Okay, everybody, we are here live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's a little bit of a miracle I was able to make it. It's storming outside. I spoke. I was literally rose from where Donald Trump entered. The whole thing was crazy. But we're here live. And did you guys, were you in the arena when Donald Trump entered?

No, you know what I'm talking about? So we were... You guys might have missed it. We were back here watching. We're back here. So for folks at home, we're in a slightly... There's all these different configurations. Yeah, these different configurations. So where we are is just adjacent to where Donald Trump walked in. But my brother was there. He called me afterwards. You felt the building shake. I actually thought that there was like a subway going on underneath or something because the ground started shaking.

And then Tyler was like, no, there's no subway here. That's just. Yeah. Yeah. So let me tell you, it wasn't planned. And so I was backstage trying to prepare for my speech, which is very hard for me because I don't like doing teleprompters. Blake, you were very helpful with the speech. Thank you. And you worked through the July 4th weekend and we got some good turning point action stuff in there. But I hate reading teleprompter.

But it's kind of the way it has to be. It's made for TV, you know. And so I was like, I don't want to over-prepare. I don't want to under-prepare. I think, you know, we hit it just right. But all of a sudden they're like, you can't be here. We have to sweep this whole area. I mean, Secret Service is probably now like going 12 out of 10 protection. Would you say that's fair, Jack? It's a little bit of an over-correction. This morning, by the way, it was even worse.

This morning, they were like, if you had, you know, a scratch on your badge, they were like, redo it, go around. I mean, after everything that happened this weekend, I think Secret Service knows one screw up, one mistake during this week. And by the way, they know he's going to be their president in just a couple of months here, too. Yeah. So anyway, it was.

Really hard to see things. You guys probably all saw it. It was one of the most powerful convention moments. I got the whole thing, like literally I was like 10 feet away where President Trump enters with the bandage. You didn't film it, did you? No, I didn't. I filmed the whole thing. You filmed backstage? No, I filmed it like literally from like behind the seat. Okay, so you're like right there. Yeah, I just got caught because I was literally the speaker right before he entered. It was me and then like some everyday American. You got to get that. Oh, yeah. We already posted that on TikTok. Okay, good.

And so of their like president walks in and Lee Greenwood's talking, they just cut Lee Greenwood off. Did you see that? They cut him off. And they just like you said, President Trump's coming in. And the place was, I mean, beyond electric. I mean, I was tearing up. I mean, when you see that bandage, you're like you're two inches from that man being in a morgue.

And I mean, it's just like it comes to life. And next time is Byron Donalds Tucker. J.D. Vance is the VP, which we're going to celebrate. And you hear about that, that J.D. is actually going to be the VP. We've had a we've had a we've had a long day. So, yeah, I got caught caught in the the the news cycle. We should we should actually tell people who have only been watching this some of the news that broke today. And so we have the news during the RNC speeches.

It came out that Elon Musk is going to be donating an estimated $45 million. All right. So that's the question. Here's the question. Does November count?

Does November sound like a month? We're going to make it count. It's prorated. Yeah, it's a full month. It's a full calendar month. Every calendar month has a day since his announcement. You know how they push recurring donations now and it's $45 a month? Ethan was like, I'll do that. But then, you know, I don't know, maybe his finger slipped. No, he's doing it intentionally because he's the 45th president. He's big into numerology. It's like when you're like a subscription for the... That's what he should be doing.

Netflix comes out. It comes out on the first day. More important, if the race is tight in October, which it very well might be because President of Politics tightened, Elon could be like, I'm doing 250. Like, I mean, at this point, just so you understand, I was just kind of flipping through the day when it was, you know, Elon was coming out. In one day, his net worth went up $6.5 billion on Tesla's earnings report. One day. Just on the day of Friday. This is a drop in the bucket. I mean, it's not, you won't even notice it, right?

Right. And this is really important, everybody, because how long, Blake, have we been complaining? Where are the elites, the elites of this top down revolution? It really is what's totally different about this race is in 2016, there were a few people who supported Trump.

Very few of them did it openly. Peter Thiel did speak at the RNC, but he was like on an island in Silicon Valley. And then for the four years that followed, very few elites would really just step up and say, I like what Trump says. I like what Trump wants to do for the country. But in the last really just not even four years, it's like the last year and a half, you've seen this seismic shift where way more people in Silicon Valley are coming out and saying publicly, I support Trump.

You and I both have sometimes had conversations with people in that world, and they'll say in private spheres, too. People will just say, oh, yeah, I'm voting Trump this year. Totally different. And now we're seeing that money line up to back him. Yeah, and Elon was supporting Trump behind the scenes. He's kind of getting there. But something, Jack, I want your opinion on this. Something set off in Elon's mind as soon as he saw Donald Trump get shot.

It was like complete no rules. I do know a little bit about this, and I'll just say in the same vein, I've heard from talking to people in that world. I've only spoken to Elon ever once, and it was in a public setting. I've never met him. I've never spent time with him. But I've been told that assassination plots, kidnapping for his many children, security is something that he just takes paramount. This was like –

For example, the whole thing with his private jet. I'll give you that example. When he banned the tracking and doxing his private jet, people thought that he was being flippant or that he was being... acting like a diva or something. People were saying, no, no, no. He was actually concerned for the safety, not just of himself, but of everyone he dealt with that could potentially be put at threat by that. And so I always knew that that was something that he thought about a lot. And I...

I'll put it this way. I was surprised but not shocked when Elon pointed out that in the wake of that,

I think he said something in the last six months that he had had two attempts on his life that his security actually seemed personal. And again, Elon, to his great credit, is now forking money over. All right, everybody, the RNC has concluded for the day. As always, you can email us at freedomofcharliekirk.com. We're just going to be hanging out here. And also remember, I'm going to become a member. It's members.charliekirk.com. You guys get our Never Surrender shirt of that iconic picture. Guys, I just have to press pause here. What day of the week is it?

Good time. I have no idea. This last two weeks, like I have every blend. That's my point. Guys, 48 hours ago, Donald Trump was exiting a hospital. That was like two months ago.

I want you to think it's everything we've lived through since Saturday. That was Saturday afternoon. I remember. Was I the first person to text you about that? I was pretty quick on the draw because I have a funny story about this. But it was Saturday. It was Shabbat. I broke Shabbat halfway through the morning because someone contacted Erica saying, do you want JDB vice president? And so I said, do I really need to break Shabbat? They said, we need you to turn your phone on.

And so that's a big deal for me to break Shabbat. Right. Yes. And so I sent some input.

All right. And then, and so then anyway, I had my phone open for the rest of the day and Erica, I kid you not, was like, she said, I think God wants you to have your phone on today. I was like, she really said that. I said that. I had the text. Cause I, so I get, I got the call and the first thing I started doing was looking for Erica's number. Cause I didn't know that. I had that. So I had, I don't like, well, and I'm like, why don't we call Charlie? He picked up and I didn't think he was going to pick up. And then it was like two seconds. It was like, and he was like, try to do it on your nose. And I'm like,

So for people who don't know that Charlie is usually completely incommunicado, completely dark on Saturdays.

And it just so happens because there was this other thing going on that you happen to be on your phone on this Saturday when you're never on your phone on Saturdays. And so I go to the gym. All of a sudden, I see this. And you know what's amazing? Two-year-olds have amazing instincts. Yes. I had my two-year-old. All of a sudden, she was like clinging on to me. And like she could feel the energy in the room. As soon as I was like, something's wrong, she was like, you know that sensation with a two-year-old? And she was like, daddy's not –

you know, necessarily confident what's happening. I was literally had to like claw her off and give her to Erica as I kept walking. I kept walking across the gym closer and closer. I was like, holy crow, he shot. Yeah. And I mean, at that moment, I felt as if I was watching Kennedy, Malcolm X, MLK, because understand like Trump was defiant and everything. He's still wound that he didn't realize. Right. Yeah. So adrenaline. Right. OK, so, yeah, we talked about this.

about this by the way I'm you know I'm not gonna like pat ourselves on the back but I know there were a lot of stories that came out and a lot of fog of war in the midst of that so I think we were what

We came to the live stream within, what, 45 minutes of us all getting the news. And by the way, shout out to all the folks at the Turning Point, at the Turning Point, at the Charlie Kirk show, and the TNT, unbelievable, that put that together. You guys get free in and out within minutes. You know, came in on a Saturday like that. Not a single person complained. Everybody knew what we had to do. And...

I really think that we did a good job of keeping things grounded, but also understanding of the potential for future threats. Thank God it didn't happen. But as we've learned more and more, a lot of the things that we brought up seem to have borne out. So anyway, that was Saturday. I think it was 6, 16 p.m. or so that it happened. Are you guys, like, when you go to sleep, think about this, like, relentlessly? I like weird that now the last time. Tyler, are you with me?

That when I'm like closing my eyes, I think about Donald Trump's brains getting blown out. Non-stop. Like I know it sounds really graphic. I thought about that before that though because I was really worried because – No, I was – I've been super worried about this. No, it's been – because we've talked about many times. We've talked about it openly. This is the only thing that they've got. So for me, it's interesting because actually – so when I first got the call, I was in a – so I was out. We're at the swim club and not far from where we live, but it's sort of like a low cell.

you know low signal area which i kind of like because you're you did and you can just have fun and you don't you don't feel as obligated to be on your phone you're like oh there's no connection so i'm just gonna go around we're playing pickleball actually we're playing pickleball and um you know i get the call and point people weren't sure if he was shot in the ear or shot in the neck and for a second i could feel that emotion just sliding up that

everything about is the ground about to fall out completely. And then but I'll just say that it's you just kind of do that sort of I know it's cliche, but you do that military thing where it's like, OK, you just put that on the shelf and you just get to work. And so you have to get to work. So then today, history took Sunday off, I think. So I did pause today. The cases were dropped against Donald Trump out of out of the blue. I don't think anyone expected that. He reenters a convention with literally like missing part of his ear.

I mean, Elon Musk pledges that he's going to give $250 million-ish, $250 million-ish. A quarter of a billion dollars. A quarter of a billion dollars, one of the largest political donations ever.

And I'm actually I'm missing. There's other news that I'm missing. There was the vice president thing. The vice president was chosen. And we're not talking about how we didn't know who it was going to be. We're not sure Trump knew who it was going to be. We were talking about this. We're not trying to tell these stories now that it's done. Yes, we're not talking about. Do it. Do it. You should try to tell the stories. Do it. I can tell you this. Within.

15 minutes before Donald Trump's truth social post, J.D. Vance did not know he was going to be the VP. Suspicion, not a single senior staff to their credit leaked. And they were like, hey, DJT is going to call you. That's all they said. By the way, he was calling Rubio and Burgum too. And J.D. is like, well, I think I have good vibes. And then New York Times reporters were texting me saying, hey, Nike, Haley and Youngkin all of a sudden being considered like crazy stuff. And

I have big disagreements with Senator Lindsey Graham. He was the one that was on the plane yesterday with Donald Trump, heavily lobbying against J.D. Vance. Yes. And the announcement would have happened before then if it wasn't for that, number one. But there was this very interest. I'm not going to name all the names because some of these people are friends and I have to work with them for the next 10 years until.

give you the general mold. If you were Team JD, you were under the age of 50, you were very interested in the ideological part of politics, and you also were sick of endless and foreign wars, neoconservatism, neoliberalism, and/or you don't necessarily have a political background. You come from business, finance, and just the way things are operating don't make sense. If you were on the team of the others,

There was this conglomeration of people that were a little bit older, people that were part of the kind of permanent Washington, and they just floated from one non-JD choice to the other. Is that a fair summary, Blake, would you say? Yeah, definitely saw that the business world really liked JD. They liked the energy that he brings to the tech world. The tech world loves him.

Yeah, I guess I should say that a lot of the classical business world that you think of like pro-business. Military, industrial world. Like the Chamber of Commerce. Yeah, exactly. Chamber of Commerce guys, no. You know what's really interesting about that is the JD now Elon fusion intersection. Oh, yeah. I'm not at liberty to tell that story. Well, it's just that's the story that will be told. I think that will go in part of the –

That'll be a massive chapter, I think, in the W, right? So that's going to be really interesting. And so... I'll put it this way, though. I think from the outside that people looking at the JD and the Elon thing kind of happening in conjunction... And yet you can't say that the assassination attempt...

played no role but it just kind of changed the pallor of everything i mean imagine imagine if trump died what would this this week tyler the only the only and i i actually know what i would have tweeted and i after condolences all the you know i would be like tragic like for the political tweet it would have been it's nomination and a discussion same here it's the only right jack it's the only way

You realize it would have been like freaking World War IV here. Right now, this would be burning. No, I'm not kidding you. This high school gym that we're in would be on fire right now. And they would be made it to whatever the next...

No, today would have been literally civil war in that room. It would have been like literally pitchforks. You would have had people claiming Trump, like they knew Trump's VP choice. This is correct. So then Burgum would have said, I got the nod, but it wasn't official. It would be as close to Game of Thrones. I was the successor, but he didn't name me. Or Commodus is actually interesting. Yes. I was just going to say that. It's the whole market. Yeah. Trump told me.

Actually, because it was going to be on Saturday. People thought. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Trump told me. And there's like a Trump told me. And like Natalie Harp actually had the draft. Oh, my God. Yeah. So really quick, everybody. I want to show cut 75 here. We are doing a member drive this week at the RNC. When you become a member, you can listen to all of our episodes. Advertiser free. You also get a free copy of that shirt with the iconic image. Never surrender. It's members. Charlie Kirk.

That's members.charliekirk.com. I'm not being rude, guys, too. I'm checking your emails as you email them, freedom at charliekirk.com. And so let's now talk about what we saw at the actual convention. I thought it was beautifully scripted. I thought it was well-written. Amber Rose backstage.

Has a very mixed history. You guys going to be TikToking together soon? I don't think so. By the way, she said she was a big fan. And that's, she has, you know, a very colorful past. We all believe in new eras and new day. I thought it was terrific. I don't know if you guys caught it. I thought it was a 10 out of 10 speech. We could see it. We couldn't hear it. She has a tattoo on her forehead.

I don't know what to make of that. It's against the Greer pledge, right? She's like a walking violating. There are several violations, right? However, I would say born by all of them. What she said, I was on the left and I believe the lies of Donald Trump. Then I did my own research as a MAGA supporter. I said, you're a racist now. And it nearly destroyed my family. Powerful the way she delivered it.

And I thought it was perfect. There's a lot of that vibe going around. If you follow that viral post yesterday, there was that viral post. Oh, that post was unbelievable. There's been so many posts. Can you pull that up, Jack? I want you to read it without the swear words. That have been... Yeah, I think I will. That it's just been, lack of a better term, that's the vibe right now. Is that there are a lot of people saying, you know what? Why did I believe the media? And why didn't I just look into it for myself? An interesting take I've heard from several people is if you're...

Certainly this is not all of them, but a lot of women, you know, middle-aged women who found Trump really off-putting, they actually have really liked his response to like the assassination attempt. How could you not like it? It's one of the most magnanimous. Holding firm under fire is such an appealing characteristic in any potential leader. Well, I mean, just so we're clear, I mean, he simultaneously in one moment, one five-second interval, like increased his numbers with men. And I hate to be like a little bit,

like tribalistic but if you're an american man after you saw that you vote for joe biden you have to turn in your man card i'm sorry like you're not a man anymore i'm sorry like you're something else you're not a man um right tyler am i wrong by saying that it's really simple we just talked we talked about this earlier this is now trump vance versus kamala because there is no joe biden this isn't trump versus biden yeah this is trump vance versus and it's not even it's calm so you're you're not

I love that. If you're not voting for Trump because you're voting for Kamala. Again, if you're like anyone who has testosterone in your body and you see a human being get shot, literally shot, not just shot at, shot, okay? Your ear gets nearly blown off and, you know, and he comes up there and he's just like defiantly pushing back his Secret Service agents to fight. I just, it's hard to even capture that energy. So I had Nick Adams on the show today on YouTube.

on Univet. Mr. Alphamale. Alphamale. By the way, fastest guest approval I've ever done. So, producer Fah sends over, hey Jack, do you want this guy? Yes. Yes, we want him on. Jack, he's the greatest Alphamale that's ever. The greatest Alphamale understands courage under pressure. And so he put him on and I said, he said, Jack to an Alphamale,

It's instinctual. And I said, you know something? You're actually right about that. For Donald Trump, that response was instinctual. That was obviously not something that he had thought about. He had no clue that that was coming. He had no clue whether or not he was shot or injured in other areas. He talked about the Secret Service tackling him. So he was in immense pain, potentially, at that point. And we are...

that you got that way. There's a line in Sun Tzu where Sun Tzu said, bring a man to the brink of death. That is the moment when you truly meet that man. And think about, there was always this sort of lie that would be told about Trump. A Civil War movie. There's a lot of fantasies where people would imagine Donald Trump begging for his life. This is the end of the Civil War movie. They're sick and perverted left-wing porn. It's literally the end of the Civil War movie right now. The president, who is depicted as Donald Trump throughout the film, doesn't

crying on the at the bottom of the resolute desk as you know the team comes in and like begging them not to kill him that's their view of trump yeah they all like they had this fantasy of trump as this fake this bird who's just exploiting everyone and he really did blow it up it's not as simple as donald trump survived the situation it's that donald trump was put through a real life test of character i totally agree that in 10 seconds almost no one ever i mean

This was Maggie Haberman's whole book, by the way. Con Man, The Showman. Again, I watched MSNBC's great Steve Bannon, who's still in federal prison. Hey, Joe Biden, you want to unite the country? Give a pardon right now to Steve Bannon and get him out of prison.

You go up in the polls. But I'm not kidding. How are we going to have unity? If Joe Biden issued a commutation for Steve Bannon right now, and Peter Navarro is getting out of prison, I think, tomorrow and coming straight here. But he's not going to be. Wednesday. By the way, again, if Joe Biden wants to score political points, why doesn't he fire the Secret Service director? I mean, just fire one bureaucrat. Just fire a single one. Which, by the way, that was one of Trump's best lines. And I think...

actually direct hits on him. And Trump didn't hit Biden really hard during the debate, but one of his best hits on him was you haven't fired at, you didn't fire anyone after zero, zero. And that, that was just something that it became instantly relatable. I think to kind of everyone in the country, especially this, this business community that we're talking about that, how do you not fire anyone after a massive failure? I totally agree. And so the,

I'll just kind of go back to I want to complete the thought. If you are a man, you vote for Joe Biden. You're something else. You're not a man. I'm sorry. I can now confidently say that. Now, if you vote for RFK, OK, like you shouldn't. But at least there's something there. Well, if you want to talk RFK. Well, there's RFK news today, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. RFK might endorse Trump. And like that would be I'm telling you, it could happen. Wait, Charlie, does that does that mean Tyler ends up being right?

I'm already right. I think we need him in the race. Yes. From a tactical standpoint. So let me just, but Donald Trump also simultaneously boosted

Boosted his numbers with women because women are so sick of the hyper-feminization of American men. Okay, read the tweet without the swear words. Yeah, I will. This is incredible. And become a member. Members.CharlieKirk.com. This is from even the name, Stephanie Tyler. Have you looked at her Twitter post, by the way? It's all of her wearing this weird lingerie and naked pictures. Yeah, we're not going to do that. It's very weird. Graduated in 2012. So this is her post a few days after.

And 50 million views at this point graduated in 2012 with a degree in women's studies. Pride in 2016 when Trump got elected. Lost touch with the Dems somewhere around me to discover entrepreneurship. Updated my voter registration in 2018, but didn't tell anyone. Told myself I was a single issue voting centrist.

The last six to 12 months, I believed I was going to abstain from voting in the upcoming election because the options were equally terrible. But watching Trump survive an assassination attempt and act like a total effing savage just shifted me from some strange patriotic gear to

Into, excuse me, just shifted me into some strange patriotic gear that my fancy feminism, white men, bad infected brain never showed me. Like the dude took a bullet and stood up with blood dripping down his face and rallied at an effing crowd while fist pumping, yelling, fight.

Sorry, but I'm voting for that. And saying it out loud feels so freeing. 2012 Stephanie would be upset, but that's okay because 2012 Stephanie didn't know crap. That right there, honestly, is nature is undefeated. I was about to say, like, there's a lot. She makes a comment, I think, like right under it. She says, I also minored in biology. So she kind of is referencing what you're saying right now. It's literally nature is undefeated. It's literally nature. Did you see the sticker meal post? What?

The what? So Sticker Mule, it's a big company. You go online, you buy like random stickers online. Yeah, I've seen it. So Sticker Mule posted this today. You ready for it? I'm ready. Donald Trump was shot. I don't care what your political views are, but hate for Trump and supporters has gone way too far.

People are terrified to admit they support Trump. Wow. I've been scared myself. Americans shouldn't live in fear. I support Trump. Many a stick or mule also do. Many a stick or mule also support Biden. The political hate needs to stop. Today, a bull almost killed Donald Trump. He's got five kids, one still a teenager. No one should have to die and sacrifice the happiness of their family to run for office. If Donald Trump can risk that, the rest of us can do, at least do, is vocalize our support and end the helpless hate.

The more people realize that kindhearted, compassionate people support Trump, the sooner the hate will end. I'm speaking up today and I hope more will do so in the future to stop this insane political hate. Awesome people all over the world love Trump. Don't limit your friendships and diminish your happiness by indulging in political hate. Vocalize your support. Stop the hate.

So today was also a foreshadow into what we're going to see out of Biden. You're going to see Biden unhinged. The Democrat Party is abandoning him. They're already hedging their ballots down ballot. We called this last week in the chat and publicly. Blake was in the specifics. I was in the abstract. Is that fair? I think so. I brought up the abstract. Blake was – I said I think they're going to go crazy and it's going to be based Biden. Today, Joe Biden, by executive order –

said that we're pausing all rents increases by 5%. Is this constitutional, by the way? I think his plan, it actually is a plan that Congress would have to pass. Did he do an executive order? I think he just signed an executive order. I'll have to double check it. We've all been busy today. Through executive order, no. Yeah, yeah. So we've been talking about Biden has some sort of, he has weird-based energy because the media are trying to get rid of him and the Democrat elites are trying to get rid of him. So he's doing these rallies where he's attacking the Democrat Party elite.

We're, by the way, like they're they're like very much trying to like ape the Trump rallies, but they're sort of faking the size of it because every time you find a video that's actually from the crowd, as opposed to the mainstream media that shows the crowd size, it's kind of the opposite. It's always small. It's like the opposite of the Trump rallies. Yeah. Yes. What could Biden do? And our thought was.

as we discussed, he has to go full populist, say, I'm running against the elites who are trying to take that nomination from me. He's going to be Dementia Bernie Sanders. Yeah, Dementia Bernie Sanders. By the way, that's why Bernie and AOC are his most fierce supporters right now. And sorry to interrupt you, but Bernie and AOC are the ones giving him advice to do this. Yes, exactly. And so he said, I think...

Whether it was an EO or not, what he wants to do is basically you can never raise rent more than 5% in a year, no matter – even if, for example, if our inflation rate is 8% or 10% because I'm Joe Biden –

And so he wants to do that. I bet we'll see him talk about like he was bragging with Lester Holt today about steamrolling the Supreme Court to try to forgive more student loans. So I wouldn't be surprised if we heard a promise for total student loan abolition. So he's now Bernie Biden. Yeah. Yeah. He's Bernie Biden now. Yeah. By the way, we should start calling him Bernie Biden.

By the way, anecdotally, so we were just – we had dinner a little bit earlier here at a place kind of off-site. And I was like, hey, we're in Wisconsin. We're in a swing state. And so we did the whole – it was digital tips, so I couldn't take a picture of it. But I told the waitress afterwards. I said, you know, they're saying if Trump gets elected, he's going to do no tax on tips. And her jaw dropped.

Her jaw actually dropped for a second. Wait, he can do that? And I said, he's pledging to drop that tax. He's going to fight to drop that. And she had never heard this. So she's here at the RNC. Well, he could do by executive order. He could tell the IRS to stop enforcing. He could do that. That's true. He could lack enforcement, which is why it's a fulfillable promise. Because I had a waiter say he's not going to do that. I said, wait a second. You look at Joe Biden's press release a year and a half ago. He said –

He didn't say waiters and waitresses. He said we're coming after the cash-driven industries who are tax cheats. So he's literally instructed the IRS by his own mandate of the executive branch so Trump can say, honestly, turn a blind eye to it. That's what he could say. He could just say that.

Just stop it. Just stop enforcing. Just like, I don't care. Just let me know. Just like the IRS. And by the way, it's not just this, too. And there's been discussion about also the taxation on the Venmo transfers and everything else that everyone's talking about. Wait, so Charlie, you see what's going to happen here is that you're going – there's going to be like a populism arms race.

So there's going to be a populism arms race on both sides. And so Trump, no tax on tips. Biden, no cap. I'm afraid it's going to be a Pyrrhic victory. Yeah, this could end up badly. A Pyrrhic victory, for those who don't know, is where you have such a terrible cost to yourself, it's actually not a victory. But you win the battle at a great cost to yourself. Yeah, it's like every soldier died, and you're like, I won.

So at some point, Trump's going to be promising every populist thing imaginable. They're going to be outdoing one another, right? And it's like, okay, we love populism, but it has to be within the framework of conservatism and constitutionalism. J.D. is actually good about that.

that. By the way, let's talk more about J.D. J.D.'s going to be vice president. This is actually something where J.D. comes in handy because J.D. is a guy where Trump will have this idea, which he just intuits these things, and then J.D. will then be able to come in and implement Trumpism in the way that we've seen other administrations not be able to properly do. Great segue. I want to play some tape here. This is J.D. Vance's exclusive interview with Hannity

That's why my speech wasn't aired on Fox. But let's play cut 87 if we can. J.D. Vance, God willing, the next vice president of the United States. Check out cut 87, please. You always hear about one heartbeat away from the presidency. And I'm sure Americans are watching you tonight.

Are you ready at a moment's notice to step into that role? And what do you believe most qualifies you for that? Well, Sean, the answer is yes. And I have to say, you have to have some humility about this. It's the biggest job in the world. But I served my country successfully, United States Marine Corps. I had a successful business career. And I have the vision and the agenda aligned with President Trump to make the American worker better off, to bring peace to the world, and to actually advance an agenda that's good for American citizens.

I think the experience that maybe most Americans would care about, it's not that I spent two years in the Senate, and I think I've had a very successful two years in the Senate. It's that I came from nothing, became a United States Marine, and succeeded in business. That's the experience that I think gives you a fresh perspective. You combine that with the ability to get things done, and that's what you need to do.

So, I mean, Jack, you were making an astute point. What was that? So I had the only point of today and I've been doing shows since War Room this morning that I actually went into the Pfizer forum was to watch J.D. get his nomination. He didn't speak at the nomination, but he appeared on the floor. And I think this was just maybe fake.

maybe minutes after actually receiving word. And Charlie, you were just saying before that he did not know. I've screenshotted my text history because I think it's actually going to be really important for future generations. Historical. I said at 1.23, I said, I bet you get a call in the next 20 or 30. I said, it's happening quick. Be ready for the cameras. And then at 2.16, thanks for everything, dude. Ha ha ha ha.

And 2-16, that's 12 minutes after Trump's truth post. Correct. Which means whatever call they had was not long. By the way, I was right on my timing. I saw things coming into gear, and I was like, be ready. And then, yeah, it's just...

So, anyway... Again, I'm still trying to process this. I'm processing all this because I'm like an insider-outsider. Do you think Trump has made a final decision at noon today? No. Well, yes. I think, look, here's my speculation. So there's also the RNC paperwork. Well, that was the forcing function. That was the forcing function. But I think that President Trump

First and foremost, he was obsessed with the idea of the most eyeballs on a convention where it's like The Apprentice. So he had that as an idea because every time I spoke to him about this, that was his idea. Number two, he was legitimately trying to not make a Pence mistake. Yeah. And because of that, he wanted to exhaustively hear from everybody multiple times, every argument until he could repeat them back. Okay? Yeah.

And so everybody was weighing in and calling and from different camps. And I'm just speculating here, but I think the president started to see similarity between the type of people that were advocating for J.D. and type of people that were not advocating for J.D. and.

Don't say your name. No, no, no. I'm not going to. But to your credit, someone else on the RNC brought up this point to me tonight. So we're hanging out in the lounge outside, and they came up to me on this topic, and they said, it is so good and refreshing that the president spent the time going through all that, hearing from those voices, lining them up in columns. Totally.

And so he started to hear all the chatter, and he started to say, wait a second, the people who don't like JD have waffled on me on the past, supported my opponents, got in and out, are really pro-Ukraine in a very strange, hyper-sexual way. Not just pro-Ukraine, but pro-war. Yeah, I know, but you can just fill in the gaps of who that might be. And so... Over-sexual. And again, I just... The president...

conducted the most thorough vice presidential search

I think in history. So wait, wait, Charlie, what you're saying is that Trump did the vetting himself. Well, the camp. Here's what I know. The campaign team did all of the backgrounding dossiers like the official vetting. Yes. So, you know, is there a divorce we don't know about? Is there a scandal? Right. So as soon as all those people feel, you know, went through that clear that vetting, he was given by like basically a binder on each. Here's all the negative stuff they've ever said about you.

Just so you know, right? And so then from that point forward, it was like, this is your decision.

And the campaign handled it beautifully. There was, like, no manipulation. There was no steering. They were like, this is your decision. And, again, he was hearing from a wide range of voices on this. And, again, the list that emerged and why J.D. was selected was loyalty. But I never got the people saying it's heir apparent. I think that's playing into it. I don't actually think that's correct.

I believe that President Trump enjoyed spending time with J.D. the most out of all the finalists. Really? J.D.'s an enjoyable person to be around. I think that President Trump felt warm as if this is someone who gets him, someone who is high energy, someone who is high achieving, someone that is very high IQ, that understands the MAGA base, plus it checks all the boxes of that region of the world. And I think it was as simple as, I want to hang out with him more. Again, there were other elements at play.

I've heard, I'm not going to name names, but I've heard that he made some comments about other individuals who were in the running that were hanging out with him a lot lately. Don't say any names. I know what you're saying. He wasn't, you know, as interested in all of it. And so the thing I just wanted to say about J.D. So the two things. Number one, I think the East Palestine trip.

was seminal in the way J.D. put that together because that was a very special moment for Trump. I think it was a turning point for his campaign. There was a lot of discussion of that in the press today about how important that was to his campaign. It was monumental. Because Trump before that was just J6. It was all J6. It was J6, J6, J6. He had announced already. No, J.D. had endorsed, which also plays a role. When was East Palestine? I think it was like February 2023. February of 23. But remember, he went to the McDonald's afterwards. Yeah.

But that was the first one. That was the first one of the campaign where he did any of those things and J.D. was seminal in setting it up. Now, he didn't set up early. It was early before everybody was. But understand, J.D. was only a senator for a couple months at that point and weeks, a couple weeks. Yeah. And so but then Donald Trump watches a lot of TV and

And he noticed something in J.D. that he hadn't noticed in other endorsed candidates, which is here's how it usually works. They grow close to Trump when they're in cycle. They get the endorsement. And then they kind of just do their own thing, and it kind of becomes Chamber of Commerce talking points, and there's distance. He was like, wait, J.D.'s still, like, defending me. Yeah. And...

And he was the first senator, I think, to endorse Trump. Like one of the first. And he did. He put in an op ed in The Wall Street Journal. And it wasn't just like he tweeted it out. He had a whole, you know, full summary of why he was doing it. It was and it was all based on MAGA values. It was not this warmed over Chamber of Commerce or like neocon world, you know, talking points about blah, blah, blah. No, it was really full throated. And just please tell us. I was going to say this point, too, that.

But this is more the insider baseball stuff. But JD surrounded himself with really good people. So I want to make this... Staffed really well. I'm going to tell you this right now, that most people that surround even our best people suck. And JD, on the other hand, is surrounded by incredibly loyal people, not just to JD, but to the movement in general. And I can tell you, when things have...

Gone really well for Turning Point and things like that. One of the first people to reach out has been JD and his team. They reached out and said, great job with this or awesome job. That doesn't happen anywhere else. And people listening at home need to understand this. He is an incredible person, but surrounded by incredible people. It was his 10th wedding anniversary. We had the People's Convention in Detroit. And I was like, dude, you got to go. I want you to be VP. I was public at that point. I was like, we're doing a straw poll. I think you'll do well if you show up.

He – like, this is the hilarious thing. I was like, hey, Lauren, JD's coming because I had to fly home because of a baby issue. I had, like, a three-week-old, all that great stuff. And I'm like, hey, Lauren, so he's coming. She's like, yeah, he's driving himself from Columbus. And I'm like, what? What? I'm like –

Again, I'm kind of used to like I'm charging a plane. He jumped in the minivan. I kid you not. J.D. Vance, a senator, literally on a Sunday morning, woke up at like 6 a.m., got like a big thing of coffee and drove up himself from Columbus, Ohio to Detroit, Michigan, spoke at our event, did all the media, shook all the hands, got back in his car and drove back to Columbus, Ohio. That's J.D. Vance. Three hours each way. Charlie, let me add more context like that because I was there because you weren't there because you had to leave.

And I saw him. He came by himself, walks in. This doesn't happen. I remember him being by himself. He walks in by himself. Yeah. Big hugs. Hey, so good to see you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Chat, chat, chat, chat, chat, chat. Yeah, we're just chatting, hanging out.

I had my kid. I had more people. I had more people there than J.D. Vance did. Like, my family was there. He walked in. It's not even that he drove himself up. Normally, he's like, oh, I drove myself up. Like, a staffer will drive up with him or drive up or drive him. Anybody. I mean, you're a U.S. senator, man. He just rolled his head. A staff of 15 people. Because, you know what? I had just come off stage when he went on to speak, and it actually didn't occur to me. I thought the staff was, you know, like in the wings or something because we were just in that little, like, area. No staff.

Oh my gosh. And he walks in. It doesn't even make any sense. He gives our stuff. He knows our people. He talks to her. He stopped. He is the number one most liked human being in Turning Point Events.

Like, not even close. Meaning, as far as, like, easy to work with, when I was, like, pushing for J.D., Lorne was like, please, like, make it J.D. Please make it J.D. He's a wonderful human being. Remember when we did the J.D. rally in Ohio? Yes. And, again, his team was awesome. It was crazy. It was absolutely crazy. Got together before the election.

I cannot impress upon the audience this enough. The vice president, vice presidential candidate we have right now. He's one of the greatest human beings I've ever seen in politics. The best vice presidential candidate we've ever had in my lifetime. I'm trying to think, like, maybe who is even better in, like, the last hundred years? Ever. Blake's going to say Nixon.

Teddy Roosevelt. I have my Nixon now sign over there that I picked up. You're right. You know we're a block away from where Teddy Roosevelt was shot? In the Constitution. Yeah. Blocked it. That's crazy. The thing I do want to say about J.D., though, is that I saw today was I remember people were asking me when he walked out on the –

whether or not he was going to speak in, and I believe he slated to speak on Wednesday night. And, and I remember I was looking at him and from my vantage point, you know, I wasn't nearby, but I could, you know, I could see him enough to see his face. And I was looking at, I could see, I was like, I don't think he can speak right now because you, you could see he had this look on his face with just tears in his eyes. And there's that choked up smiles and being polite. He was with the Ohio delegation. Um, but, um,

I mean, you could tell that in his head he was thinking about – it seemed to me, just reading his face, he looked like he was thinking, how did I get here? How did I get here? And he's been public about his story. He's been public about his very not easy childhood.

And all of a sudden to see that came out eight years ago. He's not somebody. It wasn't about him because it wasn't about him here at the RNC. Thankfully, we're getting rid of this old guard. The schemers and the plotters and the planners are abundant here. The cockroaches where it's all about an angle because I want to be dog catcher. Then I'm county commissioner and then I'm state rep and then I'm congressman. And then I'm chair of this and then a senator. And then one day I could become president in my own crazy drama in my own mind. J.D. Vance ran as the Senate. He was pulling it like two percent for like forever.

We endorsed him right out of the gate. He came to our office. We told the story today.

He came to our office and this is what happened. This is literally what happened. Came to our office, spent basically two days at our office. Hanging out. Hanging out. Like, tell me about how you guys do stuff. And like, literally we were telling him. Super curious. Super curious. He would ask us questions like, what would Turning Point do in this situation? Or like, what do you guys think about like, literally just normal conversation? And I was really impressed because he's like my age, right? So he's like.

He's like my age, so it's like talking to, you know, we're the same age. So we're all the same age. So it's like talking to your friend. And he left, and Charlie and I sat down, and we were talking about this, and we're like,

I think we have to endorse him. Like he's, I was like, cause we, we had just like started thinking about endorsements. The amount of enemies I created from that endorsement. I mean, right. Well, this is what happened. So this is the story. So we're like, I think we have to endorse him. So I'm like, okay, we'll put together a graph because we hadn't really started endorsing anyone at turning point action at all.

And so I told our team that was really small at the time because we hadn't grown. This was before, like, anything. We had started building a team. And I said, put together an endorsement graphic. And the team put together an endorsement graphic and tweeted it out immediately on accident. Oh, wow. So, like, on accident, not that we didn't want to endorse them. We wanted to endorse them, but we weren't, like, ready to press the button. Usually there's, like, some checking. Well, because I was going to call Josh Mandel. I was going to call the other candidates as our policy and let them know we're not endorsing you.

And all our Ohio contacts and just let everybody know. Donors. And call donors and stuff like that. I lost so many donors over that JD endorsement. It was immediate. And so Charlie calls me. He's like, I just got like 50 phone calls from donors. What is going on? Like, what is going on? I was like, of course we want to do this, but you have to let me run drafts. And I was like, Charlie, just tell them. I was like, Charlie. It was a total accident, but we should just live with it at this point. And we did. And we stuck with it. And we were like the first endorsement out of the gate. We were like.

one of the first ones they got when he was at like one or two percent and then i went while erica was seven months pregnant i can't remember that jd yes for half of a week with him in the primary because i was like jd i'm gonna have no help in the general right i want to see you become a senator more than anything else because i i literally said i was like this guy is the future of the party we were all in in the 2022 midterms we we had to be because everyone would like got so angry about it of one of the worst nights ever the 2022 midterms when it was just like

That was the only consolation prize. Yeah, that was like the big... We were like, JD's a senator. Woo! Sucks. Right? And we were like, at least we got this done. And because I saw in him what we've been lacking is like he understands the MAGA agenda. He is one of you. He's from that part of the world that has been forgotten and looked over. He broke through. You don't get enough credit though, Charlie, because like you could have got really...

We could have waited. We could have not done anything. And I just still remember sitting there, and it was one of those moments. There's like God moments. Clearly, we're here, you know, where we're at, where you were like –

we just have to endorse them. And then again, you don't get enough credit for this, but you were one of the first people to go do stuff with him. Right. And, you know, and that is, but that led these kinds of things lead to, you know, other endorsements and things like that. And it like helps build, you know, the, you live in activism. That's what we do at turning point action. It's activism. Right. So building that activist space behind a person and voices that matter. I mean, look, we're here today now, but there's with a,

an incredible, the best ever VP candidate that we possibly could have. And again, let's just be like, Blake, I want to get this direct question to you because Trump was being pressured. Again, let's talk about stereotype, stereotypical, like what people think Trump is, what Trump actually is. People think Trump is very manipulatable, that Trump will just cow to like a small collection of certain people on TV and or donors interests and

This shows that's actually not true. Donald Trump really kind of gave the finger to a lot of people by doing this. Like, a lot of people. Yeah, a ton. And the pressure went up and up and up and up the whole time. And they're all thinking, okay, we can get our hooks in him over this or that. And I think it really is a testament to his instincts, as you said. And his courage. His courage. Well, we saw that on Saturday. I want to have Blake finish. But I think he really has those...

those very powerful raw instincts and those guided him the whole way on this where he's thinking as you said what will we the what will it look like at the convention what will it look like for our ticket what does it look like for our movement and what do the people pushing him look like versus what do the people who are against him look like and i don't just mean physically but also what are they saying what have they done what has been there what has

what has been there standing in the entire movement since I've started running. And I think all of that is working in his head as he's approaching this decision. In closing here, guys, because I want to get some food. I'm sure you guys do too, right? I gave a whole speech and everything. Are you allowed to eat cheese curds? Are you still, are you allowed to eat cheese curds or anything here? You know, so it's funny. Is that another salad? No, no, no, no, no, no. What do you want? What do you want right now? Are you on something? I'm like a,

I'm a crazy diet as it is. Yeah. But as soon as I got announced as speaker of the convention, I'm like very big into like limiting things that make you feel good, like focused, like I have a good speech. Well, when you, you know, when you have a big speech that you have to like, so tonight gives you something. I'm going to have wings. What type of wings? Buffalo wings with ranch. That's like an ultimate violation of Charlie's diet. This is almost like a hometown thing for you. You should get, you should get cheese curds. How far are we? How far are we?

I am 50 minutes from where I grew up. And even less if it wasn't for all the Secret Service crap. I'm literally 35 miles from where I grew up. So this is my people. This is like Charlie's hometown almost. Anyway, my big indulgence, I've been visualizing it. Wings with ranch. They sing about the wings the whole time. The mind is amazing when you give it incentive. It's better with blue cheese, by the way. Yeah, you gotta go for it.

All right, so we'll all get some wings together. No, I'm ranch. I'm ranch. I'm all ranch. All right, I want to remind everybody. Let's put the picture one up, the members deal here. You guys get a Never Surrender shirt. We are doing a members drive right now. You can listen to all our episodes advertiser-free, members.charliekirk.com. It's a way to support this show. You've got to get that shirt. It's literally a limited edition. It's the limited edition. It's the limited edition Never Surrender shirt. I mean, that's as good as Charlie Kirk shirt. Never Surrender and Never For Sale Again.

There's one thing. Never surrogate. Guys, imagine if J.D. was on that stage with him on Saturday. Don't say that. No, no. I mean, but this is divine promise. I know, but yes. There is one thing that I would like to get across before we say that. And we've all kind of talked around it. And I'll put it to Charlie because, Charlie, you, you know, blah, blah, blah. I had the vision for Turning Point, et cetera, et cetera. But seriously, this is a moment where Trump.

Came in and Blake, as you say, this is a risk. This is a gamble. But he's he's in a moment where the odds are kind of in his favor. And as a true entrepreneur knows that you bet big when you're in a moment like that. And he's betting on the future with this because it's a generational pick. Yeah.

Totally right. I will say, though, that even if Trump was behind in the polls, J.D. makes the most sense politically. I don't think Rubio wins you that many votes. I don't necessarily mean polls. I just mean the general sense of things. The way that Fox was talking about it today drove me nuts. I was throwing stuff at the TV. A lot of sour grapes. Well, it goes back to what you talked about earlier. If you want a man to vote, J.D. is your guy.

And yeah, exactly. And so wait a second. Also, you want to win Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin. That's it. The whole race is over. Like nominate someone from that region of the world. And they literally said, well, this is a mark of a very overconfident candidate. Like, wait, hold on a second. This is actually at. And then finally, you know what? The data is screaming at us. Please put someone on the ticket under the age of 50, please. And now we have it. Totally. Like, so they have literally two JG Vance's are still younger than Joe Biden. Yeah.

Oh, that's a great tweet. That's a great tweet. No, J.D. Vance is true. Oh, that's great. It's true, yeah. J.D. Vance. Daisy, tweet that. I love that. Oh, my gosh. J.D. Vance is our.

He has lived two lifetimes. Our Obama-esque candidate. And here's the reason why. And this is what Obama put in. He is our Obama. J.D. Vance is our Obama. I don't want to get clipped. Yes. Exactly. I don't want to get clipped. No, we're getting clipped on that one. Definitely. Because we said this on Thought Card before. I said that. But J.D. Vance is doing what for us, what Obama did for them in that –

Obama campaigned to a base of voters that had never been campaigned to before and expanded their pool. I get what you're saying. Just so we are clear, and I'm going to say this publicly and privately, if we are to win the presidency and if J.D. wants to run in the future, his immediate goal needs to be in voter registration, 501c4 build-out of making the coalition permanent.

Not just Trump. This goes back to the Elon money, though, we just talked about. Yeah. No, I mean, because if we do it right, if we do it right, J.D. Vance could because he's such a strategic, smart thinker. Say you have an opportunity because the Teamsters thing, muscular class, low prop voters to do what the Dems did with Obama, where they built they all of a sudden found 15 percent of new Americans that they've held on to pretty well, honestly.

And then Trump resurrected that. Well, they've also been increasing that number of new Americans as a way to – And we need our own amalgamated bank, and we need our own – we have this couple of everything. But that's the smart that J.D. will give us.

That everybody else wouldn't have. That's being the movement. I cannot impress upon the audience enough. You have a good, smart person. That is one of the hardest combinations of things to find. Because you can have a good person who's really dumb. We know a lot of those people. And that's fine. Because smart does not equal good. And then there's a lot of evil smart people. The Republican Party has a lot of evil smart people. Mostly. Can I just comment on how many creatures are walking around this thing that...

They have tentacles and claws. I could tell a story. No, I mean, just – We have all week, and all of a sudden I'm like, I hate you. And I've been, like, really behaved. Wait, Charlie. It's your other indulgence. It's sort of like the difference between the wings and Jonah Goldberg. It's the difference between, like – Jonah Goldberg called me an anti-Semite on CNN tonight.

Unbelievable. Of all the things to call Charlie Kirk. Pro-Israel. There's plenty of things to call Charlie Kirk. I am mostly accused as being – I called Charlie Kirk half of them. I am too pro-Israel. He is literally one of like five people who have been harassed in public for being too pro-Israel. And CNN did a five-minute thing about how I'm anti-Semite. Yeah.

Yeah, yeah. Even including Jews, probably. Buffalo Wings and Jonah Goldberg are my two... If I see Jonah Goldberg, I'm going to confirm. And it's sort of like... It's sort of like compare this... I was thinking about this earlier today, and I was just like, what is so... And I don't...

I'm having a great time. It's a great convention, etc. But there's something that just felt a little bit off in the back of my head as I'm walking around. And I realize what it is. It's like, this isn't a Turning Point event. And, you know, Turning Point events, there's so... No, no, no. It's like, there's a vibe. It's vibrant. It's looking at the future. And it's like all of the things that...

you know, that people are trying to say here, but turning point just does it. It just, it just is the future as opposed to be like, we're the future. But I do have to say though, Charlie, your choice of the all seeing eye and the giant pyramid behind you on stage was just, was, was absolutely masterful. You want more text messages? This is a good one.

Sorry, because we were here just blowing you up, man. We were like, Charlie is going full Illuminati. No, no, no, no, no. This is so good. You can't do this. Bro, WTF. Is this the Illuminati that took this over? Yes! Period imagery. Might consider tweaking. Now, if this means we'll all be able to join, then I'll reconsider what I just said. But WTF. And literally, I sent a picture of Marjorie Taylor Greene coming out of the pyramid. Ah!

Ladies and gentlemen, there was a fight between the Freemasons and the Illuminati. I mean, I was like, okay, come on. So was my face literally coming out of it? No, no, no. You were like the base of the pyramid. What is Twitter saying? Is Twitter commenting on it?

Charlie, it's not great. The imagery. The speech was fine. I tried to tell people. Anyway, I thought the speech delivery was what I could control. It sounds great. And I have the receipts. I have the receipts. It's like, hey, guys, how about, I don't know, Old Glory, the red, white, and blue. The Star Spangled Banner. Anyway, I want to say, all kidding aside, I'm very touched to the convention that they had me in a primetime slot. They didn't have to do that. They

They gave me a lot of time more than most people. So that was very touching. I was on the floor. Good energy? You got the most applause out of just about anybody. So I think it was you and the governor from Virginia. Young King? Young King did great. Byron got some too. Oh, Byron. Yeah, but Byron did the slow walkout.

He does the Byron thing where he goes, you know. Oh, that was very slow. It builds the applause line. It's very... All right, you can't do that like Byron. I'm hungry. Members.CharlieKirk.com. Check it out. Check out Unhumans. Jack, your book's doing amazing. Unhumans is doing great. Raising up the charts. By the way, something that I...

For my own personal reasons, up until today, didn't actually want to make a huge deal out of. But one of the blurbs that we got on the back is actually J.D. Vance. Wow, that's a big deal. There you go. One of the things that and I, you know, I kind of knew this was in the works. And, you know, there are a few names that I was thinking about, you know, when you're getting blurbs on a book, you.

Reach out to a few folks that you know. And I was like, I don't want to use a personal relationship or something to ask for that. But some of the guys said, no, but he really speaks to this stuff. And I said, well, there's no way that he would do it because he's under consideration. We reached out. They said yes right away.

That is Illuminati stuff, though. Well, then, yeah, I had to perform this ritual with like the – there were a lot of trees. It's so cool. That's cool, Jack. God bless you guys. Very, very thankful to the RNC that is hosting us so well and having me speak for as long in the primetime slot that they did.
