He's clean-shaven in an orange jumpsuit. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. Luigi Mangione, the man accused of killing UnitedHealthcare's CEO, in court now in Pennsylvania where he just waived extradition, not fighting, being sent to New York. Once in Manhattan, Luigi Mangione could be arraigned on 11 criminal counts as soon as this afternoon, and that includes that first-degree murder charge as an act of terrorism. Fox's Brian Yennis outside the court.

Our colleagues at Fox 5 in New York reporting that the NYPD will move Luigi Mangione via plane, that they do not want to drive him the five hours that it would take to get from Altoona to New York to avoid that media spectacle that that would ensue. There are Mangione supporters outside holding free Luigi signs. Thousands of Amazon delivery drivers on strike at seven warehouses from California to New York, where Teamsters local president Vincent Peroni says they want.

a good salary. They want prevailing wages. They want benefits, health and welfare benefits. Amazon refuses to negotiate with the Teamsters, saying most of those who walked out are not actually Amazon employees, but third-party drivers, making up a small percentage of warehouse staff. So the retail giant says the strike will not disrupt overall holiday shipping for Amazon. House Republicans working on a new spending bill before tomorrow's deadline after they scrapped the bipartisan plan. Majority Leader Steve Scalise says the ultimate goal is to get

bill that addresses our immediate needs, but also sets President Trump up for success when he comes into office. It was President-elect Trump calling that first bill ridiculous and expensive that led to Plan B. House Democrats say if the government shuts down this weekend, it'll be the Republicans' fault. And speaking of President-elect Trump, an appeals court in Georgia has just removed the district attorney in the election interference case, Fannie Willis, but at

It leaves the indictment in place, but the future of the prosecution is uncertain.

There is a rebound on Wall Street from yesterday's massive sell-off. The Dow rising 214 points following an 1,100-point plunge. Today's gains could end the Dow's 10-day losing streak, the longest one in 50 years. The Nasdaq up 136, the S&P 500 adding 34 points. We did this update to the economy this morning. The economy improved at a much stronger than expected pace over the third quarter. The gross domestic product

rose 3.1 percent. The reading's been revised higher from an initial reading of up 2.8. It reflects strong consumer spending in the U.S. exporting more. It's an improvement from the previous quarter's reading of 3 percent. GDP growth has topped 2 percent in eight of the last nine quarters. The GDP reading for the October through December quarter will be released on January 30th.

Jenny Kosola, Fox News. We also just got a new report showing that home sales rose last month to the fastest pace since March, up almost 5%.

One other economic report. First-time unemployment benefits dropped about 9% last week down to 220,000. There was a slight decline in the number of Americans continuing to collect jobless benefits. Get ready for more climate controversy. By 2035, President Biden says the U.S. should slash greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 66% from where they were in 2005, a goal even more ambitious than the Paris Agreement that calls for global emission reductions.

But the target is non-binding and is likely to be abandoned by President-elect Trump, who has criticized climate spending by the Biden administration and vowed to increase U.S. energy production. The president-elect is also expected to pull the U.S. out of the 2015 Paris Agreement, as he did during his first term.
