Now, some countries are reciprocating, but top White House economic advisor Kevin Hassett just told Fox many countries want to make tariff deals. Spending a lot of the time this morning doing... President Trump posted on Truth Social a short time ago. He had a good call with South Korea's acting president, working on what he calls a potentially great deal. He also wrote, China wants to make a deal, but they don't know how to get it started, as he threatens an additional 50% tariff on Chinese goods if they don't cancel retaliatory tariffs on American exports. China will fight to the end, according to the country's Commerce Ministry, warning that if the U.S. imposes even more tariffs on Chinese goods, Beijing has nothing.
