What's up everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne Fran giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. Happy Monday everybody. Hopefully you had a nice weekend. How are we feeling today, crew? Happy Monday. Tired. I just, I fell into that trap of when you don't have any plans...

And then you just do too much. Cause you were like, Oh, I got a whole free weekend. And then I just stayed up till 4am two nights in a row, like a freak. But there you go though. That's fun. Those New York city nights. I'll never forget those spontaneous nights that just, you know, it's Coachella weekend, but in New York city. Yeah. Nice and quiet here in New York city. Everyone's gone. Everyone's gone. Um,

Maybe just because it was cold. Like, it was, like, cold and raining for four days straight that I was like, fuck it, we're going out. You know, like, we need to... I was like, we have to get out of the apartment. It's insane. It's, like, winter, so... I think we're getting past it, though. Like, I think that was second winter. Yeah. It looks like we're about to break through it a little bit. Who knows? But... It's up and down. It's all around. My God, it was, like, waking up...

What was it? Friday or Saturday morning. It was like 30 degrees. Saturday was snowing. Oh, it was snowing. Saturday was snowing in some parts of New Jersey. I wouldn't know. I woke up at 1 p.m. Oh, my God. When's the last time you woke up at 1 p.m.? No, years. Years. Wow. So you had a great night Friday. Friday night was so gross. This is what happened. I go to meet two of my friends. It was so gross. I went out to a bar.

I go to meet two of my friends for dinner. They were going to an apartment party in Brooklyn. I was like, I'm not going to that. And I was like, well, I'll meet you guys for dinner because they were going to go to dinner near my apartment first. I walk to them. We have dinner. A couple drinks. I go to walk home. It's raining sideways. It's windy. It's cold. I was so...

disgusted by how gross it was I was standing next to the subway station that they were going down I was like fuck it I'm coming to Brooklyn instead of walking the eight blocks to get home you're like I need to get underground and be protected from this weather yeah I was like this weather is so gross fuck it I'm coming to Brooklyn little did I know that

My friends had a full itinerary of... It was not just an apartment party. It was an apartment party that went to one bar and then another bar. And all of a sudden, I'm in a smoked-filled club in Williamsburg. In a rave in Williamsburg. That's just like... And you couldn't see anything in front of you. It was like... I was like... It was...

I've never been in a room with that much smoke. It was just only that. And we had a blast, but we got home super late. I, you know, classic throw on entourage, fell asleep on the couch, woke up at 545, was like, oh, got into bed.

Joe jolts up and I was like, what? He goes, it's 1 p.m. Oh my God. That's like such a scary feeling. It really actually is. It really is a terrifying feeling. It's not nice. No, it's not nice. It's a terrifying feeling. It's really not nice. That's me like every weekend. That's crazy. I haven't done 1 p.m. probably in at least two weeks.

Five plus years. Where I was like, holy shit. And you have like a million messages. Yeah. And people are looking for you. You know what the first thing I saw was, which really was just salt in the wound? An email from...

the accountant about finishing my taxes. Oh, on Saturday. Oh, baby. Yeah. I did my taxes back in January because I didn't want to deal with the April taxes. Yeah, very smart. Right by your wedding, you don't have to deal with that. Yeah, I was like, I'm not dealing with taxes around that time. Yeah, no.

Very smart. And I wish, you know, it is what it is. But seeing that right when I woke up, I was like, oh, no. Oh, my God. That's jarring. You're like, not at one. But you're like, well, maybe I should have gone out last night. Yeah. Well, what is today? Tomorrow. Tomorrow. OK. So, yeah. You're like, that's a Monday problem. Yeah. It's like almost done. Right. But, you know, whatever. I was missing like two things. Yeah. Then he was like, here's your estimated. Mm hmm.

How much you owe? Blah, blah, blah. And I was like, whew. Wonderful to wake up to. Yeah, just really jarring. Really, really jarring. And Joe was cracking me up because he was more rattled than I was. He was like, we got to have lunch. What do you want? I got to go get food. Our meals are thrown off. We need to eat within 10 minutes. We need to eat right now. So yeah, that was my Friday. And then really just threw everything off.

Saturday stayed up late again for no reason because now I'm on a schedule where I slept till 1 p.m. So then you're like, okay, well now Sunday I have to wake up at 1 p.m. Now I will say Sunday night I got into bed at 9.30. It's probably the earliest I have ever gotten to bed. Oh my God. Maybe. I'm shocked. Also in five plus years. Actually more than that. No, I am shocked. You never get into bed early. Clock that one at 10 years. I don't think I've been in bed that early. Both...

Record breaking. Record breaking. Time. Up both ends. Waking up and going to bed. Yeah. Well, I'm glad you got into bed early. Yeah. You want to hear the fun. Literally, I'm in bed. They were, Joe and his buddies were out watching the Masters. And I hear Joe. And then I hear like. You're like, there's people in here. And they didn't even come in. It was Lauren. Oh, my God. She's one of my friends. But they were like. And I just hear Lauren go, sorry, Fran. She's like, we're leaving.

They're like, she's asleep. No, I was like, I, because they, never would they have thought that I would straight up be in bed at like nine o'clock. Yeah, never. I got in bed at nine o'clock and I was like, I'm going to read my book. I'm going to slowly fall asleep. Yeah. It was. That's a good feeling. Yeah, it was nice. Especially after a weekend like that. Yeah, just really snuck up, really snuck up on me. Yeah. Really snuck up on me. Those are the best kind of weekends though. I'm assuming you didn't stay up till 4 a.m. No. No.

No, I didn't. I had some really wonderful dinners this weekend. But I have to be honest. I told Matt a couple weeks ago, I was like, let's not go to dinner a bunch coming up. We have our wedding. Then we're going on our honeymoon. We're going to have a ton of great meals on our honeymoon. We're cooking at home. We're really trying to eat healthy. It's the weekend. No, it was the weekend though. So Friday rolls around and we're like,

That's like the time it is to go. Yeah. You know, we just have a spot that we always go to near us and we were like, should we go? They have such good dirty martinis too. I actually, I post that on my story. So we went Friday night and then we had already had plans with Matt's brother and sister-in-law to go to dinner on Saturday. So that dinner was just delicious as well. There you go. Classic steakhouse was just unbelievable. And I clocked.

so much TV. Like I'm so excited for Weekly Watch Report because it's probably the most TV I have watched. You guys are going to be floored. It's the most TV I've watched in a long time. Friday, Friday we were texting because I was like, I've watched it. I don't have anything else to watch. Well, let me just say on Friday,

So Matt was doing the mini golf competition in Chicago. Yeah. At the, in the Barstow office, Chicago, they won huge. He was on the winning team. And so he didn't get home till Friday. I want to say like 4. PM. I did not get out of my bed until 4. PM. Like Friday. I laid in bed.

a disgusting amount. And you know when that stench starts to hit when you've been laying in bed for a really long time? I could feel it permeating off of me. I was like, oh my God, I need to get up, go to the gym, take a deep shower. And that's why I was like, all right, we have to go to dinner because I need to get out. A reason to get out. I need to get out right now. This has to happen.

But no, just some really good food and some really good TV. Casual weekend. I had that. Chris watched a lot too. I know. We were laughing because rarely do I... It's not necessarily Coachella FOMO, but I just consume so much content from people at Coachella that...

I'm like, damn, I do just kind of want to go dance with my friends. Yeah. Not necessarily even at Coachella. Like...

Doing my makeup Saturday, I had a dance playlist on and I just... Joe came in the bathroom. He's like, are you good? Because I'm just like blasting levels. You're just trying to get a co-telemark. I'm the speaker as loud as I could while I did my makeup. He's like, what are you... You trying to transport yourself? I was like, kind of. Like, this is taking me back. I was like, I see people out there telling it, want to go back into my rave days. It just... You feel it through the phone. My friends were so mad at me. I was supposed to go to Long Island to hang out with them on Friday night. And then...

Kind of the whole week I had told them the whole week, like, I don't think it's happening.

happening yeah I don't think I'm coming like it's gonna be pouring rain I don't feel like driving a Long Island like I got a lot of shit to get done well like I have our things done but you know I'm in that phase of like but it's the perfect time to have the excuse of like I have shit done right and even if you don't you can be like my wedding's 10 days away I think I have stuff to do I'm busy even though then you sit down and you're like I actually have nothing to do because at dinner me and Matt were like alright what else do we have to do we were like nothing cheers yeah

let's have a good night. But I posted the dirty martini on my story. Oh, they were like, and they were like, what the fuck? And I literally, I had to send a picture of what, like literally what I looked like with Matt at dinner being like, I promise I'm just down the block from my apartment. Like, look at what I look like. I had no makeup on a hat, like a huge sweatshirt. I was like, I promise I'm not out. Like they thought I like went out and was like, fuck you guys. Like that did not happen. Um, but they, but they understood. They, they, they understood. Um,

But I feel you with the Coachella. Like, I've actually never wanted to go to Coachella until this year for some reason. I will say, I felt like this year, everyone just really seemed like they were having a great time. It seemed like they were having a fantastic time. Which I'm so happy for everybody. I agree. Like, I've never felt, like, more so in recent years, I have felt like it's become very, just look at what I'm wearing, look at who I'm with, da-da-da-da-da. But then this year felt a little different.

to me. It felt like everyone was having a great time. Except the rest of the crowd wouldn't. We'll get into that though. I have a lot to say about the crowd shots of what I saw. But why don't we just get into it? Yeah, let's get into it. Noah, do you have a lovely start to Passover? I did, yeah. Went home. Celebrated Passover. It was nice, yeah. Saw the dogs. We had three dogs. Who found the...

Oh, you know what? We forgot to do it. Well, my dad like hit it and then it was like 1130 at night and he's like, oh yeah, someone go find it. We're not going to find it. The Afikomen? Yeah. So you never, you guys never did it? No. It's hidden in the house somewhere. I guess it's still probably, that's kind of, yeah, it's going to be like next year, I guess. Yeah. Yep. You keep it hidden. I saw, I saw some stories of all the dogs in the...

In the house. Yeah. So your brother's dog slept over. I love Harold. Sir Harold. Harold's a good dog. Harold is a great dog. His full name is Sir Harold. Sir Harold's even better. The other, Baylor is a problem. I didn't even say this last week. I had to go home to watch them and he escaped like the fence. There was like an opening and I was driving around town for like a good 15, 20 minutes looking for him. Oh no. And found him like

you wouldn't recognize him. He was covered in mud, like soaking. But ever since then, we've had a rocky relationship. Yeah. That's fair. But yeah, no, it was, it was a good, he seems very active for a big dog. He is. He's just so interesting to me. Cause sometimes those big dogs like end up being lazier. What happened? That dog is active. Yeah. He heard me. I was taking Murray for a walk and he was outside in the backyard. So I think he got jealous and he escaped. Uh,

But you know. Well, yeah, there you go. You're playing favorites. You didn't take both of them for the walk. I can't handle both of them. No, yeah, that's hard. But yeah, he's up for adoption if anyone wants a giant dog. You're really selling him. Yeah. He's a big boy. He is. Well, that sounds lovely, Noah. Yeah.

All right, let's get into the rest of the show. We're going to be talking about Coachella, all about Coachella. Amy Lou Wood not happy about the SNL skit that happened Saturday night. A bunch of ladies went to space.

Girl boss straight to space. Yeah, right up to space. And the Harry Potter casting has been revealed. Some of them, you know. Yes. Not all. The kids have yet to be cast. Yes, because that's going to be a big one. But the teachers, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, the kids, yeah, will be. But it's also like they're going to be kids. Yeah. I think they're going to be unknowns. Yeah. And these are not, like the teachers are not unknowns. Right. So that's partial casting right now. Yeah. And then we have the weekly watch port. So let's get into it.

You guys know they do not make it easy to buy concert tickets these days. You gotta sign up for the pre-sale, you gotta get into the queue. And by the time you get through, the best seats, they're already gone. Going to a concert...

Should be about the show itself, not waiting in a virtual line. Lucky for all of us, there is GameTime, the official ticketing partner of Barstool Sports. So like we were saying, Coachella, it just seemed like a blast this weekend. It really did. I'm not going to lie. It seemed like everybody was having a good time. Three headliners, Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone. But then, of course, a bunch of other amazing performances as well. I mean, Lady Gaga looked incredible.

Insane. It really did. I was watching the set. I was so jealous. I feel like literally my soul would have left my body. And Green Day looked fucking awesome as well. Like, oh my God. Like when we talked about like, oh, Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone. But like, then when you see it, you're like, oh my God, that's fucking awesome. Yeah. They look amazing.

I didn't see much from Post Malone actually waking up today. I actually haven't seen really anything from Post Malone. Sometimes people duck out. Yeah, on the third day. So I've been seeing mostly Lady Gaga and Green Day, which looked absolutely incredible. I think I would have lost my mind for both performances. And then on top of that, Charli XCX. Yeah, Charli looked awesome too. Seemed like she had an amazing set. Brought out Lorde, who's teasing new music. We talked about that last week. Look at that.

All of a sudden. Right when I was like, you know, what's Lorde been doing? Boom, new music. And I said that people were talking about Lorde having new music on TikTok and I was like, I didn't see it. No, there was a tease. Yeah, yeah, there was a tease. So I just was wrong. Did you see when she walked into like the way that she was walking? Yeah, everyone was like, why is Lorde's walk so tough? Loved it.

But Lorde came out. Billy came out. Troye Sivan. Yes. It was incredible. I was like, wow, this looks like so much fun. Although, when you see videos, why does it look like the crowd is never moving? And I just want to say...

You will be able to see these performances. You don't have to take your phone out and record the entire time. Like I know this is the common thing with concerts now. Everyone talks about it, but it is true. It's like you don't have to have your phone out the entire time. How are you taking it in if you're recording the whole time? I know.

Take a couple videos and then put your phone, like it looks like people are just standing there like this. - Yeah they do. - With their phone up. - When the people that are that close, they really do. - But even far, I'm like there's no way you can see anything that's really pointless. Just enjoy the moment. - You're like, you can't even see shit on your phone. - I don't know, maybe 'cause there's just so many people that it's hard to kind of tell. Like when you look into the crowd.

everybody looks kind of stationary just because the crowd goes out for so, so long. But no, there were people saying it. I know Alex Earl was saying it during... Lady Gaga, yeah. Multiple people said it, but she said it during Lady Gaga, like, why aren't people dancing? Like, what is going on? And that, like, some lady, like, yelled at her, and she was like...

No, I'm here to dance. Yeah. I'm here to dance. Yeah, I'm confused by that. And I would feel that too. I felt that a lot of the crowd shots during Lady Gaga was like, hello. How are you not losing your mind? You're witnessing some absolute... The production, her voice, the dancers, the choreography, everything was incredible. The costumes. So good. I'm so jealous. I saw one TikTok. It was cracking me up. It was this...

That was literally like her TikTok name was like something. Mom. Mom. And she was complaining and was like, when did we all...

And decide that it's cool to be satanic worshippers and Lady Gaga's performances with all her satanic messaging and like all this. And I was cracking up because all the comments were like,

ooh, Lady Gaga satanic allegations. She's so back. She's like, Lady Gaga's never been more back. All the comments were like that. I was like, you know what? So fair. So true. So fair. And it really wasn't. No, I mean, people always say that about Lady Gaga, but she's fucking amazing. But that's why, I don't know what it was. I think everybody also, maybe this is why Coachella had a different feel. It seemed like everybody was,

was on the same page that they were rooting for Coachella to be like,

Coachella 2016. Like every comment, everybody's outfits, like all the comments, I don't know what it was. I maybe feel kind of old to be honest. Cause I was like, are these young kids being like, yes, you're giving Coachella 2016. Like thinking that that's decades ago that the times have changed so much. Um, but that kind of really felt like the vibe that everyone's just like there to have a good time, have fun less about the, uh, you know,

and setups and, you know, activations and everything. Yeah, I didn't see so many like brand houses like I did, I feel like last year was like so brand house. Yeah. Heavy, I saw a couple this year. Definitely saw a few but it was not, but it was integrated in a much more low key way which I think is good. And I feel like I,

enjoyed everyone's outfits. Like, I think Coachella is the time to wear like crazy, different, eccentric outfits that you're almost like, it's like you're 12 years old and you're putting on the random stuff in your closet and walking out and being like, this is my outfit. Like, I feel like that's the vibe. And so when people like judge...

so harshly other people's outfits. I'm like, well, the point is to not wear something that you would usually wear on a typical day. So like, fuck it. Where are your most random shit collected together? Like how they used to dress on Disney channel when they would wear like the leggings with the dress and the denim skirt and the furry boots and like nothing made sense, but like for some reason it works. So I enjoyed seeing everyone's outfits this weekend. Uh,

I don't have like a particular favorite, I don't think. I really just enjoyed it all. It would have been funny to see some people bring back like flower crowns. I saw that people talk about that a lot. Micro shorts are obviously huge right now. Like every single person was wearing a micro short. And belts. Yeah, micro shorts and belts. I will say that's probably the only thing I would complain about is there was, I don't know who decided that.

If you were going to wear a belt, that meant you needed to wear six belts. Yeah, no, the layering of belts. The layering of belts. It wasn't just one belt. It wasn't just two belts. It was like three to six belts. You had to have more than two belts. You had to have a shit ton of belts on, which did make me laugh because I'm watching all these Get Ready With Me's and they're like, okay, here's the first belt. Here's the second belt. And I think everybody was just funnier online, maybe too, about their outfits because...

Even the people that got roasted, they made it, like, they weren't upset. They just made it into something funny. Like, I really was laughing at Strawberry Milk Mom. Yes, I was going to say that. With her Gaga outfit. Like, she got roasted. And then, like, her and her sisters were all laughing about it. They were like, be nice to my sister. Like, with her next outfit, trying to, like, put together other things. And then there was just, like, other couple TikTok videos.

that I did see that, you know, I scratched my head for sure. But like you said, it's like you can do, you really can do whatever you want for Coachella. Some of them you're like, what? But at the same time, you're not like, I hate this. Like, I'm never going to be like for Coachella. Like, I hate this outfit so much. Yeah. Because sometimes they just don't make sense, but they all kind of mesh. Right. They all kind of mesh together or fit together. I know. I did kind of like that everybody was on the same page of past years. People have definitely gone more,

Coachella costume vibe. And I thought this year everyone did a great job of like not going super costuming. Yes, there was out there moments for sure, but it wasn't like super hectic crazy. Yeah, and I feel like the celebrities now, like Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, like they all are just doing like jeans and a top. Yeah. Like they're not even trying to put together an outfit. Kendall was wearing like...

A yellow dress. Yeah, but I feel... And her and Hailey were both wearing dresses. Yeah, but they were just there for, like, their own thing. The road 818 activation. But, yeah, it feels like they're, like, super casual. Everyone felt more low-key. Yeah. Which, it seemed like a great time. Yeah, it did. More so in this year than I thought in past years. Yeah. But the performances looked insane. Like, I...

I really wish I was there for some of them. Like, I'm like, holy shit, that looked like it was probably a fucking blast. Although at the same time, I think about it being 100 degrees stuck in a crowd full of people. And then all of a sudden I go, no, thank you. You know what I mean? Like, I'm like, it probably doesn't feel that way while you're there.

You know, like you're not thinking about how many people are around you. But like when you see the videos, you're like, holy shit, how do I ever get out of that? You know what I mean? How do I go to the bathroom? Being there as a normie seems like a nightmare. I'm not going to lie. Like if you're like...

got the artist pass and everything and you're staying in a nice house but if you're camping like that sounds awful oh yeah I mean like the lines for the showers that's the complete opposite extreme I give a lot of credit to the people who are really there to be there for it all and they're camping and they're doing the showers they're like those people are there for the fucking love of it and I admire them but I don't think I'd be able to do that

Yeah, I'm not camping. No. No siree. I wouldn't choose to camp just like on my random weekend. I was there as a normie non-camper. And if you're with your group of friends, you have a fucking fantastic time. Exactly. You're going to have fun. You don't have to camp there. No, yeah. You could stay and rent a house and be, you know, whatever. The hotel is the whole thing. So, no, that's definitely true. I love seeing...

Kylie and Timothy frolicking. So cute. I always think they're so cute. I'm like, wow, they really love each other. Less like Coachella couple content. Really, I feel like they were the only ones I saw. Yeah, I mean, Hailey and Justin, Tate and Craig, Kid LAROI saw that.

But nobody knew. It wasn't like, ooh, like some people get spotted at Coachella. But I mean, we might see it now in the upcoming week when all the things get sent in. But like some people get spotted at Coachella that maybe, you know, we're dating and then, you know, somebody sent a tip in. Oh, I saw so and so canoodling at Coachella. Maybe that'll come this week. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Seem pretty straightforward for the weekend in terms of like pictures and videos of people, which, by the way, I can never get enough.

And I feel like a stalker, but I can never get enough of just watching. Like you mentioned Lorde just walking in. Like I'll watch any video of a celebrity who just walking past people. Like on my TikTok, I'm like, yep, I've seen this video before. I'll watch it again of them just walking in. Just walking past the crowd. Right. Like there's a lot of Hailey and Justin videos.

A lot of Haley and Joseph. Walking past people. They're always like five yards away from each other too. Yeah. A lot of. They're moving fast. Yeah. A lot of people judging the gum chewing of the celebrities. I noticed that on TikTok. Like people are like, why are they chewing gum so hard? Like dah, dah, dah, dah, dah. Like they're chewing so hard. Why are they chewing like that? You're just like, okay, well listen, there's a couple of reasons why.

Yeah. Maybe they're on drugs. Maybe they're just chewing gum. Maybe they don't realize that they're chewing like that. You know, like we're now we're picking apart people's chewing and you know, it's just the nitpicky. There was somebody else. Oh, Patrick Schwarzenegger was there watching Lisa, which by the way, I am now a fan of Lisa's solo music. Mm-hmm.

Wow. Not what I was expecting, but I'm a fan. Lisa Chella, I was locked in. She's incredible. Yeah. Yeah, she is. A talent. Yeah, really. But I was like, wow, that's so cool. Patrick's there. He's like, oh, that's my... They're soaking in the White Lotus fame right now. Everyone's like, oh my God, still freaking out over them. So that was cool to see too. But...

It just looked like a good time. My guy was brought out, John Mayer. Yes, for Zedd. Which I saw this morning. I was like, what? Random. It looked like he was just playing his own set, but I guess Zedd was playing the drums for him. Interesting. They have a song together. Oh, okay. I was going to say a combo that I wouldn't expect. Zedd and John Mayer have a song together? Yeah. It was like in the last couple of years Zedd released a song and he was on it. I feel like I haven't heard that.

No, I don't think I've heard it either. I was just like, I hear Zedd and I'm like, no offense to Zedd. You know who also looked like he had a very cool set? It was Benson Boone. Oh my God. Incredible. He did Bohemian Rhapsody and he brought out Brian May, who's the guitarist and queen. And it was like this whole thing that people thought that no one appreciated that. And then Benson Boone made a TikTok about it being like when you bring him out and like nobody cares. But yeah, I mean, I get like...

I guess if you don't know and you just see a guy coming on the guitar, you just think he... Yeah. So I guess there may be a lot of people in the crowd. A lot of people are young. Yeah. And sometimes it really is hard to tell. If you're far back, you can hear it and you hear the songs, but when the...

acts are talking sometimes it's a little less clear to hear what they're saying and you just miss things like sometimes people they're just not that locked in right now that's just unfortunately the name of the game when it comes to these giant festivals because there's just so many people it's not your own concert right so it's like there's people that are obviously freaking out about being there for you and then there's also people who are like

Okay, cool. Let's go listen to Benson Boone. We don't really know anything about him. Have you noticed it's a thing to like... The whole internet, I feel like, makes fun of Benson Boone. I don't know why. He's incredibly talented. Yeah, he is. I loved his rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. Yeah, no, people just make fun of him in general. And I've seen people say like, okay, it's not his... Like, it's not his fault one of his songs popped off. Like, you know, that's a good thing. Is it just because of like the...

What, like because of the one song? Yeah, and I guess because he's like always flipping off pianos and stuff. His flipping is very impressive. I think he's very talented. Yeah, I think he's... He sings beautiful things and then he flips!

He flips. Right. I think he's talented, though, so I don't blame him. He is. He is. He really is like a young Freddie Mercury, and he wears those outfits, and he's got the mustache. I saw people saying, though, if he did that in front of a British crowd, they would have absolutely lost their minds. Oh, yeah. In a bad way or a good way? No, in a great way. Oh, oh, oh. People would have been like, this is- Bring out Brian Mack. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. People would have been like, this is actually absolutely incredible. Missy Elliott looked insane. You know who also looked like-

I think the set I would have maybe had the most fun. T-Pain. T-Pain, a blast. Holy moly, did that one look fun too. It is tough though, like we were talking about the weather, because, and it especially looked very hot for these people. This weekend, it gets, if you plan on going to the festival in the afternoon and staying through the night, it is so hard because it is so fucking hot.

And then the temperature drops like 30 degrees. And then because you've been so hot all day, it feels nice for an hour. And then you're like, ooh. And you're freezing. You catch a sun cold. You're like, ah. Yeah. It's not really that cold, but because you were so hot all day, it's such a drastic change. Yeah. I've never been to that part of California, so I don't know what it's like. Inhaling a lot of dust. Yeah.

But that's the desert. That's what you're going to get. That's what you're signing up for. Yeah. That's what you're signing up for. And I'm happy for everybody that looked like they had so much fun this weekend. Yeah, me too. Looked like we bought a great time. Did you see what Charli XCX was wearing that people were like? Yeah, I saw. She wore a sash at her after party that said, Miss should have...

Been a headliner. And Green Day was a headliner. People were like, either like, yeah, fuck Green Day, or like, you don't understand how big Green Day is. In my mind, it wasn't as much of a diss thing

a deliberate diss to Green Day as it was like, I'm Charlie XCX and I'm so fucking huge, I should be a headliner. Yeah, I don't think it's a direct diss. I don't think it's like, I should have been, I should have replaced Green Day. It's like, no, I think I just should have been a headliner. I think that's definitely true on her part, but it's, the whole internet is like, yeah, fuck Green Day. Yeah, it's been interpreted, for sure. I saw the comments. It was like, like,

Charlie you've had one successful album you're not exactly Green Day yeah you know Green Day like being there for that was probably so cool yeah oh man I'm like I'm jealous that I didn't get to see it I know but I lose my shit just hearing those first notes and going into right before your wedding gonna be an American idiot oh my god I go crazy you know it's funny Matt's birthday's on Friday but it keeps getting swept under

Yeah. Are you doing anything? We're going to dinner. We're keeping it very casual. That's fair. It's so funny because with his brother and sister-in-law on Saturday, we were saying like, oh, Matt's birthday and Brian. They were like, oh my God. They're like, we forgot? Yeah. I was like, yeah, it's kind of getting swept under there. But yeah. All right. Let's move on to Amy Lou Wood.

Do you ever feel like when you're saying her name, you want to say Amy Lee Wood? No, I haven't gotten that. I think it's just like the flow of Amy Lee, Amy Lou. So where sometimes I feel like I want to say Amy Lee. No, I haven't felt that way. But Amy Lee Wood was upset this past weekend because Saturday Night Live did a white lotus skit. It was called the White POTUS. And it was more so like,

you know, making fun of political figures. And then randomly Amy Lou Wood was thrown in there, like making fun of her. So it just felt really out of place because it seemed like the focus was on political figures. And then all of a sudden it was like, all right, well then let's make fun of Amy Lou Woods character randomly. Um,

and like more so the way she looked than anything else and she posted on her story that you know she was clearing up something she had said about how um you know she was told on the set of white lotus that mike white really fought for her and hbo didn't want her and she said oh h you know i bet hbo thinks i'm ugly but like that was her own thinking hbo never called her ugly she just said that was like my imposter syndrome thinking that that's what they must have thought about me

And but then she went on to say, but I did find SNL to be mean and unfunny. And I think she's right. I think it was like totally it didn't fit into the sketch. I thought I felt like it wasn't necessary within there to just make fun of how she looks in the middle of this sketch. Yeah, it did feel like low hanging fruit a little bit where I was like, oh, quite literally everybody else was funny.

someone in politics yeah and then I was just like oh and here's Chelsea with her teeth right like you know it wasn't and she had just talked about how she didn't want her to be a conversation and so I'd imagine seeing that right after you're talking about that you're like what the hell yeah and it just seemed like it seemed mean like a direct shot at her teeth rather than anything else like they didn't really that was the only joke there what like there wasn't it wasn't even a funny joke for her part like it it really it it

Did feel like it did not need to be thrown in there because honestly, the rest...

Like the rest of it I thought was kind of funny and creative and original like to make these comparisons. Yeah. RFK is everything else I thought was like, okay, I'm like, I'm laughing what's happening. And then it was like, oh, you're throw Chelsea in here for no reason. I think that's why people were extra upset because they were like, wait, this is a funny sketch. This was a really good idea. It was like SNL, we were rooting for you. We thought we had something and then you decided to like ruin it with that. Yeah. Like, yeah, it was good. And then like that part was just unnecessary. You know, loved it.

Walton Goggins. Seeing those stories like back to back I was like oof. Yeah. It's like she posted that it was mean and unfunny and then he looked on his story and he was like brava. Amazing. Amazing. Yeah. And he's like tag Jon Hamm. No it would have been the thing is it

would have been good yeah yeah yeah the teeth thing and it just was if it was felt like an unnecessary shot it really was like oh come on you were it was like you were doing so well and she just seems like the sweetest I know oh gosh I know it's like oh right and it seemed though like she said SNL you know had apologized some people had apologized and whatnot so yeah you know can only they can only uh you know learn from that going forward they can't take it back now you know what I mean no but they won't be making fun of her teeth going forward

Yeah, no. They're probably going to learn not to make fun of any woman's teeth going forward. Yeah, it's just... Unnecessary. And especially with someone who has been so...

outspoken about it in the last few months and has because she has been criticized and dragged for it online this entire time so it's not like they don't know that for sure so right they yeah 100 they know that so they're like everybody's joking about her teeth let's just jump on yeah it was so unnecessary uh moving on all women crew heads to space

This was, I mean, really felt like out of nowhere. The first time I saw this was... I really thought this one came from outer space. Yeah, exactly. Out of nowhere. No, I kind of felt... The first I saw of this was I saw Gayle King talking about how she was really nervous to go to space. And I was like, wait, what? Yeah. Like all of a sudden I was like, wait, wait, wait. What do you mean? Gayle King's going to space. And then you threw in Katy Perry. Yeah.

You know, and also Lauren Sanchez. Yep. And I was like, wait, what? I didn't know they were going to space. It was a successful mission. It was. It was. Thank God. I really thought that I felt the same way, too, that I was like, I felt I heard tidbits about it, but never. The memes have been so funny being like Katy Perry's album flopped so hard that they're sending her out to space.

No, there's been a lot of Katy Perry memes. I swear, I saw the video of Gayle King being like, I'm so nervous. And I'm like... I didn't pay attention to when they were actually going to space. I was just like, wait, what? Yeah. And then last night I saw people on social being like, all right, tomorrow morning, liftoff. And I was like, wait, what? Oh, this is happening. Oh, they're going to space. Oh, they're going to space. It was a six-woman crew.

But did Jeff Bezos go this time or no? No, no. Because I saw him with them. The whole thing was all women. Yeah. Only. Interesting. Because then it was also former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowie, civil rights activist and film producer Carrie Ann Flint. Jeff was there for support and sent them off with some well wishes. So was Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner. And so was Oprah.

I get Oprah for kale. Yeah, well, Chris and Lauren Sanchez are very good friends. Where did this shoot from? Texas. Oh, Texas. I believe Texas. So they went to Texas. Yeah, and off they went. Jeff's parting words were, I'm so excited for you. I don't want to get off. I want to go with you. When you get back, I can't wait to hear how it's changed you. I love you all. See you soon. Godspeed. 11 minutes in total. Yep.

I mean, I just imagine a casual Monday. You just went to space and came back. Like what the, what the hell? Look, I'm, I know it's insane. I just, I'm happy for the, for the moment of being able to say, you know, all women crew headed to space. It's the only time that that's happened since 1963. There was a Russian astronaut solo mission that,

Valentina Tereshkova. She's the only one that's done it. So now we have these six women who've been up there. But yeah, it was like they go up, they have like three to four minutes hovering around the edge.

This is my really scientific terms I'm using right here. I can't even wrap my head around it. And then they came back down. And then they came back down. That must be so comforting, though, being with all women in the ship. Yeah. You guys could just, like, say anything you want. You're probably emotional up there. Like, you guys are just, you're letting it all out. And then maybe you let out all your secrets. I love that this headline, Gail King confirms Katy Perry's saying in space. Oh, my God. Incredible. Fireworks. I just got chills. Yeah.

I like this is the most this is what I mean like most Katy Perry thing of Katy Perry like that Katy Perry has ever done and also all the backstory that Katy Perry's been giving has been so great because every interview she's like I'm such a fan of space I have been for 20 plus years now like we're just Katy Perry's like no I fucking love space I'm I really want to go this is what I mean though like all the all the women in there being like yeah same

Katie sing and everyone's cheering her on like Jeff Bezos would ruin the vibe you think she's saying ET oh my god oh that would be sick how does that happen she's like alright guys I'm gonna sing

Like she just starts singing? No, I could imagine like maybe Gail was like, Katie, you should sing. A different dimension. Oh my God. Wait, that would be, or she just starts singing out of nowhere. That would be like while they're going up. Yeah, one of them was like, Katie, you should sing. Or she was like, everyone's so nervous that she sings to them to calm them down. Or it was like a, well, I've never sung in space before. And then she starts singing.

Either way, this sounds amazing. Yeah. I would be so nervous. I mean, just real talk for a second. Like she has a young child, you know, it's that's very, very nerve wracking. Yeah. So I'm happy that they're all okay. And this is a successful trip to space. But really, yeah. Waking up Monday morning and seeing them all go to space and being like, oh, that was today.

How do you that's just like a because I remember also seeing last week. Remember, Olivia Munn was like, this is so over the top. Like, how much does this cost them to send them to space? Like, there's so many people struggling right now. And, you know, the whole the whole spiel. We're just like we're sending these people to space just just because for funsies. Yeah. There's no like mission. There's like it's just for funsies. How do you even get the invite?

You gotta get the Bezos invite. Gail said that Jeff and Lauren called her and asked her if she wanted to go. That's so... She originally said no, and then she was convinced to go, and Oprah was one of the biggest people that said you should do it. I wonder why Oprah didn't want to go. Oprah's probably like, fuck, no, I'm not going. Gail, you should go. You should totally go. You take this one, Gail.

Damn, that's insane. Would you go if you were invited? No. No. No.

I would have to be no no here's the thing I'd have to be a certain place in my life to go like I would have to be like yeah I've accomplished things I've wanted to accomplish but then if I had young kids I would be like I don't want to leave my young kids behind like I think it would be a piece with like if this goes wrong yeah right exactly you would have to be like it would have to be a certain place in your life like if this goes wrong I'm okay in space with Katy Perry that's kind of sick oh my god no I wouldn't want to go out like that I'm not gonna lie like no I

I try to avoid things that are going to put me in harm's way. Yeah. Right now, you know? I love my life so much that I'm not trying to just go up to space and do whatever happens. You think they were able to take selfies from space? I don't know because they're upside down and stuff. They must have. I don't know. I'm sure there was cameras and everything. There has to be a picture that comes out. I saw Katy Perry said she's also going to write a song about going to space now. Yeah, she should. Yeah. Yeah.

E.T. Part 2. As she should. Damn. Lots of questions and concerns about this. Yeah. But they did it. What a goal now to have. It's like, oh, you can girlboss so hard, take you to the top. Well, now you can girlboss straight to space. Yeah, you could. And they did it. And they did it. That's what they did. I didn't see. I was looking at Katy Perry's stories. My intentions for this pink moon.

She wrote a whole list of things pre-Headed Up there. And they were all in the suits. I love that Page Six wrote that they were like, the trio, all six of them, headed to space in full glam. I'm like, yeah, fucking of course. Fuck yeah.

If I'm out of space, you better believe I'm in full glam. For sure. Haley's doing her hair and makeup before we get on there. 100%. Haley's flying to Texas. She's doing touch-ups right before we get on there. Exactly. We're bringing her on there to do touch-ups mid-space. I don't want to even go this direction, but I'm going to for a quick second.

Thinking about if this went wrong today. Oh, I know it would have been would be a really crazy disaster. Really bad for Jeff Bezos. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it would have been really bad for everybody. Yeah. There's something about the blue. Yeah. There's something about the blue origin suits that look like they're from like a space TV show to that. Just when I saw them posing in the things, I was like, what am I looking at right now? A new cast of a of a CBS sitcom. Yeah. Yeah.

It was, it threw me for a loop, but I mean, hey, I'm glad it worked out for them. Yeah, off they went. Because this would be a different type of Monday if it did not. Definitely. Moving on to the last topic. Crazy. The Harry Potter casting for some has been revealed. Not the three main kiddos, but the teachers. And now I'm just wondering your thoughts because-

I'm not so tied to this. I'm like, good for them, you know? Yeah, look, I'm excited for this. I think that it was inevitable. I know a lot of people feel that why touch perfection, truly, in my mind. Truly perfection, yeah. Truly perfection. And unfortunately, that's just not the...

entertainment landscape that we live in things get remade there's been 40 different spider-men like they're they're gonna use harry potter in the same kind of way and they're doing it into a show which made me excited at the prospect of having more things from the books in to the tv show because you just have so much more time to work with they're doing so

a book, a season. So instead of limiting yourself to, you know, some of those movies were pretty long, but let's just say two and a half hours runtime, you get a full season to really explore a lot of maybe characters that weren't shown that much or other underlying storylines during the books. So that was very exciting to me. I know there, there's been a lot of rumors about this cast for a while now. And, um,

There's been excitement and there's been criticism for sure all across the board. So we knew that John Lithgow just said recently that he was going to take on the role as Dumbledore. He did say, you know, daunting because this will probably be the last thing I do. It's when the by the time this ends, I'll be in my late 80s to do all the seasons and

So he signed on as Albus Dumbledore. Janet McTeer signed on as Minerva McGonagall. Papa Asiedu signed on as Severus Snape. Nick Frost as Rubius Hagrid. And then they also announced that Luke Fallon will be Professor Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse will be Argus Filch. Some of these guys I...

I'm unfamiliar with, but, you know, mostly British actors and actresses. I love this. I love this McGonagall casting. I just I think that's a really she just gives McGonagall to me. I just I think that's that's a good one for sure. Now, there has been like this is not breaking news that Papa S.A. has been cast as Severus Snape. There's been it's been.

Rumored online for a long time. Months, really. Maybe six plus months, more. So that doesn't come as a surprise. It has turned the internet upside down. Some people love it. Some people don't love it. There are going to be people that want to stay extremely true to the books and how that is told.

So for those, you know, I've seen a lot of how Severus Snape is described in the books of, you know, ugly, snivering, sunken eyes, the whole thing. Papa's a very handsome man. So even just from that aspect, they're like, he's supposed to be ugly. And he's a very handsome man. I'm not like...

I don't find the need to be up in arms about this. We have no idea how this story is going to be told. Like people are losing their minds before they even see the show. Before you even see it, how it's going to be told. They're angry at something that's like, okay, well, let's see what happens. And it's not the first time, you know, you take a story, you change it around. These books were written before.

a long time ago, 20 plus years ago now. It happens all the time. And at this point it's like, okay, well you have the movies that are perfection. So what's the big deal if you changed up a little bit for the TV shows? Yes. And you know, the first cast of Cursed Child, when they took the show to Broadway, like Hermione was played by a black woman. So,

Everyone can just calm down for right now. But it's gone to the point where literally the max HBO content

Instagram accounts, they posted the six squares of the actors and made the announcement. Right. Comments are off on the post, which is crazy. It's crazy that they even have to do that because they know that people are so absurd. People are that upset about it. I just don't feel like there's any reason to be so outraged before we see what they do with the project. Right. It's just...

It's a casting. People love to be outraged for a casting and there's going to be these book purists that freak the fuck out about it. So, you know, we'll see what they do with it. They're still casting for... I think they did really a worldwide casting call for...

Harry, Ron, and Hermione. So there'll be probably some new young actors, actresses thrown into the mix. I think 2027 this is supposed to be. I would imagine it's going to be a long time before it comes out. Yeah, I forget when they said. They did announce the time. Yeah, they had over 30,000 submissions for the open cast and call for those main roles. The show is expected to begin filming this summer. So yeah, easily, I bet, like...

Yeah. HBO is describing the show as a faithful adaption of the book series exploring every corner of the Wizarding World. Each season will bring Harry Potter and its incredible adventures to new and exciting audiences. And yeah, that's really all the information we have about it at this point. So I'm excited for it. I think like...

Even just my first reaction when they said they were going to do this, I was like, oh no. But I've come to terms with how this is... Right. That they're going to do it. Right. And also, it could be fantastic. Yeah. And you're still always going to have the movies. It doesn't take away from having the movies. No. So why not? Right. Exactly. Yeah. It's like you kind of have to think about it. I think people... I've been trying to think about it more in the comic book realm. Yeah.

It's you know they've made so many different you know there's been different Batman's there's been different right it's all they're all pulling from so many different group a group of literature the comics of course there's you know different creative liberties taken here or there. So if anything I feel like this will this storylines could be pretty true.

to the book, I just don't think everyone needs to lose their shit over the casting right away. For sure. It's also just so hard to step into these shoes, especially for some of these characters. I'm sure they're nervous already. Yeah, exactly. Like, you know...

The Dumbledores that we had were so amazing. Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, and now these are actors and actresses who have passed. So I feel like even more pressure. And they are so solidified in our brains because we grew up with them as these characters. It's hard to picture anything else. But what's cool is the younger generation...

will have a totally different view on it they'll of course get to watch the original movies and see those too but it'll be an entirely different experience for them this way too when they'll become attached just like we did to the original so i think it's gonna be fun it'll be it's i'm excited to see what they do with it yeah all right that wraps up today's topics

All right, let's get into the weekly watch report where we talk about the things we watch this week. Weekly watch report on Monday. Weekly watch report on Monday. Weekly watch report on Monday. Weekly watch report on Monday. All right, let's get into it. I watch a couple of new things, so I'm excited to talk about that.

I started Your Friends and Neighbors on Apple TV with Jon Hamm. I watch episodes one and two. Right now, I will give that a B. I like it. What's the premise? Guy who, you know, his wife cheats on him, gets divorced, like midlife. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it's comedy-ish. Isn't there a murder? I thought I saw in the description that there's like a murder. Or no, I think it's something else.

I looked at the show description. No murder so far. No murder so far. I literally just looked at the description of the show on Apple TV. Is there a murder in the description? Maybe I'm thinking of a different show. I feel like maybe you are. Maybe not. I just feel like something dangerous. After being fired and disgraced, a hedge fund manager resorts to stealing from his neighbor's homes.

I only discovered that the secrets hidden behind the wealthy facades might be more dangerous. So yeah. Right now I'm just getting his backstory. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What happens. Yeah. Yeah. I'll give that a B. I mean you know it's I could see it being good. Yeah. Hacks is back. I watched. I only watched episode one though. It's week to week too right. They put the first three or two or two or three episodes. I only watched the first episode. I'll also give that a B.

Because I don't like it as much as I've liked the past seasons, but I know that it'll get better. Always the first episode, you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Robbie Hoffman's in it. Amazing. Hilarious. Amazing. So I think it'll get better. I'm excited to see Jake Shane in it, too. Yeah, Jake Shane's in the season, too. But I've only watched the first episode. You know...

I hate when the two of them are fighting. So, you know, I just want them to get along. They're fighting right now? Yeah, they're fighting right now. I still got to catch up. I'm mid-season too. We'll see what happens there. The studio, episodes two through four. I love it. Love. It gives me massive amounts of anxiety. It's so fucking good though. Seth Rogen's character. I know. It's so good, but Seth Rogen's character, oh my God, I'm like, ah. Yeah.

Yeah. You know? But it's really good. I'll give it an A. I really, really like this show. I'm dying for the next episode now. I just love all the behind the scenes of this stuff. Episode four was so fucking good. I watched it like three times. Oh my God. Episode four was so good.

So good. Great Zac Efron cameo. I mean, listen, the little tidbits with the Olivia Wilde stuff, her being like, is she hard to work? I was losing my mind. I'm like, this is so genius. And she was so good too. She was amazing. She's running down the street with the film. I was crying laughing. And,

and just a little bit of like who would like Olivia Watt like I just the little things that were thrown in there and her playing along into it I thought was so good I think episode three might have been my favorite though episode three was really good too with Ron Howard yeah I thought that was really good episode four was just so cool because they made the whole episode like it's like as a film noir yeah yeah yeah

It was just the whole way it was made. Yeah, exactly. It's so good. I mean, that's an A right there, all of those episodes. Yeah, so good. I watched Dying for Sex with Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate on Hulu. Really good. I only watched the first episode because I started it Sunday night and I fell asleep after. But really strong start. It's emotional, but it's funny. You know, it's a sad story, but there's a lot of layers to it. It's funny, too.

I can tell it's going to be really good. I'll give that a B plus or maybe an A minus. I'll give that an A minus. I really enjoyed it. I would have watched more episodes, but I just was sleepy. Yeah. Gilgo Island. I watched the three episodes of the documentary. I'll give that a B plus. I mean, also just annoying at times. You're just like, what the fuck?

You know, but we you talked about it last week. But you're right. You're you're you watch it and you're like, wow, this was really dropped the ball on this one. Yeah. It's just. Yeah. You really just scratch your head on a lot of those things. Yeah. The kid influencer documentary, the dark, you know, what's it called? Kid influencing dark ages, whatever it's called with that fucking freak. Tiffany Smith. Her name is the mom. That's a freak.

Listen, I'm not afraid to even speak about her because I feel like she's going to find what we say about her and then start sending us crazy messages. I have no idea. But it's about Piper Raquel, who's a very popular influencer on YouTube, TikTok, much younger than us. I don't even think she's 18 yet, which then you can hear that and go, OK, wow, this documentary must be really fucked up. But.

I thought it was really good. Yeah, it was really good. But it had my mind in a bit of a blender of how this woman is not in jail. The mom to Piper Raquel, you know, she started this whole squad with other influencers. She took advantage of a lot of the kids in many ways, very inappropriately as well. And it's really dark and sad. And I don't know how she's not in jail.

but I thought that was really good. I'll give that a B plus too. That was super interesting, but I'm not satisfied with the ending because I want her in jail. Yeah. There's a lot of, there's been a lot of follow up to it. She put out a statement to E basically saying that, you know, these parents of these other kids just stage parents who are seeking money and, you know,

They only filed this civil case in the first place because their kids were losing all these followers. So therefore they weren't making the money anymore, so they wanted the money. But the kids themselves are in this, sharing their stories and the things that happened behind the scenes. And even regardless of what was happening behind the scenes, the content that Tiffany and this guy...

Hunter, Hunter, Hunter, Hunter Hill. Yeah. Were like directing these kids to do when they were 12, 13, 14 years old of what they thought would get them to go viral is so uncomfortable. And even just that alone is grounds for punishment, I think, because they're like, they were like, oh, here's the trend of doing

Crush videos and it was like a big thing granted. We're we you know we I missed this stage of YouTube too old for this But it was very popular with these teenage kids and they do these crush videos where they have like fake real relationships and like they get so close to where maybe it looks like they're kissing and if drives people crazy and it was all a setup was all to get these views and

And it's like they're grown adults staging these 13-year-olds to be so close to kissing but not kissing. I'm like, this is so inappropriate. No, it's so inappropriate. I mean, on top of that, there's proof that she was kissing the 17-year-old on camera. Yeah, we saw it. She literally just grabbed him and did it. I literally don't know how she's not in jail. I really don't understand it. I really, you know, my heart breaks for Piper because this is a lot to deal with. And she very much...

seems to be under her mom's control, in my opinion, still. I went to look at her Instagram. This girl is 17 years old. 80% of her posts on Instagram are her in a bikini. Her teeny tiny clothes. That was her whole thing. You watch the whole documentary, it's like she really pushes this get it out there, these sexy images of kids. Totally fine knowing that this is...

Just candy land for predators. I mean, she sold her daughter's underwear to a man. Yeah. A old man predator. Yeah. Like, there are so many things in this act. Like...

And it is sad for Piper because she is under her mom's control and doesn't know any better. Like this is normal to her because she doesn't know what it's like to not be in this. She's been in this since she was however many years old. So it's really sad. It really is. But there's been a lot of discussion about that online because

you know, Piper and some other kids have been posting that, you know, oh, it's not the truth. And I mean, she's literally being controlled by her mom. So yeah, that's a whole other situation. But it was dark. It was really dark. Summer House, I will give a C plus. I can't even remember what happened this episode. It was like Lexi found out

Lexi was talking to Ciara being like, oh, you and Jesse are like brother and sister. Oh, right, right, right. At the end, Paige is sort of talking about her and Craig. Right, yep. I'll give it a C+. Yeah. Things are getting repetitive right now. Yeah, I feel like we're just having a lot of the same conversations. And Lindsay and Carl, I'm like, I don't care about Lindsay and Carl fighting. Right, right, right, right. You know what I mean? Like, we should be past this at this point. I will say, as far as being...

Lindsay being activated and then being shut down, she handled that well. She did shut down. I thought it was... It was like she saw the text and then she was like, okay. Yeah. And then that was that. And then she moved on from it. It was funny that Paige was like, I was raised by Lindsay, which was very funny. I did a Wolf of Wall Street rewatch randomly on Sunday. It's an A movie. It's just a good movie. And then this one, I'm not proud of myself. And I know both of you watched it as well.

Paul American. Yep. The Logan and Jake Paul. Oh shit. I wasn't going to even put that on my thing. No, I know. I know. But I know that all of us watched it and I'm not proud. Yeah, we all watched it. So we really- I actually forgot I watched it. Yeah. We can't hide from it. Yeah. Listen, I have disliked Logan and Jake Paul for a long time. I feel like we all have. I think they come across super unlikable. They talk about that in the documentary, in the reality show. Like,

Jake Paul's girlfriend, or now fiance, is like, I also felt the same way about Jake Paul. It's not that this show is making me like them by any means. Yeah. I just find it to be interesting. It is. It's humanized them a little bit. I just find their lives to be quite interesting. Totally. Like the fact that they...

Blew up on YouTube. They fucking fought each other all the time. But these two brothers, they hated each other. They would do the most vile things to each other and put it on YouTube for views. Their poor mother is like just, you know, their dad's a lunatic. Like it's it's a very interesting dynamic that makes for good reality television. Like it does. It was a no brainer to have these two have a reality show. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah, just seeing behind the scenes of the business, really, and how they operate and how everything's for views and content and they're constantly filming everything and plugging everything and that's just the world they live in and Jake and...

Logan's relationship now. I will say it took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out the title. I kept seeing the title of the show and being like, Paul American. Why is it called that? Really? And I just could not, it just did not click. And then finally as I was watching it, and I was going, Paul American, Paul, Paul. All American. Yeah, because they were saying, oh, we're an all American family. I was like, got it, got it. But it took me longer than I'd like to admit to put that one...

put that one together but i didn't like not enjoy watching it no i didn't they make for good reality you know what helps them so much and it's smart and they did it on purpose but they're the ladies in their lives yes cool yeah and that helps them big time for sure nina ogdahl's always been so cool and jake's now now fiance but at the time girlfriend juta she is a

Olympic speed skater from the Netherlands. Yeah. And she's just a badass too. Having them, it helps them a lot. And they know that for sure. But it really helps them a lot. Because I think I'm watching for them. I think I'm watching for the girls. Like I don't think I'm watching for Logan and Jake. Like I, and I'm watching for their mom too. I texted in the group, which is when Rhea admitted that she watched it. Cause I was like, guys, I have to say,

I'm watching Paul American and I have to admit that I am like getting emotional at Nina telling Logan that she's having a baby. No, I, I'm embarrassed to admit that I cried at parts because I was like, I was going to not talk about that. I watched it and I was like, well, I'm watching it now as well. And then we all admitted that we were watching it, but I, um,

I cried watching them talk about the Dylan Dennis stuff. Yeah. Because... What a piece of shit that guy is. I totally forgot that that happened. Yeah. That he was doing that. But just for Nina to have to go through that and...

It just made me so sad. Like, I really just felt so bad. And I totally forgot that even happened. Like, he's such a piece of shit. But... I'm so happy that they had a girl. Logan needed to have a girl. Logan needed to have a girl. Because he even talked about on the show, like, he has a problem with having empathy for people around him. And it's clear. It is very clear. You can see it in the show. You're like, he's an asshole. And he says it. If anything, the show made me, like, like Jake Paul in...

Yeah, I feel like Jake shows he has more of a sensitive side or whatever, but Logan just seems like a huge asshole a lot of times. Yeah, yeah. But yeah, it's very interesting. I'll give it a B+, because...

I did enjoy my time watching it. I'm not going to lie. Good reality TV. The way I... Their dad's a fucking lunatic. No, he is an absolute lunatic. Yeah. Does he have a knife on him at all times? I don't know, but his dad's a lunatic. Yeah. I mean, their dad. I'm like, is something... He looks like he's strapped with some sort of hunting knife at all times. It is so funny how much the mom favors Jake. Oh. When she was like, Jake's like my little girl. Yeah. But, no, the... I think I was watching...

on Thursday night and I've never paused something faster than when Joe came home from the gym. You're like, I have to shut this off. He was like, what are you watching? I was like, what are you watching? I was like, um, Paul American. And he was like, what the fuck is that? I was like, uh, a reality show about the Paul brothers. And he was like, I have no comment. Yeah. I also watched it by myself too. It was like one of those things where you're like, I'm like, no, it was like, I'm ashamed that I'm putting this on. And it was,

It was literally during the wrestling match gender reveal. And I knew that he would be like, what is happening? And I was like, it's paused. I'll watch it later. It is crazy that we've been doing this so long that when Jake Paul came on,

That was like the old version of Jake Paul. Yeah. I'm thinking back when he came to Barstool that first time. Yeah. And that was like his old. No, that was like when Jake hated each other. That was kid YouTuber days. Yeah. Damn. Yeah. But yeah, I'll give it a B plus because entertaining TV. Yeah. It is entertaining. That's it. That's what I watched. Did you start Pulse or no? Okay. Well, I guess I'll say it's actually really sad though. I told you guys what happened.

The very sad, the helicopter crash that happened in the Hudson. Yeah. You saw that. And this family, you know, died in this crash. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Happened right outside my window. Awful. And it was literally right next to my, you know, right near my apartment. Yeah. And I was literally was watching it outside my window. Yeah. And then I put on Pulse.

And I was like, this is not it right now. Really? Yeah. I actually feel uncomfortable even talking about it. It was just not the vibe at that time. And so Pulse would have to be started at a different time. Yeah. Very fair. I'll grade Paul American. I watched the first three episodes as well. I think I'll also give it a B+. Like, I wish I didn't enjoy it as much as I did. Same. I wish I hated it. I wish I was like, fuck these Paul brothers. But...

And I still kind of feel that way, but at the same time, I'm like, they're making a good show. Yeah. Seeing their dad kind of makes you feel for them a little bit. Well, it really makes sense. You're like, oh, your dad beat the shit out of you when you were kids for sure. Yeah. I mean, they said that. Yeah. Like, they just have a crazy dynamic. Yeah. But they don't give a shit what people think about them. No, they don't. And that, I...

Well, they're getting all this money, so they're probably like, you know. Respect, I guess, a little. I don't know. It is crazy how rich they are. And like that's shown a lot in this. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. When they said, when Logan said the amount of money that they made from the merch in like one year, it was like $50 million or something. Just like, oh, crazy, crazy. So, yeah. Yeah.

I forget where the last time I stopped grading, but I could just start with season two. Season two, I watched episodes one to six. And it's great. It's become like a comfort show. I think that's how a lot of people feel about it. Like, you know, they're on a tour right now. She just played the town, like a state fair where they...

People left to go see a cow give birth. You know, that's that's the kind of vibe and I really enjoy the dynamic between I kind of don't know all their names still but that dynamic between the manager agent and His assistant love them. They crack me up. I will give that a B good fun like it and

I'm behind on Sunday HBO because I got into bed at 9 p.m. So I'm behind on a Gemstones and The Last of Us premiered last night as well. The first episode of season two, which I'm very excited to watch, but I haven't watched yet. So Gemstones, I'm behind. So this is episode four, five. I don't know which one it is, but it's the one I was talking about earlier in the week with the teen gist. That was that episode. Mm-hmm.

It is so solid. It's an A. Gemstones is so funny. It really is one of the better comedies that's on right now. It makes me laugh every time. Summer House, same kind of vibe. C plus. I agree with you on that. Nothing, really nothing too specific to talk about with this episode. I felt like it has gotten a little repetitive for sure.

TOC, Tournament Champions. Oh, I gotta catch up on that. I am also not fully caught up. Episode 7, I think, came out Sunday, so that I also missed. But through 6, I think. It's a B, you know, solid, enjoyable. It's not like there's not too much to say about it. It's a cooking competition show. But I love, love, love, love watching it. The Kidfluencing doc, really good.

like we already talked about, threw me for a loop as well. Just did not know. And I've always seen some of these news reports and moms getting in trouble, but I've never really dug too deep into it. And now there are states that are passing laws in favor of these kidfluencers, which, my God, move faster because these poor kids are getting their, like, all this money that they're making and who knows where it's going. So I will give that

I'll give that an A-. It was... Like, I was very locked into that. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion part two, I believe, is the last one that came out. They're going to have to do... They're going to have to change something. I don't know what... I know I saw Erika Jayne talking last week, being like, we don't know who's coming back or not or blah, blah, blah. Because losing Garcelle is a big piece. Big piece. Because it was always like, Garcelle...

And Sutton were so close. We had them. And that's kind of how the reunion has been. And Dorit's become Dorit versus Sutton. But Dorit and Kyle. Jennifer Tilly has been a joy. I thought she was a very funny addition. And I love those. So I think that they've been great. But they're going to have to maybe bring in a couple more new people would be my guess. I'll give it a B minus. I always enjoy a reunion. But nothing. Nothing really extraordinary. Yeah.

I caught up on Grey's Anatomy, which just gets worse and worse, to be honest. And I've said I'll never stop watching, and I won't. But, like, why? Why do you continue to watch if you don't like it? Because I need to know what happens. But, like, how attached are you when there's only, like, two original characters? I think I'm just so attached to the show. Guys, the people that are... I know the Grey's Anatomy watchers probably feel the same. It's like you're just...

You're locked into the relationship where you've been watching it for so many years. It's just like, oh, New Grey's Anatomy, I'll watch. All I have to say is that Owen Hunt really has time and time again been the most disappointing character on this show over and over and over again. It's actually shocking. He's on what? Marriage 3? 4? And it's just the same, same shit, different font for him. It's like, oh my God. Just every time. I'll give it a C.

Studio, the studio episodes three and four, three I'll give an A, four I'll give an A+. Because I, after finishing four episodes,

I almost clapped at my TV. Like, I was like, wow. Well done, everyone. Great episode. I also just like how, like, they're clearly making fun of Hollywood so much of the time. Like, when it started and Seth Rogen's like, don't you just love film? Yeah. It's like I went to film school and I've met those people. And it's so funny, too, because they go through that whole manic episode and then it just ends in two seconds with them being like,

uh Seth Rogen sold his car gave to Zac Efron made his schedule free Olivia got all of her reshoots and they you know had lost a shit ton of money it's really nice to watch after you like watch the pit or something that's like oh my god that reminds me I watched the pit finale yeah 14 and 15 I think I watched because I had not watched 14 last week so 14 and 15 I'll give an a so solid

Really good. I'm excited for them to keep... I hope it gets renewed. It did. They already started filming season two. Oh, they already did? Oh, amazing. Great news. They're already filming. I mean, now the worry, I think, would be like, is this lawsuit against them? If that is able to... Yeah, I don't know. I think... I don't really know how much they have. There's just some background. But if you didn't know, while watching The Pit...

Noah Weil was obviously on ER for the entirety of ER and the estate of the creator of ER who has now passed, they've sued.

Everyone behind the pit basically saying that it's just a reboot of ER. And I guess something in Noah's, Noah had some contract. Well, I think they were like planning to reboot ER. Yeah, but Noah had some kind of contract that was like they couldn't bring back ER in any way without the estates. Yeah. Like without the estate working with him. And so you wouldn't talk about the states is his wife that is doing this.

And yeah, there were discussions about an ER reboot. And then it fell apart. It fell apart. And then they just made this show. Now they made The Pit. So the wife is like, oh, because it fell apart, now you just made a different show. No. Because now that's all my TikTok because of The Pit stuff. People comparing. There are a lot of similarities and people are trying to like...

They used a lot of the same people. Well, they used a lot of the same people, but there are- Not actors, but behind the scenes. There are storylines. Obviously, a storyline in The Pit is that one guy is a drug addict stealing drugs, and Noah Wilde's character did that in the ER. So they're like- Yeah, yeah, yeah. They bring all these things that are kind of connected to the original show. I don't think- You don't own ER dramas. Yeah. No, no. And it's also like this is such a newer- This is like a whole new generation, right?

Like, we didn't watch ER. No. You know? So I would have never have known that. It's like a totally different show. And I watched all of Pulse. Pulse season one on Netflix. Say, like, you know, another medical drama, but way more soapy kind of vibe. Probably closer to...

Like a Grey's Anatomy. I will say I very much enjoyed it. I was so locked in. I watched it so fast. I was so intrigued by everything going on. I'm excited because the creator of the show said that if they do continue, I would assume it would be another season would be made, that they would start to explore some of the dynamics for the other characters because the first season really focused on the main girl and...

the chief resident, Dr. Zander, and their relationship, their dynamic. The whole time I was like, do we not like this guy? Do we like this guy? And it's a good, like, what happened. I mean, pretty crazy to file a sexual harassment claim at work against your boyfriend. Because they were like full blown. But I don't want to give too much away because it's a whole like situation dynamic. There was 100%

A very strong power dynamic that she just wanted him to acknowledge. But the whole cast of characters I really enjoyed. I think it's going to be very interesting. Maybe potential love triangle in the mix if there's more seasons that happen. So I liked it. I'll give it as a whole...

A B+. Like, it's very... Do you think it would be higher if the pit wasn't airing, like, right now? Probably. That's what a lot of people... They're like, this is terrible timing for the pulse. Yeah. Probably, but at the same time... Just different vibes anyway. Yeah. At the same time, they're so different. But I feel like they're so different, but you see, like, the juxtaposition, like... Yeah. Like, it's just more...

Like I said, it's just a little more soapy when a show like this, relationships, dynamics like that, more cutthroat, who's getting promoted, who's not, that kind of thing, when The Pit is way different. Yes, they're both in emergency rooms, but they're really different.

Very different shows. I saw someone comparing like there were two childbirths and like the Pitt one was like obviously so graphic and like realistic. And then they were like, and then we had like Disney childbirth on the polls.

Yeah, yeah. I mean, she was... That's okay, though, to have different... No, I think it's fine. It's just how you like to... No, look, you're having a doctor run out into the middle of a hurricane on the Pulse to find a patient that's run away. Yeah. So, you know, that's what you're getting from Pulse. Right. And no complaints. Like, that's... It's just a, you know...

That's the kind of show it is. A little more Netflix soapy type show, which I have no problem with. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was very invested. That's everything I watched.

Okay, yeah, I watched the final two episodes of The Pit. I'll give it an A+. Like, especially the last episode, I think. Yeah. Just solid. Like, just an amazing show.

Did you see, like, the creator said that season two is going to be set 10 months later, and it's going to be, like, July 4th. So that should be... I saw people being, like, a lot of firework injuries. Yeah, totally. But, yeah, like, that was one of the best shows I've seen in a while. Yeah. Dope Thief, I'm not even caught up on the newest episode. I'm, like, I'm hanging on by a thread. Oh, no, really? It's just, like, I don't know. It's just not grabbing me. It started strong for you. It did. It did.

and then I don't know what happened but I'll give it like a C plus now the Noah Ives way of watching television just goes down just goes downhill mid season you really lose Noah yeah and there's so many shows on now like I feel like I can't keep up like there's a lot of shows and movies I want to watch there are actually yeah I'm like I don't have time yeah yeah it's a C plus unfortunately the studio's four is an A plus for me like I literally watched it three times yeah it's just so good um

and I watched all of season seven of Black Mirror it's six episodes um I'll give it an A minus like I thought it was good this this season that they uh they did like a sequel to one of the episodes on the last season which I thought was cool because I feel like they don't ever do that um it's like so hit or miss though I feel like do you guys watch Black Mirror no no I never have never it's not for me yeah

Yeah, I could see how some definitely would. But yeah, it's like very never watched one. It's really just like six movies. So it's like, yeah, you're gonna like some you're not gonna like others. But there's like so many great actors in them. So yeah, I'll give it an A minus overall. Watch The Last of Us season two, episode one last night.

Give it a B+. I think it's a solid opening. I had to, like, thank God I watched the recap. I have to watch the recap for sure. I was like, I did not remember any of this. I just remember monsters. Well, whatever, zombies, whatever you want to call them. I think they say monsters. And...

And the Nick Offerman episode. That's like the only one. Oh my God. When they showed that in the recap, I'm like, oh yeah. Didn't they win like an Emmy for that? Yeah. The Nick Offerman episode is really staying with me. That was such a fantastic episode of TV. And that's like, and that's what I remember. And that's not really have, has anything to do with the second season. Yeah. I think it'll be good though.

You don't watch, do you? No. I feel like it's shaping up to be like... It's really not my kind of show. It's like taking Game of Thrones' spot, like, in a way. Yeah. Love me some Pedro. Yeah. And now, like, the storyline, which you'll see, like, from the start is, like... It's funny, because it's like she's just being, like, a teenager now and, like, hates Pedro. Right, right.

Celtics episode. We're still on this. How many episodes are there? Hey, the Celtics are fucking so good. When is this documentary going to end? We're getting there because we're getting close to the present day now, I guess. We probably got like two or three if I had to guess. Because we're like about to start Paul Pierce era. Okay. This was like the end of Larry Bird.

So it was really good. Like, you know, I choked up watching it. And like Larry at the end of Larry Bird and all that, you know, you guys don't even care. No, no, I'm not. But I'm saying not that I would expect. Speaking of sports, I really didn't. I realized that during the intro, I didn't even acknowledge how amazing it was watching. I did watch the Masters.

Honestly, ever since I played golf on Marty's bachelor party, I feel like I can understand. You feel connected. I think maybe because Joe and I were already kind of like sleep deprived, but he...

I was like tearing up watching him when he hugged his daughter. And I know there's a lot of Rory McIlroy lore with the, you know, he filed for divorce, took it back, the whole thing, Caroline Wozniacki of it all. I didn't even know any of that until yesterday. There's a lot of drama behind Rory McIlroy's love life. That is for sure. Yeah, I also do think that a lot of people watch full swing. So it's like you get...

A little taste of that behind-the-scenes stuff. But seeing his emotion and how...

Just how big it was and really the drama. I mean he almost choked so many times. It was like he was going to win it so easily then he choked and then he choked again and then he looked like he was going to win it again and then he choked again and it goes to a playoff. The whole thing. It definitely is the type of thing where you're watching on TV and I'm like I could have fucking hit that. I probably could have enough but I'm like you're two feet away. Yeah. Like he really. It was such a it was a it was a great moment. I was like oh my God this is so he was so happy. I was so happy for him. Why wasn't Tiger there to shake his hand?

Tiger is... Lucky, where is he? I can't play. No, no, I know, but all the previous winners always stand there and shake their... I don't know, he's off somewhere with his new GF. Yeah, I'll give the Celtics an A. And then Paul American... He got hurt again recently, I think. Tiger. There's one thing I don't know about. It's the golf world. Literally at all. Neither do I, but... I sneaky...

I am in the golf. Growing up, I watched a lot of golf with my dad. I've never cared about it, but there's something about the Masters where I'm like, I get it. And I watch all of full swings. And I think that now they're a little bit older, but the...

Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Ricky Fowler, like that whole squad. Scotty Schiff. Yeah, like really roped me back into the golf world. I was shocked that he – I looked up his age yesterday, Scotty. He's 28? He's younger than me. He's won the Masters twice. That's crazy. That is correct. That is correct. No, full swing definitely gets me involved. But, no, I watched a lot of golf growing up for sure. Yeah. Yeah.

Anything else? Paul American. Yeah. I'll give it a B. Like, it's, I feel like it's just a good show to throw on. Yeah. They don't really have to pay attention. But yeah, they're ridiculous, so. Yeah. Yeah. It's become an appointment television for us three, apparently. Yeah, apparently every Thursday we're going to be locked in. All three of our things, like Paul American, Paul American, we're all giving like pretty good grades. Yeah, yeah.

Hey, you don't have to be amazing people to have good reality TV. You know what I mean? What they did for the gender reveal was absurd. Absurd? Absurd. Like...

Is there no one there? Like, what? Like, what are we? And I'm also like, does Nina or do like. It's the most over the top. Talk about true love, really. Like, I watch.
