And it was very nice not to dive into the weather too much, but Sunday turned out to be a sneaky, beautiful day at the beach. Yeah, it just creeped on up. And it looked like it was supposed to be cloudy and rainy, and it was a little when we woke up, and then the sun just appeared. It rose to the occasion. And it was so nice. It was a lovely weekend. We went out Thursday night, which was fun. Yes, we did. Because we had the Love Island event. Mm-hmm.

Guys, I did see, we saw Rob in the flesh. Yeah.

Can I just say, I'm going to give my total honest opinion about Rob. He thinks he's too cool for school, in my personal opinion. And I will say this, I've heard what the Islanders have to say about him. They say he's a good guy, a nice guy, and I'm sure he is. I'm sure he is, but the energy that he was giving off at that event was...

I'm too cool for school. 100%. Which is, you know, he's probably tired. He also could have been wildly uncomfortable. I'm not. You know, it's just like one of those things where it's like... It's like...

And then when you're giving off that energy, then I'm just like, well, now I'm now I don't because I don't want to make it worse. Yeah. And I actually think that there's a fine line in between like maybe somebody has social anxiety and they're tired and they've been filming a ton of things. Yeah. And then like sometimes that can come across as like too cool for school. But really, they're just awkward. Yeah. So that might be. Yeah. Like the situation at hand. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah, we didn't, you know, it was just one of those things where we were like, they're supposed to be doing videos and stuff. And then neither was like, oh, he's like done with videos. It's like, okay. Yeah, we had a schedule where, yeah, we were sent a schedule to film certain things. Yeah. And he, and like he was on our schedule to film something with him. And then we got told he was content out. Which is, it is what it is. Everybody else was fantastic. So yeah. Yeah.

And love chatting with everybody. They're so fun. And they're having quite the time. They're having the time of their lives. And they're all so sweet and so much fun. And I'm wishing them all the best. Because the Love Island USA Season 6 is coming to an end tonight because of the reunion. And we're going to close...

And this is the end of an era. Yeah. We'll remember it fondly. We will. And I'm scared. I'm scared that we'll never have something like this again. I'm worried. It's fine. We probably won't. I'm worried. And it's fine. You know? Sometimes you just... You can't...

you can't recapture the magic like that. And you just have to remember it for how it was. You're right. Just remember the good times. Exactly. Remember the good times we had. appreciate it for what it is and not always go back to season six exactly but i'm very excited for the reunion tonight and then after uh the little happy hour on thursday we went to a lovely dinner a nice little double date delicious little dinner yep um really enjoyed myself it was delicious um i was cracking up because i was thinking about it later this weekend but we when we got to the restaurant it was totally full

And we had a late reservation. So, like, we were in the back room and it started to trickle. It started to trickle out. It started to empty. Right? So, like, the four corners of the room all had tables. And, of course, there were all people in between. But those people all started to leave. And there was a certain point during our dinner that I...

Gasped. Not only did you gasp, you fell back. Yes. You fell. Because it was a gasp and fall back. I mid conversation. Swore. Could have sworn.

My ex-boyfriend was sitting at one of the tables on the other side of the room. And the way we were sitting was like a corner table booth where it's like a round, you know what I'm saying? It's a U shape. So we're all looking out to the room and...

I was cracking up because my first initial glance was like, oh my God, it's him. Then we proceeded to stare for like 30 minutes. I stared so hard at this guy. I stared so hard. I was like, oh wait guys, actually I don't think it's him. I don't think it's him. And then we were like, we were like looking up old pictures.

And Matt's like, I don't know. It kind of could be him. He was really feeding into it. But then it was so funny because then we're staring at this kid. It was not him, but we end up staring at this kid for so long that now he's just staring back. He's staring back because he's like, why is this entire table staring at me? And we're like,

giggling about him we're staring we're literally looking at a phone we're looking at pictures of him pointing at him looking at the phone truly like not being discreet about it at all treating him like he's a zoo animal we are literally pointing and talking about this man that turns out wasn't

- Was not him. - Not Fran's ex-boyfriend. - Was not him. - But for the rest of the dinner was us just trying to decipher if it was your ex-boyfriend or not. - Yes, and we, I mean, it was very funny. - The way that, like, I almost wish it was him because the way that you fell back into your chair, like, oh my God, that's my ex-boyfriend. - Well, just like, you know sometimes when you just see a ghost.

it's your you're you're surprised yeah right you were you were very surprised yeah and um it added a little bit of excitement to the dinner although it wasn't although it was not him was not him was yeah um which was yeah which was funny yeah very shout out our also our great waitress loved her stella stella she was awesome yeah she was awesome she was such a delight and i she was like i'm gonna i'm

you know we were in emmets on grove by the way we didn't even say yeah i've never yeah emmets on grove i've never been there before that was my first time but um

and it's one of those people places that people like really hype up so i had to try it at least once you know um everything we had it was delicious but stella was like um you know it's the end of the night like you're getting laid back stella and i was like you should be laid back all the time you know end of the night who cares let your hair down end of the night we're easy going i know we were we were had some nice nice good food

It was delicious. Good food, good company. But yeah, that was a little added extra entertainment to the rest of the evening. You know, it's always like, it's like those moments where you're like, I'm in a TV show. Yeah. You know?

and joe's so funny like he's like oh is it i'm gonna go up and introduce yeah joe's like i want to meet this guy and i was like oh my god i hope it's him like this would just be if you're gonna go up and introduce yourself you selfishly were like oh my god i can't i'm gonna get to sit here and watch this no i was like and that's why matt kept going like i think it's him i think it's him joe i think it's him i think you gotta go say hi and like this guy just wasn't him at all

Just what, just after we really got a good look, we were like, this is just not fucking him. And also, you know, like sometimes when you see somebody and they're sitting down and

And then they stand up. You just see them in a totally different way. And you're just like, oh, that's so not him. Once he stood up, you were like, no. Yeah. Couldn't be. But we were really cracking up because whoever this guy is was probably like, why the fuck is this table staring at me? Like, what is going on? Well, in his head. Why are they staring at me? Who knows if maybe there was, he could have recognized Marty. Like, who knows what could have happened too. Could have been us. He's like, why the fuck are these people staring at me? I know. And honestly, he's probably like, damn, they're mistaking me for a famous person. Like.

Like, you know, he's probably like, oh my God, like who do they think I am? We're in the West Village. I could be anybody. So that was very fun. I had a very, like, very, very low-key weekend. Kind of basically did nothing for the most part. That's so nice, though. Yeah, it was beautiful. It's good to do that. Some of my friends came over Friday night, super chill, just hung out on my couch, ate some good food.

talk you know just super chill Matt was at a bachelor party so Saturday I was gonna come to Long Island yeah but then I was like you know what I I'm always going somewhere like always on the go I always I get I feel you sometimes it's good to just be like I'm staying yeah and I was like you know what I texted Fran I was like

I just looked at how long it's going to take me to get there. And the weather is about to change. It's going to get cloudy and rainy. And I'm going to drive two hours. And all of a sudden, I'm going to have to turn around. Yeah. You missed the window. Yeah. There was like a five-hour window where it was nice. Mm-hmm.

And then, like, it got rainy and cloudy. And by the time you would have gotten there, it would have been too late. Right. And I was like, you know what? I'm not putting myself through this. I'm not putting myself through the two-hour drive to get there and all of a sudden it's raining. And I'm like, fuck. Why did I just sit in the car for two hours just to drive back home? So I had truly a lovely day to myself on Saturday where I just –

Relax. I went for a walk around Jersey City and I watched a proposal happen. And it was, I got all these videos. But I was walking. Did you like offer to send them to them? Well, once you. Oh, they had a full production. No, listen. Once you see the videos, I'll show you.

They didn't need me. They didn't need mine because this is what happened. I was walking and I'm at this point. I'm like oblivious because I didn't even see that there was something in the distance. But I hear this couple that's literally right behind me and she's going, oh my God. Oh my God. I see flowers and she starts freaking out and she's like, we I want to put my heels on. I want to put my heels on and she's like, oh my God, I see the sign and I'm like, oh my

my god I'm standing there but now I see it there's big marry me sign lit up lots of flowers a whole archway I had just I didn't even realize and they're freaking out behind me she's freaking out and I'm like oh my god we gotta get out of the way we gotta get out of the way right here

So I pull over to the side and then I'm like, well, I kind of want to watch. So I like scurry on by really fast. And I find myself a little, a little, you know, spot where I can watch where I'm not in the way. And it was really interesting how it went down. They had their whole group of friends waiting at this spot, like screaming phones out. They had like two photographers, uh,

They were yelling. They had champagne ready. So like before he even got down on one knee, they were all waiting, like cheering. It was a whole thing. Then I watched this whole thing happen. Then they took pictures, right? Interesting. So their whole group of friends was there. It was all prior to him even getting down on one knee. Yes, it was backwards from anything I've ever seen before. It was still beautiful though. I teared up watching it from afar. No, it's so nice, but like can you even hear what you're...

boyfriend setting yeah well everyone was cheering whatever and then they took pictures in front of the archway holding flowers and everything before he got down on one knee and then they were like okay do it do it they're like

and then he did it he got down on one knee yeah and it was really short he was like will you marry me like I heard this very loud and then she said yes and that was it they were all cheering and yelling and it was so backwards from any proposal I've ever seen before but they were all so happy and it was such a lovely moment that is nice it was really nice but I was like oh so everybody's a part of the proposal everybody yeah everybody's a part of like you know they're cheering him on to get down on one knee right um

So it was really exciting. And then I get back to my building. So I went on like an hour walk and I was like, okay, I'm going to go back to my gym building, the gym in my building, and I'm going to just finish off my workout. And there's a full engagement party happening on my amenity floor.

separate from that proposal. And I was like, you know what? This is beautiful. - This is prime time, Saturday in August. - It was beautiful. I was like, oh my God, I'm surrounded by love. Surrounded by love in every area. This is gorgeous. - Love is in the air. - Yeah, 'cause I had such a relaxing day by myself and I was like, oh my God, but all these beautiful celebrations are happening around me. - That's so nice. - How gorgeous.

And then went back to my apartment, had one of those, you know, like really good everything showers where you just like, yeah, all did like I tried that like viral collagen face mask thing. Yeah, it was good. You know, I'm not like going crazy about it. I saw that. I saw the video you made. And that's my question is people sleep with it on all night. You sleep with it on all night.

Or you could just wear it for three hours or four hours before bed. I don't know. Right. But like that to me, how do you sleep with that on your face?

Halfway through the night, I ripped it off my face. So that's my answer. I don't know how other... I think other people sleep up. They just sleep like they're in a coffin. Yeah. Sometimes I wake up on my back like that and I'm like, ooh, that's nice. But a lot of times I'm on my side. Totally. But yeah, I ripped it off mid... Yeah, yeah. But on top of that... It seems uncomfortable to sleep in. Besides all the wonderful shower and everything, I started re-watching

Love Island season five UK because of the news. Why? You just wanted to torture yourself like that? Yeah, I wanted to go back and watch. You masochist. What is it when you just love pain? Masochist. Isn't it masochist? Yeah, I think so. I don't want to fuck that up, but I'm pretty sure. I know.

I think it is too. Oh, masochist is a person who derives sexual gratification from their own pain or humiliation. So, no, but I understood what you were trying to say. I just, not even just that, I just like missed the drama. Like I was like, oh my God, it's been a couple of years since I've seen this. Like the Amber recoupling. Yeah, yeah. The fucking Anna and Jordan stuff. Like let me just, the Curtis. Curtis. Watching it back.

At the time, I think we had the wrong people side. Okay? Like, I think if this season came out now, we all would have been fucking, like, so mad at Mora for going after Curtis. Right, right, right, right. But because Mora was so likable and such a fun character...

Nobody was that mad that Maura went after Curtis after him and Amy split up. But if that happened like on this season of Love Island USA, people would have fucking lost their minds at Maura. You know what I mean? But watching it back, I was like, holy fuck.

It really was like Amy and Curtis ended. Then Maura was like, I want him to teach me how to dance. And like, then they were together. I was like, oh my God, this is crazy. So yeah, I started rewatching that and I'm quite enjoying it actually. But you know, obviously the Molly Mae and Tommy Fury stuff is crazy.

Quite upsetting, it is. Yeah. You know? Yeah. It's upsetting. And the moment when she comes back from Casa Amor and he's standing there with Ellie Belly. Ugh. I can't believe they didn't win. I think that's still shocking. Molly Mae and Tommy Fury didn't win that season. It's like, how could anybody see otherwise than their pure love for each other? I mean, not now, obviously. Well, yeah, because I think it was...

I think it was different now looking back because granted we know what happened but for years they were together so it was like oh they do love each other like you know it was kind of like proven because at the time remember when we were all watching everyone was like they're so young like are their intentions

Well, I think people thought that Molly Mae had bad intentions. Yeah, they did. But I thought that they loved each other very clearly while watching it at the time. Like, I thought that they really liked each other. But that was like the online chatter, you know? Like, that's... It's hard to... It's hard... Like, that's what everyone was saying in the UK at the time. Yeah, that is true. So sometimes it's hard to, like, break out of that. Right. Just watching it back now. And I will say...

matt was flying into la guardia and i would he get did he fly in last night yeah yeah and he was able to yeah he was able to his flight was earlier than all the cancellations which was good but i he you know we all know my driving at the airport isn't fantastic we've talked about this i literally just saw him like it's not like obviously he made it yeah obviously he made it home he's yeah i know i kind of forgot about that part

But we all have discussed my airport driving is not fantastic. So, you know, every time he's coming back from a flight, which has been often lately because he's been traveling for work and then had a bachelor party this weekend. So he's always like, you know, I'll just Uber. Like, we know like he's like, I'd rather you be in a good mood. See you and not like, you know, angry road rage at the airport. Yeah.

So yesterday I was like, oh, I'm going to surprise. He thinks he's going to take an Uber home. I'll just surprise him at the airport. And that didn't work out because I got, well, I ended up getting him. Yeah. But he, I thought I was ahead of the game. Like I, I was going to be early and then I got stuck in the worst fucking traffic.

And he texted me, he landed. And I was still like 25 minutes away. And I was like, I am so sorry. I have to tell you, I'm on my way to the airport right now. I can't turn around and go home because I'm also 30 something minutes away from home. But I'm also like almost 30 minutes away from you. Do you want me to? And he was like, no. So you have to wait for me now. No. And I was like, listen, if you want to just get an Uber. And he was like, no, no, please still come. Like, I don't care how long I wait. Like, I'd rather.

I'd rather see you like- You're already in the car. You're already in the car. I'd rather see you and have you come. But like-

"You know, it's okay, you're in traffic. "Don't worry." 'Cause I was getting worked up 'cause I was like, "Fuck, my surprise is ruined." I wanted it to be like, "Oh, I landed, oh, I'm outside." And I was like, "Instead, you have to wait 25 minutes "until I'm there." But the purpose was still there. The intent to surprise was there. But unfortunately, I couldn't execute the surprise in the way that I wanted it to. But I collected my thoughts, I collected myself in traffic and I said,

do not get worked up. Did I get flipped off on the way there? Yes, I did. I did get flipped off, but I didn't let it control me. No, I didn't let it control me. And I said, huh,

It's going to be okay when you get to the airport and don't let this take over your mood. A Sunday in the summer too, like you're going to hit traffic. Oh, the traffic was, it was so bad. But I, you know, I'm learning. I said, you know what? Calm thoughts. I accepted that middle finger and I said, have a nice day, sir. It was a woman, ma'am. And I accepted it with a smile. I said, you know what? Thank you. I'll collect this one in my pocket and just go on my way.

And there I was happy to greet my fiance at the airport. Oh, that's so nice. And made our way back home. Obviously, we switched spots. I didn't drive home. And that was back to being a nice passenger princess where I belong. Yeah. And he said to me, look at how much you're enjoying yourself in the passenger seat. And I said, you know what? You're right. It's where I belong. Yeah. I belong right in this passenger seat. And that's that.

wait a second we didn't fucking split yeah and then you're like wait now i have to clear this up now i have to call the paparazzi on myself and get a shot of my engagement ring now we have to call each other and be like did you tell someone we broke up did you tell someone we broke up and they're like no we're fine like you know like how does how does a false publication like that happen i don't know that always gets me i'm like how did someone falsely publish publish this

And I'm happy for them. And you know what? A relief for me because this is a couple where I don't know much about them. I haven't even seen much of them. But I go, I'm glad that they're together. Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum? Yeah, Ray Romano's in it. Zero clue. Yeah, there was some promotion. Not a ton, but there was some. And this came out like the last year? Do you want to hear something crazy? Do you want to hear something crazy?

This got a 65 on Rotten Tomatoes. You know what Sharpay's movie got on Rotten Tomatoes? A 60. What? It's insane. That's crazy. Something's wrong there. Something's wrong there. That's crazy. That means Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure was reviewed by like toddlers and like four people. Yeah, 60%. I mean...

The audience scores a 44% for Sharpay. Yeah. That's crazy. Five reviews for Sharpay. Five? Yeah, I mean, there you go. And they're probably not the most reputable sources. But I actually very much enjoyed it. Honestly, any space movie I kind of like. Fair. I love Channing Tatum. He's great. Scarlett Johansson's great. I think they had great chemistry. Yeah.

I watched the first episode of Owning Manhattan. It was just on Netflix. I'm like, oh, let me give this a shot. I hated it. Yeah, I'm not surprised. This is the fourth High School Musical because there's not... It's still a part of the franchise. It's still a part of the franchise and we wanted to do a franchise and so we picked High School Musical and we felt like we couldn't leave out Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure because it had to do with Sharpay. There are no other movies having to do with any of the characters but Sharpay got Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. Now let's go through the notes and let me tell you, I don't have a ton of notes. I tried. I really tried. I tried and I honestly just like... I have about six notes because I...

Yeah, I tried. It was so fucking bad. It was so bad. It was legitimately one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Legit. Yeah. One of the worst movies ever. Yeah. She's no longer Sharpay. You know what I mean? When she gets into when the girl's like, you're like me. And she's like, actually, I'm not. I don't use people to get whatever she said. I'm like, that's Sharpay's entire fucking character. I saw what they were doing. I understood what they were doing. She's growing. She's growing. She's growing. She's growing. It's like you were like this yesterday. High School Musical 1 and 2 and 3. Maybe not so much 3. Sharpay was doing exactly what she said she wasn't doing. Yeah.

That first penthouse apartment was so nice. It had stone flooring and a full terrace that I was like, wow, you rarely do you see like stone slate floors in an apartment building. Then I said, young Austin Butler, normal voice. Like it's just not, you know, not anything crazy. It's he's speaking normally. It's not that different from how he speaks now.

We may have blown that out of proportion. Yes. Us entirely as a country may have blown the whole Austin. Was he known before this? The Carrie Diaries? Yeah, this was all around the same time. The Carrie Diaries was amazing. Crazy she throws at... There's a couple moments where... He was also in Hannah Montana. Yeah. He did a lot of Disney Channel stuff. Yeah, he popped in a little bit. Crazy she throws around like there's a lot of like weight talk in this movie. I know it was like 2011 whatever but like there's one moment where Peyton says like weight and then she says 105 and I'm like oh my god like what is happening. Yeah. This is just yeah. And that I kind of blame that on Disney Channel. Yeah that was yeah.

I did like her line about the Murphy bed being a closet with a tongue. That was the only point that maybe I giggled for a second. Because Sharpay is known for her good one-liners, but they failed her in this movie big time. And then I just wrote thinking about how this film is how Vanessa met Austin. Is it? Kind of. They started dating right around the end of 2011, when this movie came out. I think Ashley and Austin became really good friends from this movie. And Ashley and Vanessa were best friends before.

Because I was wondering how he played Ashley Tisdale's love interest and ended up dating Vanessa Hudgens for so long. Yeah, I think they just became really good friends. And then he met Vanessa through Ashley. The messenger bag really screams NYU film student. They really tried to... He had that messenger bag strapped on him at all times. And he didn't need that. No, he didn't.

I said the outfits were so amazing and so criminal at the same time. Like they were so bad that it was like, who did this? Who did this? I can't believe a lot of these are like short moments. Plot twist, dog edition. I could not. I forgot. I forgot that this was when this was the plot twist. That it's about the dogs. When the dogs lock eyes. Yeah. I had the same moment. I was like, oh my God, this is about the dogs. Yeah.

My next note after that, which is a lot longer after this was this is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. And then I said Ryan at the end was the best part of the entire movie. Who? Ryan. Did you skip that part? When is Ryan at the end of the movie? At the end of the movie. He's at the end. He opens the door and he comes in to the to her room and they have a conversation, blah, blah, blah. And then like the credits start rolling.

See, you guys must have not watched the whole movie. I was very clear that I... Me just spending five minutes talking about how Ryan isn't in this movie. He's in the movie? Yeah. Well, at the very end, it's like a very much like last one minute type thing. So why... I said that. I'm going to be completely honest. When Ashley Tisdale started doing her last number, I shut it off. I said, I've had enough. It was very much like an ending credits thing. Before the credits rolled?

Before slash while the credits are rolling. Okay. I ended the movie as soon as the credits started rolling. He was on before the credits. Like he was on the full screen. Oh really? And what does he say?

It was just like him coming home. Like now she's at her home again and he's like, oh, like you made it like you're like a star or whatever, like that whole thing. And nothing about them being in New York and nothing about how he should have been in New York. No, no, I don't think so. Damn. I don't think I get it for that. They should have got him for the rest of the movie. We are all in this together in the background, like at the very end. Yeah. Ending number. I had shut it off. I don't know.

Yeah, he looked... He had a different haircut at the end. I'm going to look up why... Why was... Why was Ryan not in Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure? Oh, no. Yeah. In the scene that was added, Ryan visits Sharpay after she becomes a Broadway star to congratulate her. This scene is not included on any DVD or Blu-ray release of the movie. So this was an added scene. Because I was watching on Prime. Oh.

I was watching Disney Plus. So maybe we just didn't get it. Yeah, because I mean, I shut mine off after Ashley Tannehill did so saying. Did you pay to watch this movie? I paid to watch all these movies. What? Because I couldn't figure out the Disney Plus password. I called my dad. I'm like, whatever, I'll just get them. Oh, my God. So there is an extended scene that you saw on Prime that we watched on Disney Plus and it was not included. Yeah.

Yeah. Damn. I also wonder why there was an extended scene. Yeah, and it was not worth it. Extended cut, if you want to buy the extended cut. It was like a one-minute scene. Oh, that's so interesting. This scene is not included on any DVD or Blu-ray release of the movie, so it's only included on the Prime Video version that Noah saw. Interesting. Huh. Well, I think that this was a low-budget film, and they just, you know. Crazy. Yeah.

No, that is probably going to be one of the worst purchases I've ever spent in my life. Looking back on my life, you spent $5 to watch Shark Pace, Fabulous Adventure. But you did say the best part of the movie was Ryan coming back. It was the best part. It was worth the money. Yeah.

So there you go. It was like, oh, a familiar face. Yeah. So you paid to see Ryan. Yeah. I'm glad I stayed to the end. I'm thankful that you paid for that to see that. But this movie as a whole is an F. It's a whopping F. Yeah. It's bad. Can't even give it anything higher. It's just an F. Nope. And I'm sorry to everybody who maybe had watched it over the weekend.

They seriously did. And let me tell you the fact they're all, we're at Kenny Ortega's house having a barbecue. We're in the pool. Zach's grilling burgers. Yep. Bring me back. Yep. I mean, I'm happy to be in this time right now, but I look back and go, man. And you know what? I didn't take it for granted as a kid. I want that to be known because, you know, you look back and you go, fuck, we took those times for granted. Yeah, I didn't. I took every single one of those moments into the fullest degree. Like,

A lot of my life was spent watching Disney Channel and fully soaking in the moment. And our first. Soaking it in with my friends. Full schedule was around making sure you could be in front of the TV. At a certain time. And to see the pre-coverage as well. Right. Of course. And just like having those sleepovers with your friends and everything revolving around Disney Channel. Like it wasn't take it for granted. It wasn't. Every moment was enjoyed and will continue to be remembered upon as such a beautiful time in our lives. Agreed. So thank you High School Musical.
