Because I just got used to the time zone from the Philippines. Yeah. And then...
Back to LA. But I was there a week early because I was shooting for something. And even me, I was like, girl, I just got my sleeping schedule back. And now I have to readjust to LA. Like, girl. And then now you're readjusting. Back home. For a bit. For a big layover. For a bigger layover for two weeks because I'm headed back to the Philippines. But cue the motherfucking intro. Rampant to earth.
Earth to Bretman. Girl, you already know who it is. And we're back. Hi, everyone. We're back, back actually this time. Should we just get right into our segment today? Oh my God, yeah. Should I go first? Yeah. Okay.
So this is... You guys know how I'm a mixer so I kind of got confused downstairs so I just started putting everything on but looks a little nervous. Yeah because you were like listing all the ingredients and I'm like, "Did you make a plantation iced tea?" No literally because I got confused because Kat sent me a video last night to make and I was like, "Okay sure why not?"
And then I was just watching the video and the whole time I was watching, I was just like adding stuff. So that's a, what is it? A cold brew ginger lime tea. A cold brew ginger lime tea. With raspberry tea. And pineapple mango juice. Okay, let's taste her. That's pretty good. That's kind of refreshing.
It's good. It is good. It really tastes like plantation iced tea, honestly. Yes. Some weirdly, yeah, enough. Do you get like mango? I feel like the lime hits you, like the citrusy from the ginger lime. Mmm.
And then the mango is like the undertone. But it's really good. And then it tastes... And then it has like the tea aftertaste off score. It's giving like an antioxidant juice tea moment. Very antioxidant. Yes. Wait, Miss K, what is the tea of the week? I mean, the tea of the week is you guys. Have you guys ever heard of Coachella? Like...
Literally. That's the tea of the week. We will be getting into that because... In a second. Right after Miss Kat's little... Cooking. Because I know you smell that. Okay, so... What I made was an olive oil cake. An olive oil cake? Yeah. And then I topped it with a lemon icing. It's just like... It's just lemon. This looks so pretty. It's very lemony. Wow, we went with the lemon. I love the lemony-ness. Really? Because remember Princess was like, you should try making the lemon loaf from Starbucks. My gosh. It's not the same texture. It's so good. It's not pound cake, but it's… It is giving very pound-ish. Okay, that's good. I like the lemon. Mmm.
You know what was really good? I even had some. Is the tres leches you made for Ezekiel's birthday. Oh, really? I'm making it for Sunday, but I'm going to do lactose-free. Period. Anyways. I'm so excited because I feel like when we were kids, do you remember our makeshift little Easter egg hunt that Jorley them made for us once upon a time? The foil. When we were kids, we didn't have a lot of money, obviously. And our cousins wanted to throw us a Easter egg hunt. But we didn't buy those plastic eggs. And so because we didn't have those plastic eggs, our cousins just wrapped a bunch of candies on foil.
And hid it everywhere around. We only had like three actual plastic eggs. And that's where they put the cash. I remember. That's like the golden egg.
Yeah. But this year we're doing something very TikTok that we found. I think Princess found it. But the kids basically hunt for like empty Easter eggs and then they trade it in for points. And then at the end of the night, depending on how much Easter eggs they get, how much they can trade in for a specific prize that they may or may not want.
Also, we're going to go a little less on the candy this year because no one eats the candy. No one eats the candies anyways. Like, I feel like that was such a thing when we were kids. We would fight over the candies. We would count our Halloween candies. Just to have it. Just for like, just to have. But we would never eat it. But nowadays, like a lot of the kids just like love like the toys and the little trinkets that they get. So,

Was that the time when we came back from Coachella and we were both dying? And you got me sick too. Yes. Because we went to like... We were fine when we got back. And then we went to a wedding. And then the next day... I could have sworn I caught COVID. Girl, I think that was COVID. But I tested negative though. I took it like every day for three days straight. And we were all negative. I would also say last year, I remember snorting out on a tissue and it was just dirt. It was a little bit windier last year. Compress my luggage because I was not thinking. I brought three luggages. And we were supposed to only bring like a carry-on on the luggage. And I was like, that'll be fine. You know, I did it before. You were thinking because you thought that you would bring home a lot of stuff. Yeah, I was thinking ahead and then...
And then me finding out that we weren't going to fly back to Coachella. We were just going to go straight to the airport. I was like, oh, snap. So I had to bring everything in one luggage. And my luggage was already heavy.
Got to the airport and we waited for like how long? For what? For the private jet. We really only waited for like an hour. Yeah, last year I was really excited. We got there really early and we were waiting for everyone. Yeah, and this year we were late but we weren't the last ones there. So I'm like, best believe next year, girl, I will be the latest bitch there. You bitches will be waiting for me because for two years straight, I'm waiting for you.
No, literally, we just got there. And I think we were the first couple people that got there. We were, for sure. And then, but we were in a different airport this year. And, I mean, no complaints there. Like, we had such great coffee. They got us caviar. Girl, I've never had caviar on a, what is that? A bagel before? Yeah.
And girl, it was so good. It was really good. I wish I had the bagel with the cheese. Yes. Yeah, no. A bitch is lactose. It was like perfect. The caviar. I was even asking like my neighbors for like their caviar. Because I was like, can I eat that? And I was eating it with like Doritos for midnight snacks. And then we land to...
Palm Springs, we drive to go get our tickets. Like a 30-minute drive. Yeah, not tickets. Our wristbands. And honestly, this year, just from getting the wristbands, I'm like, it's going to be so much hotter this year. Just from the touchdown to Palm Springs to the wristband, I was like...
This is a lot hotter than last year already. And I'm like, oh my God, I hope this... And then Brian and you were like, oh, it's probably going to be even hotter this year. And I was like, okay. They were like, it's going to be 100 degrees tomorrow. And I was like, dang. All I brought is jackets. Leather jackets. And I'm like, I'm about to die. And then we get to our guest houses after we get our wristbands. And...
No complaints ever, girl. They just never miss. House 15 this year. House 15 this year. And we were right next to the guest compound house. Yes. Which we call the wellness house because we go there to get like
IV drips, massages, gifts, get our hair done if we don't have hair that day. It's just like kind of like everything everywhere for guests. Although I never took advantage of it, but I really should next time. The homeroom. Oh, the wellness stuff? Because you be taking advantage. Nah, not advantage. Because you know how like they have like free hair, like this and that. I know, I'm saying the free gifting. Oh, the gifting. Girl, duh.
I'm like, are you telling me I can get whatever I want from any... Like, you guys, the closet is probably as big as this room right now that we're in. And it's just full of clothes. And then every time an employee comes in, they're like, you can take whatever you want. I'm like, okay.
Don't tell me again because I will take all of it. - We did. - No, yes. And then I got back and then I went back and then they went to the gift shop and then they were like telling me like, "Did you know there's another room like behind this room that you can get?" And I was like, "What?" - And she got even more. - No, I was like being humble. I only got two pieces. - You still got a lot though. - Yes, I did. I got a lot. - But back to the house. - Yes. - I feel like as much as I love the house, it's such a luxury.

We had last year. She knows that we're so easy. She can literally cook up anything in a pot and we will eat it. So it was just such a great vibe all around. Yes. And so I'm just very happy and glad that we had such cool people. Yeah, no. Anyways, we had the welcome dinner. Yes. Which you always say is your favorite part about Coachella.
