What's up everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne Fran giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday. Happy Wednesday everybody. How are we feeling today? Happy Wednesday. Good.

gloomy because it's been raining. I mean, this weather. The weather. And we can't talk about it in another episode. But holy fuck. I know, it's kicking our ass. And then it's going to get really nice for like two days. Hot, sunny, and then rain again. Yeah, on the weekends. So, yeah.

That's where we're at. That's where we're at. Just rain, rain, rain. Just a reminder, our New York City show is Thursday night at Town Hall. We still have tickets on sale. Jessie from Mormon Wives will be there. There's a lot of drama going on. A lot of drama. So we will be talking about that. So just a reminder, tickets are still on sale. If you feel like you want last minute plans, grab your friends, come hang out. It's going to be a great time. I'm feeling like the delayed tired, you know? I feel like I had a little bit more pep in my step last night.

on Monday because I'm still moving, but then Tuesday's the worst day of the week. Yeah, I could agree with that. I could get on board with that for sure. Like Monday, you're still coming off the weekend. You're thinking about what happened. Maybe you're laughing with your friends, reminiscing. You're like, hey, oh, you forgot to send the pictures you took and you're talking about how much fun you had over the weekend, you know? You're ready to start the week. And then Tuesday's just like...

Not even close to the weekend. Right. But then it flies by. Yeah. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just, you know, there's three more days. Someone sent me a little olive pillow to the office. I don't know who sent it. I was wondering if that made you just brought that yourself to jazz up the couch. No. No note. Show it to the camera. No nothing. What? It's not on camera right now. Oh, oh.

There it is. It's a little olive pillow. So cute. I could have taken the tag off. I didn't do that. We'll do it after. But I thought we can leave it in the studio. But it was it just said my name and there was literally nothing else in it. So that's very nice. I know. So whoever sent that. So whoever sent it. Thank you so much. Very, very cute. And now we'll have a little. I thought you just brought that to jazz up the place. I just added a new pillow. Yeah. And then didn't say anything. Yeah. Yeah. No, no, no, no. That was good.

Been taking Olive to like obedience training. Like, you know, dog training, obedience training. She's thriving. Teacher says she's so smart. Yeah. Just like her mom. Mm-hmm. She's a genius. Aw. But, no, that. So, that's good. But it's, you know, it's hard work, like they say. Yeah. It is hard work. Gotta keep at it. Yeah. Practice. But, no, she's good. I was so excited to see her. I could have literally sobbed last night. I was laying on the couch watching...

TV and I'm, you know, like on my back, but, you know, obviously like head turned to see the TV. And Olive was next to me, but like more towards my feet. And she got up and she just like stretched and yawned and slowly walked over to me and like truly got as close as she possibly could into the inside of underneath my arm and just...

plopped her head right on my chest. Right here. Just right here. Just right here and went and then just like and then did a little deep sigh and I was like, ah! That was the happiest moment of my life. Oh my god, it was the cutest thing ever. I was like, don't freak out that she moves. But it was so cute. Oh, she's the cutest. But yeah, that's really all my life revolves around is like making sure that

She's good and like now we're busier so we're delegating tasks. Yes, yes. Just like Gia's watching her this weekend of a wedding which will be a good test. Gia's good with dogs. No, no. I trust Gia. Yeah, absolutely. For sure. And yeah, that's kind of it. What about you? Not much really. I mean. Yeah. Nothing. I did really nothing. Yeah. What was yesterday? Monday? Yep.

Yeah, I did nothing besides went to the gym, walked some more after that, and then I sat my ass on the couch and waited patiently for Love Island to come on, which is just like...

I really wish it was 8pm. I really wish it was 8pm. Totally even 7.30. And I wish when we talked about it like we were on time because now talking about Monday night's episode we're going to be behind because when people listen to this it'll be Wednesday and there will be already an episode on Tuesday. Which feels like we're just behind when we're recapping on the podcast besides on Mondays. Like on

monday's really the only time we can get it yeah right because even with no episode on wednesdays it's like well then there's still thursday's episode which we're gonna miss but i do just want to add that my opinion on ace is already changing sadly on monday yeah on monday i talked about how i love ace and i really don't want him to do something stupid and then that's what he does on monday night which you know i

I don't like I think if he explores too much he's gonna end up with fucking nobody like for sure he's forgetting that also the girls have to pick for sure and there's a chance they do not pick him because yeah he's well it's so frustrating because it seems like he has the right thoughts for other people's couples like

I like that he's clocking Jeremiah right now. I like that he's a little iffy about it. He's just cautious. And then I also liked what he said to Taylor about Alandria being like, hey, if you slow burn this too much, she's going to get somebody else. You've got to step up your game, the whole thing. It's like, well, my God, look in the mirror. He's giving great advice, but he's not taking the advice he's giving. But I also feel like he just doesn't really like him. I don't know why he picked her.

I don't know why he picked Amaya. And he picked Amaya and then was like, listen, like, whoa, whoa, whoa, don't get too excited, which was just like kind of strange right off the bat. It was. It was. It was. But then Amaya's reaction, I felt, was like a little over the top because they had just couple, they literally just met that day. But then Ace was being a weirdo about like, not like he was like, okay, don't get too comfortable with me. But like, how, like, she's trying to explore the connection. Yeah.

And then he's like, he doesn't like babe. He doesn't like being called babe. I legitimately was cackling laughing. Cackling. When they had the second conversation at night and Amaya called him babe again accidentally. And she was like, so she was like, oh, I'm sorry. And I,

I genuinely was laughing so hard because his face, he was just staring at her like so mad that she accidentally called him babe. Like it was just so... It's just weird because I think there's like multiple usages of babe, right? Like I think he got all freaked out because he asked her...

what she would call her previous partners. And she had said, babe. So I think like he took that as like, oh my God, she's moving way faster than me. But in reality, like she uses, yes, she called her old partner, babe.

But she also calls everybody else babe, too. She calls everybody babe. It's not an exclusive to her ex-partner. And then I thought it was like... And then Nick was just egging him on, being like, yeah, you're right, that is weird. Like, that's too much, too fast. It's like, I'm sorry, I don't know. Fair for Ace, like, if Ace wants to set his boundaries and whatnot, okay. But I just thought it was like, he... The first time, it was like, okay, I get it. But then...

It just seemed the way he was continuing to harp on it, it was like, well, now you just seem like you're pushing her away because you didn't like how the first conversation went. So now you're just like, you're now you're like, okay, I'm done with you. You know? Yeah. It was, it really escalated very quickly. It really did. And,

I just don't understand the game him and Shelly are playing. Yeah, I don't either. Sadly, Austin had a good point. He was right. Which was like, you know, we're all like shaking our heads like, oh, why is Austin the one being like the one to shed some light on what's happening? But like, it's true. It's like,

You had your chance, bro. You could have picked her and you didn't. Why don't you just go for what you want? It's very confusing now. Yeah, I agree. And Alandria's comments had me peeing my pants. She was like, he's Christopher Columbus. He's exploring all over the place. Shelly was like, who is he thinking? Is it Dora? It's unbelievable. Seriously, some A plus one minors there. I know. I love Alandria too because when she was talking about Hoda and she was like, you know,

She clearly just needs a friend that's going to be a little, you know, feed into the delusion a little bit. And I can do that. She's like, that can be me. I can do that for her. No, it was insane watching Huda bring up living together with Jeremiah and then Jeremiah being like,

Like, he was not in it. He was like, oh, like, I would, you know, we would do long distance and then we'd move to the same city. And then after we see how that was, then we would maybe break the lease and, like, live together. Like, he was like, there are steps before living together. And she goes back and she's telling all the girls, like, about living together. And they're like, he said that? And she's like, yeah. He's like, no, no, no, no. He didn't say that, actually. All the other girls were cracking me up, too. They were like...

He didn't say that at all. His face looked terrified. I mean, now at this point, I'm watching just for this to fucking explode open because...

Wow, it's weird to watch. They're weirding me out. And I know we've seen stuff like this in the past where people get attached. I mean, like Aaron and Kayla. We saw them get attached fast. All this shit. But we're talking about moving in together. No, she brought up their wedding. Even as a joke. No, but like, whoa, whoa, whoa. Even as a joke, you're like, whoa. Yeah, it's weird. It's like the other girls were like, look, there's moving fast...

in real life and everything moves fast in here but i think they're moving faster even love island time they definitely are and um it's gonna burst obviously like something is bound to happen we need some we need some male bombshells where are they you know we need some i've been waiting i feel like i feel like they should have already come in already like where are they right you know we need someone to do it up yeah because that doesn't happen yet alandria and taylor

But like Charlie, I've already forgotten about because he's like so locked in with Hannah. Elandra and Taylor, I'm not feeling the chemistry. You don't think? I think they are trying. Maybe it'll come though. I think they're trying. Maybe it'll come, but I don't know. Yeah. Like I have this feeling and I think Taylor is really funny. Yeah. I feel like

He's maybe not so into Alandria. Maybe Alandria's not so into him. Like, I think they both maybe need someone else to come in. Yeah. To sort of shake it up. Because, you know, slow burn and all. But, like... Yeah. I agree. I feel like we're not seeing the chemistry, you know, right off the bat with these two. That's fair. But I'm going to need Ace to clean it up. Because...

It's not looking good. Yeah, no, for sure. For sure. I agree. It's not looking great. He can't be like giving great advice to everybody else and then like really fucking up his own situation. No, and I do like people are like tell Ace to stay out of everyone's business. No. No.

No, you know. We want people to be in each other's business on the show. Yeah, you need the drama. That's the only reason there is drama is when other people get into other people's businesses. Yeah, we need people in each other's business. I don't know the washers of Love Island who are like, oh my God, he needs to mind his business. No.

No, I don't want any of them to mind their business. I want them all up in each other's space. I don't know what program some of these 15-year-olds think they're watching, but they literally just want to watch couples fall in love.

whether it's real or fake and have nothing else happen nothing else zero drama they don't care like no they just want and they want everybody to fucking hold each other's hand and be nice to each other and that's it and now you know what that is a boring television it is a boring that's not tv no that's like you know that's real life yeah so yep you know i was talking to somebody last night about uh the show and they brought up a great point where they were like you know

Hoda crashing out over a guy week one. Honestly, sort of relatable. You know what I mean? For sure. Maybe not in this way, but people can relate to that. Getting your head all caught up. It's not the first time it's happened on the violent either. Or just in real life. You get all caught up in a guy you never even talked to. What's the word I'm looking for? Faker than that or whatever is...

Everyone acting like their best friends or calling each other best friends. Yeah within four days. Right, right She's my best friend. He's my best friend. What? Right, right, right, right You guys don't know each other anything just yet. Yeah, you get like two weeks in starts feeling like a year Yeah, you know, yeah, then it starts making sense. Yeah, like all the all of a sudden like they're all best friends right away I'm like no, no No, you're not

Yeah. And maybe that's because I'm rooting for the drama. No, definitely. I'm sure they all feel that way though. You know, like they, right. They get attached to people so quickly. There's really nothing else to do. Yeah. So you don't have other friends in there to like, right. You know, that's my best friend. Yeah. You are my best friend because I can't talk to my actual friends. Right. Like right now you are my best friend. Yeah. Yeah. That makes more sense. Yeah. Um,

All right, let's get into the rest of the show. We're going to be talking about the Bachelor in Paradise cast was released. Some things going on with Miley Cyrus. She was on a couple podcasts. And then also a little, you know, confusing situation at the Beacon Theater on Friday where people were very disrespectful to Miley.

Glenn Powell's ex-girlfriend Gigi Paris speaks out about their breakup and what happened there. We were all wondering. The Love Island season six spinoff trailer has been released and the judge dropped the Baldoni. Baldoni's suit. Yes. Baldoni's 400. First Blake Ryan in the New York Times. Yes. 400 million dollar lawsuit. And we have the popcorner. So let's get into the topics.

Summer is here, guys, which means it is truly season. It's time to finally make the return and get that truly pool party pack. Everyone's favorite summer drink lineup is back with four refreshing limited edition flavors.

Bachelor in Paradise cast has officially been released. There's some people returning, some people we haven't seen on the beach before. You know, Dale Moss, he's back in it. I thought he was gone from the Bachelor franchise. He is back. I think people have been waiting for this. We got Kat, you know, the last time she was on Bachelor in Paradise. She brought some drama. She's back there. The whole cast has been released. Yep, so we have, this is like, you know, the initial release.

Group that will be coming to the island first. We have Alex from Grant's season. We have Bailey from Grant's season. Brian from Jen's season. I don't, I could not place Brian for the life of me. I've never seen that man. There are some people where I'm like, I don't remember you. Dale, Claire's season. Of course we know that. Um, Hakeem from Jen's season. Jeremy from Jen's season. Um,

Jess from Joey season. If you remember, Jess is the one that I think looks literally exactly like Hannah Brown. Especially in this picture too. I mean like twins. We got Jonathan from Jen season. I'm excited for Jonathan. I liked Jonathan a lot on Jen season. Justin from Katie season. He's back again. Justin's been on the beach a couple times I feel at this point now too, right? Kat, like you said, Zach season. She's back. We have Kyle from

From Katie's season, don't remember him at all. Think he was an early exit because he made a joke about it. They had them do like, almost like taglines. Did you see the video? It was like, they did like, almost like Housewives, like taglines. Like, I'm ready for the summer, but I, blah, blah, blah. Like, Jonathan's was like, I'm a medium king looking for a big love. Like, that's, it was like, wait, what? Yeah, I mean, they're doing what Love Island does in their intros. Yes, yes.

Lexi from Joey season. There's all that drama with Lexi when she left and all that jazz. Ricky from Jen season. Sam from Jen season. Really forgot about this guy. Really completely forgot that this guy existed until I saw his picture and that, oh, this Sean Booth motherfucker. I forgot about him. Oh my God. Forgot about him. Then we have Spencer from Jen season and Zoe from Grant season. So that's the initial mix.

cast of people that'll be on the beach first then of course you know they always add people in early as the season goes on so July 7th that's the date everybody's very excited but yeah mixed mixed reactions from the comments very fun people being very funny about Dale well of course yes and jokes kind of write themselves Sam what please no Sam and then like I'll

Cat too. But I'm excited to see Cat again. That should be interesting. I think. Did they release the oldies or no? No, that's, this isn't, this is the list we have right now. Some woman commented Dale period, diabolical period. Oh man. Yeah. Listen, it's a majority of Grant, Grant and Jen, right? Like Grant, Jen, a little bit of Joey. Yeah. It's just going to be tough because I think this happened before.

last year when Jen's season was on, right? Yeah. With Love Island or whose season was it?

Somebody's season was on at the same time. I'm pretty sure it was Jen's. Because Jen's was in the summer. Yeah. Right, because Jen's was in the summer and then remember she had to hightail it to Dance With The Stars ASAP. And it was just kind of tough at the beginning. So I feel like we might run into a similar problem. It's actually good timing, I think, from where... Love Island will probably go for maybe one or two more weeks after that, really. So...

Not too bad. Right. But yeah, listen to this for a second. This is what they're. Yeah, this is Love Island. That one was Dale's. God, Dale's is so good. So why wasn't Andrew on there?

I think I saw Andrew as like a spoiler of like, I think he comes onto the beach later. Okay, that would make sense. Yeah, yeah. I don't know if he's part of the initial cast, but I think he'll...

come in, maybe steal someone for a date, that kind of thing. Like a bombshell. Andrew is a bombshell. He is. He deserves to be a bombshell. My head is just like, gosh, I need a space from Love Island sometimes, but I just can't. I know. Well, in the summer, it really does take over everything because now it's Love Island plus Love Island UK is starting and now we're going to get this Love Island thing.

Spinoff, right. Season six show. Well, we can talk right into that. Yeah. A trailer was released for the Love Island season six spinoff. Deep sigh, a breath before I speak about it. Yeah. Trailer didn't do a review.

I'm gonna watch obviously just seems a bit manufactured some of it like I live in Kayla yelling at each other about spray tans and glam like yeah like it seems like fake fight that they've maybe been dragging on maybe it's real to them I think it could be real I think that is actually a real fight because objectively it is stupid for reality TV so it's like oh the best that they could put in the trailer is them fighting over a spray tan it's like they must have really been fighting over a

Right. Which I get, I don't know. Some of it just seemed manufactured to me. No, I think it was like, I don't know if it was maybe like the editing style. I think it was maybe the editing. Of it sort of, like the editing of the trailer. Because it is something that they haven't done before of like taking a Love Island, like...

I don't know if it was just our own brains having a hard time comprehending watching them not in the villa, if that makes sense. Maybe. There was something about watching them out and about that I was like, this feels like candid camera. I don't know. Put the Sims back in their place. Yeah, yeah. I was like, this looks like a...

almost like an America's Home movie. Like, it was... I don't know. It was weird. But then also at some points I was like, the cameras look so clear. I don't know why. I don't know. I was torn about it as well. And it does seem like maybe there's already some drama with it because...

The trailer certainly makes it seem like Kenny and Janae are maybe not on the same page. It's like really focused on Kenny not wanting to live together right now. And there was a couple other moments and they didn't really show anything else for the two of them. That was like their big thing. And Janae wrote back to two people on Instagram on the post. I think she may have deleted them or if she left them up. I don't know. I can't imagine Peacock was thrilled with that. But...

Someone commented, every scene feels overly produced. And I don't like how they're using Janae and Kenny's relationship to be messy this season when they barely showed them in the villa. That from you looks to be edited into that moment. That was a quote from Kenny that he was like, I just need some time. And then there was like a pause. And it was like from you. But you didn't see him say from you. He said I need some separation from you. Yeah, so people were like, oh, yeah.

Janae wrote back, thank you for clocking that. And then someone else wrote, so you barely show Kenny and Janae in this and when you do, it's conflict. Get the fuck out. And she wrote back, see what I mean when I say they're messy, messy AF. So we're already calling production messy before the show is even out yet. I feel as if...

production didn't really know what they were getting themselves into making a show about this cast and how fucking careful they would have to be because the fans of these people are

are literally the most ruthless fans I've seen on the internet. And I'm saying even more so than your biggest celebs. Yeah, did you see everyone making the after sun thing with Leah? That Sophie Mugg making a joke and everyone was like, the disrespect they have for Leah is out of control. And I was just like, I have nothing to say at this time. I have nothing to say because this is out of control. I don't even know how they deal with it.

though. Yeah, I know. How do they deal with that amount of pressure from the... I know. How old are these people? Sometimes I'm looking at these comments and I'm like, this has to be a 14 year old person. Yeah, no, for sure. Because, wow, they're like so crazy on air. Yeah. I'm scared to even say that, honestly. No, I know. Don't clip this. Don't clip this at all. It's like, they're just Ruth

They're like I know It's crazy It's really really crazy So And it's gonna be interesting To see how the show goes down You barely showed Janae and Kenny It's a reality show Exactly They want to feed off drama Like Oh

And if Jhené's writing back in the comments already, they're going to run with it. The fans are totally going to run with it. And of course, if Jhené wants to be annoyed with how the trailer came out, she totally can be. For sure. I think it'd be frustrating too if you're like, my relationship is good and you're making it look like it's bad. So I don't know. There's no date yet on when it comes out. It just says coming soon. So we'll see how that goes. I will say...

intrigued to see Kayla and Aaron back on our screens I'm not gonna lie I did I thought that was gonna be like my least favorite part of this show and then watching the trailer I was kind of like damn I kind of missed this why did I feel happy seeing Aaron on the screen same like I like it kind of warmed my heart a bit it's like I know sometimes when you reflect a little bit and like time passes yeah like okay

Aaron was wrong. Yeah. But like the way people treated Aaron and maybe even us kind of extreme. Yeah. You know, like we didn't have to go that hard. Yeah. You know, the guy disappeared off the face of the earth. Yeah. And now he's back. I think that's the best thing that he could have done for this show is that he was like, he's been gone for a year. So now people want to see him. I agree. I think that's, I think they needed that because as much as like people want to follow those, uh,

winning couples who we all love and like want to see their journeys it's good to have like a little single people drama thrown into the mix so what about um Nicole coming back it also seemed like Aaron didn't say one word he just looked like this the whole time in the trailer it's so true maybe that's why it's because we didn't see him speak I saw a meme that was so funny that was Kayla being like so you haven't had sex since we were in the villa and it was in the caption was like

lying in British no yeah yeah no Nicole coming back to talk with Kendall was interesting too there's a lot that's gonna be good to watch for sure right I'm excited to watch it yeah I'm excited to watch it it's just like I don't know it was like something about the

Something about the editing. I don't know what to put my hand. I can't put my finger on it exactly. It's not has anything to do with them. It was like the visuals. We're not used to seeing them like. Yeah. I'm like. Right. You're out in the wild. We watch them on social all the time. Right. But we're just used to seeing them like in the villa, like with cameras, like far. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think we're just not used to seeing them on real reality. It's like really in high def, like in LA. Not real reality TV, but you know what I mean. Yeah.

The only thing we love as much as you guys is delicious cocktails. We started our tour thanks to Rum Haven being a part of it. We are drinking delicious cocktails with Rum Haven and no one serves up real delicious drinks like Rum Haven. Rum Haven is made with real coconut water and no artificial flavors or preservatives for a clean, refreshing taste.

taste. You can't beat the taste of real coconut water. It's delicious. It's clean and it's refreshing. You could drink it straight over ice. You can mix it with a nice little fruit punch. You can mix it with some juice. You can mix it with a nice tea. Whatever you are feeling, you want to mix with your Rum Haven. It works and it is delicious. We've been drinking it at shows.

Our guests have been drinking it. The audience has been loving it, holding their Rum Haven cocktails in the air. It is the best to see. So you can enjoy it any way you want and head to rumhaven.com slash chicks in the office to learn more. Moving on. So Miley, she's appeared on multiple podcasts recently. Love listening to any interviews she does. But first I want to talk about the incident that happened at the Beacon on Friday. So...

It was announced that Miley was going to be premiering her visual album at the Beacon Theater in New York City on Friday night. And then afterwards, there would be a conversation with Miley. This was on her site. And many people who bought tickets, the event sold out quickly. And many people who bought tickets, you know, upwards of $800,000, $900,000. Resale tickets. Yeah.

Went to the event thinking Miley would sing and they realized she wasn't going to sing. That's on them because online, the event was very clear about what it was. And it was that it was a premiere of the visual album with a conversation with Miley after. So people going there and screaming, like,

out loud while Miley's talking and being like, so you're going to sing? It's like so fucking rude. So disrespectful. Obviously, Miley handled it with class and then just ends up singing the climb randomly because the guy was like, sing the climb. And then she was like,

you can know like she just starts breaking out. She's like, that's such a phrase. Like she's like, I know. Yeah. She's like, I'm going to fucking sing the climb right now. So everyone shuts the fuck up. No, she kept it together. Very, very well. I wildly disrespectful. People always are just like, give me, give me, give me. We want, we want, we want. It was very clear what the event was going to be. And you know, that's probably, it's kind of on them. It's so crazy to me too. Like, even if you are someone that paid, like,

$800 to go and you expected a concert or you expected her to sing, I never in a million years would yell out loud to her like that. No. Even if you're like, oh my God, I can't believe this. It's like, there's no...

There's no singing. It's like for you to obviously... If you love her that much, you're going to yell at her. It's like if you were going to spend $800 for her, clearly you're a fan. Right, you want to hear her talk in general. Yeah, and you're just going to be like, are you even going to sing?

It's like what? Just excuse yourself from the theater then. Like if you're upset about what happened, just excuse yourself and you could talk with your friends and be like wow I thought she was going to sing and then you would see online that wasn't going to be the case. If you made a mistake and you didn't see it. It's on you too. Right. You look up the event again, you see the details, you're like oh fuck I fucked up. But like you're not screaming at Miley. Crazy.

Absolutely crazy. She didn't talk about it, though. She kind of said the event was amazing and kind of, you know, didn't bring any attention to what had happened there. Yeah, which I'm glad she did, too, because I think she was so excited for the visual album premiere and, like, doing it at the Beacon so cool at Tribeca Film Festival, the whole thing. So I think she was able to...

Enjoy that moment and kind of like write off those silly, silly people for doing that to her. Silly, disrespectful, rude as fuck. Yeah. Just out of control. Absolutely. Out of control. She's also done multiple interviews on podcasts. Not this one, but many other ones. She did one on every single album, which was so good.

So good. Like truly must listen. It's a must listen. I listened to it Friday night.

Before bed and I was trying to get to bed early before our show Saturday. Yeah, but I couldn't I had to listen to this entire fucking thing I mean, it's so interesting to hear the background the stories behind every album behind every song The songs we love the songs, you know that she likes or doesn't love I love how open and honest she is about songs she likes and doesn't like and even talking about plastic hearts and yeah, like I wasn't happy with the vocal production on that like just being so open and honest and

obviously hearing about, you know, the bangers era and dead pets and all that. Yeah. When everyone would judge Miley so harshly or even talking about Liam when she was like, we can talk about it. Like, you know, my relationship with Liam the first time we split up. The house burning down wild that she wrote about

their house burning down before it burned down and nothing breaks like a heart. Like that's insane. She was like, it broke. The song was released. My house burned down a week later. Like what? That's actually insane. Just so many interesting stories and tidbits. I can listen to her talk about anything. And obviously growing up with Miley and, you know, Hannah Montana being like our icon. Yeah.

You never get enough of her talking about those early days. You really can't. I could listen to her. I could have listened to them talk about just like meet Miley Cyrus for two hours, you know. I was so excited to hear how much she loves East Northumberland High because that is seriously one of my favorite Miley songs. And the driveway too. I love that she loves the driveway. And sometimes you would think if Miley were to ask me some of my favorite Miley songs and I named East Northumberland High, she'd be like, what?

- But I don't think she would. I think she'd be like, "I love that." - Yeah. - "You love that song." - Yeah. - You know, because it seems like she does too. - I think so. I think so definitely. And I love just like, just hearing that behind the scenes of making those songs then and what she was thinking of and a couple of little Nick Jonas moments, you know, which for all us Nylee lovers, and so there she was like, "Nylee forever?" I was like, "Yes, Nylee forever."

And like, you know, songs that she, talking about writing a song, it's like her and Nick, Josh Brothers were getting their moment and now he was going on tour and she was like, why can't I go with you? Like, it was just so crazy and funny hearing about all those moments from the time. But yeah, she talked about the driveway too and like saying that she loved, God, I always mess up her last name, but Natalie Ambrose, she sings Torn. And yeah,

"Torn" is such an iconic song. She was like, "I was so obsessed with that song." And then if you listen to that and like you hear it in the driveway, which is really cool. And she's just such an expert at her craft. She really is. So hearing how all the different sounds have evolved and like different albums she's wanted to do and how she's had to deal with different management and different record labels and the marketing plans don't line up with maybe what she wanted it to be and all these things is just so fascinating.

And loved, just loved hearing her go through the whole thing. And then she also just went on Monica Lewinsky's podcast called Reclaiming. And talked a lot about family life, which has been a hot topic recently with the Cyrus clan. And who's fighting and who's not fighting. And who's talking to Billy Ray, who's not talking to Billy Ray. And all these things. And she...

did just kind of, you know, bring up how they've, they seem to have moved past over like a decade of

you know, family drama and issues and whatnot and having to just kind of like break through that wall and be like, we got to move on from this and everything and her making some of those moves. So it's very fascinating to listen to. It is really interesting because I feel like people are always interested in what's going on in their family life, especially who's on the dad's side, who's on the mom's side. Why can't we all be on each other's side and kind of bring the family together, which seems like the point that they are at. And maybe Miley had a big hand in helping that, which is interesting.

very beautiful because at the end of the day it is both her mom and dad so exactly

Moving on, I've been dying to know what happened. I know a lot of people are. When Glenn Powell was filming Anyone But You in Australia with Sidney Sweeney, it was announced that him and his girlfriend Gigi Paris broke up. And they had been together for a while and they broke up and everyone was like, what happened? Is it because of Sidney? Well, Gigi Paris spoke about the breakup publicly. And she said that she was going to visit Glenn Powell and had everything set.

And Glenn was like, no, no, no. Production doesn't think it's a good idea if you come visit me. Yeah. Yeah. She was she went on the Too Much podcast and she said she received a phone call from Glenn telling her not to visit him on set. She said, it's pretty insane. I got a phone call from right when I was about to go to Australia to work. I had my visa that took much longer than

Uh, than I anticipated while all this shit was coming out on the internet and I had jobs lined up. She also said she was ironically going to shoot bridal. He called and said, the producers and I have discussed that. I think it's best that you don't come to visit, uh, Gigi, who never explicitly names Glenn or Sweeney during the interview.

She then says, and that's when I hung up. She added, and I was like, this motherfucker is done with me. I think that's where I just also fell out of love. I was like, where the fuck are your balls to stand up for yourself? She said she flew to Australia. Anyway, I went anyways just to look him in the eye and break up with him. But then I was stuck there for two weeks doing my jobs. And there was a rule like I was not allowed near set. I was not allowed anywhere near production. It was very bizarre.

She revealed that she broke up with Glenn as soon as she got to Australia, said it was emotional, said it was just our goodbye. So there was lots of tears. There was lots of things, lots of conversations we had. And we tried to keep it on good terms in some sort of way. Yeah.

Yes, that's pretty crazy. Of course, she's now sharing this. It's crazy, but at the same time, this does kind of feel like the missing puzzle piece in that whole story of when they were together. We didn't know that Gigi and Glenn had broken up. It was like everyone kind of thought, it was like, oh, well, she's engaged and he has a girlfriend. So what's going on here? Then there was cheating rumors and all this. But at the end of the day, it sounds like

She went down there and... Down under. Down under and ended it right away. It is, of course, interesting to hear her say, quote-unquote, production, because we know that Sidney did play a large role in that part for this film. So... And Glenn has kind of made comments of, like, ah, the marketing genius that Sidney Sweeney is and whatnot, but...

Which then just makes me want to know more about like what those conversations were like behind closed doors of them being like, no, we were we are selling this story in order to sell this movie. And your girlfriend being on set would really fuck that all up. So she can't come. Right. That is wild. And then for Glenn to just go along with it and not be like, no, guys, like my girlfriend's going to come visit. Right. He's just like listening.

to what they say. Obviously it shows that they were not like meant to be in that sense because I do think if you find the right person like you're going to stick up for them in that setting. A thousand percent. Like if he did not. Right. If he really wanted her to be there. Yeah. No my girlfriend's fucking coming to visit. So. Right. The priority was obviously the movie. Right. Something was off there. I'm shocked she's talking about it publicly but like you know power to her. You know.

It's what happened. So I feel like people were wondering and now we got the answer and it was like, okay, Sydney Sweeney running a tight ship over there on production. Tight ship.

huh yeah it's not really not letting any other girls near glenn powell on production can't mess up the flow yep yep yep yeah crazy oh that is crazy but i'm happy that we got a little inside scoop there same same i think we all probably would have forgotten about it but now that it's brought back up like right thank you for the haven't been thinking about it at all no literally haven't thought about it since they broke up but uh happy we have an answer now yep last topic

The judge has tossed away Justin Baldoni's $400 million lawsuit towards Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Yep. This was obviously a big moment. Blake has shared about it on her story. She posted something about it. It's been all over social and the news. But Judge Lewis has...

Lyman, Lemon Lyman, granted the motion to dismiss the actor's January countersuit as well as his $250 million. There's $450 million against Blake and Ryan. And then it was $250 million libel lawsuit against the New York Times about that initial article that came out. The judge wrote that Baldoni and his Wayfair Studios production company,

quote, have not alleged that Lively is responsible for any statements other than the statements in her California Civil Rights Department complaint, which are privileged. Lively, notably, obviously, this continues the article, made headlines when she filed that initial complaint in December 2024. The judge explained that Baldoni's lawsuit alleged that Reynolds and publicist

Leslie Sloan made additional statements accusing Baldoni of sexual misconduct and that the Times made additional statements accusing the Wayfair parties of engaging in a smear campaign. However, the judge continued, the Wayfair parties have not alleged that Reynolds, Sloan, or the Times would have seriously doubted these statements were true based on the information available to them as is required for them to be liable for defamation under applicable law.

Baldoni's legal team has until June 23rd to amend their claims for breach of implied covenant, suggesting that terms agreed upon in their legal agreement were violated. And then, so you know, she also tortious interference with contract, tortious interference with contract, which is intentionally disrupting the relationship or contractual agreement between parties, potentially leading to significant financial damages and reputational harm.

In a statement to Page Six, Baldini's lawyer, Brian Friedman, Ms. Lively and her team's predictable declaration of victory is false. So let us be clear about the latest ruling. While the court dismissed the defamation related claims, the court has invited us to amend four out of the seven claims against Ms. Lively, which will showcase additional evidence and refined allegations.

And, you know, he just continued on that his, the Lively's allegations are no truer today than they were yesterday. And with the facts on our side, we march forward with the same confidence that we had when Ms. Lively and her cohorts initiated this battle and look forward to her forthcoming deposition, which I will be taking. We are grateful for the organic show of support from the public. And the dedication of the internet sleuth community who continue to cover the case with discernment and integrity. That rubs me the wrong way, I think, when the lawyer is like thanking the internet for

putting that stuff out there you know I just I don't know I feel like that's doesn't need to be said but it's that's the show that this guy's been putting on it it seems like meanwhile lively's lawyers have been celebrating this decision as a total victory and complete vindication for the actress in a statement to page six the court saw right through this sham lawsuit was what they said they're looking forward to the next round which is seeking attorneys he's trouble damages and punitive damages over abusive litigation so

There we go. That's the full legal jargon of what went down. But yeah, I mean, of course, this has garnered mixed reactions from the public because those who support Justin feel very strongly one way. Those who support Blake think that this is a great thing. And at the end of the day, I mean, it's like if you take it through the legal system, it's like this is...

This is what they decide. Right. The judgment on the judge was like, I'm not going through with this one. Yeah. Yeah. It's very interesting. Yeah, it is. It is.

You learn a lot about what defamation, libel, all these things. It's like, oh, it's not defamation. I don't have much to say because I'm still trying to register everything about it. Right. You know, I'm like... Yeah. Reading all the details like, okay, all right. I'm just taking it in because I'm like, I'm still trying to figure out what it all means. So there's not a case. Got it. Right, right. So this was all for what, you know? So...

Very, very. Well, it's certainly not over. Not over. No. It's never going to be. Between these two, it's never going to be over. No. No. What were you going to say? Do you have something to say? No, no. I was just going to say that I thought. What a dramatic swing of the mic you just did. He swung the mic that way and then swung the mic the other way. Because I just said. Paddington Bear over there. No, I just. I didn't think it was going to be worth speaking on. But then I was just going to say, I felt like it wasn't as big of news as I thought it was going to be. Like it came out and then I just feel like.

It was such a big thing in the news for so long, and it was kind of like anti-climactic. I just think everyone's so sick of it, to be honest. I sort of agree with you. It was like there wasn't that large of a reaction. I think it was the opposite. Right. It's also not over. It's not over? Yeah. And they'll continue to fight Blake for sure. She did look extra happy on whatever carpet she was on that I saw last night. And her Instagram story, she was very happy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So...

No, I do. And I really do think people are just like pretty tired of hearing about this. Right. Like I saw the news too. And even just like the initial...

Posted on Instagram From all Like every entertainment outlet It's like all the comments Are like Can we be done with this Yeah I think everyone's In agreement You know And they're just They're kind of over the story At this point you know For sure Which is crazy Because it's obviously People's real lives Right Like it's like There's a lot of people affected Baldoni is still very much Dealing with this And you know Blake and Ryan Are very much still Dealing with this And like now People were so fucking invested And were like Berating them At every point

for both sides really and now everyone's like bah don't care yeah they're like all right well it's you know dismissed you're like bored boring bored now oh man crazy um all right that wraps up the topics

Welcome back to the Pop Corner where we're taking your voicemails, your hot takes, your opinions, whatever you want to talk about. Let's get into it. Noah, play the first voicemail. Hey guys, it's Victoria from Key West, Florida. I am confused why Dale Moss is on the beach this summer because he's been dating Gailey Alex. He's like a big TikToker, home designer.

For two years and I didn't know that they broke up. I think they did, but now he's been seen with Rummy Bader. So I don't know what is going on when he had time for the beach between all the rumors. But I think he's just trying to stay relevant and he needs to just find a job. Thanks, bye.

I'm sorry for my immediate guffaw, but there's Dale Moss and Remy Bader rumors? No, there's not. No, I feel like there's not. I think they're friends. Yeah, I think they're just friends. Dale and that girl have been broken up for a while, I will say. Not to be a Dale truther here, but I know for a fact that...

I remember seeing rumors that they broke up, I mean, maybe even like months and months ago. Yeah, and I feel like Remy has openly addressed... I feel like this happened months ago, maybe like a year ago, where people were like, Remy Bader and Dale, and she was like, we're just friends. Something like that. Why is that ringing a bell to me? I don't know, but I... But I have not seen recent Remy Bader and Dale Moss rumors. No, I have not either. And I'm... That's why I was like, also...

There's a long list. I actually think that that makes sense for why Dale would be going to the beach if he's like dating around New York. He's a single guy. He's a single guy. Yeah. He's certainly single. I actually think for him to be on the beach shows how single he is. Right. I agree. Right. Like he's clearly single if he's on that beach. I'm so single I might as well fucking go to paradise. Yeah, that's true. That is true. And it's been just enough time for him where...

It's like he was talked about so much and everything he did was watched in the Claire relationship, but the breakup and who he was dating after that and everything. And then it starts to quiet down and maybe he's uncomfortable in that silence, you know? Yeah. Right. He wants people talking about him again.

Wow. Hi, Ria and Fran. It's Naya from D.C. and Noah. Shout out to you, Noah. I have a bit of a hot take and a question. So I wanted to get into rewatching One Tree Hill, which I watched like back when I was in high school. And the hot take is I realized it is one of the worst shows to rewatch, period. And it was confusing because I loved watching One Tree Hill.

the first time around. So question is what show have you guys absolutely loved and went to rewatch and you realized like, oh, kind of terrible. And not just from like nostalgia sake, but like noticing an actually terrible show.

Thank you. Well, first of all, heartbreaking statement because One Tree Hill just gets better and better to me every time I watch it, in my opinion. I have my answer. I do too. You go first. Okay. You think it's probably the same? No. Oh. Because I don't think you watched this or if we've talked about it. Okay. So for me, I love it still and I will enjoy watching it. But the last time I did a Gossip Girl rewatch, I was like...

There's parts that are a struggle. Mm-hmm. You know? But it is like, it does have that nostalgia and there's so many crazy points that I was like, you're still so locked in. But objectively, when you step out of it, you're kind of like, wait a second. I can agree with that. 90210. Mm.

That's a good one. I don't think I really ever gave 90210 like a full rewatch. Like I watched it completely when it was on air. That's what I remember talking about then. Like I loved it when it was on air. And I definitely want to say I've maybe tried. Do we rewatch it and have given up like very quickly? Yeah. At first, I tried rewatching it recently and at first I was in and then I was out. I was like, this is way harder to watch this time around. Yeah.

so yeah that's one of them for me yeah i think that's so fair yeah i think that's so fair the oc on the other hand is every time yeah that's a rewatch that's a rewatch that hits in my opinion one trio is for me too honestly like i it's that's also there like a gray's anatomy like i could start from the beginning all the time also you know um but yeah yeah i think gospel girl's probably good question i would love to see other people's answers on that

Hey gals and Noah. Okay, so not really quite sure that I understand what an industry plant is, but my hot take is that I think Lucy Hale is one. I feel like she's been in like a gazillion movies that are never in theaters and that I've never seen, but she's

always like promoting a movie and so then I looked she's got like 23 million followers on Instagram what what I have 20 how do you have 20 little liars biggest phenomenon yeah that's all I've ever seen her in so curious to see who you think like could be an industry plan you know whatever that means and thoughts on Lucy Hale thanks bye love you

you know i think we may have different definitions of industry yeah i agree because i would imagine that if you're an interesting plan you're actually just like tossed into a bunch of like mega blockbusters and not like small director streaming movies um and then i actually think lizzie hale's grinding and like you know she's she's getting jobs and she's working and i've actually loved a lot of the movies that

She's done. The Hating Game, big fan. She did a couple other ones that I really loved. And yeah, I don't really think that she's an industry plant at all. I think she kind of like works her ass off. Yeah, the industry plant would meaning like somebody who miraculously appears out of nowhere with this fame that they don't even know where it came from. Whereas like Lucy Hale, you can pinpoint it was Pretty Little Liars.

I think we forget how big Pretty Little Liars was. Pretty Little Liars was so ginormous. And that's what happens with these shows. Think about Outer Banks. Those kids have millions of followers just solely from Outer Banks alone. Right, and I feel like Lucy Hale was really the star of that show. I feel like as an actor, she was brought up the most.

Maybe that's just how I remember it. But I just feel like she was such a big focus of that. I mean, Ashley Benson also has 23 million Instagram followers. And so does Lucy Hale. And gosh, I do always forget what the other girl's name was that's married to the guy from Suits. Troy? Troy-in. Oh, Troy-in. Yeah, Troy-in. T-R-O-I-A-N. Yes. Yeah.

16 million I mean Right That's still An insane amount And when's the last time You saw her at something Right exactly You know I just like struggled To come up with her first name Right 16 million Right 16 million Pretty Little Liars Pretty Little Liars

Massive, massive, massive. Now that's one maybe I would re-watch just because I haven't watched it since it aired on TV. That's a good one. I haven't either and I also would love to maybe watch the whole thing in its entirety because I gave up. I gave up too. I think I stopped watching after season...

Same boat as you. I was like, I don't know how much I can keep up with this. Maybe three or four, somewhere in there. I felt that about Riverdale recently too. I was like, damn, I would actually like to know how Riverdale came to an end because I stopped watching that too. And when it first came out, it was appointment television. Oh my God. Season one of Riverdale. Amazing. I felt that way about Pretty Little Liars. Amazing. It was premiering in the end of summer. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

You know that new Amazon show is coming out I'm really excited for off the book. We Were Liars. I think that comes out in like two weeks. Not even. I think it comes out next week. The 18th I think it is. The second season of that? No, the first one. Oh, I was going to give one of us is lying. No, different. Okay. This is We Were Liars. Gotcha. Gotcha. Yes. A lot of lying. I know. I just think it's actually like a perfect little warm up to Summer I Turn Pretty season three. Like Amazon Prime's doing this one first. Can you believe they're doing one episode at a time?

I didn't see that. I saw that. One episode per week, apparently. Did they do that for the second season? I kind of think they might have. So we won't know until October. No, they didn't. No, because I remember getting a screener for the second season. And that's why. We got to watch them all. Yes. Yeah. Yeah.

But maybe the second season also came out week to week, but we got screeners. Yeah, that's true. Not to brag. Right. Humble brag. Shit. I hope we get. Never mind. No, take this out. Right. No, I would love to get those screeners again. Keep us on that list. Thank you. People are not happy about that.

Yeah I wouldn't be either I mean I would want to Immediately watch them all I want to get my status Like I want the ending ASAP Right So It's gonna be a while What a build up That's gonna be For sure But Justice for Lucy Hale I mean I Right I think she's great I think she's great And not an industry plant No You know who I think An industry plant is Is this girl Kelly texted us about her The other day Jess Murph

Oh. She's fucking huge. She came out of nowhere. Yes. And then I was looking her up. She did the Sports Illustrated runway. She sang. And

Yep, yep, yep. I listened to her song. Her song's great. She's very like Amy Winehouse vibes. She had a song, it was like on New Music Friday. Once I look at her Instagram, 1.5 million followers. I was like, where, am I under a rock? Yeah, sometimes people- Or is she just, because I think it happens a lot more in music where they just pick someone and they're like- People thought Dochi, a lot of people are saying Dochi for a while. Yeah, I remember that. I remember that. But it's like sometimes, it just happens whenever someone is like so clearly-

thrown into new music like rapidly and you're like wow you're like whoa this came out of nowhere I haven't seen her now I see her everywhere but other people have probably been listening yeah for sure you know who's not an I wouldn't say people are saying she's an industry plant but people are like

you know the whole propaganda like i'm not falling for this that whole thing yeah uh addison ray being like a music star and now people are like she's an actual pop star like there's a ton of people like i'm seeing the side of the internet that's like are we actually like is this a serious thing that she's like that they're like they're saying they're not falling for her being a pop star yeah like she got a great score from like pitchfork on her new album and people like are randomly now starting to say like they're her favorite pop star like not in a joking way like

I actually would say that's propaganda I am following for I think she is a pop star same I think she has all the makings of a pop star I absolutely think she's a pop star are you listening to her music you're like let me put on some Addison I actually well it just came her album just came out I was literally listening to the new album on my walk to work today so yeah you know what and honestly a lot of them pretty catchy yeah you can't just write her off just because she started off on it no I'm not she's worth it for Die Pepsi alone right it's true

- Very, very true. - Like, pop star, sorry. All right, let's do one more. - Hi, Rhea and Fran. I love listening to you guys and also hi to Olive if she's there in studio. She's so cute. Oh, that's my dog barking and she actually looks just like Olive. Anyway, I was wondering because I got married back in October, so right around when you guys kind of were going through it all and I'm wondering what you guys are planning on doing with your wedding photos.

whether you were going to make a photo book or kind of just frame them and hang them all up. I'm kind of just looking for ideas because so far mine are just on my phone and I haven't done anything with them yet. So let me know what you guys are planning on doing. Anything creative. Thanks. Bye girls. Good question. Um, I'm in the same boat as you. I have them like all on my phone and I haven't done anything. I haven't done anything permanent with them at all. A couple of them are framed in our apartment. Um, and around Christmas, um,

I everybody got a wedding photo for Christmas. Like I used whatever. I think I might have used frame bridge or something and just like framed every relative was getting their their picture, which was which was great. But then I saved a couple of them for for myself. And yeah, I have that. What was really cool was my photographer friend.

As a gift. She's just the greatest. Shout out Emma. She sent...

Like it looks like a coffee table book and you open it and it's a photo album and it's all the film pictures that she took, which was really, really cool. So we have that. Right. And that's like out on our coffee table so that like you could go through that. But the all the other wedding, I don't I don't I would love to do like an official big album. But I also sometimes I feel like people don't do that as much these days.

Yeah, I mean, you can really do whatever you want. I feel like I'm not trying to be like so creative with it. Like we have some framed. We have one big frame with like florals around it, like in the frame. And then plan on making a print in a book and, you know, see like I don't have any grand idea of like something, you know, maybe it'll come to me one day. Yeah. And I have a few, like I said, I have a few in your apartment. I think it's like.

I think it's so normal to have a few like beautiful photos up in your where you where you live or whatnot. I don't I'm not personally one to do like a big like wall of wedding photos. But, you know, when you have sometimes you have these grand photos, you can make this huge, beautiful picture. I think it looks so, so, so nice.

And yeah, I don't really think you have to go to. Yeah, you have to go do whatever you want. You can make a photo album. You can make a coffee table book. You can just frame them. Yeah. You know, right. I don't have any like out of the box idea. Yeah. Yeah. I know some some of my friends are cute. They've done like full scrapbooks like themselves. Yeah. Like other things that they've kept from their wedding.

whether it's like the invitations or the programs or like little bits and pieces of things that they have, that they have then also printed out some of their official wedding photos. Or like a memory box. Yeah. You know, exactly. Yeah. That'd be, even just that is cute too. So I have a couple, I have two memory boxes, but she could put a bunch of things in there, but yeah. Yeah. I don't think you have to get too crazy with it. Whatever your heart desires, you know? Yep. Totally. All right. That wraps up the pop corner.
