn't want to be like Ralph Nader, the guy that got seatbelts in cars. Yeah, that's right. A guy with an actual legacy that actually did something? Yeah, that would be a shame.

And so here he is saying that. So. So that's false what he just said. But watch that. And so and good on. So he's like, I had to side with the cheaters. I had to side with them. But it even gets better. Watch this. It ended up being him anyway. So why don't we burn it down? It ended up being Trump anyway. Exact. This is exactly what Jimmy Dore was saying since 2016. Why? It's going to end up being. Let's do it. Building season. Yeah. Yeah.

Well, because it's easy to say burning it down means that children are not going to have food to eat, that the schools will deteriorate. That all happened anyway. The homeless population exploded under Joe Biden. What are you talking about? Well, it's not that simple. The children are being slaughtered right now under Joe Biden. I would have. He first he'll never come. But I don't think he would have. He didn't see that coming.

They're reaching out to young men. So remember, we needed Joe Rogan. Yeah, we need Joe Rogan. And Andrew Schultz's friends, Charlemagne, who supported the Democrats still this day. Yes. And so it seems like a neutral, good, safe ground with young men. And he seems to have a following. Yes. He didn't know he was going to get asked real questions at all.

And so they said, aren't the Democrats also? Is that the whole thing? You had to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris because we're saving democracy. Well, there he is admitting that it's actually the Democrats that are a threat to democracy and the Democrats are the ones who rigged their primary. So we haven't actually had a voice in government or a choice since 2008.

The argument for working within the Democratic Party is that people say, well, that's where the working classes, that's where the unions are. Let's stay within that. People are familiar with it. That's been their home for many, many years. There's truth to that, some truth to that. The argument against working within the Democratic Party is that for millions of Americans, both parties

are looked upon with derision, with disrespect. Polls show that half the American people don't even know the difference between the Democratic and Republican Party. And I can tell you very honestly, this is just as a practical politician, which is what I am, when I campaigned in Vermont, and I don't think Vermont is terribly different in this respect than any other state in the Union, you know, we went all over the state and we shook probably 30,000, 40,000 hands. I don't think that more than a dozen times

people came up to me and said, "Bernie, I can't vote for you because I'm a really strong Democrat and I believe in the Democratic Party, or I'm a strong Republican and I believe in the Republican Party." They don't. I think what ends up happening is people don't see much of a choice. There's the option, you know, you've got the Democrats, Republicans, sometimes this one's a little bit worse, sometimes this one's a little bit better. But I think that by standing up and telling the truth that both parties are controlled by big money, which is clearly the case,

that neither party, and I don't want to, and I should tell you by the way that within the Congress and the Democrats, you have a lot of good people, and I'm not here to put them down, you know their names, good people who year after year have fought the good fight. But I think that nationally, the party has on issue after issue sold out so many times that if you go before the people and say, hey, I'm a Democrat, you don't usually generate a lot of enthusiasm.

So the guy who had the person who actually sold out was Bernie Sanders. So that's the real Bernie Sanders. That's the Bernie Sanders people thought they were voting for in 2016. And he's not that guy anymore. Now, he's just a guy who goes around and says, you've got to be in the Democratic Party. That's it. Oh, that guy from Andrew Schultz is Akash Singh. That's his name. So here, Bernie Sanders flip-flop on the Democratic Party. I don't have time, but you get it. You get it. So Bernie Sanders is a big flip-flopper. So the FDA is pulling the COVID shots, limited, but they are doing it. FDA to limit COVID shot approval, and it's only supposed to be for people over 65 and those with special medical conditions. But there's a catch. Until today, as

As Paul Thacker says, the U.S. government recommended six month old infants get a covid vaccine. The FDA now limits covid vaccines to people who are 65 and over and those at high risk of serious illness.

Below our recommendations for the rest of the world, America was a complete vaccine free. So the rest of the world has been doing this. Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, even the UK. You have to be 75 years or older.

So they were all they were the latecomer. You know why? Because Big Pharma owns our country more than those other countries. That's why. Because we're the only country that allows Big Pharma to put ads on our television news shows or in our newspapers. Those other countries don't. They're not allowed to do that. And that's why they had more sensible covid vaccine policies than we did.

And that's why it's taken so long. And so here's a guy who is now working at the FDA. Now, I've showed you this guy before when he lied about COVID. He lied about the emergency use authorization. But he has told some truths about COVID, too. So he's one of those. He's what they call a limited hangout guy. And so now he's working at the FDA. And listen to what he had to say. He's now the head of the Center for Biologics and

evaluation and research at the FDA. His name is Vinny Prasad. And I've done videos about him before showing you how he's lied about RFK and now he's working for RFK. Isn't that interesting? So here we go. So based on prior immunologic endpoints, that means proof that the vaccine can create antibodies in people, companies can apply for, and we will consider approval for 65 and older and or people at high risk of severe COVID-19.

So if you're older than 65 or you're high risk for COVID-19, we're going to use the immunologic endpoints we've been using to grant approval. This is a tremendously broad category. This effectively means 100 to 200 million Americans, those with the most favorable benefit to harm balance, will be covered by such approvals.

The CDC has a list of the conditions that qualify as high risk for severe COVID-19. You can peruse the list. It's also in our New England Journal paper. It is a broad list. There's a lot of things on this list. I'll just highlight a few. Obesity is on this list. Physical inactivity is on this list. Mood disorders, including depression, is on this list. And all immunocompromised conditions are on this list. In other words, at-risk Americans can be reassured that they will be covered by such approval.

So that means basically anybody can still get it and your insurance will cover it. That's really what that means. And as our guest of the show, friend of the show, Mary Talley Bowden, points out, he's very careful not to mention that pregnant women are on the list of high risk patients because he knows people will freak out. But they are on the list. Pregnant women will continue to get these shots without placebo controlled trials.

He's doing that. So at last count, 14% of pregnant women were getting the COVID shots still. And he knows what that means because I know what that means.

Warning, if you are obese, this is considered a risk factor and you will be encouraged to take boosters. By the way, don't forget that the two people in charge of the vaccine department at the FDA resigned over the boosters. They thought the booster program was so corrupt and so wrong that they resigned and they had been there for 35 years.

And guess what they did? They let him go. And then they put two lackeys in there who went along with whatever big pharma said. And they're still there. FDA is to limit COVID vaccine approval to Americans over the age of 65, those with medical conditions. Note, the list of risk factors is long and there is no current evidence of benefit from boosters, but they will continue to push you to booster up.

And here is, so I have to tell you that the boosters are safe and effective and they will help you. They won't stop you from getting COVID, but they're going to keep you from getting seriously ill, hospitalized or dead. So that's fantastic. Here's the long list of if you have these conditions, you're still going to be encouraged by the FDA to get the boosters. This is the FDA. It's going to encourage you. So that's it.

It was up until five seconds ago. They were telling you to give it to a six month old baby up until five seconds ago. They estimate more than 100 million Americans are still going to be eligible for the shots. 100 million. So that's a third of the country. Basically, a third of the country is still going to be eligible for the shots, which means that they. OK, that that means that money is going to go to big pharma. That's what that means.

Uh, in past years, the shots have been broadly recommended, including to children and to generally healthy people. It was not immediately clear whether healthy people under 65 would be able to get their shots or whether insurance would pay for them healthy. So, but what they did was they got around that. Well, we're just going to pretend like most people are unhealthy. And so they'll, they'll be covered by the insurance. So big pharma gets the money. That's what that is. That's a hundred million Americans, uh,

If they do not make it permissive, meaning that individuals who are not in this risk group, it is likely now that payers will not pay for the vaccine. So, OK, therefore, in a sense, it is equivalent of taking away the vaccine from someone. So there's people still yelling about this. The change, which top Trump health officials had earlier forecast in vaguer terms, comes just two days before the agency's independent advisers are set to make recommendations on selecting the formula.

that vaccine makers should use to potentially adjust their shots to target the strain of the coronavirus currently circulating the country. The new framework will also seek for vaccine makers to conduct a randomized controlled trial before the agency signs off on coronavirus shot for healthy people. So they're still saying they're going to sign off. We need you to do an actual randomized trial, though. And I'm sure that's not going to be rigged. I'm sure that trial is going to be done on the up and up.

When possible, the agency will encourage manufacturers to complete such trials. They will encourage them to complete such trials after they get the agency's approval for a vaccine for high-risk groups. After. Did I just read that correct? Does it say after? So they're going to approve it, but then they want them to do the trial after it gets approval. That doesn't seem suspect at all, does it? The FDA will approve vaccines for high-risk persons and at the same time demand robust gold standard data on persons at low risk.

The clinical trials will inform future direct... It's unbelievable. So this is not what Maha... This is not what people voted for. This is a little bit... It's a little better. It's a little better. During a presentation Tuesday afternoon, the FDA leaders did not directly say whether healthy people younger than 65 would be eligible to get the shots. Vinny Prasad said the agency is interested in companies conducting... So we already did this. Okay. Uh...

In recent weeks, Trump administration has questioned the testing of vaccine safety for coronavirus shots, introducing uncertainty over whether an updated shot would be available in the fall. RFK, the nation's health secretary and founder of a prominent anti-vax, this is the Washington Post, has said he intends to shift the way vaccines are tested, a notion that has sparked concern among medical experts. You mean he wants to have real tests against, he wants to have better safety testing?
