If you come from nothing, it's hard because you have those limiting beliefs from your family and all that. But that's what you need to do. That plus work hard, man. Like take care of yourself. Work out. If you're fit, you're going to be confident. When you're confident, you attack the day better and you take more risks. And you're typically more successful. I mean, look at the most successful people in the world. So I would say just do it, man. Attack. Work on your mindset. And from there, just pay to be in those rooms that you know will take you to that next level.

My name's Rudy Moore, host of Living the Red Life podcast, and I'm here to change the way you see your life in your earpiece every single week. If you're ready to start living the red life, ditch the blue pill, take the red pill, join me in Wonderland and change your life.

Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Living the Red Life. Excited for today's episode. Similar story to mine that we're going to dive into where it was like a side hustle to make some cash, but this time sports betting and then going into real estate, which is what I obviously started to do as well. And then building into a big empire, which is now I think the mission, right? Dude, happy to have you here. Excited to have you here and

talk about your journey. And obviously we got connected more recently, but now we're both hanging in Miami. And I love how you took this, you know, kind of hobby, right? Where for most people, but then made one and a half million dollars doing it, right? Sports betting. And now you're getting into the game of real estate and building a big team and

maybe that's where the tens and hundreds of millions will come from. That's the idea. How did it start? How did we get into it? College primarily. I was making money sports betting. I've been in sports my whole life. Basketball, football, you name it, right?

In college, I was known as a guy to go to for sports picks. I had a group chat with friends all over the place. I didn't think of it at the time as much. I was just like, you know what? I'm making money. I'm helping my friends. Graduated, went to a Tony Robbins event, Gary V. He mentioned how you need social media in the future. And I was like, man, what can I do? At the time, I was working at Morgan Stanley. And I was like, I don't want to do anything in the financial area. Sports. Let's just try it out as a hobby. And I started with one page called NFBets with my partner. Grew that little organic, just giving picks, selling for five bucks a day.

At the time with my partner, it wasn't going too well. He wasn't doing like the half that he needed. So I started AF Sports. And AF Sports was all mine. I got into Tai Lopez's groups, Cody Sperber, a whole bunch of different people that taught me how to run ads, how to grow businesses. And that's how I grew AF Sports. Now in the last, I'd say three years, I started putting that money into real estate, buying flipping houses here in Tampa Bay area, Miami, and we wholesale big time.

We transitioned now primarily more to going rentals because of the market shift. But that's the idea right now. We're building a team. We've added three new guys to the team here in Tampa and looking to expand it to make it a billion dollar business. Cool. So I was about to ask, where do you see it over the next five or 10 years? What's the mission and vision?

The mission and vision is to grow your local home buyer, which is my real estate company, to all 50 states. Wholesaling be closing deals right now. The number one wholesale in the country closes a deal every 13 seconds. Wow. So my goal is 10. And you're doing how many a week, you told me? We do 5 to 10 a month. So you got some catching up to do. I do. It's okay. We're starting. Yeah, yeah. We got a young team and they're hungry. Good.

So how did you go? How did you start the betting side and start making hundreds of thousands of dollars? What was, you know, you're doing it with your buddies, but how did you turn this into a real business and then teach hundreds of people to do that? I started with the Instagram itself. Again, it was a trial and error learning along the way. I was good at it. I started charging people for my picks. And as I started growing, a lot of competitors started coming into the field because they started seeing people making money. What makes me stand out is transparency. And I win long term. That's how I preach it.

Most pages nowadays are promoting like a one get rich quick scheme. I'm the complete opposite. I'm reliable. I'm transparent. If I lose, I admit it. I show my face. Most people don't do that. That gave me, gave people the confidence to trust me by my course. And now I'm teaching it, which I just started off because of you. Yeah, yeah. Which is what we're doing and all that.

I started teaching people how to sports bet. Yeah. The long-term plan and all that. But not everybody wants to learn how to do it. A lot of people still want to just get picks. Yeah, sure. They'll do that too. And that's kind of the whole model. You know, the reason I wanted to have you on here is, you know, on this podcast and on the shows, I love to demonstrate how there's so many ways to make money, right? And often the most obvious way for a lot of people, which they don't realize at the time, is you become great at a skill and then you start teaching that skill, right? Yeah.

selling that skill, helping people learn that skill. And then eventually you might also support them in some done for you manner, right? Which is kind of how you've gone, right? So you started as a skill for yourself and your buddies. Then you started just giving people picks, right? So that done for you, hey, take this, right? And now you're trying to do more of the mass market, which we've helped you with, right? Which is the education side and empathetic

empowering people to learn from all your knowledge and experience. Just how I started in fitness, right? It was a hobby, going to the gym, right? Became a personal trainer, went online. And that was my ascension too. And there's so many of, you know, the listeners out there, I think that have these skills, right? Whether it's really their passion for real estate, flipping or car rentals or whatever sort of businesses, and they can take that expertise and turn it into a profitable business, right? So where did the real estate part come in?

So I actually started in a real estate firm after Morgan Stanley. Morgan Stanley was a nine to five. I really early on knew I didn't want to do that. The nine to five route. Dabbled around jobs, mortgage and all that. And then I fell into a wholesale real estate brokerage here in St. Pete. That's how I learned real estate. It was a commission based job only. I had to survive or go back home to my parents, which I did not want to do. And so that's where I learned everything. In three months, I sold my first deal. It was a pain in the butt to say the least. But within six months, I became the number one disposition agent in that company.

And from there I quit. Quit the company and started doing it with my partner. Basically the same model. I replicated it. I do it better, I think. And now we're looking to improve upon it. One thing that, like the second thing I want you guys to take away from this podcast is there's always two phases of entrepreneurship I see.

Phase one is make money. And I actually taught this at my mastermind weekend just now. But phase one is make money. Phase two is invest that money to build something really big and profitable and something you can exit or pays over time. And I mean, you've kind of followed that model, right? Because the betting was making the cash flow. And now, but it's like, well, you could just have to keep doing that forever. Whereas

Now you're building a company that's going to have employees and maybe you can sell one day and blah, blah, blah. Right. And then I'm sure maybe at some point to your real estate, your own real estate portfolio might grow. And that's your cash flow, your investments long term that will cash flow out. Do you have

a goal in terms of actual real estate investments? Yeah, man. So we make, with my partner, we make goals every year. Typically, we're looking to add anywhere right now, 10 to 20 units on the rental portfolio. I think on the cash flow aspect of it on a yearly basis, goal-wise in the near term, looking to make 100,000 a month. Yeah, great.

Great. Long term, probably a couple mil. Yeah. But we're focusing right now on the $100,000 and getting to that point. Yep. Yep. So let's talk about, you know, the ads, the marketing, the social media. I know you've been working with my team and you've just started some of the ad side for this new venture. Talk about how that's going, results, what you learned there. Because I think it's really cool for people to see like, hey, you're in one industry. Now you're in this, doing this, launching that.

And how quickly you got it started. Yeah, man. So honestly, the one thing that's helped us a lot has been the Google ads. Yeah. And I didn't know anything about it. So your team and it's been fast, you know. Well, you came in my office in Miami and showed me. Yeah, man. It was amazing. It was amazing. We got two deals out of that within the first month of trying that. And you spent. We're spending two to three hundred dollars a day. Yeah. So you'd spent how much at the time? Like four thousand five hundred when I showed you. Yeah. And you'd made back.

So one of the deals is $7,000, one of those is $10,000. Yeah, $17,000. That's a great start, right? Great start. So that's why right now, we're looking to scale that, grow that, and potentially do Facebook ads down the line, YouTube ads, all that. And the side of sports betting, once you learn, you teach it well, the offers, how to market a product. That's how I translate it to the sports side of things. Because I was like, you know what, man? I'm competing with these people that are all trying to get picks. I'm the best one, right? I definitely think that. I know that.

but what if I switch it up and I teach them nobody's doing that and I implemented everything you taught with the ads the videos the funnel and all that cool so what would you say someone listening it's resonating with this they've got a skill they've got something they do well but they're kind of like not sure how to make a business out of it what would you say to them man you gotta try and you gotta fail that's kind of how you gotta do it man because if you don't try what are you doing yeah and it's gonna suck there's gonna be points that suck but it's

it's worth it at the end of the day. You grow and you see it. If I put myself in a position where I look back two, three years, I've grown so much. Ever since I joined your group, I've grown so much. It was a risk of course, at the end of the day, but that's life. - Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a second. Before we go into the rest of this episode, I'm gonna interrupt abruptly and just ask you one big favor. I hope you're getting a ton of value, a ton of knowledge. I hope you're getting some breakthroughs from myself and the guests. And I want one thing in return.

what I would love is for you to subscribe and leave a review. The reviews and the subscription grows the podcast. It allows me to bring you even better guests. It allows me to invest even more time and money into this podcast to bring you the latest and greatest, the best entrepreneurs from around the world that are crushing life, crushing their business, and giving you all the tools, the mindset hacks,

So do me a favor, if you've got any amount of value from today's episode so far, or any previous episode or any of the content I've done, it would mean the world to me if you hit a five-star review, give us your feedback on the show, the episodes,

and subscribe and download. Plus, if you do that and send me a screenshot on Instagram at RudyMoreLife, I will send you a bunch of my free training, marketing courses, sales courses worth $499. Yes, $500 worth of courses for a simple 30-second review. It would mean the world to me. Send me that screenshot. I would love for you to leave that review and I would have

appreciate it very, very much so we can keep growing this show and make it awesome. So let's get back into the episode. I appreciate you guys and let's dive back in. And what are the biggest things you've learned from the group, from our programs? Man, honestly, joining

Putting myself in rooms that I'm not necessarily the biggest. For example, that's one of them. You learn a lot. Being humble too, man, when you come into these rooms and trying to learn and pick people's brain rather than coming in and trying to show off, I guess you could say. Lastly, man, just be engaged with the people like your coaches, yourself, man, trying to pick your brain as much as possible.

to grow, man. That's why we're here. Yeah, and you're learning, you know, skills for life in business, right? Google, all the ad side, you're like now learning. What else? The sales process? The sales process, marketing sales process,

Paul has helped us a lot with sales. We do the calls. Yeah, sales for sure. I'll be honest, man. The coaching program, you have it in your mastermind program where it's like you have the sales script. All you have to do is change the wording, products and stuff. I've been using that, man. To close high end clients. For the real estate side. The real estate and the sports betting coaching program. I literally get them in a Zoom now. And I didn't know about this process prior to you, honestly, because all I was doing was trying to sell them through text. Yeah, DMs. DMs and all that. And now getting them in a call and trying to do high tech and like in those pain points.

After I started doing that, it's all changed. The last three weeks, I've made $50,000 just by that course, the sports betting course. Wow. $10,000. 10K, that's crazy, right? Six-month program. What were you doing a year ago or two years ago? Selling picks. On average, it's a $20,000, $30,000 because I'm a subscription model. That's the pick side of things. It's a little more workload though because you got to be subscribing, keeping them happy, putting them in the chat, putting them all that. Oh, so that's the done-for-you side.

when I'm giving you just picks. You're buying a pass from me and I put you in a Telegram email and I send you daily picks. But now I'm teaching you how to do it. Everything I've learned, I'm teaching it. And one of the tactics I'm using right now is I'm retiring in the next seven months. So learn all before I leave. Yeah, to go into the real estate side, right? Yeah, I love it. So what

What do you think is next for you in the next year? You know, in terms of the building the team, like I think this is great for everyone to understand because you're in that starting phase, right? You don't have 100 employees. So what are you learning as you're going into that phase? Because, you know, betting, it's kind of just you, right? You're giving picks. So I would love to hear from you what you're learning going through the team phase, building the team, problem solving.

problems what's going well what's not going well being a leader man being a leader because the people i'm bringing in two of them are good friends of mine okay and they're believing in me one of them was a pa he quit the job to come from a real estate firm because he believes in me yeah so i got to be a leader and act the right way so that wasn't necessarily the case with sports betting i did have a team but a lot of vas yeah so it wasn't the same thing i dealt with clients myself but it was a one-on-one thing now i'm thinking more i would say long term okay and i'm

trying to really instead of focusing on like alright we're closing deals focus on my guys I know if my guys I grow them I like teach them to become the studs that I know they can be the business is going to succeed so I feel like my focus has shifted more into developing them to become the studs that I need them to be and I know them to be yeah so you know I teach folks on the team the processes the system the KPIs and then

everything should fall through that to below, right? So rarely I care about like one sale or one thing. And even when my team get obsessed about this package or this problem, I'm like, does this represent everyone, right? Because it's very, you know, if you think in isolation, that's kind of more narrow minded from a business standpoint, you have to focus on the core elements and then hope that it falls through. And that's how you scale the business. Yeah.

What else in terms of, you know, the social media? I know you're learning that and growing the personal brand, Instagram, everything. What's your vision there?

end up with my personal brand. Yeah, yeah. My vision, man, I'm big on discipline and inspiring others, man. If I'm being really honest, I think that self-discipline is the key to success. Yeah. And I embody that pretty well because I do a lot of things in the morning. I have a good routine. I believe that discipline got me to where I am today. Okay, great. And that's what I want to inspire, man. Just show that I'm an immigrant from Colombia. I come from nothing. My dad sells cars. You know, I come from nothing and I've gotten to this point.

I'm not at 1% where I want to be, but I'm a lot further than I thought I would be. Yeah, 100%. So someone listening to this that's a few years before you, so they're in a 9-5 or they're thinking of quitting or they're doing this side hustle thing but want to start a business, what would you say to them? Do it, man. Do it. Take the chance. Because especially if you're a young man and if you're not, still do it, right? Just coordinate it well so if something does happen, you don't go broke or you don't go south.

But if you're not trying it now when you're young, then what are you going to do when you have kids and you're married? When you have less time? I think we could both attest, man, that the younger you are, the more time you have. And that's when I started my sports betting page. That's when I was really focusing on everything. As you start growing, you know, you start getting more responsibility. Yeah, I mean, 20 to 30, you should be hustling, trying new things.

trying to build something cool still, like not use it as an excuse to do nothing either, right? Like you can achieve so much these days in your 20s to 30s. And then for me, at least 30 to 40 now is like build an empire, right? And then be set from 40 in terms of, you know, at least financially and everything's good and stable. And I have CEOs and C-suites and I'm out of the day to day. And then that's when I think you go more into,

philanthropy and visionary and all of those sort of things if you do it fast, right? And I mean, some people get to that when they're 65, 70, but I want to go there earlier to have more time to do the impact side. Same, I'm with you. Any final, you know, inspirational tips or lessons or tricks or things you've learned through this process you want to share to someone near the Red Life podcast is all about taking the red pill, building the life of your dreams,

Defining the norm, going against the norm. And as I speak about, and we said this weekend, it's hard because most of the time your family are against you, right? People around you are against you. So what would you say to anyone that's about to take the red pill? I would work on mindset first in your belief and confidence in yourself and your self-image. Because that's first man. Without that, you're not going to get anywhere, right? So work on that. Bob Proctor, Tony Robbins has helped me a bunch.

Yeah. And I mean, you've done a good job of that, right? Coming here, getting in our group, our community, that's going to pay off for you. I'm in Miami now. You're going to meet all my friends through that and all the big biggest players. And I've spent over a million dollars doing the same. So that's where it got me where I am today. Lastly, where do they find you? People want to be inspired, watch your journey, follow your journey, see you.

everything how can they find you instagram instagram at federico f-e-d-e-r-i-c-o iris a-r-i-s-4 that's my instagram i'm also on youtube we'll put it do you put it on the notes yeah we'll put it on the house yeah my name is quite long so i'm not going to spell this out that's why i like rudy all you do yeah i might change it to fred and call it a day but yeah that's my instagram and my website as well we'll put in the notes all right buddy appreciate you coming on and excited to keep supporting you especially now we're in miami too we've got the office here and
