Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad-free on Amazon Music.

No joke, I think I might have a cane sauce problem. I was raising canes the other day, getting my box combo with extra sauce on the side like usual. I have an order. When I eat my canes, it goes crinkle cut fries, chicken fingers, the Texas toast, and finish strong with the slaw. So I start eating, and before I know it, I'm scraping the bottom of my sauce, and I wasn't even done with my fries yet. This habit is escalating, and I'm 100% here for it. Dip into canes. Get extra sauce for me, please.

What's up everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne Fran giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday. Happy Wednesday everybody. I hope the middle of your week is going swell. Yes. This podcast is presented by Macy's. We are going to be talking to you about Macy's until the end of the year because Macy's has everything you need to keep you covered. They got home goods, they got clothes, they got hair products, and let me tell you,

I get it all from Macy's. I have hair products from Macy's. I got my eye on a pull-out couch from Macy's for my guest room that I've been eyeing. And so much more. Is that such a clutch addition to a guest room? The pull-out couch? Yeah, because honestly, I'm just now getting around to decorating my guest room. Because it's been used as an office. Technically like a streaming room office. But...

We got to like really, you know, decorate it up so that when people come over, they have like a nice place to sleep. To rest their heads. Yes. Well, Macy's really does have it all. And we were talking about it last week. But a reminder because it's coming to an end soon on Tuesday the 20th. Their semi-annual fine jewelry sale is ending on Tuesday the 20th. So if you're in the market for some nice stuff, the best time to shop.

For all your summer and fall occasions. Maybe you have some weddings coming up. End of the summer. Beginning of fall. You know September is a very popular time. Labor Day weekend. Those kinds of last few big summer events. So from now until like I said the 20th. August 20th. You can get 50 to 70% off.

Fine jewelry. There's plenty of fine jewelry specials happening. So you can shop these limited time deals at Macy's.com. So easy. Shop online at Macy's.com. Or if you have a Macy's near you, you can pop on in and browse, which is always fun. To go online, pop in the store, and Macy's has you covered. Happy Wednesday, everybody. I hope, like I said, that the middle of the week is going swell for you. Middle of August, middle of the week.

How are you feeling? Dog days. Yeah. It's been nice, though. It's cooling off finally in New York. It's dandy. A little compared to it being 98 degrees every single day for July. No, are you getting all excited, like thinking about the fall? We know how much you love the fall. I literally just today when I walked out because it was a little bit colder, I was like, I can't wait for the air to be, you know, crisp. The crispness. Like 60s wind, a little breeze. It was chilly this morning.

But not like sweatshirt chilly. Like I need... I want sweatshirt weather. It was 64 degrees this morning. Sweater weather. Oh, well. That wasn't out. Yeah. I was... I know what you mean though. You're like... Yeah. Yeah. Just... I'm ready for fall. I'm ready for the leaves. Yeah. If Trent was on the show, sadly he's not on today even though we're doing a Bachelor recap. Foliage. You talk about the foliage. Can't get a hold of that guy. Is he big? No, he can't. He's... It's...

Summer golf. Yeah. You know, that's what happens. They're all golfing. They're always golfing. It's almost like that's his job. It is his job. It is his job. But do you think he ever gets tired? I asked him that. He said no. I actually texted him that this past year. I remember I texted him. I was randomly thinking about it. Right. I was like, let me ask him if he ever gets tired of golfing. It's like a physical activity that every once in a while you're like, gosh, I could just really use a break.

From swinging this club around for a little bit. But I guess that's like any athlete, it's like you get tired of playing. Yeah, some of them do. Yeah.

Fatigue. That's why they need an off-season. I feel like out of all the sports, that's the one that you get least tired of. I feel like Trent doesn't even have an off-season. He's golfing all the time. I found my text. I typed it in. Because you guys text so infrequently. I said, no, I just typed it in at the top because you could find your messages. I literally searched, do you get tired of golfing in my messages? And I have a text to Trent. Trent, do you ever get tired of golfing?

And he wrote, not really, no. And I said, damn, I would think it's tiring. He said, not when you have a cart makes it so much easier. And I said, oh, so true. And he said, it's so easy with a cart. And then I said...

this may be a dumb question but i really know nothing about golf did professional golfers use a car why would i ask this like you were feeling really curious at the time i was this was september we're just trying to strike up a conversation with him i know this was in a group chat with robbie foxx yeah this was september 14th 2023. oh my god oh my god happy one year in this conversation

Who knows now? Should I text him the same exact thing on September 14th? Every year you should just check in and make sure he's still feeling okay. It's been a whole year almost. Maybe he's gotten tired since then. You're right. I should check back in. He said they... Oh, well, actually...

they professional golfers don't use a cart i said do professional golfers use a car he said they don't they have to walk but a caddy carries their club still tiring though and he said this was they were in wisconsin he walked four days in a row it was very difficult we had a nice conversation you were really checking yeah we really went back and forth for a while on his stamina i wanted to know if he was tired

And then, shockingly enough, I stopped answering him, which doesn't happen often. No, no, no. Normally he's the one. Yeah. So, yeah. But on September 14th, I will check in again. You should set a reminder. Nobody tell him.

Should we all check in? No, no. We guys just keep it casual. Yeah, it's got to be just Rhea. On September 14th, I will be texting him if he ever gets tired of golfing, and we'll see if he remembers. There's zero chance he remembers that I texted him. Has there been a lot of texts in between? What do you mean? That was last September. No, I know, but you guys don't text every day. Oh, me, Robbie, and Trent have a group chat. Trent and Robbie and Rhea talk all the time. Oh, it's not just. I keep forgetting it's not just. Yeah, no, no. It's not just me and Trent. Me, Robbie, and Trent have a group chat. Also, like...

You and Trent could be talking too. You don't know how often. I don't know why Noah's like, we're friends. Noah's like, I bet you that was only a little bit of a scroll up to find those messages. Trent's a notoriously bad texter. Yes, but a full year? And also, I'm in a couple group chats with Trent. We got the cutting stems one. I got this one with Robbie. The one with Robbie stems way years ago. I miss our workout group chat. We had a workout group chat. You're right. That died.

you know, yeah, because you guys stopped working out. No, I'm still working out. I'm still working out. I think everyone just got self-conscious of like making other people feel bad. Like if you work out, it's like, well, I got taught. There is that. And then I kept sending mine and then nobody was sending theirs. And I was like, oh, there's no need. Yeah, totally. I'm far surpassing them at this point. I'll leave them in the dust. Cause then also then you, then you kind of like, you don't want them to be like, oh,

Like, God, they just keep texting about making me feel bad that she's still working out. But that was like the main, I think, point of the group chat was to like inspire. There were days where I didn't want to do it, but I'm like, well, if Rhea did it. Yeah. And let's be honest. Maybe it just lost its motivation. It was really Tommy and Trent who lost their motivation. Me and you, we're still going strong. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I mean, come on. Look at us. Yeah.

I was gonna say have you seen us we're fucking glowing um I'm back on my tuna salad train it's uh were you ever off remember I kept saying that I was getting stuck

Remember I kept talking about how like I felt like the tuna was like, you know. Yeah. It wasn't going down the right way. Yeah. And then I started making, I started making tuna salad at home because I thought it was other places tuna salads that were like too much. Maybe there was like too much going on there. You know, you don't know what they're putting in their tuna salads. So I started making my own and like, it's fine. But like, you know, you're getting, I'm making tuna salad out of a can. Like when you're making it yourself, like.

seeing yourself make tuna salad is different than like just ordering tuna salad right that's probably you're like you're putting in smell and yeah like i'd make it look like a greek yogurt instead of mayo but like you're mixing a lot of things together you're seeing it all happen it doesn't necessarily hit the same i've also yeah i yeah i um was substituting tuna then i started substituting tuna salad with chickpeas

um like a chickpea tuna salad oh um because i was like oh i don't know that you know like the tuna like i love tuna but like watching myself do this like it's just the mixture of it all you know no i i'm visualizing it's not it's just it's bad colors it is it's bad textures smell when you're making all of it together i started making it with chickpeas instead um but

making it with chickpeas with no tuna at all no tuna at all yeah okay so it's like a chickpea quote-unquote tuna salad but it's really chickpeas like if you were plant-based that would be your tuna salad right and and it's really yummy yeah um but i fucking tried canjano's tuna salad my own good it's delicious so there you go it's

Just get it from them. As much as you like to make stuff yourself. I've had it twice this week. And Matt fucking hates tuna salad. Like genuinely hates tuna salad. Tuna salad is polarizing for many. He really hates it. And he's been traveling for work.

the past couple days. Oh, so you're stinking up the place. So I've been stinking up the joint. You're stinking up the whole joint. I texted him this morning and I was like, I've been stinking up this apartment with Tina Sattler. You're like, honey, our apartment reeks of tuna. It does. I had to light some candles earlier. I was like,

My gosh, tuna salad twice in a week. It's pungent. It's pungent. And it sticks. It's stinking up the joint. It does. Just like it was sticking to your throat, it sticks. It does in the air. It sticks in your kitchen. Yeah. It sticks. You know, it's hot. And I got these big windows where the sun's coming in. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, God. It's just boiling. The tuna salad is just boiling. Here's hot boxing tuna salad. Yeah, yeah. Really cool, though. I don't want to spoil anything, but Matt got to play against some...

Of the best tennis players. Literally the best. In the world. Not even some. The best. Like the best tennis player in the world. Well, he posted the tees for Carlos. Oh, he did. Yeah, he did post it on TikTok. He was seeing if he could return a serve to Carlos Alcaraz. And then today did it against Coco. And I saw... It's crazy. Like, it's insane. Did he do it with Ben Shelton too? Yes, he did. And he said that one was fucking insane.

insane i mean ben shelton has an insane it's like 140 miles per hour yeah um i think it was 136 miles i forget exactly what he said so fast i'd just be terrified to get hit like i'd be like because god but that really fucking hurt yeah i mean he sent me the video i mean their professionals aren't gonna hit him no they're insane they're so fucking he sent me the video with coco before and i was like this is

insane all of the videos are insane but I was like holy fuck like they're so fast like it's crazy but I don't want to spoil anything but they're gonna it's gonna be a great video that is he's great idea and yeah

So excited for that. I wonder what's he going to do next? Like jump in the pool with Michael Phelps? No, I saw someone say that. Is it just going to be like, can he swim faster than Michael Phelps? Because he did the baseball thing. He got a hit. He did football. Now he's doing tennis. He's going to be like playing horse with Kevin Durant or something. No, I know. I'm just like, this is crazy. And I'm like, he's so athletic. I'm like, oh.

And you know, like, my dad eats it up. Well, they were joking around because my nonno is a huge tennis fan. So he plays tennis every day. He's just so obsessed with tennis that sometimes...

we like when we were in florida he'll have tennis on but it's matches from like years ago and like he's like sitting there actively rooting for i'm like my grandpa's the same way he's obsessed and we're just like no no like that was that already happened like years ago right right um but he has been um talking about how much he loves coco and how much he loves like everybody so we were joking around about how like

obviously, you know, when my godson was born, like, you know, Nono didn't really... Like, he's not like, oh, my God, I have to come there and meet him. Like, he has not come to New York to meet, you know, his great-grandchild. His great-grandchild. My brother's getting married in November. Like, he's coming, but he's not like, oh, my God. You know what I mean? Like, he's not showing, like, a lot of emotion about it. They were like, the real test is...

is going to be when we show him these videos of Matt with Carlos and Coco and all these people how he reacts my parents are like we will be judging him very harshly on how he reacts to this because we know he's going to go crazy yeah over these videos more so than like family events yeah

he's got the priorities you know he's just that's just the man loves tennis yeah he he fucking loves tennis sometimes when you got to a certain age you know those those older folk they're like i'm i'm done acting like i care about things that i don't care about no matter what it is they're like yeah i just don't care about i think it like some it's just like the um i don't know what it is like we we can't figure it out we're like

is he, does he not understand? Like, you know, like we're just like, like we, like with Luca. Yeah. But maybe it's a, maybe it's just like the travel. Yeah. Like maybe it's just like, it's not, I don't want to go up there. Yeah. But he brings the baby to me. When you call him, like, he's not like, Oh,

like he just like ah yeah well you know what he's probably like if you see one baby you've seen him yeah exactly it's already happened to him three times yeah he's like i got my own grandkids i got now my grandkids are having grandkids like having like my grandkids are having babies yeah he's exhausted but this this tennis stuff will that'll that'll really rile him up um oh he's gonna be fired it's super cool i'm really excited for people to see that video um

I'm so proud of him. It's so cool. That's very cool. Yeah, it is. All right. Should we get into the rest of the topic? Yeah. All right. I wish I had something fun to add today. I don't. It's only Tuesday. I know. You know what I mean? No, it is only Tuesday. You're right. It's Wednesday for everybody listening. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly.

My tuna salad wasn't like groundbreaking. No, no, no. It was just something that was on the brain. Yeah. Because I just had a nice tuna salad. We did have a nice time at Mount Joy. We didn't really talk about that. Oh, yeah. At Red Rocks. No, we didn't. Oh, well. On the podcast, we didn't. I didn't know if we were like fully dive, like. No, no. I mean, you know, you're looking for something cool to talk about.

Yes, it was cool. I will say. Okay, I guess we're not talking about it. Yeah, why is this exchange so awkward? I don't know. I just feel like we moved, like it's like, that was last week.

Okay then Well no You enjoyed it I enjoyed it You know Sometimes when like We Sometimes when we record And then we go back You go back in time I'm like we already put an episode out It's over Right right That wasn't my That yeah yeah It's you know That was for Monday And we forgot Right Well that's nice You had an amazing time But I feel like we did mention We were No I don't think we did No Not at all No Not really I don't think so No not at all I mean it was great It was a great show What'd you think of Red Rocks? Awesome I almost wish like I mean our seats were amazing Obviously just

like with it all being set up and everything but i kept looking back because like the rocks and i want to see the rocks like if you were in the back then you get the whole like the whole rocks are you gonna find yourself going back there oh i hope totally yeah no it was head by see oh wait now i remember it's because we were here on friday yes we all saw each other we did come in on friday so that's why it was already out the brain because we already talked about it right sometimes it's like

When we don't see each other, then Monday mornings we're ready. We did come in on Friday. Just to recap, but we were all chatting on Friday. But Noah was having a good head bob. Noah really sinks his teeth into the music, and I appreciate that. Did you get any new Mount Joy songs that you enjoy from the show? The Mount Joy song that they performed with...

Richie and the oil miners. Richie Mitch. And the coal miners. And the coal miners. I really like that song. I've been playing that song. Do you act like you're in a music video often when you're at home? Sometimes, but I more so act like I'm the artist sometimes.

like in the shower yeah yeah like i'm a big air guitar player like in the shower yeah we're just like in general let me tell you i took a picture in front of noah in front of the photo of john mayer and he just like posed like john mayer without me like without me being like dude like oh my god like he just meant like that's incredible oh my god that's so good i feel that so hard yeah that was funny when we were in the green room and um i think it was matt was like

yeah, but I bet you John Mayer, like, cause I was filming from the bathroom. He's like, I bet you John Mayer has gone to the bathroom in there. Yeah, he definitely has. There you go. Um, that's the, I know exactly what you mean though. Pretending you were the artist. Like I was, uh, at the gym yesterday and it was like in the middle of the day because we had recorded from home. So it was like, I want to say like two o'clock. And so there was nobody in there. And, and,

the way that I was acting like I was every artist in the song. I peeled it back for a second. I was like, whoa, whoa. Like if somebody walks in here, they're going to be, they're going to turn away because they're going to see that somebody's putting on a whole performance. They're not going to want to be in here with you. No one's probably really enjoying it. Whoever, whatever security, whoever had this job for security yesterday, he was at the camera looking at all the cameras in the building. It's the way I change my walk.

on the treadmill to walk like I am on a runway when I'm performing. Like if I'm listening to a song and I start, the way that I start moving my hips on this day, I'm like, oh, I got to put some heels on. Like I just, I just really feel it. But then I was like, okay, you know what? You're going to get, people are going to turn away if they look in the window and they want to come in. They're going to see you and go, mm,

Not right now. We'll come back when this concert's over. Yeah. All right. Let's get into the rest of the show. We are going to be talking about some topics. Kylie Jenner's on the cover of British Vogue. We also have some Bravo news. Mamma Mia 3 is officially in the works. We also have the Chicks in the Office playlist, Cito playlist, Bachelor recap, and a High School Musical 2 playlist.

So let's get into it. Let's start off with the CETO playlist. Yeah. Let's get into it. That was the fakest yeah of all time. Give me more of like a fuck yeah. No? Nothing? You're not going to give us anything today? No, but sometimes- You don't want to talk about red rocks. You don't want to give a fuck yeah. But then it's forced. Fuck yeah. Yeah, but then it's not genuine. The first one you did wasn't genuine either. No, it wasn't. It wasn't. It wasn't. All right, fucking.

Alright, welcome back to the Cito playlist where we add some 10 songs that we just want to add to the playlist. I actually saw somebody write Hits in the Office, which really would have been a great title. But this girl wrote Hits in the Office. I saw someone else comment this a couple weeks ago. So now it's like, how do we trace it back? How do we trace it back to give the proper credit? Well, that's nice that she didn't claim she came up with it herself. Yeah, that was very nice, but now we can't claim it either.

But I just want to acknowledge that I do think that's a great name. And unfortunate that the three minds sitting here right now couldn't come up with that. That really stinks. But all right, let's get into it.

sometimes I'm really astonished. It's like, how couldn't we come up with that? We're supposed to be creative. We are. It's just, we talk a lot. Yeah, it's true. Sometimes the ideas come. It's like when we do our live shows. All the way leading up to the live show, all of a sudden Green Room hits. We're flowing with ideas. We're like, how do we make this happen 10 minutes before the show? That is true. And I also want to say that last night, my dream was our live shows, we decided we were just going to perform Wicked. Yeah.

honestly sign me up like it was and honestly it was fucking incredible it was really good we did a phenomenal job we really did and I was so nervous before the show and then I realized oh we're just performing we're just performing Wicked we have this we have the script something look the movie is gonna be coming out

You know? Yeah. Around the time, not to give too much away, but we can start teasing a little bit. Around the time that we're doing some shows. We got it. Yeah. Hey, all the dating. We got a tour coming up. That would be a hell of a promo for them. I know they're asking for it. We got a tour coming up. For a full-blown...

Glinda Elphaba show on stage. Yeah. I'm sure our listener, after the message I got today about stop singing the weekly Watcherboard jingle, I'm sure they'd really love for us to get up on stage and sing. I see you up there doing a little popular.

wanna be popular oh my god see you know I'm not gonna let I'm not gonna let this stop me from singing the jingle I post the reason I'm talking about is because I posted on my story today I would even and you know what maybe we just lip sync it

that would be amazing we just and we just perform but we just tell noah to press the button and we just lip sync that would be a dream we say noah turn our mics off that would be an absolute dream turn the turn the sound on yeah that would be a dream oh there was two things i love paulo and isabella two things i want to address first of all the reason i'm bringing up the weekly watch report thing is because somebody dm'd me about um they wrote

I love you so much, but can you please stop singing Weekly Watch Report on Monday? And now this is not the first DM I've gotten about it. So like I've ignored it in the past, but I'm like, you know what? This is not the first one I've gotten. Like if this is ruining the show, I have to, you know me, I stress out. I'm like, I gotta stop singing it if people really hate it that much. But then I posted that on my story that the jingle may be coming to an end and I was flooded with no, no, no, don't stop. No, don't stop. And I was like, you know what?

If you guys were louder in the beginning of saying you loved it. I mean, it's just the perfect proof. No, but it's just the perfect example of ignoring when people are negative. Right. Because then if you post it, which I don't think we do often anymore. I feel like I used to do it more. Then you have all the people coming out of the woodworks being like, no, I love that. And I'm like, well, where were you before saying you loved it? Well, it's just like no one's going to go out of their way to be like, right.

hey that thing you do I really love that like you know people these days don't just say I love things it's more like I hate that yes correct so you know what I'm not gonna stop and the next weekly watch report we have I'm gonna see it in my whole fucking chest as you should and the second thing I want to address is that I do not have a lisp um

episode we recorded over Zoom. I was having many of complications with my microphone, my laptop, everything. Nothing was cooperating. It was driving us all nuts. And we said, fuck it. We'll just record. We have to record. We have to get the episode out. Nothing was working. So

apparently uh the fuzzy audio apparently ended up making me sound like i i developed a lisp maybe i was wearing a retainer invisalign people were asking if i got dental work yeah i opened up my messages i have all these messages you have invisalign did you get dental work it reminded me that actually a couple months ago i had a dentist appointment that i canceled and i haven't rescheduled and i said fuck i gotta reschedule this now it just reminded me of that no dental work

No list, but I now see what the reaction would be if so happened that did happen. If you just overnight picked up a list. Like, geez, Louise, you know? Cut a girl some slack if that did happen. People were up in arms. You know, people are...

It's crazy. People were up in arms. I know, but it's like, maybe I just don't see as much stuff. I don't know. But there was a long time I was recording this show with Invisalign and probably had a lisp. We haven't addressed... No, but you didn't have a lisp in my eyes. Yeah, but there were certain words. Yeah, but nobody messaged me saying, what's going on with Fran's lisp? Well, that's what I'm saying. Like...

You know? Clearly, you know, I don't know why they just immediately went to you having Invisalign. They would have messaged you if you had a lisp. They would have said, Fran, what's going on with you? But I think because they knew you had Invisalign, maybe they didn't message you. That's true, I did announce. You announced you had Invisalign. I announced the Invisalign. So they're not going to message you going, what's going on with your lisp? They know you have Invisalign. For me, I never said...

You don't think I'd come on here and immediately say if I got Invisalign or I had Retainer or anything? I'm talking about when I go to the bathroom. And I would be like, guys, I got Invisalign. So anyways, no lisp. Just some audio issues. Anyways...

Cito playlist. What you listening to? Yeah, what are you listening to these days? Some good new music out this week, I will say. I enjoyed New Music Friday. I don't have a single new song. Mine's half and half, I will say. Yeah, I think it's about half and half. I will go with the new ones first. Beaches, Beba Doobie, me and Rob. Okay, Rob. Me and Rob, we love. And just want to say,

I've been listening to Bebe Doobie for a while. You did mention Bebe Doobie before Rob did. Yes. On Love Island. And I do... I've mentioned her before. And I also know from my own personal life that there was a time years ago when it was... And it was years. That I...

Came across one of her songs. I thought it was great. And I sent it to Robbie Fox. Because I was like, I think you'd really like this girl. And then we would talk about Beepadoopie. Oh my God. I thought you were going to say you sent it to Rob. And that's how Rob... No, yeah, I know. And then I sent it to Rob B. Fox. Yes. And...

he loved it and we talked about that i think that we might be meeting rob at some point this week are you gonna tell her are you gonna be like oh i love i love baby doobie no yeah i would i honestly wouldn't want you to probably cower in his presence i was gonna say i hope you don't say because you don't want to be a foreign with him you're about to be a married woman no uh well that's why i'll just cower and and i just kind of want to look at him from a distance you just want to admire yeah

Because, to be honest, I think talking to him would really... Might ruin it. Yeah, so, honestly, we were...

But I don't know how much I'm supposed to say or not say. But we were supposed to interview him and a couple other people. He's not coming on anymore. Things have been changed up on us a few times in the last couple weeks. Yeah, we're getting fucking bopped around all over the place. And we're just getting stepped on. And you know what? We try to fight the good fight. And we just get told what to do. And then we say, okay, thank you. Yeah. But anyways...

He was supposed to come on and now he's not. No, I'm kidding. I would love to chat with him. Yeah, I know. I just need to experience it in real life. Yeah. I just need to know if you're really like this. Right. Like I need to know what his personality is like off camera. And we are, I think, going to be meeting him in an off camera setting, which then will give us the insight. And then we will tell you guys what we think. Yeah. Yeah.

let's hope so they're really enjoying bopping around new york it seems it does but i just wish they would venture out of time square and enjoy them you know it's like that's like some of them like serena was like this is my first time in new york right no i want them to see time square yeah yeah but when they're eating all their meals i need them to venture out of time square it's like don't eat there don't eat in time square yeah go eat there's so many amazing restaurants if it's your first time you kind of have to go to time square

No, she's saying go. I said go to Times Square, but I'm saying don't eat all your meals in Times Square. Yeah, she's like, don't, you know, maybe skip out on Margaritaville in Times Square for a meal. Like, Carmine's isn't the best Italian restaurant in New York City. Do you think they think that, though? I don't know. I think maybe. They might not even know. They might not know. Like, if someone's, you know, oh, like, Aaron is from the UK. He's like, going to Carmine's in Times Square, you know.

Okay, next I have YYY Shawn Mendes' new song. I like it. Although he did mention a little pregnancy scare in this song. Did you see that? No. Yeah, he said he was almost a father. Oh. Question mark.

Don't really know what that means. Oh. Or when or who or why. Damn. Well, I guess why. I do know. You know. You know how that happens. You know how that was. Yeah. But he's saying why, why, why. Okay. The next I have Bright Lights, The Killers. The Killers have a new song. Really good. Very Bruce Springsteen-esque. Like big, a big horn section, which is always fun. Big production. Yeah.

Shout out Phineas of Phineas and Billy. I really am not a Phineas and Ferb for crying out loud is his new song. Really good. Really like it. I've been listening to it often in the last few days since it, since it came out.

And I like to see Phineas getting out there and doing his own stuff because he is very creative and very good at what he does. And he does all that stuff for Billy and now he gets to do it for him. It's interesting because I've heard him talk about like he wants to make his music completely separate from Billy. Like he doesn't want the sound to be at all the same. Yeah.

So I have never really listened to his music like solo. Me either. Well, you should listen to his songs. It's good. And then I will say I come and go a little bit and I'm very picky when it comes to country songs that I do like. But Post Malone has a new album coming out.

It's basically just country. And it's all like collabs with current country stars, some past country stars. But he put out a song with Luke Combs called Guy for That. And I thought it was very catchy and I liked it.

Post Malone really does it all. He really does. And everybody seems to be wanting to dip their toes into country music. You know, Beyonce, Post Malone. But country music for me, the summertime, it's always going to get me more than any other time of year. Okay, and then I have...

Some my five randos. Okay. Now I am getting married soon. So I've been working on a lot of music type things for for that event and whatnot. So that was some inspiration for some of it. But Real Love Baby Father John Misty. Great song. There's something you just like you don't listen to often enough and you're like this is a great song.

um Hollywood Nights I don't know if you have you put Bob you have Bob some Bob Seger but it's not and then Noah spelled Bob Seger wrong but did you was it Hollywood Nights or was it still the same still the same yeah so I'm going Hollywood Nights please spell it correctly my dad gave me a lot of shit for that yep um

What's Up for Non-Blondes. Oh, I love that song. That's a great song. Great song. Joe and I were going through, like, our band had sent us, like, this massive list of songs that they can play. And, like, they just said, oh, you know, mark ones that you really, really love and ones that, like, do not play, you know? And when I saw that one, I was like, oh, this is a must play. Hey!

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, must play. Must play. I said, hey, what's going on? Yep, great song. Alaska, Maggie Rogers. This was just on my day list the other day, and it's one of my favorites. I love Maggie Rogers. I know this is like her first really big song, and it's the best. One of my friends went to Alaska, I'm pretty sure, just only because of this song by himself. Wow, that's beautiful. He really likes Maggie Rogers. It was after like a breakup.

I think he pray love is going through it. Yeah, totally. That was a major. Um, and then lastly, this is another one that I was just listening from my, from my day list. And I realized I don't feel like I haven't put enough, um, Taylor Swift on here. So now that we don't talk Taylor's version, I saw Taylor's version, uh, mixed thoughts from the people about that whole conversation we had. Yeah. And I disagree with them.

And you know what? I think... They can have their opinions. So can we. Yeah. I did see one comment that said, oh, well, if Jon did his Jon version, you would never... I would not care. I would listen to the original Continuum if Jon made Jon's versions. Continuum is... I have a song from Continuum on my playlist. But what if you thought it was better? If he had... If the new Continuum, which would just be impossible, it wouldn't be better...

You're telling me with a straight face, do you think that any of the Taylor's versions are better than the original? Some of them, yes. I actually do, yeah. Well, if it was better, then yeah. But I'm not listening to like...

Not all of them, but... Guys, are we doing this conversation? No, we're not. I'm actually done. Well, I'm about to get into my playlist. I have a song from Continuum on this playlist. Really? Yes. So why don't I just start off with it? Yep. Stop This Train. This song... It's a great song. I had to take a pause there for a second because...

I'm all right. I well up. She's crying. I really do. It's a sad one. It's a very emotional song. Yeah. It really is. Really starting off your list with it. It's just like, I would love to stop this train and just live in this moment. It's his dad's favorite song, he said. Yeah, I mean- And I've been to concerts where he like prefaces it with that and his dad's in the crowd. He talks about not wanting his-

parents grow older and like what's he gonna do yeah and just like you know when you guys tricked me about him coming on the podcast one of my like questions that i came up with when i still thought that the interview was happening was for with a lyric in this song

Oh, you made up questions. I told you that. Oh, Noah, that breaks my heart. I'm really sorry. Anyways, moving on. I'm going to go into, are you, that's that fucking. Just major oof. That was, that, I'm sorry. Yep. I'm really sorry. Okay, moving on. Are you that somebody, Aaliyah? Baby girl. Yeah. Yeah.

Great song. Then I'm going to go into Crimson and Clover, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. I have a lot of Joan Jett on my playlist, so I'll be sprinkling some more Joan Jett and the Runaways. As it continues? As the playlist continues. But I'm going to start off with that one.

Then I will go to Old Thing Back. It's the Matoma remix of Biggie and Ja Rule. Yeah. I want that old thing back. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. That's a great song. Yes, it is. I saw Matoma at Terminal 5 once and it was awesome. I do remember that. Yeah. Um...

Then I will go to Happier Than Ever, Billie Eilish. That's probably my favorite Billie Eilish song. Yeah, it's up there for me too. Great song. It was the time that it came out and everything for me that just like, I love that song. I'll go to The Language, Drake.

I texted you about this Saturday when I said nothing was the same. It's crazy that that album was Drake's fourth album. It is because you would think it's like earlier. And not even that. I thought it would be late. Like, I just thought that Drake had... You thought it would be like a month later. Because that was 2012 and Drake's first album was 2008. So, like, for some reason, nothing was the same. Like, seems more recent to me than older. That was my, like, senior high school, I remember. Yeah. Yeah.

Great album. I actually had another song on that album from here, but I took it off and replaced Poundcake, Daisy, and Drake. But I'm going to save that for next week. Preview. So don't take it. Preview. Don't take it. That'll be on my next week one. I love that song. Great song, but I'm going to save that. And then I will do Party Monster the weekend. And then I feel like I don't know.

Maybe if I played it, but maybe not. Yeah. Lo, SZA. You added a couple to the weekend songs. I've been in the weekend type. Well, what happened was when we were at the Jersey Shore...

I don't know if this is going to sound weird or not, but the day after my birthday, we were all just like chilling in the pool. We were all really hungover and we were just like soaking in the sun, laying in the pool. And we wanted like a chill kind of vibe listening to music. But we then ventured into like we wanted like a chill, sexy vibe. So we were trying to... We were adding what we all thought was like the sexiest songs we could think of.

It was strange. What did you say? No, it was funny, but out of context, it sounds very strange. It sounds very strange that we all were like, let's play the sexiest songs we can find together. Right. And it was just funny because- You had baby making music playing. Yeah, kind of.

And like we were But we were all chilling so hard Yeah But um Cause I would say like That kind of music Like you can also like chill too Yep But There was one point Tommy was like Play this song It's the sexiest song I've ever heard And then we all were like

This is nuts. Like, it was just funny to see what everyone's thought of, like what a sexy song is and what's not a sexy song. Party Monster to me is not a sexy song, but I've just been on the weekend kick. Right. Because we had a lot of the weekend because like the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack has a lot of the weekend on it. It certainly does. So, yeah. And then I low SZA. And then my last one will be brutal Olivia Rodrigo. Mm hmm.

Brutal here. I forgot one more. Sorry. I keep doing that. You're trying to save it again. No, no, no. I just always save mine. Cut off Noah before his last song. Oh, wait. I forgot my 10. Sorry. You're So Vain, Carly Simon. Classic. You're so vain.

It does always make me think of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Benjamin Barry, you probably think this song is about you. Yeah, my... Remember those iPod... Not... Nanos? It was like not a... It was like the stick. It was just one. It was white. And it was... It didn't even have a screen. Shuffle? Was it the Shuffle? The Shuffle didn't have a screen. The Shuffle didn't have a screen.

But they were like squares. iPod long white stick. I feel like I don't know what that is. Yeah, it was the iPod shuffle first generation. It was literally this. It was just a long white stick. Oh, it straight up looks like an Apple TV remote. It does. It looks like an Apple TV remote. And my parents had one that they shared and I would listen to it. And Your Sylvain was one of the songs on there.

as well as Total Eclipse of the Heart, which I played, Total Eclipse of the Heart, I played on repeat as a child. That will, I'm also, I'm also, that one will be on my list next week because I've now mentioned three songs that will be on my list next week. Preview. Okay, that's it. Okay. My first song, it's a new song. It's called High Hopes. It's,

Cameron Marlowe. Oh, no, no, no. Cameron Marlowe, who I was not. I didn't know who that was. And Marcus King. Marcus King is the reason why I heard it. But very good. I would say it's like, I don't know if this Cameron guy is like a country guy, but it's got a country feel to it. I don't know if this Cameron guy is a country fellow.

But yeah, that's a good one. I love Marcus King. 1901 by Phoenix. It's like a throwback. Yeah. That's a great one. You were thinking about that because of the closing ceremonies? Yeah.

Phoenix played at the closing ceremony. Oh, they did? Yeah. Oh, I had no idea. I didn't even know, like, I have no idea what they look like. I don't know any other songs outside of this one. Oh, no, they performed at the closing ceremony. Oh, I didn't even know they were still, like, banned. Yeah. Hey, they were there. They were performing. What's that song? This has nothing to do with this. Whoa, I need some more. Uh-oh.

What are you waiting for? Take a bite of my Is that Animals? Yeah is that Kings of Leon? Animals? I don't think that's Kings of Leon is it? Animals song I think it might be No Animals is Maroon 5

Take a bite of my heart tonight. Uh-oh, I want some more. Oh, it's Animal by Neon Trees. Oh, Neon Trees. Leon, Neon. I get it. Neon Trees. Animal by Neon Trees. Shit, I might have to make my playlist. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Back to you. Take a bite of my heart tonight. I'm thinking of... And that's not even the song. It has nothing to do with that song. But now it's making me think that I need to put...

Sex is on fire. Kings of Leon on fire. Yeah, that's a great one. That's a great fucking song. Did I not put that on mine? No, I put Sex and Candy. No, yeah. Yeah, sex is... I'm sexism, girl. You're sexism. Here we go again. Okay, sorry, no. I feel the chemicals kicking in. It's getting heavy and I wanna run and hide. There was a time in my life that I had this song on repeat on my iPod. I do it every time. Yeah, can it.

me now honestly yes i listen to that song a lot why you the animal out of you oh god cut this maybe mute us no no honestly if you got a fucking problem with some passion fast forward yeah we can't have a little fun when you're with your friends you don't sing a little bit

you know i agree i'm not gonna let my fun be stopped i'm just not i just can't go okay uh my third song is uh back pocket by wolf peck not sure if you guys have heard of them i don't know too many of the songs but nice little um i don't even know how to describe them but um

I really don't know how to describe them. Okay. You don't have to. You can just say the next one. I want to describe it so people listen or want to listen, but I really can't. I think people like your suggestions anyway. Without you describing them. Yeah.

My next one is Come On In by Lady Rae. I'm not sure if you guys... Lady Rae. She's more like R&B, like soul, but she's newer, so it's kind of... Very good. I've liked her for a while, but in this album that this song is on, I pretty much like all the songs, so recommend her. Two Worlds Apart, Little Sims. I feel like you guys have heard of Little Sims. No? No. She's like one of my favorite rappers. She's a British rapper.

She's incredible. I saw her live at Terminal 5, actually, last year. She's incredible. But you would know some of her songs, I think. And she's amazing. Small World's by Mac Miller. Just a great song. Fun fact, John Mayer is the guitar in that song. Also, speaking of Marcus King, he does a cover of Small World. It's on YouTube. Very good. I would recommend watching that video where he covers that.

Evidence by Sampha.

I think you guys know Sampha. - No, after everyone can't say that. - You know how you know Sampha? He's on Nothing Was The Same, the Too Good song. He's like the, or Don't Think About It Too Much, that's him. - Wait, really? - Yeah. - Can I tell you something about that song though? - I don't. - I'll tell you something about that song. ♪ Don't think about it too much ♪ You know what that song will do to you? It'll make you think about it too much. And I had that take when it first came out,

that it was making me think about it too much and I still agree. I think it's a great song now because the things that were hurting me back then when it came out don't hurt me anymore. It was about my high school relationships. I was like, oh man, I'm thinking about it too much. But now I can listen to it because I'm not sad about that. But Sampha has an incredible voice and this song, I think it's about like

his daughter and it's basically like she's the all the evidence that he needs like of there being like a higher gotcha I think that's what it's about I'm not sure um it's a nice message kind of reminds me of like the message kind of reminds me of that is what it's about the Stevie Wonder song um what's the song about his daughter uh isn't she lovely oh yeah beautiful um

Cherry Wine, Nas, and Amy Winehouse. Finally, one I know. Nas is my favorite rapper of all time, and I love Amy Winehouse. I was watching Celebrity Jeopardy yesterday, and it was touring. Family Feud. Oh, sorry. Sorry.

Celebrity family team. And it was Tori Kelly's family against Meghan Trainor's family. And the category was Best Rappers Alive. And Daryl, Meghan Trainor's husband, hit the buzzer so fast to CJ Cole and it wasn't on there. And Tori Kelly said Nas.

And he wasn't on there. What? Yeah. And Kendrick Lamar wasn't on there. Lil Wayne wasn't on there. So who was on there? I said, but Jay-Z. Drake wasn't on there. So it was Jay-Z, 50 Cent. Biggie Smalls. Biggie, Tupac. I mean, they're all good. They're great. But I think people just love to say Tupac. Yeah. Because like, I mean, let's be honest. Family Feud is a small sampling, you know? Yeah. And I just think in general, like.

If you die, like you become more of a legend like immediately. Yeah. I Was Wrong by Chris Stapleton. I actually don't really. Great song. It's a great song. And I, one of like the first Chris Stapleton songs I've listened to. Like I hadn't heard it before this week. I was going to say, I don't think you would like Chris Stapleton. Yeah. I don't know why I haven't, but like in my mind he was always just like country, which I guess he's not. Yeah, yeah. He's really not. Yeah. He's more like Marcus King. Totally Marcus King vibes. And I know Marcus King like goes on the road with him, but. Yeah. Great song.

And then I'll end it with The Good Life slash I Want to Be Around by Tony Bennett. But the unplugged version where he's great song. Love Tony Bennett. Specifically acoustic. Yeah, because he combines the two songs. Like The Good Life and I Want to Be Around are like two separate, I think. So he combines it in this live version. I love it. Great song. Beautiful.

Did you like the Tony Bennett little... Lady Gaga? No, in Entourage, the Tony Bennett, you know, there's like a little storyline, very short with Tony Bennett because it's with Leighton Meester's character. What was the story? I can't remember him in Entourage. It's like one episode where she, Leighton Meester's character, she plays like the really innocent singer. Yeah, yeah. And...

She's going to perform with Tony Bennett. I remember. That was like a little preview of Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett. Yeah, I don't know. Great list once again had by all. And another song just popped in my head that I am adding to next week. Oh, good. I'm not even going to give you guys a preview. I had one thought for you when it came to music. Did you see that Obama put that? Oh, my God. I saw his list. Yes, I did. I saw that. I was like, oh.

I was like, no, no one week ahead of that recommendation. You guys would bond over music. Sometimes I see his list and like, I love rock. But I'm like, there's no way he's listening to all these songs. Like some of the songs that he put on there, I'm like, this is just like for PR. Somebody helps him. I think somebody helps him, but I do think he. Like is he bumping like Million Dollar Baby by Tommy Richmond? He might be. He might be. Let's also not forget that he does have young daughters.

Yeah. That could be playing music in the house, you know? I feel like he does know these songs and stuff. Yeah. But I did see people talking about 365. Yeah. Because that one's strictly about cocaine. Yeah, yeah. I mean, yes. I mean, he's not listening to that. Yeah. But there are some on there that I'm like, he's definitely listening to. The oldies are definitely him. And I bet some of them, like, I bet you with the newer ones, it's like, oh, he knows...

that like his daughters were listening to them and his daughters are like it's brat summer yeah exactly like you gotta throw charlie they're like you gotta yeah yeah yeah yep yeah um all right that is the 10 songs that we each added and a little preview of next week's playlist also i do think it's not ready yet but i think the month thing like might be a good yeah i think month is a good idea so i'm gonna start trying to roll that out yeah yep there you have it wonderful

Okay, Tony Bennett. Wonderful.

A little joking around, she thought, not Kendall, it's her. First one, first Kardashian to be on British Vogue. Yes. Which I was surprised by that as well. I am also.

am always very surprised and confused on how the selection of people being on Vogue even happens. Like, you remember that conversation where it was like, Kendall was supposed to be on the cover of American Vogue, and then they took Kendall out and put Kim in, and like, Kris had to tell Kim that it was going to be her, but then not Kendall at the same time. It's like, how did that even happen? Like, how did they make these decisions? Big...

Big Queen Anna makes a phone call. Yeah. So Kylie was on the cover. Timothee Chalamet is mentioned in the first paragraph. Yeah. Because they're like, is Timothee Chalamet here? She also posted pictures on Instagram history that everyone was like, oh my God, that's Timmy in the background. I'm like... Yeah. You can't tell who that is. No. That...

That's anybody. I really actually do admire how she has been able to keep that relationship pretty private. I think it's fairly impressive with the life that they live. Like you rarely see. I think people are freaking out about them coming off a plane together or something the other day. Because I think every few months people are like, are they still together? Are they not? But.

Even in the interview, she really was like, you know, private life, trying to keep things private. So doesn't really give any details on that. But, you know, she talks about her life, her business, motherhood, like how motherhood changed her and all these things. I feel like Kylie having kids at like a younger age really did make sense.

And it was some beautiful quotes of just like how like having children really kind of grounded her. Because it is so crazy when you're, you know, obviously so famous at such a young age and so many eyeballs and so much money and like all these things. And she was like, you know, just had these two little people that just like love me unconditionally. Like it was very, very sweet. She talked about her.

Also, you know, she battled with some postpartum depression with both her kids and also spoke about like how she struggled post having air and like not knowing what the heck his name was. And she kind of joked like, you know, pick a name before it happens because then she was like,

He was Wolf and then apparently he was Knight for a little while. And then now he's Air. What's weird is I did see people think that. So it's kind of crazy for her to confirm that it was. Yeah, she said that sometimes Stormi is like, remember when his name was Knight? She's like, no. No, we don't talk about that, Stormi. No, we don't talk about that. And yeah, she's just super focused on fashion right now and all these things that I think...

You know, there's been a lot of focus on kind of what she said about just her in terms of like her body, too. She's like, I'm young and I and I got pregnant and I gained weight when I had my babies and then I lost the weight and people like want to now like scrutinize me for that.

How that happened and what I did. And of course, like Ozempic is mentioned and, you know, it's all those the same things, same conversations that everybody now seems to have to answer to that question. Right. And like, it's like she could have just lost weight after she had a baby. Right. She's like, you know, I had a baby and I've worked my like I'm back to where I was. Right. And also if she didn't do it that way and she did you something. I don't think Kylie Jenner is coming out on British folk saying it like as well.

But I could see like her being like, yeah, I had two kids and like now I'm just back to like what I was before. Definitely. She does kind of touch on how, you know, having Stormy and Stormy getting older and like having a daughter really like wants, really kind of changed her perspective on a lot of things too. Which she talked about, she's talked about that on the show and all those sorts of things, which is, you know, a great sentiment, but it's sometimes it's like,

has that changed so much? Right. Like, but I get what she's trying to say. Yeah. Yeah. But it's like, how much is that really gonna, like, you're still like, yeah, right. It's, it's the, in my mind, sometimes I'm like, the damage is already done, which is fine. Then now she wants to change it and move on from it and not continue it. Great. That's wonderful. Right. But she was also growing up in the spotlight. Totally. And like,

There I'm sure there were things being said to her that we didn't even see that made her want to change 100 percent. And then she changed how she looked. And then all these, you know, unrealistic beauty standards happen. And then all of a sudden they feel like they're responsible for it. And they're like, how did we end up being responsible for it? There's so much. They were in the spotlight so much. They were so young, pushed into so many critiques of their of their physical self.

That, yeah, of course that would make you want to change things. And I'm sure... Like, if people are commenting on how, like, tiny and ugly your lips are, like, you're going to want to change them. Yeah. And so I could see that, like, inner battle that she must have had growing up. Like, I want to change how I look because people so much to say. And then when you do change how you look, people get mad at you. So it's like, there's so, I'm sure, like, an inner fight in there. Definitely. But she... I feel like this is the best...

era she's been in kylie yeah she looks happy and beautiful totally the pictures are stunning absolutely stunning and spread as well her hair is so fabulous like it's really fantastic these days like looking just it's oh it's just like curly and yeah it looks really nice you know luscious luscious yeah it looks shiny looks real shiny too it looks it looks like she's taking great care of it um yeah and you know what i'm sure she is yep so happy for you guys happy happy

Happy for you and Timmy. They've been pretty chill, the Kardashians, I feel like. You know? When was the last time we had a big Kardashian headline? It's been a while. It's been a while, and since you said that, something's going to come out.

I kind of hope so. Right? Like we need a little something. I watched the 10th episode of the Kardashian show yesterday on Hulu. I've been watching the episodes. I just have not put it on the weekly watch report because it's something that I truly put on as background. I'm like, oh, new episode. I put it on the background. I haven't watched in a while. I'll be honest. Like it's just kind of, there's just not really much happening. There's not much happening at all. And it's just all about how Kim like thinks she's the best all the time. I'm not going to lie. Like it is, it almost has gotten to, I'm like,

Yeah. Okay. Okay. We got it. We got it. No, it is because now it just feels like the show is like Kim just wants to work really hard and still keep working and like have it all and like everybody else like wants to slow down a little bit and that's it. Yeah. And like she shames Chloe for the way that she like raises her kids and has a schedule and she's like you need to like step out of Calabasas and like do this and do that and Chloe's like is it so bad that I like want to have a schedule with my kids and I'm like no that isn't bad. Actually you seem like you want your kids to like kind of lead a semi-normal life because their life is not going to be normal.

So yeah, that's my takeaway on that. But

But yeah, they've been laying pretty low for, I mean, in terms of like big headlines. Definitely. There hasn't been anything much. Moving on to Bravo. So there was like a rumor going around. Apparently Peter was going around West Hollywood telling people that Tom Tom. Yes, Peter of Vanderpump Rules. Yeah, Peter of Vanderpump Rules was going around West Hollywood and telling people that Tom Tom was turning into Pump. Now Pump shut down. Pump was one of the Vanderpump restaurants. They have Sir, they have Pump, they have Tom Tom, and they have Schwartz and Sandy's. And...

something about her is not involved in that little thing because Lisa Vanderpump's not involved in that but Pump was shut down a little while back yep and now the rumor was that Tom Tom's turning into Pump because the name Tom Tom is like bringing it down like gonna rebrand or just like move Pump over to where the Tom Tom space is but Lisa says that is not accurate although she did joke that it would be that it would be a good idea

It would be a good idea. Having been to TomTom... Susan, thanks for the idea. By the way, having been to TomTom pre-Scandival... Yeah. Multiple times... Yeah. It's a good place. It is. They got good drinks. They got good food. Yeah, I agree. But I don't know if it's gone downhill since then. And I think a lot of the...

employees that were at pump maybe moved over to Tom Tom and there's just been like a mix of things. But Lisa put in a statement to us weekly said, when we closed pump, we moved some of the staff and our chef to Tom Tom as they were so good. So we've been affectionately calling the back garden of Tom Tom, the pump garden. And then she said, but that happened months ago. Um,

The restaurateur shut down Peter's speculation about the future of TomTom, adding, hadn't thought about rebranding it at all, but thanks for the idea, Peter. LOL. Then she said she made it clear she's focusing on opening new businesses instead of reimagining her existing ones. Hard at work on pinkies at the Flamingo in Las Vegas. So, I mean, she's got a she's got a ton going on, Lisa. She's got Vanderpump Villa. Yeah.

She got Vanderpump, the restaurant, the one in multiple in Vegas now. She always has her hands in something. And let me just remind everybody, back in 2018, I had a joint rolling contest with James Kennedy in the back garden of TomTom. Yep. And I won. Yep.

Never forget. On the plates of Tom Tom. Shout out Sheena. Yeah. And I was very afraid that Lisa Vanderpump was going to find me and be very upset. Remember then we saw her? No, that was so fun. Sheena literally, Sheena was like, let's take you on a little tour around the place. And she took us to all the little restaurants. She took us to all their spots. Back in 2018. That was a long time ago. That was a while ago. Yeah. Holy shit. That was a really long time ago. It's 2024, it's gonna be 2025 soon. Yeah. My gosh. Um...

Yeah, I think honestly it wouldn't be a bad idea to turn it back as a pump. Ken was holding a dog that I would have bet money on was dead. Yeah, we were like, that's a stuffed dog. That dog is not breathing. Oh my God. I think we have a taxidermy situation on our hands. Yeah, that was unreal. But yeah. I think moving it to the name Pump wouldn't be such a bad idea. No, it definitely wouldn't. But you know Tom Tom's not going to let that happen. I think Tom Tom stays Tom Tom.

And I just feel like Sandoval's not that involved. The name Tom Tom can kind of stand on its own because I don't think of it as Tom and Tom. I think Tom Tom. Tom Tom. Yeah, like a drum. Yeah, Tom Tom. Yeah, I agree.

Stassi's going back to reality TV too. More news. Stassi's going back to reality TV. She's going to be featured on Vanderpump Villa. I haven't watched Vanderpump Villa at all. Where are they? I gotta be honest. I gave it a shot and I shut it off. Yeah. But are they... Is it in the US? I'm not... Honestly, I seriously barely paid attention and I shut it off. So I really don't know. I just remember when they sent those contestants to the Bachelor finale. Yeah.

Yes, they did. And then they were like, these are the people from Vanderpump Villa. Yes. And I was like, what? Yes. Yeah. Apparently Stassi is going to be on there. And then she's also maybe going to have a Hulu. Oh, at a French Chateau. A Hulu show Stassi says. Yeah. Interesting. So I guess she's going to spend some time in France.

Back with Lisa Vanderpump. Yeah. At a French Chateau, staff members strive to provide luxurious Vanderpump curated experiences for guests while dealing with rivalries, romances, and misadventures that come from living and working together 24-7. My question is, do you think the Vanderpump experience is as extravagant as they try to make it seem? Because I feel like

Reality TV still has a negative vibe around it in terms of being seen as trashy sometimes. So is Vanderpump that extravagant? You know?

In, like, what do you mean? Like, they're saying, like, yeah, like them learning, like, the Vanderpump ways in the Vanderpump Villa. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. You know what I'm saying? Yes. No, I get what you're saying. But I think it's more like the Lisa Vanderpump posh British way. Yeah, the Lisa Vanderpump way. Yes. And obviously you can stay at the Vanderpump Villa in the south of France. Chateau Saint-Joseph. Can accommodate up to 15 people.

There's multiple cottages. Offers a multi-bedroom cottage on the property. And it's approximately $1,100 per night. I mean, that's a lot. That is a lot. It's a lot. It better be superb. Yeah. That's how much they're charging. It's also kind of like hotel vibes. Yeah.

Because then it says those looking for a more intimate experience can opt for one of the smaller 12 rooms and suites, each with its own unique charm. The most luxurious option is the Chambre Toulouse. I'm probably saying that wrong. Featuring a gold bathtub and park views priced at around $386 per night. Okay, so there's different levels. Yeah, different levels, different levels. I think you can like rent the whole place.

Or like one of the full cottages. Or then there's like other little spots as well. So interesting. That's like Sassy coming back and doing her own show made sense to me. Her joining Vanderpump Villa.

I was kind of like, huh, that one surprised me more. Yeah, because I just never thought I would see Lisa Vanderpump and Stassi back together at any point. So that'll be interesting. Mamma Mia 3 seems to be like maybe in the works. Maybe. I love this response. Apparently there's a plan in place. So Christine, and I mean, she's iconic and this is bad. Baranski?

I understand like the last name. Yeah. Like, you know, you know what she looks like. Every time I look at that name, I'm like Christine Baranski. But is it like is it is a different emphasis? Right. On different. But she was interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter. And the last question was, what do you know about Mamma Mia 3?

And she said, I was in London with producer Judy Kramer at our favorite watering hole. She is planning Mamma Mia 3. She gave me the narrative plot line of how it's going to happen. That's all I can say. But it's not like, oh, I wish it could happen. Judy Kramer makes things happen. She made number two happen and it was a phenomenal hit. I wouldn't put it past Judy Kramer to get everybody back together.

So not like 100%, but it sounds like Christine has a lot of faith in the producer. And if the producer is working on it, then she's going to,

see it all the way through it kind of seems like that's what what she's trying to say yeah and i and she said like she hopes that they're in croatia or in greece and a beautiful island having fun and yeah so i think they're like who wouldn't sign up for that exactly i think everybody in that cast like always says how much fun they have making those movies because once again like you said they're just like on these beautiful islands somewhere filming singing and you

singing and being on a beautiful like island in the summer and beautiful weather and making a movie that they're like yeah we'll go back to do that again right why wouldn't you want to spend your summer in croatia filming a wonderful movie yeah filled with beautiful tunes yeah exactly so i hope that they i hope that they figure that one out yeah i mean it'll probably be a while yeah it's just if the plan is just a certain point they're gonna have to just do some songs over again right maybe it'll be next summer there's only so many songs to choose from mm-hmm

I'd be okay with that. That's fine. Yeah. I think that's completely okay. Maybe next summer. We'll see. All right. Let's talk about The Bachelor. Shouldn't we? The Bachelorette. The MMA event of the year, Battle of the Giants, is coming up fast. Lineal heavyweight world champion Francis Ngannou makes his return to the cage versus Hanan Ferreira. Women's MMA GOAT Chris Cyborg takes on 2023 PFL champ Larissa Pacheco.

Johnny Ebelin goes toe-to-toe with Fabian Edwards with the Bellator middleweight title on the line. Battle of the Giants and Ganu vs. Fajera goes down Saturday, October 19th at 4 p.m. Eastern Time on ESPN Plus Pay-Per-View.

Another episode of The Bachelorette. Now, let me just say, this man, Sam, thank God. Yeah, that was tough. Thank God. That was a tough watch. Thank God he is off the show. What a struggle for him to speak words. Holy fuck. Yeah. I was getting like Luke P vibes from Hannah Brown season. Yeah. In just the terms of like, are you a real human being with the things you are saying? The radio room, I keep seeing this.

I was like kind of like I was watching, but I was kind of like tuned out a little bit. Like I'm going to be honest, like, you know, I'm watching The Bachelorette, but I'm on my phone at the same time. You know, like I'm in and out. And when they were in the radio room,

I thought that this was some sort of prank show that they were doing. I literally saw the memes online of the Impractical Jokers being like, okay, now tell her that you thought it was going to be Daisy and Maria season. Because when I heard that, I was like, this is a real thing this guy is saying right now. It really wasn't brought up again, which I kind of thought was wild. I was like, how did he just drop that?

that and get away with it I don't know how Jen didn't stop him in that very moment and go goodbye I actually think I would leave the show as a whole like I think I would be like that's it for me I'm wrapping it up and I'm going home because I these guys are not it at all and also if this guy right here is telling me he thought it was going to be Daisy or Maria then everybody else here probably thought it was going to be Daisy and Maria and I don't believe that any of them like me and I'm out of here

Goodbye. See you later. I'm done. Right. Well, that's why I feel like she has been so specific and deliberate with her words and trying to get these guys to really show her what it is about her that they like specific things to show that they are actually paying attention and like her for her. And he could not...

He couldn't deliver one thing. He couldn't name one thing. He could have just said, I love you. He tried to start kissing her. He said, I love you. I love you. But it's like, just even him being like, why do you love me? He was like, oh. He couldn't name one thing. He could have just said, your laugh, your eyes, your hair, your smile. Your sense of humor. He could have named...

One thing. And he couldn't name. He just kept talking about himself. A single thing. His journey. He just wants love. He wants a ferocious love. I'm going to keep the main thing, the main thing. And he kept saying like, you're selfless. And she kept being like, how do you know I'm selfless? Yeah. And he was like, well, either you're selfless or you're full of shit. And I was like...

what like i thought he was just throwing out words that he heard once that were good to be used in relationships and was like oh selfless that's a good one i'm gonna tell her she's selfless and like if you if someone were like i think that is a nice compliment to be like well you're a really selfless person like you would do anything for anyone yeah that's beautiful yeah but like that that isn't necessarily something you are learning in that time span in that short amount of time like

that's like a trait that you begin to learn about somebody as you see them interact with their friends and family and people around them like she was like how do you know i'm selfless which i thought was hilarious and great by her to be like how do you know that like totally he could have been like your sense of humor like you know the conversations we had like he couldn't name she was like give me one fucking example he couldn't name anything he just i love you yeah what

What do you mean? And then even afterwards, that, like, when she went to confront him, and he was like, I just, like, can't.

Like express my feelings. Like I was just like, oh my God, God, just go home. And then when he started, he started crying. I was like, this isn't the moment for that. It really, it really wasn't. I'm glad she saw the red flags eventually because they were there from the beginning. It just took her a little while to,

to see it all. But once again, like she was very aware that like they had a strong physical connection that probably blinded her a little bit. And then when that, when she started connecting emotionally with some of the other guys, it's like, okay, well now I want this with Sam and he just could not do it. No, he couldn't at all. Like, thank God. Thank God. She got him off. And it's like, he kept like dropping thing. Like he kept dropping statements and,

that should have been followed up with like, but, and then a compliment, and then not, but not. Like it was like, you know, when it came out of the limbo, like, you know, you weren't, I'm pretty sure he was like, you're not my normal type. And then it wasn't like, but, I think you're, like it was like, you're not my normal type. It was like, oh. Like what, in that moment I would have been like, see ya. Yeah. Goodbye. So not,

That was, you know, for the best that she got rid of him for sure. She had two one-on-one dates as well.

That one was completely Wicked themed. The cross promo is alive and well. It was heavy. Because we are going to see so much Wicked promo in the next few months. It was heavy. It's already a lot. And it's August. And the movie comes out in November. The way that Jesse Palmer was hitting those ads. Oh, in his green velvet suit. It was crazy. And like bringing Daisy and Kelsey in their pink and green dresses. And just the whole...

The whole thing. But she went on that date with Marcus and everything seems to be going well for her and Marcus on the show. Things are not going great for Marcus outside of the show. Really, from what we've seen on social media and from what has supposedly been verified online.

It really sounds like Marcus is not a good guy in real life. No. Honestly, I've seen some horrific things on TikTok. Yeah. A lot of allegations against Marcus. Past relationships. Yeah. Honestly, really bad. Yeah. Yeah.

If you're interested, you know, I would... You could search it on TikTok. I think there's multiple TikToks about it now. Yeah. And I feel so awful for all the women that have dealt with Marcus in the past and have now had to watch him on their TV screens. And they're probably... And get, like, such a great... He's getting, like, such a great edit. And they're probably so frustrated. It's just...

How time and time again these people end up on this show? I don't know. Like...

Continuously with The Bachelor and Bachelorette. Yeah. This happens. Once it happens this many times, right, it's just clear as day that casting just doesn't care. Like, I think casting thinks it's maybe good in some twisted way. That would be fucking crazy. No, I know. Because it's not good. It's awful. No, I know. It's fucking awful. And to let these people, like, have a chance at, like, falling in love with the lead and potentially hurting a lead, like, having that happen is...

I don't know but it happens like all the time which is why I'm like so crazy yeah I don't know I really I really don't know so it seems like maybe in the next episode he could potentially struggle to like open up it sounds like he maybe like likes her but I don't know if it I think he's afraid of it going like any further than that it seems at this point but

I just feel bad for Jen. I think she kind of got the short end of the stick here. For sure. And the guys are not great. I don't think she has a great connection, really, with any of them. I think she likes them. I think they're good guys. Like, some of these, not Marcus, but, like, the ones that now are at the end seem like good guys. But there's no, like, spark. There's no passion. I see no spark or passion. Yeah. Like, I'm like, what is she going to get engaged to –

Devin or Jeremy or I just don't see it I don't know yeah neither do I I mean there's a possibility she doesn't get engaged to any of them we don't know by the end of the season we'll see funny enough it's come around where I think Devin is the one that likes her the most

It's just a very, I think the pick of the guys this season has been very poor. And I think it's setting up for a not fantastic season. And I feel bad for Jen because this has nothing to do with her. She seems like a great person. And I feel like she got stuck with the fucking shit end of the stick with these men. I know. And it puts them in a bad position too because now we're going into hometowns and it just doesn't feel like anything is...

I don't know. It just doesn't really feel like anything's that serious. I don't know how we're in hometowns. I don't know either. And it also feels like some of the guys, I could see some of these guys leaving. Like I could see some of these guys like getting past hometowns and being like, oh, all right. I don't know about this one. And that's, and they like have to take themselves out of it or something. I don't know. We'll see what happens. But it sucks because when casting does a shit job like this sometimes, and there's not like some great standout characters, it sucks.

It's a snowball effect where then it like the next season's not that great. Like, and you know, they announced a new back, they announced a new bachelor. Um, yeah, no offense to grant. Like he seems great. Um, but it's kind of one of those things where I think the bat, like they're trying to fix the mistake that they made with Jen season where they had such a quick turnaround and,

And they had a cast already locked in regardless of who the Bachelorette was. And so now they announced Grant super early and they're saying, if you like Grant, apply to be on the show. They're really trying to get people who want to be with Grant, which is a good thing. But at the same time, announcing it like this for a guy that went home pre-Hometowns, all these things, you're just kind of like,

oh it's not and it didn't have like a big moment like they just did it online at the end of the episode right they didn't even announce it on the show yeah um yeah because grant went home so it was like grant goes home and now on there on the all the social accounts they're like well grant's the new bachelor yeah and usually there's some big announcement um and there wasn't which was strange but at the same time they're they want to like do the right casting yeah and yeah

I don't know. I mean, Grant seems like a nice guy. He does. You know, people don't know much about him and it's always great to learn about new people. But I think people were just confused by the lack of announcement, like the kind of just like very subtle announcement on social media. And it also just was like, bam, all of a sudden, a couple hours before the episode came on, it was like, we're announcing the next Bachelor tonight. It was like, whoa, OK. It seemed like they kind of just threw it together. Yeah. Like, boom, next Bachelor. We're just going to get this out there. Yeah. Yeah.

So maybe they'll do sort of what they've done in the past where they will like have him come on stage at the, after the final rose. Right. Right. And then they'll have like the girls, the girls. Yeah. They'll do that. Um,

which they have done before so we'll see yep we'll see what happens but thank god sam's gone because that was bad that was tough to watch bad news totally i'm glad he didn't make it to hometowns yeah and i really sniffed it out right at the beginning i looked at jen on this couch and i was like you're giving sam the first impression rose you did and i was like oh i don't want to watch your face just in case but i will say i really hope marcus doesn't make it far because i'm like

I know. I know. I know. Like if Marcus makes it to the end and then. I don't know. That's just. It's bad. Yeah. It's really bad. Not good. So I guess we'll see what happens. It's definitely. Yeah. That's just like. Then you're just like failing the lead. Yeah. For sure. I think they failed Jen. Yeah. For sure on this one.

Okay, it's High School Musical 2 time.

There we go. There it is. The perfect moment for it right there. It's officially High School Musical 2 time. We watched High School Musical 2 last night and

And I was so excited to talk about this one. Like super giddy watching, of course, and super giddy writing down my notes. So let's get started. I wrote down a lot more notes for this one than the first one. And not bad, just how much I fucking love this movie. It was hard to like not just say how much I love it. But I worded it in different ways multiple times. Yeah. Okay, so I'll start off.

Having the two look like a pool of water is absolutely genius. The High School Musical 2. Oh, yeah. I did not pick that up. The two being blue and it's water. Genius. You didn't pick that up? I didn't pick that up. That was an artistic vision I would think you would like. I just made a note to myself being like, oh, I like that. That's good font. I like how it looks. I didn't notice it was a pool. Yeah, it's perfect. Genius. Genius.

Zac Efron's eyes became even bluer in this movie. Yeah, it's the darker hair. Natural beauty or camera enhancement? I think a little bit of both. I wrote that. Natural beauty or camera enhancement. His eyes in this movie? No, they're sparkling. My God. You know how I always bring up how all their blue eyes are sparkling so much in the movie This Means War? It's like Reese Witherspoon and Chris Pine and Tom Hardy and their eyes look extra blue.

Zach's eyes look extra blue. This entire movie, they're insanely blue. Well, he has that darker hue of his hair. Yeah, and he has a tan going on. And the colors that they put him in, that orange shirt in Fabulous, I didn't write that down because I thought I was starting to have too many notes about Zach Efron that I had to leave some off. The orange shirt specifically that he wears when he is first seen after Fabulous, probably

good wardrobe like he had that shirt with the it's a white shirt but red arms excuse me that's my next note yeah costume department crushed the looks for this movie oh yeah like the baseball shirt yeah yeah the baseball I was like I would wear that every person's wardrobe was fantastic this movie costume department crushed it they nailed it they really did

I will never forget voting for Chad's shirt at Miley Cyrus' cameo endlessly on DisneyChannel.com. Meanwhile, they probably already filmed the movie. Like, the voting was probably fake. Wait, you voted for her cameo? Yeah, so on DisneyChannel.com, they put, like, vote for Chad's shirt, and they give you options. The one that says, I majored in vacation in the first scene. And then at the end, when there's the Miley Cyrus cameo, it was like, who do you want to see as a cameo? And you vote for him. Who are the other options to remember?

I don't remember. I just know that I remember voting for these two things. So yeah, the come on from Zach in the beginning. Just that. No. Yeah. Look, it's how much more can we say? When he drops the ball and he's like, come

But each movie, you know. And I was a little bit, not older, like I was still in middle school, but I was older than what I was when the first one came out. So it was like a little bit more for me, for where Zach got from. Was Sharpay the only one who was allowed to paint her locker? Oh my God, you weren't like fourth grade, no? Fifth grade? This movie came out, I was in seventh grade.

High School Musical 2? Yeah. No, yeah. I'm saying the first one when it came out, I was a little bit younger. Yes, yes, yes, yes. And I still, I think, had my sights on Dylan Sprouse. Right, right, right. And then High School Musical 2, I think I really took a liking to Zac Efron. Zac Efron, yeah. Who could blame you? Yeah. Was Sharpay the only one who was allowed to paint her locker? Would they all if they could have? I had the same thought. You know? Hers is hot pink. Yeah. Everybody else is just plain beige. Yeah.

Why? She was the exception to the rule for many things. Mr. Fulton's relationship with Sharpay. Kind of weird. It's fair. He's like all up in her space, like in her ear, like behind her neck and stuff. And she's like, I don't know. I didn't like it. Yeah. And they do mention. He's scared of her. The boss is such a creep. Yeah. Didn't work this out. Had absolutely no idea Bevan from One Tree Hill was one of Sharpay's cronies. What? Bevan from One Tree Hill. Yes.

Oh, I was looking at those girls. I never... One of them... I didn't look close enough. One of them is Bevan. Damn. Yeah. Did not realize that. Sharpay floating in the drink with the ice cubes. Another genius move by Kenny Ortega. Yeah. Mm-hmm.

Then I just have worked this out. Absolutely incredible. Like this is what I mean. Like I just was like loving all of it. So I had to write it down. Capital letters. The chemistry between Zach and Vanessa is insane. When they're clocking in to work, swiping the cards and he and he comes behind her and, you know, swipes in. I'm like, that's real life chemistry. That's not movie chemistry. Because they were. It was real. Right. That's what I'm saying. That's real life between Zach and Vanessa.

I actually watched this movie and then spent 20 minutes reading a full L article of a breakdown of their entire relationship. Yeah, been there. Timeline, receipts, pictures. Been there. I just like missed. I just wanted to. I was like, honestly, I just Googled pictures of them because I just wanted to look at pictures of them. Of when they were dating. Yeah. Yeah. And then I just read their whole timeline of relationships.

of their relationship and it really did make a difference that they were together throughout but they had immediate chemistry that's what they talked about when they auditioned they got paired together and you know instant wait were they together in all three movies yeah really they were together from like 2005 to like 2000 like early 2011

maybe that's what was keeping them together or late 2010 and then she went straight into her relationship with austin butler i don't think i realized how fast it was and zach was really going through a lot and austin butler like bad things austin butler and zack have fondated i mean sorry austin butler and vanessa hudson's dated for so long he won't tell you that no he won't that's he she was just a friend yeah um

The scream after the dinner with Sharpay and her family was so relatable. He wanted to get away from those freakazoids. Like he just like had a moment where he just screamed. It was like, what the fuck am I doing with these people? Yeah. Absolutely love how Chad called out Troy for saying not how they roll. Yeah. Because it was like, why are you talking like that? Why are you talking like that? Yeah. Troy, I'm sorry.

I forgot how much I loved the friendship between Gabriella and Ryan. Yeah. I still use her mom makes the best brownies. I know. Yeah. Meme often. Like I've sent that to you. I've sent, I've sent that to so many people about certain things. I still use it. Chad's been dancing the whole movie. When will he accept that he is also a dancer? I don't dance, but he certainly dances. He's been dancing both movies. Yeah. The man loves to dance. When will you accept you're a dancer?

If High School Musical came out today, Zac Efron would be as big as Taylor Swift in terms of not being able to go anywhere without getting absolutely swarmed. Because he's the best leading man that's been put into one of these movies. Yeah. You know, think about the movies that come out today. But this is the thing. I think he was when they were out, you know? But social media wasn't like it is now. Yeah, I know. It's a different thing, social media. Like the paparazzi maybe knew where he was, but we all didn't know where he was. Yeah. And if we did...

would all act right if i don't think zach and vanessa would have dated for as long as they did that's for sure like it's crazy that they found him and casted him in the exact ephron have been cast in lala land instead of ryan gossing no the different don't get into this conversation with me i'm just talking about in terms of like teen like young adult movies and like like to all the to all the boys i loved before you know what i mean like if zach ephron was in it like right right it's just whoa

Time and place. Gotta Go My Own Way was so powerful. Almost too powerful for its time. It was a very mature song. It was. You know? She was standing on business. What about us? What about trust? I can probably watch a 24-hour stream of Bet On It on replay. Easily. The water slap was the exact thing we needed to set the tone of the change of the movie that was about to happen to Zach. Yeah.

It's what we need for him to slap himself in the face and say, you better get your shit together and tell Sharpay enough of this. Enough of this. You better help your friends. Sharpay's outfits were incredible in this movie, but even better is Troy and Gabriella in the white everyday outfits with the clouds in the background. Full chills. Why am I full blown crying with chills when they grab hands? I fucking love them. I know. Is the lesson here that more onscreen couples need to date in real life? A good takeaway. Yeah.

And then my last. And just admit it. Just embrace it. Just embrace it because then you're going to get chemistry like this. The product is better. The product will be better. Yes. And we'll be talking about you 20 years from when you were released because of this. Yeah. Insert pic of me crying because I have nothing else to say. And then I inserted a picture of my crying because I didn't have any more notes at that point. It just was like, what else am I supposed to say about this beautiful film besides me tearing up? Yeah. Those are my notes.

I'm not gonna lie, I also got a little emotional at the end of this movie because it's like... It just makes me so nostalgic because we're just... We're never gonna... Like, we're older now and we're never gonna experience that experience again of watching this movie. Shut up. Like, it made me emotional thinking about it. I was like... You shut your mouth. You can still watch it, but, like, the time...

of when this came out that it just gets me. I'm like, you know, I just, oh, to be young again. Right. And fall in love with these two on screen. And be like, oh my God, like you're finding out what love is for the first time through High School Musical. It really shaped us. No, it did because we are lovers at heart. Yeah. We love love. And I truly believe a lot of that stemmed from this movie. Like I really think Troy and Gabriella to me was like,

I need that love in my life. Troy was the gold standard. Okay. Except when he was forgetting missing dates, like Taylor said. Yeah, yeah, but he comes around. He does. He does.

Zach's dark hair change really made his eyes pop. That was also my first note. How do you not note his blue eyes? Did you note his blue eyes? No. Do you have a note? No. I actually didn't notice his eyes. Oh, my God. I didn't notice their piercings. If you had asked me right now before these notes what color is his eyes, I would probably say brown. Oh, my God.

Oh my god. You're missing out. My lord. Watch it again. Jeez. I said they look so much older between one and two, which is so funny. They look like such babies in High School Musical. And then it's not like they filmed High School Musical 2 that much later. Yeah, they did grow. But they're growing up. They're growing up. And then I said, thank god they let Zach sing himself. It's such a game changer. Sounds better. He's got a great voice. What do you think Drew Sealy, they were like, we don't need you anymore.

No, Zach, like, Zach says that he fought to be able to sing on his own. Like, he pushed that he wanted to sing on his own without the help of... Well, Drew Sealy, he went to do another Cinderella story with Selena Gomez. And, you know, it didn't really take off. Drew Sealy did go on the first, the High School Musical tour, though, my first concert ever, was Drew Sealy and not Zac Efron.

Zach was already too big. He was doing hairspray. Yeah, he was already too big. Well, that's why when I was going through the timeline of their relationship, Vanessa was with him through Hairspray, Seventeen again, Charlie's Saying Cloud, a lot of those movies he was doing right after. Okay.

Same page. Remember when we got to pick Chad's t-shirts. Yep. And then I said summer took on a lot of different meanings for a lot of like summer was so important to them. And sometimes it was like Gabrielle wanted the best summer. Troy just summer would only, you know, just want to be together. A lot of different meanings. Mm hmm.

Lava Springs really had some Barbie elements to it. Like Lava Springs kind of looks like the Barbie movie a little like fake worlds. And obviously Sharpay and everything pink really helps to it like the car and everything. There is an absolutely hilarious stunt double that they use for Gabriella when she dives into the pool. And I took a picture. Yeah, it's on. I took a picture of her because Sharpay falls into the pool and

And it's like Gabriella's supposed to be diving into the pool It's just not Gabriella And it's just the front like who is that Yeah it's crazy Who is that person It's not Gabriella It's not Vanessa Hutchins it's just a completely different lady Stunt double Apparently Gabriella couldn't do a dive Vanessa Hutchins couldn't A dive too much for her Could not do it They couldn't have their star getting hurt Oh my god

and then i had a lot of notes about i was like okay zeke still loved sharpay kind of you know he was still trying they why did that never happen because sharpay was she had yeah you know yeah she was trying to cut myself off choreography is unmatched in this movie especially for troy like the work it out choreography in the kitchen is also so good so good some of the mo like oh god it's just so good

Forgot about all the anticipation for a kiss. Like, I remember sitting on my couch and just, they were really banking on the pent-up frustration of the young kids. Because I would be like, key! Right, like, you still think, like, we haven't seen them kiss. Oh, I was thinking, I'm like, oh, maybe they didn't let them because it was like a teenager. Yeah, I mean, it was a Disney Channel original movie. Disney Channel original movie, but they had fucking Troy's shirt off in a six-pack out running around playing basketball. True, true, true.

Then I said the smile on my face when Troy and Gabriella sing together. This is the first sit down at the piano. $40 to caddy. Didn't seem like that much for what I know about being on a golf for caddying. I feel like caddies are always bragging about how much money they make.

Did they say, like, and tips, maybe? No. Just said $40. Maybe this was years ago. I also love that they just throw in that Troy played on the golf team. It was like, Dad, Troy's also on the golf team. Right. Is he? What do you mean? Is it just because they decided this movie was going to be on a golf course that Troy has to be good at golf? What do you mean Troy golfs, plays basketball, and sings and acts? Triple threat. Seriously.

Huma Huma is a real fever dream. That's a real fever dream performance. Yeah. They had those on the sing-alongs. Yes. Yes, they did. And we needed it. My favorite line of this movie, always and forever, Gabriella, you're a crazy wildcat. Oh, that's the best. I think he like jumps at the pool. Yeah.

Another it's closed practice line Can't believe they ran that back Two movies in a row to throw out of Ruthless While it's closed practice They knew how hard it hit the first time Yeah

Troy dancing with Sharpay, instant giggles. I would rewind this scene when they do the ramped up version of You Are the Music in Me because he does like the move with the mic stand. Oh, it's so good. And it's like, it feels like they press a button and he's like doing things because his face is like, I don't know what I'm doing, but he's still doing it. Then he hits that falsetto and it's like, whoa. We're not here for a falsetto. Whoa. Oh, Troy with the falsetto.

You always know when Troy's going through it because he can't hit a basketball shot. Anytime he's mentally going through it, he's out there on the court, he's missing every shot. Gabriella really put Sharpay in check when she came out and yelled at her. Was like...

She really, right before her big moment. Gabriela was having none of Sharpay's shit ever. No, she really wasn't. Okay, I have a different opinion on this, but I'll save it for my next. Oh, you know, I really felt like Gabriela was so confident and was like, Sharpay can do whatever. Like, she's Sharpay. I'm unbothered. In the first and second movie, she was like, fuck off. Yeah, very unbothered. Knowing Zach basically freestyled Bet On It just makes it so much better. Mm-hmm.

Rewatching it and just knowing that they didn't have set choreography and Zach just ran around the golf course pounding the ground and the air. And all the little movements when he'd tell a lie and then he goes like this. He has one flick. It's the punch and the flick. Punches, flick. And this one when he's walking. The best is this. Yeah. Oh God, there's so many good ones. I also just wrote the reflection splash. Every day is the best song of the series.

you think of the entire series yep my number one i like that pick i just i i love too many to make a pick i know goosebumps every time the wildcats join in when when everybody jumps into the song i i should have like full-blown goosebumps this is when i started to get emotional as well yeah um okay sharpay is with zeke at the end holding hands it's just like they have their moment at the end of the movie both movies and then it's just nothing it

never addressed in the movies it's just the end of the movie he's picking her up throwing her around they're holding hands at the end it's like sharpay only goes to him when she knows that troy wants nothing to do with her anymore yeah yep uh vividly remember cheering on my couch when they finally kiss miley cameo seals the seals the deal as the best as this being the best one um

And the bloopers. I was obsessed with the bloopers. When the bloopers came on the first time, I remember being like, oh my God, they gave us bloopers. And I probably like would watch that on repeat. Just the, and it's like 30 seconds of bloopers, but just the bloopers because the one and me and me and Claire, I'll never, we would always quote just when he's like, put it in

And he's like pushing. It is. Putting it on the golf cart. Yeah, man. Those were some good bloopers. And you're just like, oh my God, like I'm part of them. You know, with the bloopers. It felt more real. You just felt their energy with the bloopers because you were like, oh, they're having just as much fun as I am watching. Right. We're all enjoying it. But yeah, I mean, it's just a beautiful film. Amazing movie, top to bottom. It really is.

Okay. My first note was just, why did Chad kiss Miss Darbus? Did you notice that? Yeah, he does kiss Miss Darbus. He's excited. It's summer. All right. It's summer. A little weird, but... Yeah. No, don't kiss your teachers. Definitely don't. No better feeling than the last day of school. That was just like a thought. I'm like, wow. Like...

If we were to break out into musical in my school or any school, that is what it would look like. Right. It would be the last day of summer. I mean, last day of school. Tia's and Troy's is just like a hilarious line to me. It's like, yeah, Gabriella, what else would it be for? Yeah.

Troy's dad wishes he was in high school so bad. He brought his hair a little bit longer for this one. He's more like a cool guy dad. Troy and his friends were just in the kitchen and the dad is hanging out with him as if he's on the team. Does he not have anything else going on? Coach Bolton. Gotta have the mom bringing the groceries.

I was like this same scene I was like Troy's mom just appears in this movie now like she wasn't in the first movie no she was just like oh she was in the first movie she is in the first scene when she said she's like really she's like it's her last day of vacation she only has one scene in both movies that's crazy to me yeah uh

I said, okay, so now they're in Lava Springs. They're really doing everything but working. Like, at every moment. Like, they're, like, having picnics. They're, like, dancing, whatever. Also, I'm like, they're just letting all these kids, like... I didn't see, like, anyone actually at this resort, like, outside of, like, the main cast, but I'm like...

Is it just these kids cooking like all these meals? Right. Why are the high school kids working in the kitchen cooking the meals? It's a country club. No, I know. But it's like at one point, Zach's dad is like, how's the food? He's like, it's amazing. It's like, is it? Right. No, you're so right. Like, are they having high school kids cook at country clubs?

Like with no experience? At the pool, yeah. In real life? Yeah. At country clubs they're having? There has to be like a real chef. At the snack bar? Yeah, okay. Snack bar, they're not cooking the food. Yeah, but they could be putting hamburgers on the grill. Okay, but snack bar is different than a restaurant, fine dining restaurant. Oh, I mean, they're not like making dinner and

the dining room. That's what it seemed like. They're in the kitchen of the restaurant. True. Well, Zeke is assisting the chef. Yeah. They do mention a chef. I know, but it was all of them in there. Yeah. The kitchen was the hangout room. In the kitchen of the restaurant. It was like 99% kids in the kitchen. Yeah.

This is when I was like, Gabriella should be way more pissed she's being walked all over by everyone. I don't think she... No, I think Gabriella's kind of just like, whatever. No, she can try to pretend to be whatever, but in reality... But I don't think she was pretending. She was unbothered. She was like, I trust Troy. But then where did that get her? Where did that get her? Then they kind of had a falling out because of that. Yeah, but she wasn't going to sit there and beg him. Yeah. Yeah, but at some point, you have to stand up for yourself.

She did. She put Sharpay right in her place. Even after Zach. And to Troy, she said, I got to go my own way. No, but when Troy was like, first of all, he was late to that date. Then he went back and got stuck again. Then he came back. He must have been hours late to this date. And she was just like, hey. Didn't care. No, but she started ignoring his phone calls. She was hanging out with Ryan. His mom was making her brownies. Yeah. Yeah.

There was a scene where Troy and Gabriella... This is right before Troy gets into the van with all the cool guys or whatever. The college kids. The college kids. All the cool guys. The Redhawks. Yeah. The University of Albuquerque Redhawks. The basketball hoop that Troy and Gabriella were shooting on was at least 15 feet high. I don't know if anyone else... Go back and watch that scene. You're saying it was too high? It was so high. Like...

It was ridiculous. I'm like, yeah, anyways, that was just like a weird thing that I noticed. I thought the Ryan versus Chad baseball bat thing was just so funny where they did the... Yep. Hey, bat a bat. Hey, bat a bat a swing. That might be my favorite song, honestly, out of this. Well, no, depending on it, obviously. Just do my thing. Ryan being like on the good guy's side feels, just felt right. Yeah, he's meant to be on that side. Yeah.

Not like I don't think even toward the end when Sharpay like was like now like good I guess kind of like at the very end. Sharpay has a redemption at the end of every movie. But still it felt like fake. I'm like you don't know you're just doing this like oh like give the award to my brother. Yeah. I was like how dare Ryan bring up Gabrielle's mom's brownies. That was so I know I know they're good. I've had them. I've had them. That's my favorite. And also yeah I guess I don't want to get into that but um

been on it like the peak of musicals like i honestly i've said this before but like i list i used to listen to that like unironically yeah like just to pump you out yeah yeah um how did troy memorize an entire new song in seconds i mean he can do it all really they were like there's a new song he's like there's a new song yeah and then the next five seconds later he's singing this is a great teacher he's so talented

And then I just had Miley! When I saw her. Yep. Because I was like, oh, wait, this was a trivia question. Isn't she in the scene? And then she popped up for like a second. That must have been a fun day on set. Just like... When Miley came in. Miley just came on like, hey, just dance in the background. Yeah. Also, just like all the... I was just watching all those kids like in the pool. Like all they had to do was just like have fun. There's also a very funny moment where the movie's ending and it's like fading to black. Yeah.

And Zach and Vanessa are like in the pool and they're just like going like, woo, like, yeah. And there's just like all these little kids around them. But then it also looks like there's a split second where Vanessa Hutchins is like, all right, I'm fucking done with this. Like she looked like, kind of almost looked like she was drowning. Like she was like,

made a face where that looked like I'm not having fun. Yeah, all right, cut, cut. We've been in the pool for too long. Yeah, it was like, get me out of here. That's my notes, yeah. That's the last note, end of it, Miley. That's a strong last note, Miley, exclamation point. I think the choreography for Offer One was also one of my favorites. It's like to do, personally, like to try and learn. Yeah, I mean, the choreography in this movie is insane as well as the costumes. They really stepped it up for the second movie. Sharpay's last day of school outfit, I...

still think about. Same. The gold. That top. I wanted it so bad. Actually, all of her outfits in this. The headbands, the sunglasses. Gabriella really loved the baby doll look in this one. A lot of baby doll cuts. But Sharpay's outfits were incredible. Her golf outfits were incredible. Yep. So good. An A-plus movie. Like,

Where is my pink Prada tote? This one gets an A+. But why was her turkey being imported from Maine? You know, does Maine have great turkeys? I thought the same thing. I said, is there a good turkey in Maine? Yeah, I was like, why is her turkey being imported from Maine? Maybe it just like fit lyrically. And why are towels coming from Turkey? Yeah, that's true. Because the lifeguards were imported from Spain. I think they just had to pick.

yeah that was solely for driving purposes oh does main have good turkey they got good lobster rolls but do they have good turkey right right right i don't know but a plus movie like this one is my favorite by far i know a lot of people love the third one i'm excited to re-watch the third one because i haven't watched the third one in a while i i probably have only seen the third one

less than a handful of times really i did not love the third one i really really loved the first and the second i won what came out in theaters so it's a much bigger production yeah it's a much bigger i like when you watch it you're like oh this is they made this like a movie yeah and like i saw a disney channel original movie yeah i saw it in theaters i loved a couple of the songs the boys are back like that one was fantastic the cars everything about that um but i i

vividly remember not being obsessed with it in the way that I was the first two. Yeah. So I am excited to watch it again because maybe I have different thoughts. I have not watched it in years. I think I loved the first two so much also because there was like hope for another one. You know? And then the third one I was just sad because it was over. Well I'll tell you why I didn't love the third one.

Because there was new characters. Yeah. And I didn't, I was like, these young kids, I don't care about them. Yeah. The wannabe Sharpay, the wannabe Troy. Right. I was like, I'm not into this. I do feel like because they did make it like a bigger movie. Yeah. They needed to like, it needed more people. Yeah. Just to like help maintain a plot. Because I feel like they just couldn't run it back. Like the same kind of premise. Yeah.

I didn't care for the new characters. I was like, I don't really care about these people. Give me my OG cast because this is going to be the last movie and you're going to give me all these new characters. But I'm excited to watch. I mean, we'll talk about it with the third one. But I did like it in the sense that I felt like it was a good... It was good in the sense of like...

they are they're graduating you know so they had to there's going to be some new some new blood the younger the younger group trying to take over and they're not even close to the original group 90 they don't even fucking touch a sliver of their pinky toe no that's they're not even close um anyways fantastic movie and we'll be watching the third one to talk about for friday

Alright, that wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office. Thank you so much for watching and listening. We love you guys oh so very much. And reminder to watch High School Musical 3 for Friday's episode because we're going to talk about it then. We love you guys so much. See ya. Bye. Toodaloo. ... ... ...
