Tanya J. The hearts of an entire nation lie in tatters. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. Israel's president posted that on social media after Hamas released the bodies of four hostages. And I think he shares what all of us feel. A U.S. ambassador to Israel nominee Mike Huckabee just told Fox. Their bodies come home in coffins that were locked by Hamas.

and they handed keys to the Red Cross, but the keys did not fit the coffins. I mean, it's just another insult to injury. Inside those coffins? 32-year-old mother and wife Shiri Bibas and her two sons, four-year-old Ariel and nine-month-old Kaffir. Those were the two youngest hostages Hamas took in the 2023 terror attack that triggered the war. Fox's Greg Palkaud also reports from Tel Aviv as part of the ceasefire deal.

The remains of Oded Lifshitz was also transferred. He was a retired journalist and an important peace activist aiding Palestinians in Gaza with, for example, their medical needs. In Ukraine, U.S. Special Envoy Keith Kellogg met today with President Volodymyr Zelensky days after U.S.-Russia talks without Ukraine.

Vice President Vance just said President Trump wants a lasting peace deal. When he walks into negotiation, he says everything is on the table. And of course, that makes the heads explode in the American media because they say, why are you talking to Russia? Well, how are you going to end the war unless you're talking to Russia? You've got to talk to everybody involved in the fighting. The vice president also told the CPAC conservative gathering with a big

drop any illegal immigration, the Republican-led Congress must act to be sure. Everything the president has done on the border, we have got to empower him to do it, not just for a month, but for the next four years. In a few hours, Senate Republicans plan to vote to confirm Kash Patel as the new FBI director without any Democrat support. Patel will be the 19th nominee confirmed, 13 with bipartisan support. But some Democrats are enduring confirmation remorse after their votes for Trump

nominee. That's Fox's Chad Pergam at the Capitol. America's listening to Fox News.

We mentioned President Trump and border security as he ramps up illegal immigration raids that lead to arrests and deportations. He has a new executive order that would end federal programs to benefit immigrants here illegally. And another part of his agenda, though, with another order continues to be stalled in court. The Trump administration had asked the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to set aside a nationwide block on his order that would curtail birthright citizenship, but the court rejected that request.

That means a federal judge's ruling to keep the order from going into effect still stands. Judges in Maryland, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire have also blocked it, and appeals are underway in two of those cases. President Trump signed the order on the first day of his new term, ending birthright citizenship for children of undocumented parents or those in the U.S. on temporary visas. The 14th Amendment, in place since 1868, extends citizenship to anyone born on U.S. soil, regardless of their parents' immigration status.

Tanya J. Powers, Fox News. There was a slight increase in unemployment last week. First time jobless claims rose to 219,000. The number of Americans continuing to collect benefits also went up. And here's something else related to the economy. For the first time in three years, Walmart is predicting its earnings will decline this year. It sees consumers' finances relatively stable this year, but says pressure on its mix of

products will continue. Shoppers have been pulling back on more expensive purchases as they budget for higher-priced groceries. The retail giant is predicting sales up 3 to 4 percent this year, while Wall Street analysts forecast were for 4.6 percent growth. Walmart's holiday quarter earnings top forecast, it's attracting more higher-income shoppers, and e-commerce sales were up 20 percent. Ginny Kosolda,

Fox News. Well, that report is costing Walmart on Wall Street. Its stock way down almost 7% as the Dow plunges 592 points. The Nasdaq is falling 198. I'm Dave Anthony. This is Fox News.
