Weekend was lovely for me. I was up at Martha's Vineyard, went to our best friend's wedding. Beautiful, gorgeous. It did rain, which, you know, been there. So it was totally fine. And everything turned out so stunning. Gia was supposed to watch Olive. Gia got bronchitis. Really like a bad case of bronchitis. She went to urgent care. They freaked her out.

Terrified her told her she could have pneumonia or like a pulmonary embolism and like she thought she was gonna die from blood-caught She's like on the phone sobbing to my mom. My mom's in the video, but I was like, all right I'm getting like my mom got on a plane. Mm-hmm went to be with Gia So she was so my mom was in my apartment all weekend and Sunday. I'm coming home Gia calls me. I'm like literally in the uber on the way home from the airport and

She's like, mom was walking Olive. She got into something. I don't know. Distracted. There was another dog. I don't know. I don't really know what the full story is. Are they lying? Walked into a pole. Your mom walked into a pole? Walked into a pole. Sorry, I don't mean to laugh at the way you're telling this story. Well, because there's some missing puzzle pieces, and I don't know if she's telling me the full story, but she says- She doesn't want you to know that she was distracted while walking the dog. I think she was on her phone. She doesn't want to say she was on her phone. Oh, for sure. But she-

And she's going to listen to this and get mad at me now. But she said she was, like, Olive's fine with other dogs, but with other, like, small dogs, if they start yapping at her, she's like, uh-uh. So another dog was walking by her, my mom said. It was a small dog. So, like, she said she was trying to pull Olive over to the side and hit her head on something.

But then I honestly walked past where she was. Her mom hit her head, not Olive. No, no, it was my mom. My mom hit her head. And like, I went to where it was. You went to go scope out the scene? Yes, because I couldn't. The way she was describing it, I was like, what are you talking about? Because she was like, well, I walked into like the poles that are outside like a window.

I was like, I just don't get that. You were walking straight into the window? Like, how do you hit the bars that are over a window? She was on her phone. Except, except, no, I will say, in her defense, this building, the bars, like, stuck out. And they were like, definitely, even still, I'm not quite sure. I took a picture. That was, like, that. Oh, oh, okay.

She just walked right into that? Apparently. She said she had her hat on low. She couldn't see. Interesting. Hit her head. So, no, she smacks her face. And then she said she fell. What? And she rolled her ankle. Oh, my God. It's a whole disaster. She can't walk. What? Yeah. She's got her foot up in my apartment. It's not good. It's not good. She hit her face, like, right here. Oh, my God. I know.

So I'm like, I get home. I was like, what the fuck happened? She was like, walked around the corner. Not good. And you know when you're a parent, they're like, I don't want to go to the emergency. Like, I don't want to go. I'm like, we're like, okay. She doesn't want to go to the emergency room. So she's supposed to go back to the vineyard, but she can't move. Oh my God. She's hobbling around. Well, that's awful. Not good. I wake up this morning.

I let Olive out of her crate. She jumps onto the couch. Peas. Oh, gosh. All over. I'm like, oh, my God. Oh, my God. Like, my mom's in my bed. It's madness in your apartment right now. I'm pulling apart my couch cushions. Oh, God. Like, washing them, doing the whole thing. Madness in the apartment. She's looking at me like, I know I made a mistake. She's like, I think she has some sort of...

So there's some deeper issues there, I think, that we have to work through. But then my mom gets up. She's like, what happened? She's still asleep. Oh, my gosh. I'm like, oh. She was perfectly fine when I was watching her. I was like, oh, no. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.

So it's madness in my apartment right now. It does sound like absolute madness. Absolute madness. But besides everybody else, like, you know, lovely wedding that I was at. You had a good time this weekend. Absolutely lovely wedding. Great band, great party, great music, great food. Seafood.

Oh my God. The oyster bar, they almost had to turn me away. I kept going over there. Oh my God. The oysters were fresh and delicious. I was literally standing at the table just eating them. That sounds amazing. Joe was making jokes to the guy. He was like, you have to get my wife off. That's amazing. But they were so good. They were so good. That sounds delightful. Yeah. I know. I know. Besides all the madness that's going on. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

craziness in the in the household this this Monday morning how are you I'm good I was a little under the weather this weekend not gonna lie it seems like a lot of people were under the weather yeah I mean Gia did go to the hospital and and she got tested for everything you know it ended up being okay and she it told her she had bronchitis um

But so a lot of people a lot of people are sick I was a lot of people a lot of my friends were also sick last week, too I was really not well on Saturday like well, you know security Mike did tell us that influenza B is going around Yeah, I'd something I I was just really not well like really didn't feel well But I woke up Sunday feeling better Matt had an all-time mess up at brunch yesterday all-time mess up Okay

Because I was really not feeling well on Saturday. So Sunday morning, he's like, do you feel better? Like, let's go. Let's get out of the apartment. Like, let's go do something like whatever. So we go to a brunch place we've never been to before. Just me and him. And I'm feeling better. I'm like, oh, like, we're really excited about the food. We got French toast to share. We got a smash burger to share, fries to share, like the whole thing. We got some Arnie Pommies. Like, we were all very, we were very excited to eat.

This man knocks both of our waters over. All over the food. Oh.

all over me none of it hit him all over the our food was in a puddle of water the whole it was all damaged yeah I was soaked so at that point I'm like we gotta go like I can't sit here now I'm wet the table's wet we gotta get out we're gonna pay the bill and just go to a different restaurant we gotta flee the scene like I was like we gotta get the hell out of here so we called the waitress over and we're like we're gonna go like

Obviously we cleaned up everything, got paper towels. She was like, do you want me to just put the order in again? I was like, no. I was like, no, I'm wet. We got to get out of here. But it was raining. She was like, well, at least it's raining outside. So, you know, you're already wet. You know what?

Good point. Silver lining. We were driving home. Matt's like, I ruined the weekend. I ruined the fucking weekend. And I was like, I mean, I'm not going to say that you didn't just ruin our lunch. You did. You know, it was an accident, but you definitely probably looked so good. No, the food.

The food looked so good until it didn't because, you know, we had just squeezed ketchup onto the plate of fries. Like we were whatever. And it just was... I know. I literally was like, I got to get out of here because I'm going to throw up looking at this food covered in water right now. So that was a minor setback on Sunday morning that he found. So he was just like, I can't believe I ruined the weekend. I can't believe it. I was like... But I was egging it on. I was like, gosh, I just...

was really looking forward to that burger and fries. Like, it just was really looking forward to it. He made up for it, though, made dinner Sunday night. So, you know, it came back full circle Sunday night and everything was just fine. What did he make? He made a cod. He made a lemon. Delightful. A nice cod with some lemon buttery sauce and asparagus. We walked off the aisle to sign still delivered I'm yours and it started thundering no rain just thunder and lightning magical.

I will never suppress my emotions for someone. Conflict is a part of relationship. If you don't like my anger, you don't like me. My anger is a response to pain I have been through. And then they had to stop and they had pulled Paige out. And by that time, I guess, I don't know why they couldn't just continue to have her there. It was very confusing. I don't know. Maybe they were just filming for so long that it was like. Right. Maybe the challenge was just going so long. Maybe she had to catch a flight. There was. Yeah. Like maybe it was just like she had a certain amount of time. Yeah. Very. I don't know. It was. It was weird. And then it was weird to like not address it in any way. Right. Like it was like.

She was doing it and announcing everybody and then it went back to being like voiceover. Right. It was very, very confusing and kind of weird. But they continued on with the challenge. And they both got up there and voted for Huda to leave. And I was so scared for them.

These two are not good for each other, or they at least have to explore other options to then decide if they should be together because they've just been locked in since day one, which happens every season where a couple –

Love Island, I will grade it an A- right now. I feel like it's getting really... Yes, I mean, Sunday's episode really jacked it up. It jacked it up from a B- to an A-. It's getting good. I think it'll get even better. But we already talked all about that. Love Island UK, I'm all caught up for the episodes that are on Hulu. There's four episodes on Hulu. Five today, actually. I'll have to watch that later. I'm going to give B+. It's really good so far, in my opinion. Yeah, I'm on episode three.

I won't spoil anything yet, but I think it's really good so far. I think the people are interesting. They have a new element to this season where they have a hideaway where two people who are not in a couple together can sneak off to the hideaway and sleep together. And that just adds a whole other layer because people are sneaking out of their couples and going to sleep in the bed together.

No invite needed, it says. So that adds another layer. It does. Very, very interested in this season. You know what I kind of don't like, though? Like, I know that they do it on the other ones a lot. It's like, okay, obviously, you know, on U.S., like, they brought Charlie in. Like, all these other things. I'm like...

I don't need a girl from Vegas on Love Island UK. And she seems fine, no offense to Tony. She's a pretty girl. But when they brought her in and she was like, I'm shaking it up, America, Vegas, the whole thing, I'm like, ugh.

See, like Love Island UK is the one where we don't need other people. Like we don't need Americans on Love Island UK. I had the same exact reaction. I was like, get this girl off the show. I watch Love Island UK for a reason and it's because there are no Americans. Right, to get away from the Americans. We want to be away from the Americans. I like when there's foreigners on the US. Yeah, I'm fine with that. We welcome that. We want more. Love Island.

I said, yep, that's how it works. I could just prance onto a TV show. Yeah. How come they didn't call you? I think he thinks because there were two bars with people on that they were doing an open cast and calling this office. Yeah, right, right, right. Like he was like, you couldn't. Also, Francis was on season one, right? Yeah. And he's like, you couldn't get a part? I was like, what? What? I was literally getting mad. I literally was like, I gotta go. What do you mean? But I enjoyed this season more than the first. It's funny. It's funny.

I'm not raving about it, though. I think it's fine. So I will give it a B. You know, quick telly. That is what I watched, I believe. We watched one episode of The Better Sister. Like, we had watched the first three. I think I talked about it two weeks ago. But we have only watched one more. I watched the hack season finale as well, actually.

I'll give it a B. This wasn't my favorite season really at all, but I just love the show so much and I love the characters. I get attached to them. So I'll give the hack season finale a B and that's it for now. I was so out of it on Saturday. So like sick for some reason that Matt was just watching a bunch of sports and I was like, I don't know what's going on. I was in and out of sleep all day. That's so fine. Love Island. I'll give it a B.

Solid. Yeah. It's, I mean, it was like B plus territory, like Thursday, Friday's episode. But, but Sunday really, yeah.

Took it to another level. I want to change mine to an A. I think I was being A- to hold myself back. I'm obsessed with the show. I was on the edge of my seat on Sunday. I can't wait for the episode to come out. Change mine to A. I'm trying to be like, ooh, there's room for growth. It's an A. I've only watched one to three of Love Island UK. But I'm also definitely in on it. I'm excited to see what happens next.

No offense to Tony. Seems like a lovely girl. Put her on Love Island US. Right. It's just not a match on the UK. I wonder if ITV casting was like, you know what? We're going to send her to the UK. Trying to spare my mom a little bit because I was just watching Nonstop Love Island and then I was like, am I going to also now make her watch UK? Yeah. Then I've only watched the first two episodes of Tires. Not a lot of TV time for me last week. Honestly, Love Island takes up so much time, you know? I watched the first two episodes. I'll give it a B. I was laughing. You know, same kind of vibe. But I've only watched the first two. And then Joe and I started Your Friends and Neighbors. Watched episodes one to three, I think. Yeah, I think one to three. Very good.

I like it so far. Somehow it hasn't really been spoiled for me in any way. He's a pretty bad thief in my like initial watch. That's my feedback, you know.

Seems like it's not going to go. Obviously, you obviously see how it starts, but it seems like it's not going to go well for him. Pretty lazy thief. But it is very good. I love Jon Hamm. I think Amanda P is amazing. Her and Olivia Munn, I think, are great. So I'll give that a B plus. And that's everything. That's all I watched.

Love Island just, you know, it's consuming. Yeah, I mean, once we go double up US and UK, it's like... It's consuming. It's a lot of time. It's hard work. Exactly. It is. I got even less than you guys. Really? I have Love Island, obviously. I'll give that an A as well. And then I have... I started the new Owen Wilson show on Apple TV. I saw that. I want to start that. Strike? Or no, stick? Yeah, strike. Stick. It's about golf, right? Yeah. I actually am very much enjoying it. I think I'm like three or four in.

I'll give that a B+. It's like a classic Owen Wilson character. Would you recommend? I would definitely recommend. It's number one on Apple TV. Yeah. And I'm not a big golf guy, but I don't think you have to be to watch it. Right. Yeah, I think I'm not sure what his name is, but the kid who's

Mine was out at 8.30 and the last time I texted everyone that it was out early, no one answered. So I said, fuck it. I'm not telling anybody it's out early anymore. Well, I wasn't able to watch the night that you sent. It was Friday night. Did you send it Friday or Thursday? No, Thursday. Thursday?

No, Thursday. It was Tuesday. Tuesday. I told, and then I said it's out early. I got it spoiled. I was pissed. Yeah. No, I didn't fast forward. Mine was out. No, I mean, that's tough because when people start at nine and then if people watch early, then yeah, you're going to get it spoiled. No, mine was out at 8.32. Wow. Yeah. I checked because I remember I put something else on after I left. I feel like it makes sense that the Sunday episodes will get out earlier because they have it ready. Well, because I was also going to say it was a long time.

It was an hour and 20 minutes. Yeah, but I'm saying they have that edited. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, my suggestion to everybody is to always check at 8.30 because that's what I've been doing and mine has been out. And then I feel like I'm ahead though. I'll be writing things to people and they're not there yet. When you texted, what a fucking episode. I checked the timestamp that you sent it. I was like, she must be fast forwarding through parts. Mine was just so early.
