Paul believed that God had given him this ministry, and he accepted the calling and gift of it, even though it came with trials and persecution. He felt compelled to fulfill his mission despite the risks.
Eutychus fell asleep while sitting in a window during Paul's long sermon and fell three stories to his death. Paul then raised him from the dead.
Paul saw these warnings as confirmations of what God had already revealed to him, rather than deterrents. He continued to Jerusalem, understanding that he couldn't outrun God's plan.
Paul joined the vow to demonstrate that he was not opposed to Jewish traditions, hoping to soften the opinions of the locals and make them more open to hearing the truth.
Paul's dual citizenship, knowledge of Hebrew and Greek, and his background as a Pharisee allowed him to navigate the complex situation in Jerusalem, including being mistaken for an Egyptian and ultimately being saved by the Tribune.
The Pharisees and Sadducees disagreed on the resurrection of the dead. Paul used this disagreement to shift the focus away from his own situation and create tension between the two groups.
God told Paul that he would not die in Jerusalem and that he would have to share the gospel in Rome as well.
