Welcome to Scale It Lab. Every Wednesday, the lab comes online and we have a new episode. And they last about 27 to 30 minutes and then they last longer and you guys go somewhere else for them. But don't worry. Don't worry about getting overwhelmed. Everything that's in there, we put into a lab. We can go step by step. Lab reports are completely yours for each and every episode. We all know that there's secrets to success, but most of them are hidden behind endless conferences and books and seminars, and that's not what we want to do. ScaleLab cuts through all the noise. Whether you're trying to get to six figures or eight figures or even beyond, it's finally time to scale. Now, strap in. I'm going to give you more of a story on how we do this and how we got here. So here's the basic idea, and this is the first episode.

I sat down and I created a podcast. It was called the I Am Charles Schwartz Show. Yes, I'm very, very creative with my issues. And people would come on and I felt like a talk show host. Sure, we write number four at the time in marketing and it was great, but I was like, this isn't giving any value. All I was doing was bringing people on and going, you wrote a book? What is a book? And it's sort of me. And it was garbage and I hated it. So instead I was like, wow, I could actually sit down and have the conversations that I always have been with the people I know.

When we sit down and I'm in trouble, I call them up like, hey, I need an email marketing plan. Hey, I need to know how affiliate marketing works. I need to know the best lead magnet. I need to break it down step by step for me. Where there isn't all this fluff where I don't have to sit there and say, hey, Bob, how are you? It's great to hear it. How are the kids? We cut through all of that. There's a fire. These are the individuals who know how to get access to the fire hose and put it out. I said, well, it's by creating something like that. Something that while you're listening to it, you actually pull over and write things down.

I used to own an IT company and in that IT company, I would show people exactly what to do to scale their IT companies and help companies all over the United States scale their IT divisions.

I wanted this podcast to be the same. Something that wasn't just mock. Something that actually helped people. Something that where you're like, oh my God, that's really interesting. What did he say? Or, hey, he talks about this email that supposedly works and he closes all these deals. Can I have a copy of it? He talked about four of them. Can I have all four of them? I want to know all of them. I want to talk to the veterans that we cut through all of it and get directly to the point and then have a lab report, like a workbook that you could print out and you can go through and answer the questions step by step by step.
