Zendaya showed off a massive diamond ring on her left hand at the Golden Globes, sparking rumors of an engagement. The ring, reportedly worth over $200,000, added to the speculation and excitement.

What was the reaction to the breakup of Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover?

The breakup shocked many fans, especially since they had recently appeared together in the 'Summer House' trailer. Paige faced criticism, but many defended her, emphasizing her thriving career and the maturity of their decision to part ways. Why did Armie Hammer's appearance on Tom Segura and Christina P's podcast draw so much attention?

Armie Hammer openly discussed his past behavior, kinks, and the controversies surrounding him, including allegations of inappropriate conduct. His candid and unfiltered comments, combined with his bizarre demeanor, made the interview a fascinating yet unsettling listen. Happy 2025. We are officially back. We miss you guys. We hope you missed us. Honestly, I hope you did miss us because then you're going to be excited to listen to us today. We have a ton to catch up on. But first, happy 2025, like we said. And we are still buzzing with the holiday spirit. And Macy's has great deals happening online and in store for you to snag something you may have left off your gift list. So shop now at Macy's.com. Maybe

you shopped for everybody but yourself and now you want to treat yourself. So go to Macy's.com. You know what I was addicted to over the break was the Christmas hauls on TikTok. And I feel like this is the perfect time because now it's over. You got your gifts, but you're watching other people get gifts. And when you see them open something, you're like, oh my God, what a good idea. Why didn't I think of that? Yes. So if you also had that experience, you can shop at Macy's.com.

Browse, see if maybe any of those items you saw are there. You can jump on that and maybe add a couple of things off your wish list. Why not? There's always one or two things you don't end up getting and then you're like, shit, I'll just get this for myself. Right, exactly. Treat yourself. Go to Macy's.com. Welcome back, everybody. Hello. How are we feeling?

How are you feeling? Welcome back from break. It was a full two weeks. I know. It was like a really long time, actually. Holy shot. I like that we're still, we didn't miss Skip a Beat. We're still extremely matching. Comfortable. We showed up in brown sweatsuits today. I'm wearing brown too. Yeah. Oh my God. Right. So at least we're cohesive in that sense. Yes. We haven't skipped a beat when it comes to showing up matching. No, we haven't. But we really haven't talked much. No, because I, we, and I thought that and I was like, I just feel like we're really enjoying our, our time.

off yes and also because it makes us have so much to talk about today for this episode and I really like sometimes because I know I'm really trying to disconnect and not be on my phone as much I'm like I'm sure she's feeling the same way so it's like well you know for sure everybody I listen I got so locked into the Sopranos I was sobbing at people's deaths I

Like, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Jackie Jr. You know what I mean? It's a tough one. But a lot happened. I feel like I lived a million lives over the last two weeks. Really, truly. How was your guys' break? It was lovely. It's like you said, I think we've had, it was like two parts almost of like Christmas feels...

Last year. Like it was. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't even do that purposely. I swear. I was just thinking of like a long time ago. Yes. But I, you know, I actually said that I made that joke to Joe on the beach when he brought something up and I was like,

Because you haven't. Because it was a year ago. Yeah, it's still last year. But it was so nice. Time with family around Christmas. I went to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, which I haven't been to maybe since I was little. And I really forgot. They have upped their game, man. Really? I've never been. Oh, I said to Joe, like...

I wouldn't be surprised if there are adults that go and maybe have a mushroom chocolate or something before they go. That's what I did last year. It's like a trippy show. It's a light show. Everything, all the lights on the ceilings.

There's this nutcracker portion where the nutcracker, the other dancers are like giant stuffed animals with like goofy faces. Wow. And for a second, Joe and I just looked at each other and we were like, what's happening right now? There were no animals this year, right? No, there were animals. There were? I thought they got rid of them. No, no. And oh my God, Noah, there was a moment when the donkey was walking across the stage and

and its front hooves like slipped a little no and the whole the whole audience went he he he or she was okay uh recovered quickly thank god but i like i thought in my head first of all i was shocked too that they still use the live animals and when that donkey almost wiped out i thought

I'm going to be here at the end. This is going to be the last show that they ever have. Right. Because this poor donkey is going to be the reason. But the donkey recovered. So it was all okay. But it was a beautiful show. And then Joe and I spent New Year's down at my parents in Florida. It was just the four of us. My siblings were not there. So it was actually quite nice. Love JB and Gia, but like...

There's just there's much more of a chaotic energy when we're all together and it's the living quarters get a little tighter when we're all there together. So it was nice. We were like, oh my God, the bathroom's all just for us. It's really nice to enjoy our time.

Lots of great meals, time with my parents. I had a bunch of friends down there too, so a couple nights out. But yeah, I'm sure everybody else felt this way too because of the way the holiday fell and the break just felt longer that...

After New Year's, I was like, I can't go on like this. How many dirty martinis can one girl have in a 10-day span? Because, whoa, it was a lot. Wow. You really wrapped them in. It was a lot. So I'm doing like a damp, very damp January. Yeah.

What does that consist of? Like, I will not be drinking besides there are moments of your bridal showers. Right. The theme is pearls and Prosecco. I will have Prosecco. It's criminal not to. Honestly, it's an insult to you and to your entire family if I don't. Right. So that I will certainly have a glass of Prosecco or two. Multiple. Because my mom, by the way, this is what I was going to tell you before the show started, spoiled what the surprise was. Oh, okay.

You, you chiffos and your inability to keep a secret. Seriously? Nobody can keep a secret in your family. It's a more surprise. You guys all get so excited. Yes, like a surprise like really gets us going. Yes. And nobody can fucking keep it in. And it's not a surprise.

And we were on FaceTime yesterday. She told me yes. My shower was on Saturday. She had one week to go. She's like, do you want to know your surprise? I'm like, well, now I literally was never going to ask. But now you just brought it up. So if you feel like I should know this surprise, I guess tell me what the surprise is.

And then my sister's in the background like, oh, like you're telling her the surprise. And then it's a whole thing. And then she ended up telling it to me, but I'm super excited. So she got karaoke. Like there's a karaoke guy coming with a whole rolling karaoke machine and a screen and the whole thing. And she's like, me and Aunt Jean are singing Dancing Queen. Like she's like already has the plans out, which I'm so excited. It's going to be so much fun. But I was like,

Yeah. No more surprise. And let me tell you, when I tell people the surprise is ruined, they get pissed. Like, not only did my mom ruin the surprise for me, like you, and I didn't even tell my mother-in-law yet, she's going to be upset that my mom ruined the surprise. Like, nobody's happy that my mom ruined the surprise. Well, because I, and I really tried to get her to keep the surprise. I know. Because when we were in Boston, and we were, it was before the Rum Haven event.

and your parents were at the bar, and she was like, "Oh, Frannie, I gotta tell you about surprise." And I'm like, "Oh, so she tells me?" And then she's like, "Do you think she's gonna like it?" I was like, "She's gonna love it." She's like, "Do you think we need to tell her before?" I was like, "No, no, she'll love it. "It'll be fun. "It's a good, like, I cannot see why she wouldn't love that." And you started walking towards us. And so I'm like, "Oh, here she comes, here she comes." And she's like, "Okay, okay, okay." - The woman cannot keep in.

Anything. She just can't. And all got passed out. Bless her. Yeah. I mean, bless her. She's an absolute doll. Sweetheart. The excitement is just so high. It's sometimes I also think that you guys also get worried.

that the surprise isn't going to live up to like the expectation in your mind because you built up the surprise. So you're like, let me, let me get out of this by like just telling them the surprise a couple days early. That way, if they're not as excited as I am, no one else is around. It won't be a big deal. And, but every time everyone's excited.

For sure, Fran, you're so right. And it's like, it's just out of the goodness of our hearts, you know what I mean? Yeah, I know, I know. We love a surprise, but it's excitement and a little bit of scared. It's just so funny, right, because it's just the buildup of like, oh, you've had this in the works for a while now, and it's over.

It was just a week away. Just only a few more days. Just a week away. But back to what you were saying. So, you know, little moments you'll drink. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes. But I, you know, that's got to... I will say, like, there is a rhythm that you get in. And I was really feeling pretty good about it pre-wedding. Where it wasn't... Like, I wasn't doing anything crazy. I wasn't killing myself. I was still living my life, having fun, whatever. But there...

Because I was prepping for something, I was like, oh, there's some, you know. And then, I forget about it. After the wedding, honeymoon, holidays, like everything. I was like, anything. I want everything and anything. Right. And now I'm like, reel it back in a little bit. You know, just a little bit. But you also, you had a big trip.

I did have a big trip and it feels like... Like I forgot that I even... You know what I mean? Because we came home last Wednesday. So we've been home for a couple of days. But we went to London and Paris for just one day, which I will get to the Paris part. But London was spectacular. We went with Matt's family. We had...

Yeah.

And we immediately start the day. We're seeing all the sites. We're getting all the sites in early on Friday. So we hit Big Ben. We hit Buckingham. We're running around. We're hitting everything. We go back to the hotel. We check in because you can't check in right away. We'll check in 3 p.m. We're getting ready. We're going to dinner. It's great time. We're going to dinner. We're going to the bars. Great time. We're like, okay, let's, you know, we're having fun at the bars, but we're like, let's reel it in because...

We want to wake up early tomorrow, head to Notting Hill, go to the markets, whole thing. Let's reel it in. So we reel it in. We go back to the hotel. We fall asleep and I'm pumped. I'm like, oh, like I, it's like, I know I'm about to fall asleep and it's so hard to fall asleep in your five hours ahead. Like, but I'm like, I can feel myself long asleep. I'm like, great. So we both fall asleep. We both wake up at around, I want to say 1.30, 2 a.m. So like, I'd only been asleep for two hours at that point. I'm like, we look at our phones.

Like, damn, it's 1.32. Now we're up. We're giggling. We're laughing. We're like playing games, laying in bed. And all of a sudden he's like, oh my God, I'm going to be sick. And he just, it literally out of nowhere, just sprints to the bathroom. And let me tell you, this hotel that we're staying at is one of those hotel rooms.

that in the rooms, they don't split up the bathroom. You know what I mean? Nowadays with these hotels, it's like there's no actual door to the bathrooms. There's no doors. The toilet's right there. Everything's out in the open. There's no separate thing for the toilet. You can be on the toilet, the bathroom. It's a glass door. You can hear everything. It's a whole thing. He sprints to the bathroom. He's puking his brains out and he comes back into bed. He's like, okay, I think I feel better. That was weird. Maybe something's just not sitting right.

Half hour later, again. So like every half hour now, he's just sick as a dog. Did he eat anything weird? So what happened? So now he's sick as a dog and it's still going until like 12 in the afternoon the next day. So like 2 a.m. to like 12 in the afternoon. And it finally slows down.

This sounds exactly like what I had. You texted me when it was happening. Yeah, because I'm like, when you went to the hospital... You could have also had it. Well, that's what I'm saying. I'm like, when you went to the hospital, did they bring up the fact that this could possibly be a stomach virus and not food poisoning? Because we all ate the same thing, except he had... We all ate the same thing and we got this chicken, but he had...

so much more of the chicken than everybody else. So I started convincing myself because at this point I'm like, I hope it's food poisoning because if this is the stomach virus, it's coming for me next. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This stomach virus is the most fucking... Right. What's...

contagious things that anybody can like it's the most contagious thing ever so I'm like oh my god oh my god I'm gonna get the stomach virus in London and then I feel awful for him because he is like so and there's no worse feeling than being so sick in somewhere that's not your home so he is so sick and we're like oh my god what can we do we're getting him fluids we're getting him everything and he ended up resting the whole day on Saturday we still went out and did things um I came back and took like a three hour nap because I didn't sleep at all because I

You know, the bathroom's not separated. No, it's, yeah. But he made a miraculous recovery on Sunday. He woke up and was completely fine, which I feel awful that he missed the day on Saturday and felt like such shit. But then he woke up and was completely fine. So I'm like, was this the stomach virus? Was this food poisoning? I feel like the stomach virus lasts longer than that. But some people say it can last less. This, whatever's going around right now,

is like is moving fast through people apparently is what i've seen yeah it was awful i mean 24 hour thing he was down bad i felt so awful for him but he made a miraculous recovery on sunday was ready for afternoon tea and had the rest of the day which was fabulous i was so impressed because i'm like i would not be able to pull it together like you because whoo and then i spent

The entire time thinking this is coming for me. Like I'm just waiting everywhere I went. I was like, oh, I'm going to be at the Eiffel Tower and I'm just going to like shit my pants at the Eiffel Tower. Like this is what's going to happen to me. But that did not happen. Thank God. And we went to Paris on Monday just for a day trip. We didn't stay there. We just took the train during the day. How was the train? Lovely. It was two hours. It was quick. I have to say, though.

Paris left me with little to no desire to ever return. Really? Yeah. And it's not that I didn't like it. I just... And we went all over the map, even though we were there for the day. I'm sure that it's not the way you're supposed to experience something by trying to pack everything in in a day. So I know that had something to do with it. Like, I know that probably had a lot to do with it. But even from what I saw and was around...

I wasn't like, I want to come back here. That's just how I felt about it. It is what it is. I didn't have that lust like I do with London. Like, oh, I have to get back. I didn't feel that way when I was in Paris. It also could be due to the fact that it was incredibly packed and crowded and everywhere you went, it was madness. So yeah, I'm not going to judge it based solely on that experience because it was only one day. Different time of the year. Different time of the year, but I...

Yeah, it didn't leave me with a yearning for more. I'm... I...

It's disappointing. Yeah, it is what it is. This is how I felt. But not everybody loves all the same cities. Exactly. But I was happy to return back in London and it was a fantastic trip. Nothing bad to say about it besides the neurovirus food poisoning. Then I ended up with a major canker sore because I was stressing so much about it.

That I then woke up with this canker sore. I was like, oh, damn you. Damn you, canker sore. Oh my God. Yeah. The New Year's Eve situation you guys had looked fantastic. So New Year's Eve was, we were really rolling the dice with New Year's Eve. We had no idea what to do in London and-

We had been like Googling like what to do in London on New Year's Eve and it came up that they have fireworks. But to me, it felt like a Times Square situation. Right. You're like, you don't want to go stand in this crowd. Like if you were a tourist coming to New York and you Googled what to do on New Year's Eve and it's like, go to Times Square. Watch the ball drop. We'd be like, no. We'd be like, do not do that. Do not do that.

So then it started coming up on Google, like some of these boat cruises, which you just buy a ticket, like a bunch of people buy a ticket to go on like a boat cruise around the river Thames and you could see the fireworks. So that's what we took a shot in the dark. We bought some tickets to go on this boat cruise. We were like, this could be horrendous, you know, like,

Right. This is like... You don't know who else, what the clientele is like. Yeah, we don't know what the clientele is like. We don't know what kind of boat this is. We're just buying a random ticket for a boat cruise to go around the river. And you know what? If it was a disaster, it would have been a funny story too. And so that's why we did it. We were like, okay, this could either be the worst fucking night ever and it'll be hilarious that we went on here and we met all these freaks and the boat was horrendous and we all got sick and it was a whole thing. It'll be a funny story. Or it'll be...

And it was Matt. It was the...

most magical thing I've ever seen like standing on top of this boat and seeing these fireworks above the London Eye and Big Ben like I can't even put it into words like we were all just sitting there in awe like I can't believe that we are here watching this right now like it was so like emotional at the same time too like we were all like this is crazy like what are we experiencing and I'm shocked people don't do it more like it you know what I mean like yeah

So buy a ticket to go on the boat cruise and watch the fireworks on New Year's Eve. Do they do it on the Hudson River? I'm sure they do. No, I'm saying like... No, no, he's thinking about the New York... Like he's saying... I don't think we do fireworks. Yeah, we do. Do we? Of course. They definitely do fireworks. Oh. Yeah.

I'm sure they do it. Yeah, I'm sure they do. I'm sure you're something. But I think people probably think how we felt like, is this saint? Like what's going on on this boat? Like, you know, it's not the craziest thing in the world. Like it's not crazy expensive to like get on this boat, you know? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So yeah, I mean, it was just really just such an incredible moment. Like now I'm like disassociating, like looking back on it. Like I'm like, oh my God, because I can't even put into words how

I'm like, what? We're in London watching these fireworks? Like, this is insane. So that was super cool and a really cool way to end the trip and to enter 2025. We were like, this is fucking sick. This is awesome. It was. And yeah. And then we came home and I proceeded to

sit on my couch or in bed for literally four days straight like it was actually a concerning amount of time I spent on the couch like I only left to work out and then I'd come back like like I canceled out the workouts because I just sat on the couch for the rest of the day there's no other movement involved there was let me tell you zero zero movement like

I just didn't leave the couch and I ate like absolute fucking garbage. Like all the candy that like my mom gave me for Christmas. Like I was just eating all of that. Like I was eating like, I'm like, what is like the trashiest, like grossest food I can eat right now and I'm going to eat it. Like that's basically what I was doing for from Wednesday night until today. Yeah. I feel you. Yeah. And Noah came over on Friday with a couple other people and we played games all night and

that was a fun time. Yeah. And Noah brought a bag of Doritos. Of course. It's his calling card now. No, no. I ran to buy her first. Yeah. I was like, well, obviously you have to. Yeah, yeah. It would actually be rude if you show up without one now. And we did all eat the Doritos. Yeah. They went to use. That's what happened the first time too. We did eat the Doritos. You're not going to bring a bag of Doritos and it'll stay unopened. Right. It's

And no one's going to open it. No, we ate the Doritos and it was awesome. Yeah. It was a fun. Do you have a nice time break? No. Oh yeah. Definitely way more uneventful than you guys. It sounds, um, just basically did nothing. And like,

I just took the two weeks to be like, I'm going to be really unhealthy. Last year, I started the year off being like, I'm going to go on a health journey. And I kind of kept it up for the whole year to be like, try to be healthy, work out every day. So then these two weeks, I'm like, you've earned doing nothing and just eating like shit. But, you know, got to hang out with Marie. And we have another foster dog who's been around for a while. Really cute foster. And from the sounds of it, sounds like she's getting close to like,

just staying with us, like, for good. But that would... Yeah. My dad's, like, one stipulation is that if we keep her, then we're not allowed to foster anymore. Because she's like, I don't want three dogs. But she's great. And I had to watch them one night, but...

So your mom must really like her. Oh, yeah. I always ask... Everyone always ranks foster dogs, and my dad is like... She's like 1A right now. It's tough because... You can't not get attached. Like...

people are so aggressive I follow a ton of rescues and I see like when there's a foster or somebody's a foster and every time they get a new foster dog all the comments are like oh my god you have to keep them like it's so amazing and they're like no like I understand of course I would love to keep every dog that I foster but like

In order for me to keep being a foster and helping to save other animals, you know, we put them in the right home. You have to continue the cycle. But of course there are plenty of foster fails out there and your mom's been fostering for a long time. It's been years and years now. Also this one is tough because she loves Murray. Like is obsessed with him. Like we'll just like always be like Nova. Nova. Like the cream cheese. Super Nova girl. Nova Noah. Uh,

But yeah, so I don't know. We'll see. I said I had to watch them yesterday and I said I guess I'll see if I ever see you again, Nova. Like could be forever or could be never again. Oh, that's sad or really exciting. Yeah. Yeah. I also tore the lingam in my finger. Oh, God. The first day that a vacation basically I was packing my bag. It's not a cool story. Did you come up with a new story? No, because they were like, oh, how did you do it? And I'm like packing.

I was just trying to shove everything in my thing. And my finger for like, I didn't do anything about it for like a week and a half. And my finger was just bent kind of like, so you see how like this middle finger is straight. This part was just like hanging basically. It's called a mallet finger. I went to the doctor a few days ago and I have to wear the splint for six straight weeks. Wow. And if I take it off, she said, it'll immediately reset the clock because it'll just like tear again.

Jeez. Tough go. Real tough go. Seriously.

But you were really trying to shove stuff. I don't know what happened. It wasn't even. Yeah. It's a freak accident. It's a freak accident. Dang. Yeah. Damn. Right at the beginning. Right at the beginning. It was the first day. And my whole family was like, because I said, I think I just broke my finger. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Suck it up. Damn. That sucks. Yeah. And they're like, what were you doing? Packing? There's no way you broke your finger. That's unfortunate. That's a tough go. That is for sure. We...

We got back into the thick of wedding planning this weekend, which I'm like, I'm truly so, so, so, so excited because when we first got engaged, I think like we had a totally different vision than what it's becoming now. Like it was like I was keeping it like I was trying to be something I'm not, you know, classy, like, oh, like, like, like.

No, you know what I mean? They're like whites and creams and classic and whatever. And like, no, there's none of my personality is in that. And now it's become like so much more fun. And like, so our personalities intertwined into this and all these little details and like all these things have been coming to my head, like little ideas that I'm like, oh, I want to do that and do this and that. And I'm like, ah!

Like I have all these ideas rushing through me and I'm making them happen this weekend. And I got a day of coordinator shout out eventful days. They're great. And she's been helping me a little bit more with some of the other things as well.

And it's just like back and forth. Like, here's an idea. Oh, let's do this. And I'm like, oh, like, I just I'm so freaking excited because now it feels like our personalities are so intertwined into our wedding rather than like, OK, we'll do like the, you know, classic colors and whatever. And, you know, and I'm like, this is the details are so us. Like, I just I can't wait. Just incorporating more of you guys in it, not just like the.

putting things into the wedding form. Yeah, where they fit. And it's like, no, like this feels so personable and like so us that the magic is just coming alive. Like I've just been so excited all weekend. So soon. From my couch, just, you know, sitting there not moving, just like typing away like all these like little ideas and things to make it feel like really us. And, you know, we set the after party and there's like some cool things with that. And I'm just...

I literally can't wait. Like we were just talking about it all weekend long and little songs for this and just asking our parents little things that they did and incorporating little things. So I don't want to really like

say the things you know what I mean because it's like you know um certain things are like really special to us that I don't really want to like say right now but um yeah I'm just so excited like I'm like wow it's now I feel like maybe a lot of people that are getting married in 2025 feel the way that I do where it's like you waited until the year hit and then you're like oh okay it's about to be here now I mean you're like we're

It's three months-ish. Yeah. Well, yeah. Because end of April. So... Yeah. And because my bridal shower is this weekend. And then my bachelorette's in February. So it's like there's something each month it feels like. Yep. And yeah. We're just so excited. I literally can't wait. I'm just like... Like...

And here's the other thing, you know, like the bad, keeping things in. Like, if I... Like, I have to stop myself from telling everybody every single idea and, like, little detail that I have on this podcast right now. Like, I'm not going to do that, and I should not do that. But I really, really want to because I feel like I'm just talking with all my friends right now, but I have to keep it in. Like, I just can't do that. Yeah, because it also, like...

you know, not to be dramatic, but you know, for those of us that will be there. Yeah. I would like, I don't want to tell you. Yeah. Like, I don't want to be robbed of that. No, for sure. Walking into your venue and being like, Oh,

Right. Oh my God. And that's how I felt with yours. Like I didn't ask like, like details or whatever. Cause it's like, you want to walk in and feel it. You want to be, you want to take it all in. Right. And that's why I'm stopping myself. And I've even had to stop myself from telling like, um, my parents, some things or Matt's parents. Cause I'm like, I don't want to hear like, uh,

I don't like that idea. You know what I mean? Or, huh? You know what I mean? Like, what? Explain that to me. I just want to do it. Right. Especially like if you say and you're excited, then they're like,

Right. And then it's like, no, like I just want to do it. And then they could see it and be like, that's great. That worked out good. Good for you guys for thinking of that. And it worked out whatever. Um, so yeah, I am so, so excited. Here we go. Kicking off 2025 with a bang. Yes. Ooh, can't wait. Um, surviving Barstool is back tonight. Yes. And I'll just say this. It gets crazy. Yeah. Um, I, the last two weeks. Yeah. It, uh,

I want to preface that, and this is really for everybody, that this, whatever's about to happen tonight, is crazy. Uh-huh. And...

We're also on, like, day five. And, like, there's, like, no sleep happening. Like, I think, like, a lot of that maybe is not shown. That, like, now we're going into, like, day five here. And... Everyone's losing it a little bit. Everyone's losing it. And I could speak for myself that I really was not sleeping. Like, really not sleeping. Like, I fucking couldn't sleep for the life of me. Like, I would...

be up, up, up. I'd fall asleep for like maybe an hour and then I would go into the shower when like other people were sleeping, like maybe like 4 or 5 a.m. And I would just like stand in the shower for an hour and then like try and like, because I just like couldn't sleep. Like all I was thinking about was the game. Yeah. And also hard to eat too. Like there was food provided. It wasn't like actual Survivor where they didn't provide us with food. No, right, of course. But I literally like couldn't fucking get food down into my stomach. Like it's,

Just because you're so focused on the game that, like, I'd be walking around with a plate of food just to, like, try and, like, take as little bites as possible because I couldn't, like, focus on anything but that. So, like, this is, like, it gets, like, real reality TV in my opinion. Like, I don't know what to expect. Like, I haven't seen the episode. But if I remember the events...

Yeah. And what's about to happen? What's the schedule like this week? Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Okay. And then next week is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. And Thursday is the finale. Yes. And what I will say about the episode tonight is that like I've never seen what is done on any other show before. Like, you know, like it's like a none of us were expecting it because I think they I think they preview everything.

A little bit. They like previewed at the end. Whatever. Of like what's happening tonight. Barely. I feel like I watched and was like I don't think you can understand what's about to happen. Definitely not. We definitely didn't expect what was going to happen. Yeah. So yeah. That's a teaser I guess. Yep. So we'll jump back into that. Yeah. We'll jump back into Surviving Barstool. You can watch that everywhere. It's on YouTube. Yep. And whatnot. So yeah. Wonderful. Yeah. So it's time to.

Get back into the topics, into the swing of things. Lots to catch up on here. Lots. Lots of things happening. We have the Golden Globes Sunday night. We'll talk about that. We're going to talk about all of the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni updated details, the lawsuits. It's like, do we need a whole other episode for that? It's insane. It's insane. Armie Hammer went on Tom Segura and Christina P's podcast.

We just have to talk about how insane Armie Hammer is. Like I watched this and I was really fascinated. Sadly, Paige and Craig...

Broken up. Rocked the Bravo world. That news hit me over this break. Like I was like... You texted me like four times all throughout the day after it came out in the morning. Like separate times being like, I'm still thinking about it. I'm like, I can't believe this happened. Molly Mae and Tommy Fury look like they reunite on New Year's Eve. A little kiss. And Meghan Markle's coming out with a new lifestyle show on Netflix. And then of course we have our weekly watch report. Which I have a lot to say about the things I watched. So...

So Sunday night was the Golden Globes hosted by Nikki Glaser. Oh, just fabulous job. Nikki round of applause. And not only did Nikki do such an incredible job. Hilarious. She looked unbelievable. So good. Gorgeous. Hot.

So many good outfit changes, too. So many good dresses. Yeah. The boobs were propped up as well. She was really just rocking it the entire time. And she was hilarious. Maybe it's just- Really very funny. Bias, because we love Nicki, and we know Nicki, but watching that monologue, I was like, wow, that's the first monologue in years that I've really liked. Yeah. And I feel like that was universally felt. And maybe that's just the corner of the internet that I have curated for myself. Yeah. But-

I feel like she absolutely crushed it. It felt... I think any time there is the opening monologue for an award show, the audience...

it's a little on the edge of their seat because they don't know which way the host is going to go, what's going to happen. And I thought that like the room opened up as she continued through her monologue. It was funny. Everybody was laughing. She poked fun in a good way, like nothing too crazy. Sometimes there are monologues where the audience literally is like, ooh,

Right. And that's, and while yes, maybe the moment was funny, um,

I thought she did a really, really great job. Loved the Adam Sandler, Timothee Chalamet thing. I thought it was really funny. Yeah, that was funny. And I think she prefaced it really well before the Golden Globes even happened that she was like, it's endearing to be able to laugh at yourself. So if you can't laugh at yourself, then it comes across in a weird way. Whereas if you just laugh at everything, then it looks like...

for instance, with the Diddy jokes, right? Yeah. Like if nobody laughs at that, it's like, okay, what's everyone hiding? Right. It's like, you know what I mean? Like if you don't laugh at that, obviously it's awful and like whatever. But I feel like the jokes are,

were okay enough for people to laugh. Like Stanley Tucci's harmless. No, she turned it into a Stanley Tucci joke. That was the perfect person to turn it onto because you're like, that's Stanley Tucci. And then you're making jokes about olive oil. It's so harmless with Stanley Tucci. Yeah, yeah. And I thought the Chalamet joke was very funny with the mustache. Mm-hmm.

Selena Gomez was kind of like, all right, let me hear it. She knew the joke was coming, the Benny Blanco joke. Unfortunately, the joke writes itself. Right. And it's a shot everybody's probably going to take, and she's used to it. Yeah, it's just like what Selena Gomez, she puts on this like,

and she is this i'm saying i'm saying she puts it on but she is this like it's like i'm super shy like yeah ah like oh my god like i'm nominated like and and like but everybody else is like clapping up us like when when it went to katherine hahn and saying she's nominated she's clapping up a storm for herself she's like yeah i'm nominated like everyone's like clapping for themselves like yeah i'm nominated and then it gets to selena goblin and she's like

crawling like a hole and it's like Selena be proud of yourself like where's that confidence come on I weirdly think that that must be from I can't imagine it would be anything else than other being like deeply

Right. And I'm just like, let's get that because everybody else is clapping for themselves. And like, it's like imposter syndrome. Yeah. Yeah. And she's been through a ton. So maybe that like has something to do with it or I'm sure it has something to do with it. And you're nominated twice. I think it's tough because she was nominated for a performance that was like pretty highly criticized as well. So it might be tough for her in that aspect of like imposter syndrome.

imposter syndrome of like oh I got nominated but like people are still shitting on the performance I gave you know yeah I guess so it's just more just like I guess it's harder to see it for when it's yourself totally you're Selena Gomez totally totally just have a moment where you're proud of yourself like for one second because everybody else is patting themselves on the back of this award show and like

you're not usually like that and it's okay to do it. Yeah. She looked beautiful. I loved, you said there was a video of like Martin Short like fake pulling her ring off her finger. She was showing him at the table. Martin Short is so me and I'm so him. When I watch him, I'm like, like there was a skit. Did you see what he did with Jimmy Fallon? Yes. And I was like,

we have the same humor yeah like i'm like me and martin short like i am like yeah i don't know how to explain it but i just feel so connected to his humor i do yeah i really do yep yep him pretending to pull the ring i'm like yeah classic um no but other like it was a it was a great show i think there was some some interesting winners for sure um

the Hollywood foreign press always comes out of left field sometimes. Like I think a lot of the Amelia Perez love is, I don't know what the right word is. Cause it's like, it's came, the movie came with mixed reviews. People, people loved it. Absolutely. But there was, there was also like a, what a,

a different opinion on it too. Not just like universally thought to be a great movie. Yeah. Which is how obviously some of these other movies are looked at. Like I haven't seen one person say one bad thing about Anora, but like that didn't win anything. Right. I've heard great things about Anora. So, and it's like on the top of everybody's, everybody's list. Shogun cleaned up. They won a bunch of awards. And so did the, the actors and actresses, which I thought was great. I loved like it was. So those awards, it's,

The acceptance speeches always crack me up. And she was so happy. One guy won what he won for supporting. He was like, I'm so happy. That was the best. I just wanted to keep that and like, I'm so happy right now. Like it was, that was the best speech. Yeah, it was, uh, it, it was great. Um, no, no, Jeremy Allen White. He won, but was not there.

We got to stop giving him the awards. Yeah. He's getting tired of showing up. I wonder if he... Maybe, like, they're filming the Bruce thing right now, right? Oh, that could be. He's method acting. Yeah, he's Bruce right now. He's in character. He's actually... He would... He'd have to show up as Bruce Springsteen if... For sure. If that was...

If that was the case, Hacks had a big night as well. Oh my God, I couldn't be happier for Hacks because I'm a big Hacks fan. And I feel like every year I'm like, why isn't Hacks winning? And this year they won. So I'm so happy for Hacks. When it comes to Amelia Perez, I haven't seen it. So I can't give an accurate opinion on if I think they should have won these awards or not. No, I agree. I didn't see it. When it came to Wicked, once they won the Box Office Achievement Award, I thought...

They're not winning. No. They're not winning. You get that box office achievement award because we... Yeah. Also, it's like the box office achievement award is like so bizarre to me because it's like...

that's not what the award is. If it was a box office achievement award, the movie that made the most money would win the award. It'd just be a purely mathematical thing. The award's like... I feel like it's like the social media award. Yeah, exactly. It's like, what movie created the most buzz online? For them, I bet they don't... They're probably happy no matter what, but watching them win that, I was like, they're not winning best film because... No, no, I know. And...

The Golden Globes is always... It's not as closely matched to what the Oscars end up looking like. You know how sometimes it feels like the same people or movie wins across the board during awards season? The Golden Globes is always the one that's normally a little bit different, so...

We'll see how it goes. And of course, there's the musical comedy and there's the dramas. It's separate. It's separate. Not just one big category. Demi Moore won. Her speech was fantastic for the substance. Because then also like I was watching the Golden Globes. I was still in Florida. So my and my dad was like.

The substance musical or comedy. Like, it's just, yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Yeah. It's, it's weird when they're thrown into these categories and it's like, well, that doesn't fit into that category, but she did have a great speech because she talked about, you know, she's been an,

actress for so long now and how people kind of treated her when she first started off and you know she never got an award like this before so that was really cool to see for her. I love that moment for her. That was incredible. And seeing the videos of her family at home watching was really sweet. Seeing her daughters and everybody you celebrate was incredible.

was really, really awesome. At the Golden Globes, it does feel like a lot of repeats. Like, a lot of repeat winners happen. Like, with Hacks, it was like, okay, Gene Smart won, now you know Hacks. Like, it feels like it pretty much, like, matches up like that a lot of times, which is, like, kind of, I think, Amelia Perez, the same situation there. So there wasn't really ones that I was like... Colin Farrell had a good speech. Oh, I was very happy that Colin Farrell won that for the Penguin because he's so good. And honestly, like...

The Penguin should have had a bigger... Like, Kristen Milioti got robbed, I think. She should have won that award. Who won that award again? Jodie Foster. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. And Jodie Foster's fantastic, but I just feel like that was an unbelievable performance from Kristen. Maybe she can Emmy. Yeah. And even, like, Baby Reindeer winning...

As a whole. Yeah. Over the penguin too. Yeah. I feel like was sort of shocking as well. Yeah. And I mean, baby reindeer, like still being in the mix.

was jarring. It's like, when did that show come out? I was like, oh my God. I think it came out in February. Yeah. It must have. Crazy. Because I remember watching it in my old apartment and new apartment. Yeah. I feel like... I think it came... I don't know. It was a long time ago, though. What did you guys think of the narrator when someone would win? It was weird to me. There was a couple gimmicks that I could have done without. That I felt was kind of weird because...

Either the person had a really long walk to the stage and there was a lot for him to say or it was super quick and he like, scrabbled to say the last sentence like really fast before the speech started. And then like the pop-up fun facts. Didn't need that either. Unnecessary.

I'm like, why am I reading this? Like, I want to be like listening to like what these people are saying. Am I reading these fun facts underneath them while they're actually speaking? Every time someone from Hacks won, I was like, wow, they really put them at the table where they thought they wouldn't win because it was so far. Like, it took them so long to get up to the stage every time. Yeah. What else happened? Oh, Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner. Kylie was there again. Date for the second year in a row. She looked stunning. She looked stunning.

so gorgeous so like understated yeah understatedly beautiful because you know it's timothy's night but she's there beautiful next to him yeah not really not really a lot of attention drawn on them but she's there in the camera view not talked about but they pose for pictures there's pictures of them kissing we posted those on chicks in the office um so sweet so sweet and then on top of that strong

Oh my God. Walking around with a big diamond ring on a ring finger looking like an engagement ring. I know. Doesn't look like costume jewelry. No, that looked like an engagement ring. It looks like an engagement ring. A cool engagement ring. Really cool. Really cool engagement ring. DuBois posted that it's apparently a $200,000 plus

ring from a London jeweler not like her usual jewelry and there were some videos and pictures where it looks like she may be showing people the ring so people are kind of freaking out and stuff and I'm like I just don't know if we'll ever get that confirmation from

I don't think we will I don't think like if if anything she's just gonna keep wearing it and we'll just be like okay like I am so firmly I mean everyone knows I fucking love those two and I'm so firmly in the camp of believing that that was an engagement ring um

and she was wearing Bulgari. The rest of her jewelry was all Bulgari, and they put out a press that that wasn't one of their pieces. So it's like, oh, that's from her. It all lines up for that to have been a holiday proposal, and people were finding the jeweler on Instagram. They were seeing close-ups of the ring. There was one picture that I saw in video of Bulgari

It looked like I was looking at the ring and her face is like, she's like, it just seemed like there was moments where she was showing it to people or people were looking at it. I did screenshot this one part, not skinny but not fat post on her story, but it's a screenshot from an article in the LA Times by Amy Kaufman and talking about how she was seen with the massive diamond. Bulgari says, you know,

that wasn't part of the rest of the jewelry she was wearing. And then also too, she changed outfits and she took off the other jewelry that she was wearing, but the ring was still on that finger when she changed outfits. And then this article says, a rep could not immediately be reached, but as Zendaya exited the ballroom, a recently engaged Times reporter held up her left ring finger and pointed at it. The actor responded by flashing her own bling on her left hand, doing a sort of jazz fingers motion.

Are you engaged? The Times asked. She kept showing her ring, smiled coyly, and shrugged her shoulders mysteriously. Judge for yourselves. Wow. I'm like, ugh. No, I totally... I think she's engaged. I totally believe it because...

if you're Zendaya you are not wearing a ring that highly resembles an engagement ring on that finger because you know people are going to say that you're engaged like I don't think she wears that unless she is I mean same thing's happening with Dua Lipa and Callum Turner we didn't talk about that but people are saying they're engaged she was wearing we've had like no confirmation that was like but she's posting up a ton Dua Lipa like a ton with the ring and Callum Turner so I'm like are they engaged too? right

I don't know. But I mean, if that is an engagement ring, it's absolutely stunning. Like it's, it's absolutely gorgeous. I just feel like, and everything about like Zendaya, I just feel like Zendaya, she kept the whole rest of the hand like clean. Like there's no other jewelry on her, on her left hand. Like it was just that ring. It's gorgeous. It's stunning. It's absolutely stunning. Um,

Yeah. I'm in the camp of believing that this is an engagement ring. She was my best dressed as well. Really. I mean, she looked gorgeous. I loved... There's something about when... I love Zoe Zaldana as well. There's something about when the... That I just love so much. And maybe it's just because I love like a monochrome look. But the dress with the...

situation she had and then also having the stilettos be the same color material as the dress. Like it just all comes together so perfectly. I thought she looked so beautiful. Zoe Kravitz was also a favorite. A lot of like good strapless structure. Everybody looked really pretty. Emma Strone debuted a pixie cut. Yeah.

Yes. Which had some people up in arms. Well, she filmed a movie where she shaved her head. She filmed another Yorgos movie. Oh, Yorgos. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And her head was shaved. So she's just grown back. So she's just, you know. That's just the state that she's in. Now she's entering a pixie cut. Andrew Garfield. Oh, fantastic. Did you hear me in the room before? No. When you were not in the room yet. I said to the girls, I was like, guys, I have, I've always like, oh, I like Andrew Garfield. He's a handsome guy. I've always thought he was charming.

Last night he put himself on another level. He's really winning everybody over. Andrew Garfield was a big. He looked fantastic. He did. I love the way he was dressed. Andrew Garfield was a big crush for me when the social network came out. Yeah. I was like, Andrew Garfield's mine. Like that was like my crush. Like, oh, you like he's my crush, not your crush. Like that type of.

is how I felt about Andrew Garfield. Like nobody else was allowed to have a crush on him. And like nobody else did. You know what I mean? Like when Social Network came out... I was fighting no one. Yeah, like it wasn't like anybody was in competition with me. It was probably Armie Hammer. Yeah, like right. Like people were going for Armie Hammer. I was going for Andrew Garfield. But he's really having a moment, Andrew Garfield, especially like online...

little interview. Like his personality is really shining these days. It is. Not only his personality but his looks and his fashion. He's never looked better. And that green, the green suit. It was fantastic. Oh my God. It was beautiful. The glasses. Something about the glasses. So good. Threw me for a loop. I was like, oh my God. Speaking of glasses, Glenn Powell also looks great. Glenn Powell brought his parents. Yeah. I will never get over the fact that

him and his mother have the same exact mouth. Yep. It's like, you know what I mean? It's like, it's like, that is so Glenn Powell's mom. Now that you brought it, now that you always bring it up, it was the first thing I noticed when I was watching the red carpet and I saw them talking all together and I was like, oh, there, yep, there it is. There it is. They brought...

Glenn Powell and Timmy Chalamet look like contest winners to the Golden Globes I wonder if they got to meet their person I did see Glenn Powell met him oh Glenn did meet him yeah

And I guess Timothee Chalamet already did. Right, Timothee already did because he was there for the contest. But yeah, I didn't see if they had actually had their moment. The four of them should have posed for a picture together. Yeah, seriously, exactly. So then Glenn Powell was probably like, well, I guess I'll see you on set or whatever because he promised him that, right? Right, yeah, yeah. I think he promised his family. Yeah, somebody, yes. But if I was the guy, I'd be like, I want to be in it. Right, right, right. Well, here he is with the Golden Globes. This just cracks me up too because I'm like,

How are their names readily available on the Internet that the Globes was able to

invite them to their show like confirm like you're the winner right like i just i've never seen anything about these two besides the moment they won the lookalike contest and then like they just show up on the red carpet the golden gloves like who found you right and and sent this to you who got in contact we need you to be at the golden gloves right who got in contact um but yeah it was uh

Oh, I had my, my worst stress was, was Kerry Washington. I didn't see. Oh, I didn't like the, the, um, like the hot pink and the black just,

It's hard to pull off and it's not my favorite. And it's not even giving limited to, it gives justice. And it was Balenciaga, which I'm just like. I'm just not a Balenciaga fan. I thought we're over Balenciaga. Yeah, Nicole Kidman was in Balenciaga also, which is tough. Oh yeah, that's not, I'm not liking that. By the way, I think Ariana Grande must be playing Audrey Hepburn or has some sort of Audrey Hepburn project coming up or something. Like she's morphing into Audrey Hepburn.

And the whole tie with the dress, she's in the vintage. Her gloves. She's in the vintage dress. It looks like, it's like there's a lot of Audrey Hepburn ties. She's doing the ponytail. Her hair's slowly getting darker. Yeah, she posted the picture. She posted a picture. It's like her side profile and then her shadow. And like the shadow is just like the Audrey Hepburn silhouette. I can't recite all the details about the dress that she was in, but there is like a lot of Audrey Hepburn ties to it. So there's got to be...

There just has to be something else going on. You know, I didn't even think of that. But look at this with it with the shadow. Yeah, I'm looking now. Yeah. Yeah. And the bangs. Right. It's the whole. It's the whole. The whole look. The whole look she's doing right now. Has there been a project announced about an Audrey Hepburn? I don't know. I don't think so. In 1966, Givenchy was what she was wearing. Audrey Hepburn biopic.

Weren't they saying Lily Collins was going to play Audrey Hepburn? Yeah. Do you remember that? Yeah. Oh, Rooney Mara insists Audrey Hepburn biopic is still very much alive. That was in February of 2024. Oh, okay.

The project's not dead, but Luca Guadagnino is not directing it. So I guess there has been... Huh, maybe there's been some turnaround or something with it. Maybe Rooney Marr was supposed to play. They kicked her to the curb. Now, Ariana Grande maybe is in talks. But why do I remember Lily Collins being in talks about that? No, I...

That might just be because they look alike. Oh, it was announced in January 22 that the girl with the dragon tattoo actress, Rooney Mara, would portray the Breakfast at Tiffany's star in Luca Guadagnino's biographical drama. Huh. Oh. But it was revealed he was no longer involved in the project in October 2023, casting a doubt over the future of the film. However, Mara told Deadline that the movie was still happening. It's not completely dead. So maybe it's just being totally redone and Ariana Grande has been...

thrown into the mix here yeah i wouldn't be surprised i would not be surprised either because there is a like everything it feels it feels she's just headed in that direction maybe she just finds a ton of inspiration from audrey hepburn and she's also been talking about just like wanting to get so much more into acting yeah not going back to like touring yet so yeah maybe that was a little sign speaking of ariana's ariana maddox was on my flight to london

Which was so... What a quinky dink. Random. Yeah. Like, I turned around. Yep. And Ariana was standing around. I was like, oh my God, hi. Ariana. What are you doing here? Like, that's literally what happened. And then I was like, I like sneakily went over. I was like, oh my God.

I don't want to be the person that draws all the attention to her. Right, because everyone in the airport would be like, wow, look at that fan talking to her. Well, no, that's fine. I didn't want people to be like... I'm saying once one person goes, then it's like, don't open the floodgates. Right, I didn't want to start a floodgate thing for her. And I was like, oh my god,

And I was like, it's so random. It was just like so random. And then somebody messaged me and was like, did you see Arianna Maddox in London? And I responded. I was like, she was actually on my flight. She was on your flight. She was on my flight. It was nice to see her. Right. I hope she had a great trip. Right. Have a great time in London. We didn't bump into each other after that. I hope she had a great time. I hope she had a great New Year as well. But yeah, that was The Brutalist. Also won...

As well, director, Adrian Brody won, won for movie. That's apparently quite a long film. Everyone thought that the director was...

making a pro Justin Baldoni statement in his speech. I don't know. I've seen that connection be made on TikTok. I've also seen people be like, guys, he's not talking about... He's talking about his own movie because it's a three and a half hour movie. And I think...

He was probably told not to have it be a three and a half hour movie. And he still decided to make it a three and a half hour movie. So they thought maybe he was just referencing his own journey. But boy...

Boy was it my first thought When it came out of his mouth My jaw hit the floor I was like He was like Final cut goes to the director And I was like Whoa Whoa I had the same I thought Oh my god That was a shot At Blake Lively Completely Matt was like I didn't even think of that And I was like Yeah drama How about when Vin Diesel came up And was like Hey Dwayne

Yeah. To The Rock. I mean, they like... They hate each other. They really hate each other. IRL. I did not know that. Yeah. And Matt was like, wait, Vin Diesel and The Rock hate each other? And I was like, I did not know that. Life imitating art. Like, The Rock was the bad guy in the Fast and Furious franchise. Yeah, because Vin Diesel wanted him to come back and do more movies. Five, six, seven or something, I think Dwayne did. And then there was like something that happened and he didn't go back and...

Vin Diesel was like Vin Diesel made a video at one point on social media like begging him to come back right

Yeah. Yes. Okay. Now I remember that. He just hit him with a hey, Dwayne. Yeah, that was wild. No reaction from The Rock. No. I mean, he like kind of smiled. He like chuckled a little, but you're like, oh. I'm not a huge The Rock guy, but I thought he looked fantastic. That was a lovely color on him. No. Like a light lilac. The lilac was just fabulous on The Rock. You would have made a beautiful bridesmaid at my wedding. I had the same thought.

Because Matt was like, what color would you call that? And I was like, oh, it's like Fran's bridesmaid dresses. Yeah, he would have fit in perfectly. Yeah, he did. He looked great, I thought. I actually thought he was like best dressed. Yeah, he looked great. I thought he looked very handsome. He looked great.

But speaking of the Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, we should get into that. So they filmed It Ends With Us in Jersey City and Hoboken. And the scenes of where the restaurant is, Root, right? That's the name of it. Yep, yep, yep.

Is right in this little area in Jersey City that is near my apartment and has like a bunch of cute little great restaurants. And...

I totally kind of forgot about that. And then yesterday I went there to go eat and I was like, oh, my God, back in the area in which they filmed. It ends with us. And it's like all this everything that's happening right now, which is insane because we went right into break when all this dropped. So we couldn't talk about it on the podcast. But so much more. So much more has happened. So it's like, you know, we can really dive into it now.

But first, the first big drop was that Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni for sexual... A complaint. A complaint for sexual harassment, amongst many other details in this lawsuit. It was quite detailed. There were many circumstances that were referenced in this lawsuit. Really a lot to take in. Yeah. Like, there was just a lot to take in with this. I...

I now see every aspiring lawyer on my For You page that it's all girls that are like, I'm a lawyer, so here's what I think. And then I'm roped in. Because there's just so many different layers to this. Because it was like, first, Blake files this complaint, which wasn't really her fully suing him, which now has happened. Yeah. But...

It's like 80 pages. I went through the whole thing. So many different situations spelled out from Blake's side of things. They allegedly had, you know, they filmed and then the strike happened and then when they, everybody came back.

It appeared that there was some sort of meeting where there was, it seemed like just a list of conditions that had to be met in order for production to continue and Blake to stay on with the project. And there was also something in there about Justin not retaliating against Blake. And now that's where this all comes into play because it's like, well, now her frame was that

Everything that he did hiring the crisis PR team, who is the same team that worked for Johnny Depp, was in retaliation and therefore a break of whatever contract they signed. So you read this whole thing. She lists out many different instances of times when she felt he was inappropriate, inappropriate with her, inappropriate with others. Mm-hmm.

And it's extensive. And it created this conversation of like, well, why are we not believing Blake Lively? Is it just because people don't like her as a person? Like they're just like, oh, I kind of think she's bitchy. So therefore I don't believe her. Right. And those two things just don't match. Right. And yes, like they're...

They're not separating. People aren't separating the two things. Like they see interviews of Blake Lively be, you know, kind of rude in an interview and they're like, well, this must mean that none of what she's saying is true. And that just does not go together. Like these things could have happened to Blake Lively on the set. And also those interviews, those past interviews do exist. Those two things are separate and people seem to just lump a lot of things together and just like label somebody as one thing rather than like, there's...

sometimes it really makes you go back and think about all the Amber Heard stuff too oh I mean even at the time you're saying like Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were both doing things to each other but people were only going after Amber Heard and it was like what is happening like there's also evidence of Johnny Depp doing things like what but um it feels like that's where we kind of are now too with the situation is you're they're just like unloading on each other yeah and taking um yeah you know the

lawsuits out of it for a second and just diving into the job that is like a PR crisis manager or like a publicist or all of those things. How insane is it to like see the inner workings of someone's job that it is to like take down another person? Like, oh my God, like the fact, like sending the hit man. No, it's quite like,

seeing the examples of like we need something like this and it's an example of like a thread taking down Hayley Bieber and it's like you see these things and you're like holy fuck like this really does happen and it's really scary and it

Like there's nothing really you can do to stop it. Like if someone, you know, wants to go after someone, they have a whole team to make it happen. And it's just the inner workings of that sort of job is like opens your mind to it because you're seeing the examples play out. Like when I saw the example of the Hailey Bieber thread, I was like, oh my.

my gosh. Right. Because that was Justin who said that himself. Being like, this is what we need. And sometimes you live in a night. It was in a BuzzFeed article. Like, here's all the examples of Hailey Bieber being like a bully in the past. Right. And he's like, this is what we need. And it's like, you kind of live your life or at least I think a lot of us do. Like, naive world. Like, you think like these just things, they happen organically and people just like find people to go after. But like a lot of times there's literal

whose jobs it is to orchestrate that kind of thing. Yeah. And it's just hard to wrap your head around. Absolutely. And I think like, I don't know, it's, this has just opened up such another massive can of worms, right? And it felt like we were at the point where this was dying down. And, and,

I can't imagine like it really felt like Blake had lost in the court of public opinion already. And that's kind of what like Baldoni's team is sort of said is like, oh, we didn't really have to do anything. It's just like it happened on its own. But yeah,

I just can't imagine Blake going to these lengths and bringing it all back up again without really having these moments. And I just right now, I feel like these two are fighting different battles because they

Everything Blake filed in the complaint was written in a massive New York Times article. And that took us all by storm right before Christmas. And then Baldoni, now it was literally New Year's Eve, he filed a $250 million lawsuit against New York Times. And since then, Blake has now also filed in...

the Southern District of New York against Baldoni. I think maybe the PR team, like the crisis PR management team. But Baldoni being named in that too. Now there is another full 80 plus page document from Baldoni's side of things of...

Where, you know, he's saying he did try and get Blake to meet with an intimacy coordinator. And there's screenshots of texts of her being like, I'm good, I'll meet her when I'm on set. Or an example of a text of her saying like, yeah, come buy my trailer, I'm pumping or whatever. I also think like there's such a level of...

vulnerability of being a new mom. She had just had her fourth child. And there's a difference between pumping and breastfeeding and like

if she's saying he's coming into the trailer, she's breastfeeding, she's saying, oh, like they're like, oh, those things don't mean the same thing. And it's also like, if she was okay with it one time, doesn't mean she's okay with it every single time. Yeah. Like her being like, hey, you can come, whatever. Right. But that doesn't mean an open invite for you to walk into the trailer whenever you... Yeah.

so please. And a lot of examples, a lot of texts, a lot of screenshots of what appears to be Justin going back and forth with certain editors of Blake taking over the movie and, um,

editing decisions and we all know that there was a cut that was made by Blake, a cut that was made by Justin and it felt like the editors were really sympathetic toward Justin of like, oh my God, you know, can't believe this is happening and all these things and it looked like he was pushed out at the premiere. He wasn't supposed to be at the premiere at the same time as her and...

There's all these exchanges. There's also examples of Blake allegedly really taking over the costume department and making those final decisions for costumes and outfits. And, you know, there was an example of the beanie and her saying, like, that's something she would look at trying to, like, counteract when he was talking about sexy outfits or whatever. I just feel like right now, now they are...

fighting different battles. Like, Blake Lively has listed all these incidents on set of him being extremely inappropriate while they are filming. He's the director. Complaints were made. Nothing was resolved.

She says this whole meeting happened. His team is like, we don't know what this is. We don't even like this document. He says there was a meeting that allegedly Ryan Reynolds ripped into him. And he says that there were other executives there that afterwards were like texting him like, I've never seen anything happen like that before. Like all these things about...

about Ryan Reynolds and this was after the potential fat shaming comment we all know of him Justin texting Blake's trainer asking how much she weighs because of a scene so and so that he was supposed to lift her and I just feel like they're interpreting things in different ways incidents in different ways but Blake is arguing about all these things happening on set while they were filming

Justin is arguing Blake steamrolled him and took over the movie. Right. Those are two different fights. For sure. Right? Like, you know, there... It's... I don't... Like, the back and forth is like there's just... One doesn't negate the other. Like, Justin could have behaved that way with Blake on set. And Blake also could have steamrolled the editing and taking over the movie. Yeah. And one doesn't, like, negate the other. For sure. So...

It's just, I don't know. I'm very... I really don't know where this is going to go. They want, like, a trial. Yeah, the fact that... And they want to release, like, every piece, every text, every correspondence, like, everything they want. Right. And I'm sure it's because if you're on Justin's team right now, he got dropped by WMA. I think that...

He's already won in the court of public opinion when this all happened first. So I'm sure in their mind, they're like, all right, let's hash it all out. Let's put it all on the table. And if we have these instances that we can lay out and just put it out there, public knowledge of Blake,

making these decisions or going over Justin's head and doing all these things that will make people not like Blake and therefore they won't care about what she said. Right. And I think that's sort of what's happening already and kind of the way the world thinks a lot of times. And you already talked about it in the beginning of this conversation where it's like,

When someone makes their mind up about somebody, sometimes it can't be changed. People have decided they don't like Blake Lively. So even if she felt like things were inappropriate and she was uncomfortable, people are like, oh, okay, well, you know what? Well, she's doing this and she steamrolled the project. It's like, well, how does that make any of the other stuff okay? Sometimes people lack...

the ability to like see other sides of things, even when they don't like somebody. So that seems what's, what's happening right now. But it really feels like they're ready to lay everything out there and be like now, because it's really, it is now just a, it's a PR battle. Like I know they have taken it now through the legal system and everything, but like they are fighting so hard to save people.

their reputations. Yeah. It feels like at this point. Right. And I just feel like if like Blake was pretty, you know, it was pretty silent for a little bit. Yeah. You know, it was pretty quiet. That's what I'm saying. It's clearly to bring it up again for her to bring it up again. She clearly was uncomfortable because she was silent and then release this and it was like, okay, well she had been waiting for the moment to, you know, make it clear how she felt and the support was there for her. I mean past her

co-stars from the movie uh jenny slate had said something colleen hoover which you know however you feel about colleen hoover is firmly seems to be with blake um her sister or the traveling pants sisters yeah all all said something together i've seen a lot of people also say no they're they're colleen hoover's with blake because they're fighting so hard they want to make the second

the second book into a movie I'm like in what world do they want to make the second book into a movie after everything that happened they're not touching this shit again never why I can't and then truly like I will do a complete 180 like if Blake Lively is like I still want to do this movie like then maybe she's lost me because why would you want to why no there's no way and Raya

still in the second book. What are you, what are you, you gonna recast him? Like, what? There's no way. There's a 0, 0, 0, 0.000% chance. They just write him out of the story completely? No, but it's just not, that's not happening. No. It's just not happening. It's really, that just could not be fair.

Worth it at all. There was some, like, Justin Baldoni's, like, response or defense was that, like, he's just a weird guy. You know, like... But, like, even the parts of, like, talking to Blake's, like, dead father. And then it was, like, the response of, like, would he do this? No. Would he do this? No. Would he tell Blake that he talked to her dead father? Yes. Yeah. And it's like, what? No. Yeah. Look, I... Yeah. I think that...

There's a bunch of instances where they may just, they have no, these people are, like, Blaken and Justin Baldoni are oil and vinegar. Like, they do, they live in different, like, they don't mix. And, like, the example of the producer, he was also named a lot, I'm forgetting his name at the moment, but he also runs the studio with Justin. And...

In Blake's complaint, it was an instance of they're working on the birth scene in the movie and he shows her a video of his wife giving birth, like, fully, you know, open, giving birth. A home birth. And...

if you're not comfortable seeing that, that's like, whoa, okay, no, no thank you. And on their side of it, it's like she was shown a beautiful video of a child being brought into the world. And it's like, okay, you guys, you're looking at these things, you have two completely different opinions.

different opinions on what this, like maybe the people in your world love seeing a video of a woman having, you know, giving birth and really, you know, you're just honoring that experience. And then there's people out there that are like, hey man,

I don't really want to see your wife like this. For sure. Like you're showing this to me without me asking. I don't want to see this. Right, right. That's what it seems like. They just have two different outlooks on maybe life things where it's like there's some people that are going to be like, yeah, he showed me a video of his wife giving birth and she was naked and whatever. And like, you don't really think twice about it. Or there's going to be people who are like, I really did not ask to see that. And I'm uncomfortable that they showed me that. Yeah. So this is going to be an ongoing battle.

And there's going to be stuff that comes out about both that you're going to go, oh, you know what I mean? It's going to be like, well, they have a point there. They have a point there. That's sort of what it feels like from...

The outside looking in. Yeah. But I do think people just tend to discredit people that they don't like rather than listening to if they feel uncomfortable, then they felt uncomfortable. And that's their experience. And just because you don't like Blake Lively because of all these things now, you know, doesn't take away her experience. Completely. Like, just because...

there are interview, like you see interviews where she seems kind of bitchy. It's like, okay, so maybe she's just kind of bitchy. Everyone's got a bitchy friend and you still love them because you know, you know their heart and soul and but on the exterior sometimes they're like, damn, she kind of comes across like a bitch. That was a little bitchy. And you're like, yeah, but she's our bitch. Yeah. And that's just like, that's just, I just feel like Blake Lively's friends think about her like that. Like,

Like, I don't... And it just doesn't... I cannot... It does not negate what she's saying. You can't be like, oh, well, look at what she said to that interviewer and then read what she said and be like, well, she's probably lying. What? For sure. For sure. So... Yeah. But no, this is going to be dragged on for a while now with the whole legal system involved. I don't really know what the next steps are, but we saw what...

We saw that they want a jury trial. Baldoni wants a jury trial. And so it's just, we'll see. Blake and Ryan were not at the Golden Globes. They did not. Deadpool and Wolverine obviously was nominated in the box office achievement category. But they were not there. So I'm assuming they will probably be laying low for a while. For sure. It's only going to get more wild, I assume. Moving on.

Armie Hammer is on this little comeback tour in his brain. He has his own podcast. He's going on other people's... Armie Hammer comeback tour, Party of One? Yes, Party of Armie Hammer. And he has his own podcast and he's going on other people's shows and...

Friday night when everyone was at our apartment, we were like going through YouTube like, oh, let's watch some YouTube, funny YouTube videos. And it popped up that Armie Hammer went on Tom Skor and Christina P's podcast. And I was like, I gotta watch this. I was like, guys, we gotta watch this. Armie Hammer's on Tom Skor's podcast? What? I don't have like the correct words to describe Armie Hammer. I don't because I am. He's a freak. He is the freakiest of freaks ever.

that could exist and like not and like i'm fascinated by him army hammer and like not in a great way like i'm not like oh my god i love army hammer it's like no it's not it's not an admiration no it's not an admiration for me you are a bizarrely wild human being that i need to hear more from you because you are so bizarre in my brain that i want to hear all of your thoughts the things that he was saying

The mask of Armie Hammer has been dropped. That has been clear. Like, Armie Hammer, he has made it clear... That's part of the comeback. That's part of his whole thing now is that he said he was, like... Owning his cakes. Owning his freak. And he said...

That he was living basically this lie of like this, you know, cookie cutter home with his wife and his kids and this buttoned up guy. And I'm Armie Hammer and I'm all I'm this all American family in the sky. And he said that that would literally eat him alive because, you know, no pun intended, but it would literally eat him alive because that is just truly not who he is or was at that.

all. And let me tell you that is abundantly clear that that is not who Armie Hammer is. He has dropped the facade of this fake Armie Hammer and he has become...

He has become truly himself. Yeah. And this man, he loves being a freak. Yeah. He loves like telling people he wants to cut their toes off and keep walk around in the pocket. Like this is how he shows his affection and his kinks and his sexual desire and his sexuality. And he feels as though

you know, he shouldn't be ashamed of it. And, you know, people shouldn't be ashamed of their kinks. People have kinks and they shouldn't be ashamed of it. But in the way that Armie Hammer talks... The problem is Armie Hammer crossed the line in the... The problem that I have with Armie Hammer is that I don't know if they're just kinks. Like, while I'm watching him, I'm like, I think Armie... Like, I...

feel like army hammer is this like 24 seven, you know, like it's not just in the bedroom. It's not just like, like, I just think army hammer 24 seven is this. I don't even know. And like the look in his eyes has, has changed. Yes. There is a, there is a look in his eyes that you're like, what is behind that person? And he kind of talked about, you know, the instances in which like consent and stuff, like if it's not, and he said this himself, like,

He said, if it's not a fuck yes, it's a hell no. So...

that's yes like that is true army yeah um but he said those exact words and he was like i've learned like with consent if it's not a fuck yes it's a hell no right because the thing well that's because of what happened that's because of what happened and the things and the things he's doing and asking you know and now he's learned like you know he was just he was like i was paying he was like i was playing fast and loose like the way that he like describes what he was doing and like saying i'm like what like

He was talking about how he would just DM whoever and he would Snapchat whoever and he didn't care and he was just saying things and doing things. It's like he wanted to be exposed. That's what he said. He said that. He was like, I kind of like... He said there was a time where he was liking a lot of BDSM stuff on Twitter and bondage and all of that. And people started tweeting like, does Armie Hammer know that we could see his likes? And he was like, I'd be on my phone like, uh-huh, I know. Like he was like, I was...

Like the way that he describes it, like he's so open that it's fascinating, you know? And he's basically like, I, he doesn't feel like he should be ashamed of any of this. And, um, yeah, he was like, no, I was liking these things on Twitter. I knew people could see my likes. And I was like, this is who I am. Like, I kind of want to get caught. And, uh,

You know, I think he ended up in situations where he wasn't totally... Like, the consent maybe wasn't totally there. And he was just doing things. And, you know, girls ended up feeling uncomfortable. These girls had awful experiences. Yeah, they did. And they ended up feeling very uncomfortable with Armie. And he... This is him talking about it himself. He's like, you know, I would...

get with a girl and it would be like a whirlwind for like a month and a half and I would do everything with them we'd be hanging out it'd be great and then I'd dump them to the side a month and a half and I'd go on to the next one like this is how and he was like openly acknowledging all while married yeah but he was acknowledging like yeah like I get why they'd be pissed like I just toss them aside after they thought like this was their whole life and the way he's talking about he's like saying it with a smile that's what that's what

It's like the character in which he... Not the character. The person who he is. He's not talking about these things being like... No, because you're listening to him and you're like... Are you a serial killer? Yes. Yes. That is how I'm watching it. Because...

it's not watching someone who's like sheepishly being like yeah i did these things and honestly like i've had to i've come to and i've gone to therapy and i've realized like man the way i was treating these women is just not right and like i need to figure out a different way to explore these kinks that i have like that's not the vibe from army hammer no no the vibe from army hammer is like he's like yeah toss him to the side and you know i got i want to chop off their toes and keep them in my pocket and like he's like and then he's talking about

And like Tom Segura and Christina P, they're married. And they're like having their little banter, husband and wife. And like Christina P makes a joke to Tom like, I'd let you bang her about like somebody else. And she's joking. And Armie Hammer's like...

this is what I want. This is the kind of love that I aspire to have in you. And like, you know, Christina and Tom are joking, but you know, army is not serious. Like he's dead serious. And then like, you could tell he's like trying to be like, cool. Like, cause he hits Tom Segura with like a, that's gay, bro. Like one of those jokes. And I'm like, army hammer is like trying to like fit in.

He's like still, it's, it's, I don't, there's so many bizarre layers to army hammer where, where like there's that. And then sometimes you're like, okay, why are you still like a 2010 frat bro? Yes. Yes. That's how he was talking. Like, I was like, oh my God, like he's trying so hard to like come across cool right now.

And it's alarming. Like, I can't look away. Like, I need more podcasts of Armie Hammer because I'm so fascinated by this, like, what I believe to be, like, kind of an evil person. And I'm not, like, someone who has kinks. Like, that's not it. Like, that's not evil. I don't think that's evil. Like, take that aside. The way that he talks and the look behind...

those eyes yeah yeah I'm like that's a fucking freak in more ways than one like he's not just a freak in the sheets he's a freak in general and there's lots to be uncovered with that man and I can't even think like no what else was he saying it was just like it was just not just like everything out of his mouth yeah and it's such as like the cadence of everything and his eyes like you can just tell I don't know like it

It's just... I don't know. He's working again. He... He said he's turning down jobs. Yeah, he was like, I'm getting so many offers and turning down jobs. He doesn't have an agent. Yeah, he doesn't have an agent. That's what people say when they are getting no offers. Like, he's like... Where did he say he's going? He said he got his first job because someone DM'd, like, his friend. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's like...

You're like, if there's no buzz, I'll create the buzz. That's tactic number one. That's what he said. Like of being like, oh no, oh my God, I got so many, I'm swatting them down. I'm turning them all down. He was like, I got a TV show offer that the head of the network signed off on me. He's like, they signed off on me. People are seeing that I was shamed for my kinks. Like, Armie, that's not what happened. Like you crossed the line with a lot of women who felt uncomfortable and that's what happened. Like it wasn't that people found out that you were a kinky guy and like,

We're like, we're done with Armie Hammer. He's too kinky. It was like girls were made to feel really uncomfortable by you. So, yeah. Oh, and then he talked about like Tom Segura was like, I mean, I have to ask, like, obviously, you know, there's other there's women who are into like what you're into. Were you getting like a lot of messages like and he was like, oh, my God, that I believe he was like, my DMs were filled.

He was like, I want you to eat me. But he basically said, like, he had to give his accounts to someone else only because, like, he can't really trust women anymore because of what's happened. Like, kind of making it seem like it's on... It's their fault? Like, I don't want to, like, engage in this now because who, like, what... Yeah, he was like... Who knows what they'll say about... Yeah, he... Yeah, he was like... He's such a piece of shit. No, he is. He was like... He was like, I... He's like, you know, I don't know who I can trust these days, you know? I thought they were in and I guess they're not. Like, and then...

And then he was like, he was like...

He said to himself, have I learned nothing? Because he was going to start responding to the women that were like, eat me. I want you to eat me. He was like, I had to say to myself, have I learned nothing? There's just so many... I was cracking up watching this because I'm like, oh my God. He thinks everything he's saying is totally normal. Because you have Tom Skor and Christina nodding their heads and then Christina giving a little look every so often. Do you realize what you're saying right now? It was...

it was a fascinating watch like i would actually rec recommend people watch it because i'm like oh army has owned army now like the me i'm i'm watching this going oh my god he's kids like i forgot that he was married with children like watching this like he has children he has children that are going to watch these things

And he was like... He's on record, on camera. And for him, what it seems like he took away from this was that he just felt like people were saying that he was a cannibal. He just kept going back to that point, being like... And people just took it as like, Armie Hammer's a cannibal. Everyone thinks I'm a cannibal. It's like, it's easy to pick the most extreme thing. It's like, yes, we all thought you were maybe a cannibal, but like...

we, everyone read about how uncomfortable you made these women. Like that's really, you know, what everyone got really upset about. And then he talked about eating a deer's heart because remember that story went around that he like ate a pig's heart. Yes. And then he was like, he was like, no, that would be disgusting. It was a deer's heart. And he was like, he literally ate because he said like hunting culture, I guess he's from Texas. Yeah. It's like when you get your first kill, you eat the heart of like your first kill, which is not something I'm on board with. No. He's also like, it wasn't the whole heart. I just like,

took a nibble yeah and they were like i think i've seen that like in a movie or something before and he like ate and he was like like they were like how was it he was like it was really tough like like the like talking about like the chewing of it like it was genuinely um really something else really really something else from armie hammer so what a guy truly what a guy he's like had lived has an apartment in new york city i guess and uh

has a podcast and I think he thinks podcasting and not to like take a shot at us because we are podcasters but like he's like podcasting you know what I mean like he's like yeah he just like he just found podcast yeah he's like podcasting he's like this is like yeah like he like like the way that he's talking to Tom is like yeah he was kind of starstruck yeah he was being on that podcast was like you know yeah um

And then he talked about being on somebody else's podcast right before that. And I don't know whose podcast he did, but he was like, yeah, not my kind of guy. He was pressing me heavy. He's just not my kind of guy. I was like, he thought that like I could imagine when Armie Hammer left their house, Tom and Christina were like, what the fuck? What the fuck was that? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But he thinks that they're like, what a cool fucking guy. Right, right. For sure.

For sure. Like, oh my gosh. I could talk about this for hours because you have to watch it, Fran. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think I will. Open seat right there, Armie. No, well, then I started turning to Noah and I was like, I want him on this show so bad. Oh my God. Genuinely because you could ask him anything and he'll, like, he says things and he doesn't even realize what he's saying is wrong. Yeah. He's just like incriminating himself and everything he says. It's like, what? What?

What? Yeah, he's no good. Armie Hammer's no good. No good. If you are looking for the way to a healthy scalp, then look at Way. Yes, that's spelled O-U-A-I. You get to the root of healthy hair with hair goals with Way's scalp care that will get your strands looking stronger, fuller, and healthier. I actually gifted some people Way products for Christmas this past season because I'm obsessed with Way products.

I think they're outstanding. Their hair and body products all are made to be effective and they are, and they work for you and your routine. I've been using the Whey Leave-In Conditioner for years and years now. It is my staple. Also love the body scrubs, the body creams, the thick hair and conditioner, the scalp scrub. I absolutely love when I'm, you know, doing a lot of slick back looks, putting a lot of, you know, products in my hair. I can use the scalp scrub, the shampoo to get it all out, detox. There's also a scalp serum and it balances and hydrates the scalp.

100% sought thicker, fuller looking strands after using the scalp serum. So if you're looking for that hair journey in 2025, look at OUAI. This daily scalp serum can be used day or night with wet or dry hair. So if you're looking to try out OUAI, go to T-H-E-O-U-A-I.com and use code CHICS for 15% off any product. Once again, that's T-H-E-O-U-A-I.com, code CHICS. Also no good, big breakup.

Big breakup. Paige and Craig. And now we're fools because about two weeks or so ago, three weeks ago, we were on this podcast talking about the Summer House trailer going, no, we know they're good. And then we literally put out a video being like, no, we know Paige and Craig are good. They're still together. We didn't know. No. And you know what's so funny is there... Anytime that...

There are rumors about them. And there's been, like, it was either breakup or engagement. Like, those were the rumors, like, the last, like, couple months. TMZ, no one's going to stop us to tell us. I was going to wait until the end. Ten minutes ago, TMZ has reported that Zendaya and Tom are officially engaged. Oh, fuck yes! I mean, this is incredible news. I got chills. Oh, my God. On our own Instagram right now, chicks in the office reported Zendaya and Tom Holland are engaged. Oh, my God. TMZ has reported they're officially engaged. Congrats! Ugh.

Wow, that's huge. That's a win. That really is a win. That is a win for lovers everywhere. That is a huge win. We needed that. Sources close to the couple tell TMZ the Spider-Man star popped the question between Christmas and New Year's, dropping to one knee in a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya's family homes in the U.S. We're told Tom didn't make a huge show of the engagement. It wasn't a big, over-the-top proposal and said it was very romantic and intimate. Our sources say the family wasn't there. It was just a sweet moment between Tom and Zendaya.

Um, Zendaya showed off her massive engagement ring Sunday at the Golden Globes. Oh, that is so sweet. That is so sweet. Lovers rejoice everywhere. Oh my God. Congratulations. You know, sometimes you do and we're, we're, we have the other side of it cause we're talking about Craig and Paige breaking up, but you know, you just get attached. You do. You get attached. You get attached. And, and whether that's right or wrong, because I, uh,

I did listen to the Giggly Squad episode. And they're like, you know, we're people. Like, it's... Breakups happen. Like, it's like, you know, life... The earth keeps spinning. Right, for sure. Like, it's like, you know, don't be going on the internet being like, oh, my God, love's dead. Like, you know? Right. It's like, yeah, I get it. I understand. Yeah. 100% totally get it. But when love wins...

You could celebrate. I'll take the win. For sure. You celebrate love. I'll take the win. But when somebody breaks up, you can move along. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I think for Craig and Paige, you know, we know them in real life and we love them as a couple, but we love them both separately as well. And they did what they feel like is best for them. And you can't stop anybody from doing that. And I think...

You know, there's been so much conversation about Paige and Craig and especially towards Paige after this breakup. Yeah. Which is... Bullshit. So ridiculous. Bullshit. And such bullshit. And... Once again, it's always...

It's always the woman. It's always the woman's fault. No, it's like Paige is so incredible, hilarious, like really thriving and having her full moment right now. Like I'm a Paige DeSorbo stan. Like I see Paige and I'm like, I'm like clapping and whooping it up and applauding for her like every moment of her life right now because she is truly crushing it. Giggly Squad has been absolutely crushing it. All of their shows, their podcasts, like they have a-

They're about to do sold out shows at Radio City. It's incredible. Are you kidding me? They should be so incredibly proud of themselves. I love them both, Paige and Hannah. What they've built is so incredible. And if Paige and Craig didn't feel like this relationship was fulfilling them either more or knew that it wasn't going to become anything more in the future, then that's their right. And that is very mature. It's completely. And the adult decision to make is to end that relationship if you feel like...

There is...

no more room for it. Like if you, you know what I mean? Like you, they probably both know and made that decision based on how they both feel. And yeah, it's, it's unfortunate because I do really fall. I do think that like the whole trope of right person, wrong time, like is very much a thing and they are great. But like one, 100%, I think from solely from what we've seen, like this is based, not, you know, solely based on the shows they're on and all these things. Yeah.

From that viewpoint, it has felt like a lot of the same conversations are still being had. Craig, on this last episode of Southern Charm, was talking about freezing his sperm. They're clearly in different places.

And neither of them should have to compromise. For sure. If that's really what they want. And I'm guessing that that's kind of the conversation that they had. Because it's like Craig, I think he wants these things sooner rather than later. He doesn't want to keep waiting. That's so fine. And Paige, like we said, thriving right now. Giggly Squad took over the world this past year. Yeah, it's incredible. They are doing so well. Yeah.

She's prioritizing that right now. And that is so fair. And she should be allowed to do that. And I think sometimes you also like...

People vilify women for that too. Because they're like, oh, what? Like, what? Craig. He wants to get married and have kids. Like, why doesn't she want that? It's like, that's not every woman's dream. So I think she was getting wrongfully criticized. There's weird TikTok rumors. Yeah. She's out with this guy and blah, blah, blah. And it's like, all right, everybody calm down. Like, why do we have to turn this into some big drama when that's... She's like...

All we have to do is take Paige for a word. She's literally going on her own show, talking about it to her listeners and being like, we're good. I will always have love for Craig. And this was what happened. And now we're moving on. But don't try and make some big thing out of it. Because you want the drama to be there. But people want drama and they make things out of nothing. And honestly, it's like people have to remember, for literally anybody, podcast, celebrity, whatever it is, when someone talks about a breakup,

You're not... You don't know every detail that happened. People will be like, well, she said this. And it's like, well, you don't know... You also don't know exactly what happened. You don't... And then that's where the speculation comes in is that people are like, well, then this could have happened or this could have happened. It's like, all right, well, let's just take what she said. Yep. We'll...

that's it and like move along they broke up and and yeah everyone loved them together as a couple including us and we love watching them on our tv screens but unfortunately for them as people it's not the best thing anymore and that's all right and the people coming for page are absolutely ridiculous just like so so so ridiculous it's insane yeah but i do see a lot of people also you know applauding page and the both of them for recognizing that they shouldn't

be in this relationship anymore and going through with that because that's the mature decision to make instead of like dragging on a relationship that ultimately ends and then you start resenting people and then it's you know whatever but um so you know i hope the best for the both of them and i think page will continue to thrive and craig will continue to thrive and hopefully they can um stay on peaceful terms exactly because they do you know revolve in the same universe but

I do think it was such a great relationship for both of them, even just in the sense of personal growth. And Paige did mention that. For sure. Talking about it as well. And Hannah did too. I just feel like he...

was a great boyfriend in that sense. Yeah. Which is, which is so great because it's just like, there is that the relationship means something and it helped them both individually. And it's, you know, people felt the same way about Craig. They're like, Oh, Craig's look what, look how great Craig is doing. I feel like pages had so much to do with that. And they'll still be able to keep those things with them. Right. As they, as they continue on, um,

And Craig even would say that Paige helped him a lot. Totally. So it's like, you can't take that away from either one of them. But yeah, that news actually did shock me. No, we were sad. We were sad and I was completely shocked. I was like, what? Yeah. You know? Because you text me like, did you see? And I was like, what? I was like, huh? I was thrown off. Well, but also, this is what I was actually saying before the TMZ thing. I always crack up because...

I will often get friends text me and be like, oh my God, what's the deal? What happened? And I'm like, whatever.

I don't know I'm like I love Paige and Craig but what do you think I'm about to text Paige and be like oh my god saw the news like what happened that's how I felt when I saw the news I was like but Rhea and French said they were fine yeah I know people texting me too and I'm like I don't know what happened like I found out with you like it's not I don't think they were you know what I mean exactly exactly so that does always always make me laugh but no I mean love them both and it's you know

Sad, but they will continue to be amazing. They will both be okay. And they will continue doing their thing. But yes, on the other side of that, Tommy Fury and Molly Mae looked like they had a little reconnection New Year's Eve, a little New Year's Eve kiss. We do know that Molly Mae's documentary is coming out soon on Prime, which I think they were going to show the background of the split between Tommy and Molly Mae. So now I'm confused.

You know, it's like this documentary is going to maybe it's like the Beyonce and Jay-Z thing where Beyonce was like, I'm going to release this album Lemonade about you and how you cheated and how you're a piece of shit. But I'm going to stay with you. Like me, you know, like that could, you know, maybe something like that. Hey, we're going to put out this prime video documentary. Everyone's going to see that you're a piece of shit to me. And then we're going to get back together and you're going to hopefully change. Yeah, there's just like there's so much.

The tabloid headlines are all over the place. All over the place. Some of them, like, most of it's, you know, Daily Mail, The Sun, all things like that. But, you know, Molly Mae and Tommy Fury spotted kissing. Oh, this article says that they're...

The documentary could be in chaos after the sneaky kiss. Molly Mae not ready to rekindle Tommy Fury romance despite New Year's Eve kiss. That's on Yahoo Life. So, I don't know. We don't really... All we know is that there was, you know, a video...

of a New Year's Eve kiss. And hey, sometimes you're at the New Year's Eve party. The New Year's Eve bash. There he is. It's midnight. You're like, ah. You have a child together. Give me a smooch, you know? Yeah. Happy New Year. Happy New Year. I don't know. But I don't know. The Daily Mail did write that there are reports that they have now rekindled their romance. A source has told The Sun that the boxer stayed the night at Molly Mae's house.

Earlier in the day on Saturday, the pair are said to have gone to the cinema to watch Nosferatu before Tommy was seen leaving Molly Mae's home on Sunday wearing the same clothes. Looks like Tommy stayed the night. Yeah, that's what... Last week, Tommy and Molly Mae were seen at the party that they were at. Well, like... Here, I want... It looks like she may... The Daily Mail is also insinuating that maybe she was a little drunk. Yeah.

It says, an hour before we kissed, Molly Mae had necked shots of 110 euro a pound a bottle, euro a pound, of classe azul plata with pals. A source told The Sun, Molly isn't a big drinker, but tried to get into the party spirit with friends and did her best to join in. It was a really fun night, and she was letting her hair down after a tough year.

You're out, you're drinking, it's New Year's Eve, you're having fun. You have a tough year because of that guy. Because of him, no, I know. And then you kiss him. Yeah, it's a backtrack for sure. It's like, tough year because of this guy. Maybe you could have kissed somebody else at the party. I know. I will say though, at least from what I've seen, people are like, yes, yes.

Like, I don't know what it is about the two of them. And even like despite the cheating rumors and all these things. And I don't know. Tommy has obviously been adamant that there was no cheating. Yada, yada. Like people are like, yes. I think if they just split and then they got back together, people would be like, yes. But because there's so many cheating rumors surrounding it, it's like. No, it's for sure. It's an added. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If they just split and it was like so clear that there was no cheating or anything, it would be like, okay, good. They're reconnecting. But because there have been so many cheating rumors, it's like, eh.

You know, you don't root for it as hard. No, I know. But maybe he's really fighting for it. Maybe he's really fighting for it. Who knows? Megan Markle. Love Island All Stars starts now. Oh, yeah. I'm so fucking excited. I kind of forgot about it. Pumped. And then like I saw a TikTok that was like, here's some rumored people. And I was like, oh, my God. I don't know if there's any truth to this, but I saw that one like gossip account had said that they thought Rob was going to go on for Love Island. Yeah.

I saw that too. I saw his name posing. Because then they saw maybe they were going to dip into other franchises for All-Stars, for UK All-Stars, which would be interesting. I don't know if they would actually do that because UK has so many...

are ready to choose from, you know? But I did see one confirmed apparently is India. Oh. Who was her OV. Yeah. Yeah. Interesting. I love all stars. Same. I think it's going to be so good. So that starts on Monday. That's super exciting. Woo! Back in the Love Island action. Last topic, Meghan Markle. She has a new... Oh, Meghan.

Oh, Megan. Lifestyle show with love. Oh, Megan. On Netflix. Look, did I chuckle as I watched this trailer? I did. But you know what? I give it to her because she's going to get made fun of for this, I think. People were laughing at the trailer and all these things. Oh, she wants to be Martha Stewart. She wants to be Martha Stewart. I think she sneaky always wanted to be Martha Stewart. Like, that's like... It's like a new thing. It's not like she married Prince Harry and then now it's like, oh, this is her thing. She...

Had her lifestyle blog before the Tig, which she just, like, did all this, basically, just in blog form. And there's been so many rumored projects and the Netflix deal. And we had the Prince and Harry documentary. And then the Spotify situation with the podcast that was short-lived. So it always felt like we were coming on...

Empty promises on projects that these two would be doing and how we'd be seeing them but

This is clearly what Megan's been working on with love. Megan. She's visited by some of her pals as they come into her home. Look, she's got a beautiful home. Welcoming people in. She's going to be teaching us how to get the perfect crisp on your pie and the right glassware to serve at the right event and all those things and gardening and all the things. Clearly that she has a passion for. So you know what?

Fucking hell yeah, Meghan Markle. Meghan Markle's passion project. Yeah. Like... With jam. Where the fuck is the jam? I don't know. Is the jam going to be in the show? In the cooking segment. Like, it's still funny because there are... It continues to be a thing where it does feel like, oh, if one thing slowly disappears...

Just another thing pops up. So it's like, oh, we're forgetting about the jam, the whole website, the whole business. She made herself CEO. There hasn't been one Instagram post since they announced it. It's she sent jam to celebrities and that was it. And now like, oh no, she's got a whole lifestyle show. Boom.

Maybe the jam didn't take off in the way that she thought she would. She was like, I need this show to promote my jam. Yep, yep, yep, yep. I hope the jam is incorporated in the show. Right. It's really a huge miss by Megan if she doesn't incorporate the jam. Yeah. I do enjoy listening to her talk. She has a very calming voice, in my opinion. So I'm intrigued. I think there's a potential for a show like this to be extremely boring. Probably a one-seasoner.

But... Like her podcast. But... That won the People's Choice for Best Podcast. And she just wants... She has a lot of passion projects. Yeah, this is what she loves. She puts her hands in everything, you know? This is what she loves and we're going to see it. And that's what she's saying. Literally the name of the show, With Love. You know, she's showing us...

Show us what she's doing there on Netflix. It's coming like next week also. So we'll get to do a full review of what happens on this show. Groundbreaking. Beekeeping. The whole nine. The whole shebang. Yeah, the whole thing. Which leads us into the weekly watch report. We can wrap up the topics and get to the weekly watch report. Let's do it.

Welcome back to the Weekly Watch Report, where we talk about the things we watch this week. Weekly Watch Report on Monday. Weekly Watch Report on Monday. Weekly Watch Report on Monday. Weekly Watch Report on Monday. Woo! Woo! Gosh, it's all the things we've watched in the past three weeks. Yes. I have some takes. It's not much, to be honest. I have some takes. Oh. Oh.

I'll start off with the ones I don't have takes about. I watched the Paris and Nicole encore, which I loved. I thought it was so cute and fun and harmless. I feel like you're going to name things and I'll be like, oh, I can't remember what I watched three weeks ago. No, it was cute and fun and harmless. And Nicole Richie is hilarious. Wow. She carried that show. Let me tell you, Paris, Hilton brought nothing to that show. Nicole Richie brought everything. Nicole...

is really a comedic talent she really is and i feel like nicole in her mind she's like i got nothing to lose whereas if paris has built this whole brand yeah herself so she's like less you know loosey-goosey but paris and uh i mean nicole richie's hilarious i'll give that a i'll give that a b minus yeah i thought it was enjoyable for what it was you know nothing crazy but enjoyable i watched saturday night the movie i watched that saturday night live yeah about saturday night live

It was okay. You know, I thought it was good. A good, fine watch. Like nothing to write home about. Like a movie. It was a movie. Yep. And yeah, I'll give it a C. Yep. Straight down. Straight. Average. That's how I'd rate it. It was a C to me. Yep. I'm like, you know, I enjoyed my time, but you know, probably never watched it again.

I watched The Night Before. I've never seen that Christmas movie. Great movie. Great movie. Yeah, I like that movie. The ending? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was totally surprised by it. I don't want to spoil it, but... Yeah. I mean... No, I know. I've... Yeah. What are the real... That's like a top Christmas movie for me now. I haven't watched that movie in a long time, but it is good. In the scheme of Christmas movies, I'm giving that an A. Yeah. You know? So fair. It's a really... It's a great...

I had a great time watching it. So The Night Before, that gets an A for me in the scheme of Christmas movies, you know? Yeah. Which I guess maybe I should just rate it like it's a regular movie, but whatever. A Real Pain with Kieran Culkin, Jesse Eisenberg. Oh, I'm jealous. I want to see it. Good movie. Can you stream it? Yes. You have to buy it. You have to buy it. No, I mean, I'll buy it. Yeah. Good movie. I want to watch it. You know what I mean? What I appreciated, I think we talked about this

Or Noah, and I talked about it. We didn't talk about him winning. Yeah, oh yeah, Kieran won. Oh, how funny is that? For a real pain. And it's so funny, Jeremy Strong, he was so pissed. He looked like he was pissed. I mean, I think, granted, you just look like an idiot no matter what when you're in that outfit. Yeah, it's a horrendous outfit. But it was major eldest son vibes. Yeah, for sure. Which is great. The subtle... What's the word I'm looking for? Subtlety? Is that the word? The subtlety of this film is what I really enjoyed. Little moments in which it felt...

like the dialogue was really real, you know? Like it wasn't overacted. Like it was just like felt like. It was interesting because I saw. Appreciate Jesse Eisenberg's work. Yes. Yeah, I watched a lot of interviews because he directed and wrote it. But that Karen, he would like try to direct Karen Culkin before a scene and Karen Culkin would be like, let me just like do the scene. Like I don't. Yeah, yeah. He would just do it and then it would be better than what Jesse Eisenberg like thought.

I've seen a lot of interviews of the two of them, and it is funny because what Jesse's saying is positive about him, but then also sounds like that Kieran is maybe not your typical actor. It sounds like they're the characters that they played in real life. That dynamic is how it is in real life. Yeah. I enjoyed my time watching it. I'm torn between a B and a B+.

Because at some points I did find it to be a little bit boring. But I also found it interesting as well. I loved the story behind it. So I'll give it a B. Okay. That feels like more like my true rating. That's how you truly feel. Yes. Now, okay, we'll go into Squid Games. Because I have like three like trivia type shows to talk about. But Squid Game, watch season two. I thought season one was...

so much better than season two like i i don't even think it's close yes and so i'll give squid game a c yeah it is tough because it's just a giant setup yeah i'll give squid game a c like the middle like i'm i i like when they're in the game more yeah um so the first two episodes were a little slow for me then they get into the game i appreciate the game but i didn't even think it was close to season one so i'll give that a c

Then this, we enter the trivia portion of my watching. Fast Friends with Whitney Cummings on Max. It's a game show about friends. About friends. Yeah. One of the worst shows I've ever seen. Really bad. Like really, really bad. Yeah.

How do you mess up a trivia show? It's just like, it was just, it's just doing too much. Where if it was like a solid, if it was just like a friends trivia show, I think I would enjoy it more. Like all the little like tidbits and things in it, I think are making it super cheesy. Yeah. Where it could have just been like a game. If it was a game show about friends and we take it seriously, like Jeopardy.

then I think I would like it more. But because it's so like cheesy and whatever, it takes it away from me. I told Matt that I didn't know whether I was turned on or turned off by how fast he knew the answers to these questions. Like genuinely faster than the people on the show. Damn. Impressively. He'd be so good with us answering our friends' questions. No, he really would. Phone a friend should just be him because he knew these incredibly fast. I was like, what?

the hell is going on like why we're we watch friends together I don't know these answers and you know them impossibly fast um really just an awful show in my opinion I like if I'm being blunt like I really think it's one of the worst things I've ever watched so I'll give it a D you know yeah just be nice give it a D because it's like one of those that you watch that you're like I can't look away because it's so bad yeah but I never returned for the second episode or anything like that just the first episode pop culture jeopardy with Colin Jost love

love because... A little iffy on it. Well, for me...

Regular Jeopardy is not my forte. I feel like a dumbass when I watch regular Jeopardy. Yeah, most people do. Watching Pop Culture Jeopardy, I feel like a freaking genius. I'm like, oh my God! I'd be going all the way to the quarterfinals, all the way to the end on this show. I'm a big fan of this. I know people had opposite reaction. I'm a big fan of Pop Culture. What don't people like? I don't know. They don't like Colin? Oh, well, I'll tell you what I don't like. Colin...

I don't love Colin. I feel like Colin like makes a lot of like, I feel like Colin doesn't know why Colin's there. Like I, like there's some moments where I'm like, I, not that it needs to be like taken so seriously, but like,

Maybe it is because we are in the pop culture world that I also find I don't love the three-person team setup. You can play that as an individual person, I think. And I think sometimes the three... It might even just be a visual thing to me. It's congested. Maybe it's just because I also watch a lot of Jeopardy. Joe watches every fucking episode of Jeopardy. We watch a lot of Jeopardy.

But...

I feel like they're like, oh, it's silly because it's pop culture, so we'll do three people a team instead of one person gets to be their own person and do pop culture Jeopardy because we have no problem answering the questions at home as one person. But no, I do like Colin a lot. I like him as a person, but there's just some moments on the show where I'm like,

I feel like he's making a joke about the show. And I'm like, come on. Wrapping fun? Yeah, I guess I didn't pick up on that. Yeah. I've quite enjoyed my time watching it. I enjoy watching it. Yeah. Also from the standpoint of like, it is fun because I feel like the answers, I'm like, oh, I know that. Yeah. I like the categories. I think the categories are fun. Categories are good. I've enjoyed my time. I'll give it a, I'll give it an A minus. Yeah. Yeah.

Wow. Maybe it's just because I was like doing nothing. Right. And so I just like enjoyed watching it. Like I can't tell if I really love this show. Yeah. Or if I just really had nothing going on. You know, it's like could be either or. I only I also have not watched like all my genuine reaction was like I fucking love this. I've watched like four.

Oh, like we had friends come over the Saturday before Christmas and they slept over and we watched all 10 episodes that were out together. Yeah. And like we didn't go to sleep till two in the morning. We were having a blast. So I'm going to go with my genuine reaction. Yeah. I fucking love. Maybe it's more meant as like like you're having fun watching it as like a group activity too. Yeah.

Like I've just been watching it by myself. Honestly, a lot of the episodes I've watched with group, like I watched those 10. That's always more fun because then it's like you're really playing a trivia game. Right. I've watched both with separate groups. I mean, Kelly was screaming like this was a separate group because we were watching with other friends the Saturday before. And then this past Friday, we were watching episodes and Kelly Keegs was screaming.

screaming at the TV the answers and was so wrong a lot of the time. First of all, let's just call it how it is. People had edibles. They had wine. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was, you know, whatever. No one was functioning at 100%. No, nobody was functioning at 100%. And especially Kelly, who would yell the answer. It was funny. It was hilarious. And Kelly then started laughing too because she would yell and answer at the TV and it would be so funny.

like she was like so convinced she was so and it would be like the answer that was in the question like the show title would be in the question and she would yell the name of the show and we'd be like Kelly that's in the question she'd be like that's the answer like it was just class it was just funny like I had to be there you know but it was a it's a good time watching with people I think I enjoyed myself there are you smarter than a celebrity hosted by Travis Kelsey no no no nope nope

Better than Fast Friends. Sorry, Trev. Better than one of the worst things you've ever seen. Yeah. No, for me, it wasn't anything having to do with Travis Kelsey. It was...

The dynamic of the show. What was funny about Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader was that, like, are you smarter than a fifth grader? Like, is this grown person going to be smarter than these fifth graders? Are these fifth graders going to know the answers better than this adult? Yeah. Celebrities know, like, everyone's the same age here. Right, right, right. And... You're not 10 years old. No, like, all the celebrities... You're a full-blown grown human being. Right. Full-blown adults who are smart. Right. And...

Are we supposed to assume that the celebrities are dumb? Like, is that the premise? No. That wasn't even part of it either. So it was like... Wait, I don't think I really fully understand the concept of the show. Honestly, I don't think I do either because I was watching going, what is the point of this? Because... Is it celebrities competing against each other or is it a celebrity against regular people? The celebrity... Like, there's like six or five celebrities that sit at their desk and there's one person up there that's like...

And then they get the help of the celebrities. And that's a regular person. Yeah, I think the structure of it is just off. Because I was like, none of this makes sense to me. You know what I mean? They're getting help from the celebrities and the celebrities know the answer. And it's like a whole thing. And it's like, they're going to win in the end. I don't know. A lot of chit-chatting in between. You know, like, it's nice. Here's my issue. And this is going to sound rude. When it comes to a game show,

I'm really there to just watch the game. Yeah, yeah. You don't want all the small talk in between. I don't really care. Well, I fast forward. I, every, like, we record Jeopardy. Yeah. And when it comes back from the first commercial break and all the contestants do their little, their little fun facts, fast forward. Yeah. Every time. That's exactly what we did for Pop Culture Jeopardy. It was Matt's job. Boom, hand him the remote. Boom, boom, boom. Fast forward. Fast forward. Like,

Happy for you. No, that's so nice. But a lot of the times I just want to play the game and I don't care about like the spelling bee. You won almost in like fourth grade. And yeah. And you know what? For somebody who like speaks on a podcast about these random stories about their life, you know.

I sound like a hypocrite being like, I don't care. But people are choosing to listen. And you can fast forward. But I'm not choosing to listen to that. We're also not a game show. Right. I'm not choosing. We are a podcast, right? We have a game show segment. If you want to just fast forward through us talking and do the game show, you can. You're right. You're so right. I'm fast forward through it. So there's a lot of in-between chit-chat on Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? Yeah. And I also am just like,

Once again, it goes back to the pop culture jeopardy. I'm like, I'm loving the pop culture questions. I don't really have an interest in like, yeah, it's just more. It's more in our wheelhouse. You know what I mean? Like I'm done with school. Yeah. Are you smart? And the fifth grader was fun when it came out because I was in school. I was in middle school. Right. And it was like fun to like watch with my parents and like me know the answer and my parents not know the answer. Like that was the thrill of it. Yeah.

I don't give a fuck if I know the answers to this. I don't. I'm not testing my knowledge at that. I don't plan on going back to school. Like, I'm over that. So... Yeah. Well, that's everything I watched. Oh, I watched Southern Charm. Sorry, I forgot that. Oh, yes. I'll give Southern Charm... I haven't watched the new episode because there was a break. I give Southern Charm... I don't know. I'm not loving it. That's fine. Like, see? Yeah. That's what I'm giving Southern Charm right now. Yeah.

What was I going to say? I feel like there are housewife shows that I have tried, that I have been watching that I honestly cannot fully grade to a respectable degree right now because I watched them three weeks ago. And they have been on, because the way the holidays fell, there hasn't been new episodes of some of them. I did catch up on The Challenge, but I still think I'm an episode behind because I think there was a new one this week.

Or last week. But we're all, I mean, this has felt like a really long season. I don't know if that's the case or not, but it's felt like a really long season. But we're basically right at, like, I think, you know, the final is around the corner or maybe it happened last week and I missed it still. But I believe that's where they were headed. But I've enjoyed the challenge. I'll give it a B-. Squid Game Season 2.

Yeah, I just it just felt like it felt incomplete to me where it was like it had so much potential if it maybe had three more episodes. Like it was only seven episodes and it was such a setup season because I know like the third season is coming out like relatively faster. Yeah.

And so I'm guessing like season two and season three are more, like it really could have been like 2A and 2B. Did you see reports that Leonardo DiCaprio was like confirmed to be in season three? What? Yeah, I saw that. And like then the director had said that like he won't, that we're going to be A-list celebrities in season three.

leonardo caprio is going to be in season i saw that and i like that feels like a fake i don't really believe it but like it was like posted by like i think like a pretty credible like that feels like a fake headline and i had to do a double take but yeah like why yahoo i'm just like are you seeing it there's rumors about it what would he be in maybe like one of the guys like one of the people the crazy people who bet money on it i don't know

Here's a Forbes article. Netflix denies American A-list cameo in Squid Game season three. For a brief moment, there was a report from Korea's OSEN claiming inside knowledge that a specific A-list star would be heading to Squid Game season three for a cameo role. Star was none other than Leonardo DiCaprio, about as A-list as you can get. However, Netflix came out to shut this down almost as soon as it started to spread, calling it entirely unfounded.

Damn it. Okay. Well, that was a rollercoaster. Maybe they're still lying. For a second, I really thought Leonardo DiCaprio was going to be in Squid Game and then that lasted about 20 seconds. So now I don't. Right. You never know. Honestly, I even think that that's just like a bad idea. Like that would be so disorienting. Yeah. And what really, but no, I just think like, it does feel like this was a part one type situation because I just, I just kept getting, I kept getting frustrated about,

while they were in the game because I just really wanted to know what the bosses like motives were being in the game and like competing so hard and like I get it now like and then it just ended and I'm like ugh like come on but it's like the whole time I'm just like what is this guy doing I'm like obviously he's like he's on the inside but I'm like what's what's get to the get to the motive like I want to see him back to being the bad guy and like why he's doing this and then it's just a cliffhanger I feel like

The creator of the show said that they never thought it would go past a season one. So they kind of had to scramble, put their brains together for ideas for a season two, season three. So at this point, I feel like season two and season three is just going to be basically the concepts like one season. It's just in terms of storytelling, three.

It was so abrupt. And every time there was like one moment that really mattered at the end between the police brother of the bad guy. I'm like every time they show them on this fucking boat and they're looking and they fail. I'm like how many times are they just gonna... It just felt...

a little repetitive in the middle of the season and then finally towards the end it was like oh you know whatever the captain's in on it it's something that everybody's in on it everybody knows what's going on but you get confused while watching this that you were watching the reality show

Because there were moments where I had to remind myself that I wasn't watching the reality show Squid Game and I was watching the actual show Squid Game. Every time they showed the colorful staircase, that's when I was getting thrown off. And then when I was talking about last season, I would almost reference the reality show and be like, wait, no. That's what happened on the reality show, not the first season. That's not what happened in the actual show. I still find it to be...

Very interesting. And, you know, the whole premise is fascinating. And obviously just like the ideas of the lengths people will go for money and greed and all those, you know. I had to look up the... It's really...

currency yeah I had to look up the currency because they kept talking about millions billions and I'm like I guess I didn't it didn't hit me the first season but it was hitting me more this season because of all the back and forth yeah yeah yeah yeah and I'm like wait why aren't they take and then I looked it up and I was like oh it's not you know it's not really it's not equal at all no close no so yeah I mean it's obviously still a very good show yeah absolutely and and it's so it is so well acted but I just felt like

the pacing was not as good as the first season. I just think the first season was just spectacular. It was. It's really hard to... You're not going to have that shock value. Yeah, exactly. It's just really hard to kind of remake that kind, like do more seasons of a show like that that really, at the end of the day, was intended to be one season, you know? So I'll give it a B- as well. Yeah.

That's like kind of... I've been catching up on Abbott Elementary because they're doing a crossover with It's Always Sunny this week. And I realized that I hadn't started the newer... This season that it's on right now, I hadn't started. So that was like throwing that on late at night. I love that show. It's a B+. It's so cute. And I've loved... There was a... I catch myself actually laughing out loud a lot of the times. And then I'm like... But...

of

And I always space on all that. I tell them by their teacher names. But Miss Chimente, they all get class pets. And she gets the skinny pig. She ends up wanting to steal the skinny pig. It's a whole thing. Anyway, I love that show. Classic hijinks. Yeah, and I can't wait. I'm excited for the crossover. I think that's going to be very funny. I'm assuming you watched Shrinking, the finale. No. You didn't? Nope. Wow.

Haven't watched the finale. There are certain things like I just really was not watching a lot of TV. Joe was adamant about watching Squid Game. That was like the only thing we watched. Other than that, like when we were in Florida, we were, I read a couple books. It's a good beach time. Yeah, exactly. And then like around Christmas time, we were just more, we did Christmas movies more.

and did a holdovers rewatch fucking this such a great movie oh god such a great movie and um oh i watched her number two oh um it was good i don't really have too much like i wasn't blown away um solid yeah totally like like good movie yeah uh but was not like whoa like

I love Nicholas Holt. He's really having a big year. He is. And one of my favorite things every time people talk about Nicholas Holt, I was doing it to my family, like after we were watching Journal No. 2, was talk about how he and Jennifer Lawrence dated for so long. And people are like, oh my God, I didn't know that. I'm like, yep. So true. Yep. I was a big fan of that relationship when that was a thing. But no, I thought it was good. Yeah.

It was an interesting premise.

I'm not really one... I know I get it. I understand an ending like that where you can obviously kind of put the pieces together of what's happening. I like those type of endings. Sopranos ending. Yeah, but... I mean, it wasn't like a big... In my mind, it wasn't like a big mystery. I'm like, she's got... You kind of... Yeah. Unless the wild card is you really think she did whatever. But yeah, I'll give it a...

What do I give it? I'll give it a B. Well acted, good premise, but not like shockingly great for me, you know? - Yeah.

That's got to be everything I did. There's, yeah. Okay. I have a bunch of stuff I'll try to go through quickly for you. For the sake of everyone, really. This is a long ass episode. Heretic? Is that how you say it? Heretic? Heretic? Okay. I think. I've heard people say it differently. I don't know. Be, like, it wasn't,

I didn't love the movie, but Hugh Grant gave a great performance. It's like creepy, very creepy. Does he play like a murderer? It's hard to explain. All I know is I saw a TikTok interview of him where I was like, God, I love this man because he cracks me up. The interviewer on the carpet was like,

you know, this role for you, you know, it's like a dark role. Do you struggle, you know, taking the character home with you or anything? And he's like, oh, he goes, oh, oh yeah, just before I got here, I killed three people. Do you know what his middle name is? No. Mungo.

Oh, yeah. I did not know that. Hugh Mungo Grant. Is this a joke? No, it's not. I'm not playing a joke on you. His actual... Why? His actual middle name is... Hugh John Mungo Grant is his full name. Oh, okay. But still, that's ridiculous. But still, having Mungo in there is insane. No, no, 100%. 100%. Like, why did they put Mungo in there? It had to be for a joke. Yeah, like his parents were like, we're going to throw Mungo in there, and his name is going to be Hugh Mungo Grant. Hugh John Mungo Grant. I might...

What other words would be funny like that to give your kid first and middle name that are connected? He... Guy Gantick? Hugh Grant jokes unkind parents are to blame for his unusual middle name. Seriously, though. Yeah. That's a cruel joke. Seriously. You thought I was pulling a dad joke? No, I thought, yes. For a second, I thought you saw a dad joke and it was just to make me say Hugh Mungo out loud. Nope. That's his middle name. But yeah, I think the movie had like a...

It was more like a deeper meaning than just the creepiness of it all. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I didn't love it, so yeah, I'll give it a B. Uh,

I watched Subservience, the new Megan Fox movie on Netflix. Horrible. And I knew it was horrible going in. It was a Megan Fox movie, so I was going to watch it. That's a D. She plays an AI robot that basically is obsessed with the husband while his wife is sick. Yeah, isn't it that really hot guy who's the other guy in it that was in the other Netflix show that everybody freaked out about him? The Italian guy? Yeah.

Uh-huh. What's his name? They're just like, hey, we'll put two... Chris, the one that everybody wanted to set up with Khloe Kardashian that time, remember? He's Chris something, right? Right? They were just like, we'll put two hot people in this and people will watch, which I think is probably true. Doesn't save the movie. His name... Michael Maroon. Michelle Maroon. Yeah. Michele. Michele. Where did I get Chris from? Michelle. Michele. That guy's name is not Chris. Yeah, he's not Chris. This is an Italian. This is an Italian Italian right here. I don't know why I said Chris.

Yeah, Shrinking 11 and 12, episodes 11 and 12. I'll give it a B+. I saw people, I was preparing myself. People online were like, you're going to be sobbing at these last couple episodes. Did I watch it? No, you guys thought the finale was like 9. No, I was so wrong. I thought the finale was episode 10. I thought it was 10, and then there was 11, and then there was 12. Right. This is definitely not a finale. Spoiler, did it end with him going...

To Brett Goldstein's character On the train Yes But that was 12 That was 12 And like And he You know takes But then he Yeah Okay I did watch that one So you watched the finale I did watch the finale I watched it But once again It was three weeks ago It's the light time It was last year

It's a war! It was last year! How can you blame her? Yeah. Is there another season? Or no, this is it? I don't even know. I don't... But I feel like this should be it. I don't think there should be another season. They've like wrapped everything up nicely in my mind. I know. And every time I watch Harrison Ford's character, I just think, God, if they just keep making more seasons, like... He's gonna be like... It's just gonna... They're gonna kill him off. Yeah, exactly. So... I started to think like...

did they write this in like does he have this in real life i don't know like i don't believe i don't think so he was there last night look fine i did watch it oh i thought i yes okay yep yep i'll see episode 12 mark me down as a as a as a b plus as well yeah i thought it was b plus like just solid like i can't keep saying it's corny because like that's just what the show is there are moments where i'm like oh my

I like that Gabby's guy came back. Yeah. That made me happy. I like it. There's a lot of moments where I know exactly what's going to, it's just very predictable at times. But it's sweet. Like Liz getting to be the nanny, like getting the nanny for that. I was, you know, it's all, it's all coming back to me now. And it's all coming back to me. So that, I watched Gladiator 2, C plus, like it's kind of exactly what I expected. Basically the first Gladiator, but just not nearly as good. And like so many callbacks and like,

Like, honestly, I was Denzel. It was great. He's always great. But people were acting like he was like he was Denzel. Right. That's all. He's Denzel. Yeah. Squid Game. I'll give it a B plus. Like, I still like think that's it's not as good as the first season, but it's better than most TV I watch. And I was like locked in and I'd binge it on like one day. I watched A Complete Unknown, the Timothee Chalamet, Bob Dylan movie.

I've seen mixed reviews about this. I personally, like, I'm a big Bob Dylan fan. I've always liked his music. So this movie is just right up my alley. So it's an A in my book. I think Timothee Chalamet should win the Oscar. Like, no questions. I haven't seen every movie. I thought he was incredible. Like, he's the best part of the movie. I could see why some people might say it's boring at times or like, it's not like the deepest story. But...

I thought he earned, I thought himself, like he maybe bumped it from an A minus to an A, like in my book. Wow. Maybe a B plus to an A, like that's how good he was. Wow. Dang. Timothy. Yeah. A good writing for Timothy right there. Uh,

I watched this movie called I Like Movies, which is a new movie. Another one right up your alley. Yeah, a new movie. She describes you. And it's basically about this kid who works at a... It kind of seems like it's about Quentin Tarantino. It has nothing to do with him, but it's like a kid who works at a video shop. He's kind of a weird outcast kid, and he's obsessed with movies, and that's the whole movie. And it's...

It has 100% Rotten Tomatoes. Of course it does. It's a movie about movies. And he's selling... It sounds like Noah's selling his own movie. That's an inside job. That's an inside job review right there. And then it gets really deep at times. I mean, this kid has issues. I'll give it a B+. I thought it was good. There's a lot of cool movie references that they do throughout the movie, just subtle movie references. I'd recommend it. I watched Saturday Night Night, C+. I thought just...

It seemed like it was trying to be Aaron Sorkin-y and very quick and just a lot of high pressure. But I don't know. I didn't really believe the performances. I'm with you. Lorne Michaels. Lorne Michaels' character, I'm like, it seems like a kid. I totally agree with you. He wasn't selling it for me. I thought Chevy Chase, whoever...

yeah there were some people like Dan Aykroyd oh Dylan O'Brien I thought did great as Dan Aykroyd there were some people who were good Lorne Michaels character kind of ruined it for me I don't know I'm with you I think he is what took me out of it and I'm like I don't know enough about Lorne Michaels in that state of his life to know if this is like how he sounded and acted but it just was weird to me um

I watched this new Michael... I'm getting close, by the way. Goodrich. It's Michael Keaton and Mila Kunis came out this year. I actually never had heard of it promoted or anything, and I saw it on Prime and watched it, and I loved it. Like...

Michael Keaton basically is this absentee dad because he's always working, and then his wife just goes to rehab without telling anyone, so now he needs to take care of these kids. And Neil Kunis is an older daughter from his first marriage, and it's just about him becoming the dad that he never was. But I thought it was awesome. Michael Keaton's always good.

That's an A- for me. Wow. That's a good score from you. Yeah. And I watched the Avicii documentary. Oh, I want to watch that. Yeah. I know. I want to watch it too. Avicii, I'm Tim. All my friends have only said that. They're like, cried. Yeah. And the thing is, it's like, I don't really know much about Avicii because I am not in the EDM world at all. I don't like that type of music. Avicii has a couple songs that I like because they're that good, but I don't know much about him specifically.

So honestly, I didn't even know how he died. Like I knew he died, but I didn't know like how I thought it was like an overdose. Very sad. Like the first half is interesting to see him like come up and like how he became how big he was. But yeah,

I mean, obviously, it's just really sad. It's a sad story. Half of the thing is just really, really sad. Some of the most fun nights I've had in my life were at Avicii concerts. Yeah. I went to a wedding last year where the Walk Down the Aisle song was... Or maybe Walk Out was levels. Like, when they walked out of... Yeah, I'm gonna...

Hope it was walking out. No, it wasn't it wasn't like it was like levels but done within like a yeah. Yeah. Yes. Yes It might have been the walk down And then I watched a Nora the other night another one that was like I think this number one I'm on watch I didn't know like much about it going in

other than people being like it's really good and she was amazing um i did have to google uh like during the golden globes i've just seen so many people talking about anora and then i was like i actually have no idea what this movie is even about i just googled it just to see the no but just to see like the the two-liner like i didn't like search anything else i think but just for like the premise i was like okay yeah i think it was good i didn't know much about it um

it was very like uncut gems-y and but there are a lot of funny like very funny um but also like really sad at points but I thought it was really well done like and she was incredible I think she could win I think like she could easily win um and yeah I thought it was really really good obviously like I would just recommend don't watch it with I watched it alone don't watch it with your parents um just very graphic and sexual a lot of the movie um yeah

And a lot of it's in Russian. Just a heads up. Yeah. But that's an A for me. Solid. And I rewatched A Real Pain yesterday. I had watched it like months ago when I came out in theaters, but my parents were watching it. So I rewatched it and it's still an A. Yeah. Solid. So that's it. That's some good ones. I want to watch Avicii and Anora. Yeah. Those are definitely on my list too. And I want to watch A Real Pain. All right. That is everything we watched.

And that wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office. Thank you so much for watching and listening. It was a long one. You know, it was a long one and bearing with us for those two weeks that we were off. And now we're officially back, ready for 2025. Big year. Let's get into it, guys.
