Season 19 focuses on Amy's experience of being stalked and cyberstalked by Morrison, her legal battle to bring him to justice, and her advocacy for other stalking victims.
Morrison received the maximum sentence possible in Colorado: four years in jail with time served and two years of parole or probation.
The case file revealed that Morrison had Nazi memorabilia in his room and multiple zip drives labeled with women's first names followed by 'whore,' indicating multiple victims.
Morrison showed no remorse or empathy, admitted to his crimes without apology, and made disturbing statements, such as claiming jail was the second-best experience of his life.
Amy has supported legislation addressing online misconduct, including dating app safety measures, deep fakes, and remote tracking. She testified in Colorado to push for these changes.
Amy believes a national stalking database would help protect others and hold stalkers accountable across multiple jurisdictions, similar to the sex offender registry.
Amy finds the three-year statute of limitations for stalking crimes inadequate, as it prevents prior victims from pressing charges even when the stalker is known to be guilty.
Amy is preparing for Morrison's release by monitoring his activities, advocating for legislative changes, and focusing on her mental and emotional well-being to avoid living in fear.
Sharing her story has been healing for Amy, helping her let go of guilt and embarrassment, and empowering her to advocate for other victims of stalking.
Amy's goal is to find other victims of Morrison, empower them to come forward, and prevent him from harming others through advocacy and legislative changes.
