I don't know where this has come from, y'all. Maybe it's from the Lord. Maybe it's a good thing. But lately, I've been getting more concerned about all of the chemicals in my products. Like, I've been looking more closely towards just like my beauty products and anything else that could have harsh chemicals in it. And these days, it seems like everything has so many unnecessary chemicals in it. And I was really surprised to learn that my laundry detergent is one of the

worst culprits. Every wash was leaving behind this harsh chemical residue I didn't even know about. So that's why I made the switch to Earth Breeze laundry sheets because they don't have those harsh chemicals like dyes, parabens, phosphates, and preservatives. And I feel so much better knowing that I'm not exposing myself and even potentially my dogs. Like I literally wash all of their bedding in this stuff. That we're not getting exposed

to those unnecessary toxins anymore. If you want a gentler clean, switch to Earth Breeze right now. And you can actually get 40% off with your auto shipment at earthbreeze.com backslash on ice. That's earthbreeze.com slash on ice.

Hello, everybody. Welcome to another episode of Christ with Coffee on Ice. I am your host, Allie Yost. It is a joy and honor to be back with you guys today.

It's such a joy. I literally am obsessed with you guys. I love, I love this part of my week. Happy Friday. I just bless y'all. In the name of Jesus, I bless you. I hope that you are having a great day. I hope that you're having such a great week. We have our Christ. We have our Bible here. We have

our coffee on ice which looks kind of like soup now it does it looks kind of like soup i made it hours ago and um all the ice is gone so it is what it is we're enjoying it it's still very good it's still cold gorgeous

Okay, guys. Hi. Yeah, I am so excited for today because I'm clueless as to what we're going to talk about. Oops. Okay, I wouldn't say I'm clueless. Also, wait, before I get into the episode, can I share this with you? You may have already seen it. If you're watching, you can see it in my hands. Okay, I'm going to hide it. I have the cutest little bookmark for my Bible. And it was one of those nights where I was scrolling on Amazon, scrolling

scrolling on Amazon past like 10:00 PM is a dangerous time to be scrolling on Amazon, but that's what I was doing. It was definitely past 10:00 PM and I'm just bored. I'm scrolling a lot of times. Thank you. Holy spirit, because he does give us self control. A lot of times I really just scroll and I'm just looking, I actually don't buy anything. And this is

really good for Ali because once upon a time I could never just scroll without physically buying things so now I scroll and I'm just getting inspo I'm looking at things I'm like I'm giving myself time to think about it and sit on it because typically it's like the next morning you wake up and you're like I didn't even need any of that stuff right it's kind of like binging but shopping

I had an issue once upon a time, but I don't anymore. Thank you, God, for the freedom. He freed me from that. But I still will kind of scroll because it's just fun to look. Okay, but this is not a good example because this time I was scrolling and I did buy this, but it was only like $6. Okay, it wasn't a big deal. And I was already needing to get like new highlighters and pens and I needed like a new pencil holder. So I'm getting all of my essentials for studying the Bible. And then bookmarks came up and I was like, oh my gosh, I need more bookmarks.

because sometimes y'all i don't know about you but i want to mark more than just two places in the bible like typically most bibles come with at least one ribbon or two ribbons you see to mark where you want to be in the bible but sometimes i want to mark more than one i want to mark like three different places okay so i was like bookmarks such a great idea so i get this bookmark and somebody had to have handmade this i mean it is like the stinking cutest first i saw a little mushroom

It's like this crocheted little mushroom cutie pie and it has a string on it. So then the mushrooms like sticking out at the top of your Bible. And then the string is obviously what keeps the place in your Bible. But then I saw this cute little piece of bread

And I was like, wait, no, the bread. This is what feeds our soul, right? So I was like, oh my gosh, this is actually quite biblical. I love him and he's blushing. Anyway, so that's my bookmark. Look, I'll show you. I will show you how it works. Okay, it's not the most practical. It's more for the cuteness of it. Like it's really actually not that practical of a bookmark, but it's cute. Look at him just peeking out of my mouth.

I'm obsessed. He's so, look at his little eyes. Beep beep. And he doesn't have a name. Maybe we can name him. He's our little red. Anyway, thanks for letting me share that story with you guys, okay? Anyway. But today's gonna be a great day. Today is a good day. Today, we are going to talk about something that is a little intimidating for me. I'm gonna keep it a buck. I think it's intimidating to me because this is just intimidating because there is no like fully grasping the concept of the Trinity.

but I would love to just have a conversation. Can we just talk about it? Because I'm not going to come to this episode being like, I figured it out, guys. I get it. I have full clarity and understanding of the Trinity. I got it. Like, I'm not saying that actually. There are parts of the Trinity where I'm like, wait, but okay. And then that, so then which part of God do I, like, I feel like that'll just be a thing. The Trinity may not be something that we could fully grasp just because God is so much bigger. And I think that

when humility can step into the room, we can just be humble enough to be like, you know what? Okay. My brain can only be so big and my brain can only wrap around what brain can wrap around. And you know, I think there is an ending with that just because we are human and we're these little peas and we're, we're smart. God's made us smart. He also asks us for just

faith to just believe, you know? Like understanding yes is good, but also just believe. And not in a naive way. Like I think we should try to understand the Trinity to the best of our ability. But if there is like, you know, a pocket of it that we're still kind of like, but how? And we can't? It's okay. Just

Just have faith. God just wants us to have faith in him and all parts of him. And so that's what we're going to talk about today. And I'm a little scared, but I don't know. I just feel it on my heart that we're supposed to talk about it. Okay. So grace and love and compassion and understanding for all of us. Also, I would

I would love for this to be conversational where like if you are tuning in on YouTube or anywhere else where there's a comment section, I don't know, Patreon for early access. If you're here on Wednesday and we're early, hey, we can do it in Patreon. Yeah, but I would love in the comment section, I know that there are things that you guys can bring to the table, okay? I'm not the only one. You guys also hear from God, which I love. Thank you, God, for the body of Christ. Thank you for family in the church.

But I know the Lord has also spoken to y'all and there might even be like things that God has showed you to be like, it's like this, like the Trinity is like this. You know, some people, um, I've seen some people on the internet say that like the Trinity is like water. Like there's different kind of mediums and forms of water, but it's all from the same substance. Like it's all water, you know, it's like water.

We have water and then we have like water vapor and then we have ice, you know, but it's all water, but it's different forms of water, but it's all the same. I also heard this other analogy the other day where somebody had said it's like an apple. There's the skin of the apple, there's the insides of the apple, and then there's the seeds of the apple.

You can even say the juice too. You can use the juice for something. But either way, it's like there's different parts of the apple, but it's all apple. It's just different branches of apple. Yeah.

You know what I mean? Okay. Anyway, I'm gonna stop. But I think we should just try to wrap our minds around the Trinity right now. Because I think the one thing for me, and this is like a recent kind of revelation for me, is like there are obviously different parts of God, but it's all God. The Trinity plays three different roles in our walk with the Lord. They all offer us different mediums or different things of God. And so trying to separate that in my mind was like a very new thing for me.

For a majority of my walk, y'all, and I don't know if anyone like relates to this, this is something I'm still actively walking through and may continue to walk through is like separating the three, but also keeping them together because it's all God. But like understanding who the Father is and understanding who Jesus is and understanding who the Holy Spirit is and how to be friends with all those parts of God and understanding

understanding what each part represents. What each part represents. Okay. Like I was saying, okay, let me get back to it. So in the beginning and for a majority of my walk with Jesus and the Lord has been like me and Jesus, like he's been bestie. He's been homeboy. He's been like, he's God. Okay. There's fear of God still, of course, but he's been like the one thing in my walk with all the Trinity is there, but it's like,

me and Jesus have been super, super tight. But what I felt God challenging me to do is like really go to him as the father. Like I never really was acknowledging God as father and going to him when I need things. I was always like, whenever I needed anything, I would just go to Jesus, which is great. He's God. Okay. So,

That's great. I just think I needed further just wisdom, understanding, knowledge of the Trinity in general, and knowing that I have access to all three and not just Jesus. Does that make sense? He's a very crucial part of the Trinity because it even says in scripture that, you know, nobody can get to me, the father, without going through the son first, right? That the way to the father is through the son. So Jesus, very important, very important. But I didn't,

I guess I didn't realize that I could have a relationship with all three. Does that make sense? Like an intimate relationship with all three parts of the Trinity. And so, yeah, that's cool. That's fun. It kind of makes me feel like I got more of God. I'm like, wait, there's more?

there's more. And I think sometimes like, obviously I've always believed in the Trinity and I always believed in the father and the son and the Holy spirit, but I didn't know that I could like be friends with all three parts. So when I found that out, I was like, wait, this is fun. Like, I feel like I just got more of God, you know? So,

So I'm going to try my best to explain the Trinity and I am using the internet to help me. But yeah, I think this is just a fun topic to talk about. Okay, so let's just have a conversation. I would love for us to just have a conversation. Okay, the Trinity is a core Christian doctrine stating that God exists as one being in three co-equal, co-eternal, and co-soul.

substantial persons, the Father, the Son, who is Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. One God in three persons. So the other thing that I had learned a few months back is that the Holy Spirit is also

a person. Jesus is a person. Father is a person. Holy Spirit is also a person. I don't know. I guess I just always thought that that was, you know, the Holy Ghost. Like it was like a spirit, you know, when Jesus ascended into heaven, he had left his spirit. So I'm thinking ghost, Holy Ghost, you know, I'm not thinking a person, but it is one God in three persons. So the Holy Spirit is also a person.

The Trinity asserts that there is only one God, but that God is experienced and understood as three distinct persons. Yeah, this is so cool, guys. God is so cool. Co-equal and co-eternal. Each person of the Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is fully God.

It's not a piece of God or a part of God. Jesus isn't a piece of God and the Holy Spirit isn't a piece of God and the Father isn't a piece of God. And then like, it's not like a puzzle piece where it's like one third, one third, one third. It's like all fully, three persons are all fully God possessing the same divine attributes and nature. They're also co-eternal, meaning they have always existed and will always exist together.

That also makes me think of the beginning of John where it says, let me go to it really quick. In the beginning, the word already existed. The word was with God and the word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him and nothing was created except

through him. The word gave life to everything that was created and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness can never extinguish it. But what this is saying is that everything of God, including Jesus, the Holy Spirit, even the word of God, God, it all existed and has always existed even before time was created by God and the earth and heaven was created. He has always existed.

They have always existed and will always exist together. Consubstantial, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit share the same essence or substance. While they are one in essence, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have distinct roles

and functions in God's relationship with humanity. So the Father, often seen as the source and origin of the Godhead, the one who begets the Son. The Son, who is Jesus, the Word made human,

flesh who came to earth as a human being in the form of Jesus. The Holy Spirit, the bond of love between the Father and Son who inspires and empowers believers. It's important to understand that the Trinity is not a split personality or three separate gods. They are distinct persons, but they are one God working together in unity.

The Trinity is a profound mystery that we may not fully grasp, but it's a core belief of Christianity, teaching us about the nature of God. So also, I believe that the Lord, that God has allowed these three parts of him that are fully God. It's all one God. It's God.

But I think that he's allowed this for further understanding for us to teach us more about the nature of God. And so I think breaking that down for us is also a way for us to like receive God and see those different sides of him through the Trinity. The concept

of the Trinity is revealed throughout the Bible, not in one single verse, but through various passages that point to the distinct roles and natures of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Instead of focusing on how, it's more helpful to focus on the who and why of the Trinity. It's about understanding that God is a relational God, a God who loves us and wants to be in relationship with us.

That is so beautiful and so true. All right, so let's start with the Father. I just want to break down the three parts of the Trinity and what those roles should represent for us believers walking with God, believing in the Trinity, but like what do each, we understand now that there are different roles and kind of different sides of God's face and his heart in having relationship with him through the Trinity. What are their roles then? I think is what we should discuss next.

In the Trinity, you can see the Father as the originated source and first principle of life, the creator and sustainer of all things, and the one who eternally begets the Son and breathes the Holy Spirit. So the Father is the ultimate source of the Trinity. The Father is the creator of all things, both visible and invisible, and the one who sustains and governs the universe.

The Father eternally breathes the Holy Spirit, who is the bond of love between the Father and the Son.

The Trinity is not a mathematical equation, but rather a relational reality where three distinct persons are one God. The best way that I've understood how to see the Father is literally like a dad. He's the source. He is the creator. He is the one who is in charge. He's in power. He is the one sitting on the throne and Jesus is at the right hand of him. But I also see him like as a father.

you know, where he is the one to provide. When you think about who you are as like a little girl or a little boy, and you just naturally rely on your father to provide, you know, or your parents. But it's like, when you think about a dad, that is typically the role.

is that dad provides. And I think that that's also why God asks us to have childlike faith is that when you think about a child, they're not worrying about the very things that they just know will be provided for them. When you're a kid and you're kind of naive to those things, you don't worry about those things. It's because you understand like, oh, well, my dad, my parents, like it's that type of dependency that God encourages when he says childlike faith.

it's a faith where you don't worry. It's a faith where you believe that your father is going to provide, you know that he is actually, you know that your father is going to provide, you know, and you may not know about all the moving pieces and the things that may have to happen to have that thing, that very thing provided for you, you know, just as you were a kid, like dinner was always on the table. Maybe you didn't always know everything that your parents were doing behind the scenes to make that happen, but you just, you didn't worry about it because you were just a kid, you know, like

you were just outside playing with your friends. There was no worry. You just trusted and you knew that your parents were going to provide, right? That your father would provide. And so I think that's a lot of what God asks us to do when we have that childlike faith and seeing him as a true father who provides. And so that has been something that's been actually very new for me to walk through is like, see,

"Seeing Abba Father as a Father who provides." So I, like I said, kind of would always just go to Jesus for everything. I'd be like, "Jesus, please provide." And what's so sweet is like Jesus still would, you know? Or he would be like looking at the Father saying, "Hey, Allie," you know? And they're all there with me,

But I was never directly going to the Father when I needed something. I would always go to Jesus, which was great. But I felt Jesus being like, "Hey, I want you to know my Father though. Like, this is great, Al, and I'm here for you and I love you. And I'm happy to even pass the word, but like, you gotta know my Father."

So that has been something I've been actively like practicing is that when I need something or if something needs to be, or I just, I need that security of a father. Like I need that security of like, God, I need you to provide for me right now. And it doesn't have to always just be things. It's like, I need you to provide peace for me right now, you know? And then he breathes the Holy Spirit and then the Holy Spirit is the comforter. And so I don't want to get too ahead of myself. We'll get to that. But yeah,

if I'm ever like, I need you, God, it's the father that I go to because he's the ultimate provider. Even the word father could be triggering for a lot of us. That might not be an easy relationship in our lives. If I'm speaking to someone right now who's like, I don't even know how to do that because my father just wasn't in my life. He wasn't present or, you know, whatever the circumstance may be, or you just didn't have a healthy relationship with your father, or you did, if you did, then this person,

probably could be an easier thing for you to do. But for some of us where maybe that's not as easy, I think seeing God as a father is like hard, you know, when your only other comparison to a father is your earthly father. And I think a lot of times God wants to show us that he is not like your earthly father. If you weren't treated in a way where you felt safe provided for that, no matter what he was going to

you know, be there to support you as a child, as you were his child, like you didn't have that type of support, whether it was emotionally or, you know, providing things physically like food on the table, whatever that looked like. It's very hard to separate the two when that's all

you know through your earthly father. But I think a big challenge for a lot of us Christians, where if we don't have the best relationships with our parents, that's a hard thing to separate. But God wants you to know that he isn't like your earthly father. If this is something that's hard for you to do, that he is a father who will show up

for you no matter what not just sometimes but like no matter what he will always provide and that is a wound in your heart that God will gladly patch up if you allow him and it will also I think mend any resentment or like bitterness that you could even have towards you know your earthly father if that is something that's hard for you so anyway I feel like that's like oh

another topic but that is the father is provider dad you know and I think a lot of times I would pray and I'd be like father but it wasn't like connecting to my heart like saying that and allowing it to connect to my heart I think that's the biggest thing that I've been walking through is like no he is my provider though no he is my father he is Abba so anyway so that's

Dad. Now Jesus, Jesus is so special. I love Jesus because I feel like Jesus has always represented and is God, but like in human form, he represented who God is and God's character in human form.

And I think without Jesus, I don't know if God would have ever felt like that to us. I think that we almost needed God, even though he's not, but like we needed God to be humanized in a way where he was a person.

you know, and he is a person and just showing us the characteristics and the heart of God is what Jesus has done for me in my journey. Oh my gosh, I would not be here if it wasn't for Jesus. And if it wasn't for God sending his one and only son for us to also have

have a relationship with Jesus. Like what the heck? There's so many reasons to God sending the father, sending his one and only son. But one of them for me is like companionship. Like Jesus is like best friend. Jesus is best friend. He is like best friend. He is brother. He walks with me in life. He's literally best friend. Like, I don't know how else to explain it. And I go to him for like, you know, counsel and I go to him for everything, you know? But I feel like that's the special, unique,

side of God's face that Jesus brings to the table is like that friendship. I've really been able to have a good friendship with Jesus and wait, I wanna add something else to that too.

Jesus is God in human form who came to earth to live among us, die for our sins, and offer a path to eternal life. Oh my gosh, I just love Jesus. I love him so much. I don't know what I would do without him. Yeah, many things, especially our sins, especially our path to eternal life, but also just friendship, like companionship, just walking through life with him. And I

Yeah, he just brings a lot of comfort also. I think all three of the Trinity can bring comfort, but I mean, Jesus brings so much comfort and friendship and companionship. I also think that aside from like me sharing my own little testimony there of how Jesus is such a companion, he's also like big brother role model. You know, like I think Jesus was a very important person in the Trinity for the reason of being an example of showing us

So, you know, we have the Holy Spirit, which we're about to touch on in a second, who can speak to us. And we have the Father who provides all. But then Jesus is like the one that shows us how to walk, like not just talk the talk, but walk the walk as well. Like he's he's a role model. He's we look up to. We want to be like we want to reflect like we want to be more like Jesus.

Does it ever feel like you're a marketing professional just speaking into the void? Well, with LinkedIn ads, you can know you're reaching the right decision makers. You can even target buyers by job title, industry, company, seniority, skills...

And so I think another thing that Jesus offers is that, like a 50%.

physical representation of like, this is how I'm supposed to be walking as a daughter of Christ. This is how I'm supposed to be walking as a son of Christ, as a son of God, you know? And so modeling Jesus's character and learning from him that way, love and compassion. One thing that Jesus has always done such an incredible job at

representing and teaching us as followers of Christ is love and compassion, like true love and compassion. We should strive to love others, even those who are difficult, and show compassion for those in need. Jesus also showed us humility. Avoid pride and arrogance and instead be humble and serve others. Jesus also is a role model in showing us physically how to have forgiveness for

Just as Jesus forgave, seek to forgive others and let go of grudges. And he also represented and showed us kindness. Practice kindness and generosity in your interactions with others. We are supposed to act like Jesus. Serve others. Find opportunities to serve and help others, mirroring Jesus's

Jesus also did a really beautiful job at showing us how we're supposed to be sharing the gospel, to share your faith and the good news of Jesus with others, inviting them to know him as well. And then that leads us into seeking the Holy Spirit, which also

plays very hand in hand with the other two parts of the Trinity. Ask the Holy Spirit to empower you to live a life that reflects Jesus. So you see how those two, all three, play a role and they all work together, but the Holy Spirit and Jesus, where he showed us how, and then he left us his spirit

who then guides us and empowers us to live a life that reflects Jesus. 'Cause we can know how to live like Jesus, but it's also like, how do I become that? How do I become empowered to do that? And that's through the Holy Spirit that lives inside of us, that guides us. That we also have to be open to change. So allowing the Holy Spirit to work in your life, transforming you into a more Christ-like person. So now that leads us into talking about what the Holy Spirit

Okay, so we have father,

We have the Son, and now we have the Holy Spirit. And I think Jesus and the Holy Spirit also work so hand in hand. I think I didn't realize how much of a relationship I actually had with the Holy Spirit, but I like thought it was just Jesus, but it was literally the Holy Spirit. And so the Holy Spirit is like, I don't want to say the coolest part because every part of God, all of God, all three persons are so cool and so necessary for our walk. But the Holy Spirit is great.

crazy. So the Holy Spirit is the very thing that brings us peace and comfort. Like the Holy Spirit is like a blanket. When you know the Holy Spirit is in the room, the Holy Spirit is also the very thing that dwells inside of us. It rests in our hearts. It's

The thing that when the Holy Spirit comes, miracles happen. Miracles happen. And again, the Trinity is all working together. It's not just one or the other or the next. Like the Holy Spirit brings healing. The Holy Spirit brings wisdom. The Holy Spirit brings creativity. Also, the Holy Spirit is so fun to be creative with. Like I feel like whenever I need healing,

Yeah, just like creative ideas or anything. I go to God and I go to the Holy Spirit and I'm like, I need inspiration right now. I need you to breathe. God, breathe your Holy Spirit because I need your creativity right now. And the Holy Spirit also... I love the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit also challenges us. Have you ever been in a situation where you feel like in your gut or honestly physically on you? Like there are stories I've heard where people have been like, no, I physically felt pushed by the Holy Spirit to like do this thing. But the Holy Spirit challenges us to like do things in certain situations or scenarios, whether that's being bold for the gospel and speaking truth. Holy Spirit like challenged you in that moment. If it was about just being bold,

being brave in a moment and like standing up and saying, okay, I got to do this thing or following your dreams, following the very things that God had planted on your heart and has put inside of you to pursue in your life. Holy Spirit kind of holds us accountable and is like, you going to do it or what? So yeah, it's, or like sharing a word with someone, like the Holy Spirit is the very thing that comes and

can give you like a word of knowledge or a vision to share with somebody you know and in that moment you like feel this burden to like share something with a stranger and you're like oh my gosh I'm nervous to do this that's the Holy Spirit so yeah the Holy Spirit is also so so so cool because I feel like that is the very thing that also helps us encourage one another in the church is using the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit that then comes from that and yeah if it was

for the holy spirit y'all we would be speaking out of our flesh like that's it i don't know we'd probably only be speaking out of our flesh like it's actually only because of the holy spirit that i can speak anything of what i feel the lord wants me to speak and if it wasn't for the holy spirit kind of being that translator and putting downloads in my mind or in my heart or even in my sleep like when i get dreams like that's all god breathing the holy spirit so yeah the holy spirit is

It's so cool. And it's living inside of us. Like that is how God rests in us. The Holy Spirit is God's active presence in the world, guiding, empowering, and transforming believers, ultimately leading them to a deeper relationship with God and Christ.

So I also believe that the Holy Spirit is the very person who helps deepen our relationship with God and Jesus. Without the Spirit of God, I don't know how deep we could really go with God. And the Holy Spirit also is the one that reveals, you know, when we ask Father, examine my heart. If there's any sin in my heart, if there's any evil, reveal that to me. I believe that because of the love of God,

That is the very thing that leads us to repentance. But also, I believe that's in assistance to the Holy Spirit. Like I always call on to the Holy Spirit to help reveal things to me. The Holy Spirit is like, yeah, my communicator of how do I hear from God right now? You know, and it's typically always just through the Holy Spirit. Like, God, OK, I need to know what to repent for because I'm feeling heaviness and I feel like there's some gunk in my heart right now. And the Holy Spirit will reveal those things to me.

So I think that's the part of the Holy Spirit that brings conviction and then transformation. So without the Holy Spirit, we wouldn't really have a whole lot of that actually at all. The Holy Spirit convicts individuals of sin and righteousness, leading them to repentance and spiritual transformation, helping them to grow in holiness and become more like Christ.

But then there's another part of the Holy Spirit that's so kind and sweet. And the Holy Spirit is also just my counselor. Like, I just feel so much love from the Holy Spirit, which makes sense because every person of God also represents love. But the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live a life pleasing to God, offering guidance and wisdom to navigate life's challenges and make sound decisions. So literally, the Holy Spirit is like our therapist, is our counselor, right?

"The Holy Spirit intercedes for believers praying on their behalf, especially in times of need, ensuring that their prayers are heard and answered." So the Holy Spirit, even when I'm in prayer too, will show me what I need to be praying for specifically. And this can come to you in so many different ways. This could come to you in a moment where you just feel a random burden for someone to be praying for them.

This could come in visions or dreams, which then leads to the spiritual gifts. The Holy Spirit bestows spiritual gifts upon believers to equip them for service and ministry, enabling them to build up the church and share the gospel. The Holy Spirit also

Also plays a role in unity and fellowship. The Holy Spirit unites believers in Christ, fostering a sense of community and fellowship within the church. That's why sometimes y'all, I'm just gonna say this, in certain churches, like if you're not feeling like there's a whole lot of unity and fellowship, there's not a whole lot of like fellowship

fostering a sense of community and fellowship within the church, it's probably just not a whole lot of Holy Spirit in that church, you know? And I think that that shows like just how important all three persons are in the Trinity, in Christianity. Like you can't just have one or you can't just have two. Like it is fully complete when we are in relation and fully acknowledging all three parts of the Trinity. And I think a lot of times relationships, ministries, churches, even people

a person's individual faith can fall if it doesn't have all three parts, especially the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the very person that brings unity and counsel and encourages fellowship. It's the very part of God

that brings us together. I think the coolest thing that can happen also, like just in community is when we're all hearing and seeing and feeling the same thing from God, like there's nothing that will bring more unity to, you know, a group of people in the body of Christ than all hearing and feeling the same thing. You're like, oh my gosh, like,

It's the coolest, coolest thing. But that's only possible with the Spirit, with the Holy Spirit. I think that when it comes to even having successful relationships, the Holy Spirit is the one that can reveal those truths and those words of knowledge and wisdom and counsel on how to approach relationships.

or certain relationships or how to show up for someone. I can't tell you how many times I have had to go to the Holy Spirit and say, I don't know how to handle this situation. Tell me what this person needs because I don't know how to show up for them right now. And I want to show up for them in a way that honors you, God, and also in a way that is receptive to them where they can receive it and they can feel heard, seen, and loved, not only from me, but especially by you, God. Like use me as a vessel, Holy Spirit. I need you to show me that.

And if it wasn't for the Holy Spirit, I probably would have botched that situation. You know, so I think the Holy Spirit y'all is the very thing that keeps unity and fellowship in relationships. And it just shows us how to handle situations, not even with within the church, but also

with people who are in the world. I think the Holy Spirit is the one that gives me grace and patience and compassion for people who may not understand where I come from. Or if I get cut off in traffic, it's very easy to then get super frustrated and maybe cuss out that person and get angry and resentful. But it's the Holy Spirit that comes and gives me that wisdom of bringing me back to reality and kind of bringing me back down to earth and being like, hey, so

This is how you're going to react. You're not going to react this way. You're going to, you're going to react to this way. And that's just the ultimate wisdom. Like the Holy Spirit has always for me brought me the ultimate wisdom. And so if you are struggling with, yeah, just needing any kind of wisdom in decision-making or how to handle a situation or a relationship, it's always the Holy Spirit that I go to where I'm like, Holy Spirit revealed to me right now. I need you to speak.

I need to hear you. Another thing that the Holy Spirit offers is comfort and hope. The Holy Spirit provides comfort and hope in times of difficulty, reminding believers of God's love and presence. And the Holy Spirit also is the very thing that produces the fruit of the Spirit in believers' lives, including love, joy, peace, joy.

patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. So if there are moments where you feel you are lacking those fruits, any of those fruits, all those fruits, some of them, whatever, it's the Holy Spirit.

that produces those fruits. So you need more of the Spirit and you need to be in connection with the Spirit more. And honestly, I think that that's why a lot of times, like if there are people in the church where you're like, wow, I don't see the fruit at all. The Holy Spirit is just not in the room with that person. Either they haven't actively acknowledged that part of the Trinity or they don't know that it exists. I think that the Holy Spirit

can be a little touchy in some denominations because I believe that there are some that just don't really embrace that part of the Trinity a lot. Maybe they also just don't know how accessible the Spirit is that way and that the Spirit is the one that provides all those things. Anyway, that was my best

explanation of the Holy Spirit, but I think that the best thing we can do is just accept that we probably won't be able to fully wrap our minds around how the Trinity is. 'Cause that's really just trying to understand how God is. How does God exist? How is God, God? Like how? And I just think that part is something we will never fully understand. But I think what's really good for us to know as Christians

especially if you're a new Christian, is understanding what each part of the Trinity and what their specific role is in our walk with the Lord. So I hope that that brought some more clarity to some of y'all who've been listening. And if you already knew all this, God bless you. And I will say that there is grace. Like I also just want to preface right now that there is grace if it takes time.

And maybe it's easier for you to connect with one person in the Trinity versus the other. And maybe it'll take you a little bit more time to really see the Father as the Father or to see, you know, Jesus as the best friend or, you know, to see the Holy Spirit as that ultimate like counselor and the thing that brings wisdom and peace and the fruit of the Spirit. Like I think giving yourself grace as you take the necessary time that you need to have

those relationships with all three. But I do really encourage y'all, if you haven't already, to just invest in that, you know, and be like, okay, God, I want to know all three persons like so well. I want to be best friends with all three. And I believe that he will walk you through that.

Yeah, I love you guys. And this episode was really cool. It was cool for me. I really enjoyed talking about all of this and I love y'all. I'm so proud of you. And I hope that you have such a great weekend and a great rest of your week until I see you guys next week.

Hey guys, can we do something cool today? Though, can we show somebody how cool Jesus is? Can we walk like him? Can we talk more like him? Be more like him? Serve like Jesus served. That not even the son came to be served, but he came to serve others. And so I just encourage us to serve one another, love one another, just as Jesus shows us how. I love you guys and I will see you next week.
