A New Jersey mayor is released after an ICE arrest. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. Newark Mayor Ross Baraka said afterwards he did nothing wrong when he and three congressional Democrats visited a new federal immigration detention center on Friday. The mayor saying that he did nothing wrong
actually felt like he was treated pretty well. He felt like inside of this ICE facility here, this Homeland Security office here where he was taken into custody. The Newark mayor, members of Congress, Robert Menendez Jr., Bobby Watson Coleman and LaMonica McGyver say they just wanted to get into an ICE detention facility. And when they waited and waited, they decided to go in themselves.
They didn't want this facility here in the first place. The mayor has been talking about this for quite some time. Officials demanding to go inside so they can make sure the migrants were okay and were, quote, being fed. Fox's Alexis McAdams, acting U.S. attorney for the District of New Jersey, Alina Haba.
posted that the mayor trespassed and ignored warnings to leave the detention center. Pakistan's military says it launched retaliatory strikes against Indian military sites after three of its air bases were targeted by Indian air-to-surface missiles.
The U.S. State Department says Secretary of State Rubio spoke with Pakistan's army chief Friday and offered U.S. help in starting talks to avoid more fighting. President Trump floated the idea of lowering tariffs on China to 80%.
ahead of the U.S.-China trade talks this weekend in Switzerland. There's little expectation that a full trade resolution is going to come out of this meeting. U.S. officials see it, though, as a step toward economic de-escalation. These talks are taking place in Switzerland, where Treasury Secretary Scott Besson and U.S. Trade Rep Jameson Greer are now. President Trump's saying he's not going to be disappointed if they return from those talks with China without a deal. Well, tariffs on China remain at 145 percent, which is a historic high.

The judge issued the order Friday in a lawsuit filed by unions and cities, saying Supreme Court precedent makes it clear that while the president has the authority to seek changes, he must do so in lawful ways.
Google agrees to pay more than $1 billion to the state of Texas to settle privacy cases. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton suing Google in 2022, alleging the tech company tracked residents' personal location and stored facial recognition and voice print data without their consent, alleging it did so through its services, including Google Assistant and Google Photos. Google agreeing to pay the state nearly $1.4 billion to settle the claims.
Paxton saying in a statement in Texas, big tech is not above the law, adding I fought back and won. A rep for Google says this settles a raft of old claims, many of which have already been resolved elsewhere concerning product policies we have long since changed, adding we are pleased to put them behind us and we will continue to build robust privacy controls into our services.
Kristen Goodwin, Fox News. Florida wildlife officials believe they found the bear responsible for a fatal attack. 89-year-old Robert Markell was attacked and killed early Monday near his home in a rural area east of Naples in southwest Florida near the Cypress Wildlife Management Area.
After that, wildlife officers set several traps and cameras. They killed three black bears. The crops of results reveal a 263-pound male bear contained Markell's partial remains. Testing also showed that same bear's DNA was present on Markell's body, inside his home, and on his dog, who was also killed in the attack.
