52-year-old Willie Frank Peterson of Dothan, Alabama, is back behind bars just two months after former President Biden commuted his sentence and released him from prison. Peterson had been convicted in 2023 of drug and theft charges and sentenced to 30 months.

Now, Jotham police have charged Peterson with possession of cocaine, hydrocodone, marijuana, and two counts of illegal firearms possession. Fox's Sue Guzman. Columbia University in New York is reportedly closer to satisfying a list of demands from the Trump administration to restore $400 million in federal funding. The demands include a mask ban and a crackdown on anti-Israel protests on campus, as well as enforcing discipline of protesters who took over Hamilton Hall last spring and formalizing the definition of anti-Semitism.

A letter from Columbia's interim president, Katrina Armstrong, was posted to the school's website on Wednesday, outlining the steps the school has taken since last year's protests, while also saying they're working, quote, around the clock to secure the future of the university. Fox's Tonya J. Powers.
