Talks with Iran next week. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. President Trump says the U.S. will hold nuclear talks with Tehran as the Iran-Israel ceasefire holds, but he says the talks may not lead to a deal. We may sign an agreement. I don't know. To me, I don't think it's that necessary. I mean, they had a war they fought. Now they're going back to their world. I don't care if I have an agreement or not. The president speaking before leaving the NATO summit.
The official in Iran is questioning, though, whether the U.S. could be trusted after its weekend attack. President Trump again rejecting an early intelligence assessment that those U.S. strikes inflicted only marginal setback for Iran's nuclear program, insisting U.S. spies did not have the full picture. Nor the military on Earth could have done it. And now this incredible exercise of American strength has paved the way for peace,
for the historic ceasefire agreement. CIA Director John Radcliffe said there is a body of credible intelligence showing several key Iranian nuclear facilities were destroyed. Kilmar Abrego-Garcia, who was wrongly deported to his home country of El Salvador, then charged with human smuggling when he was brought back to the U.S.,
will remain in custody for now. Abrego Garcia, for now, will be in the custody of U.S. Marshals until U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes decides if she can arrange a holding facility. The chance does exist that ICE could again take Abrego Garcia into custody. If they do, his lawyers want it so they can still meet with him about the case. Grinnell Scott.

A Santa Monica police officer is hospitalized after being shot by a man linked to a Waymo shooting. Santa Monica Police Chief Ramon Batista says an officer recognized an individual believed to be wanted in connection with a prior incident when the suspect opened fire with a handgun. The suspect fired multiple rounds at the officer and fled the area on foot. The officer was seriously injured but is in stable condition and receiving medical care.
Fellow officers quickly rendered aid and transported him to a local hospital. The suspect arrested thanks to a tip after police shared a photo online describing him as a black man in his 30s. The weapon used in the assault has also been recovered. Chief Batista says officials believe the suspect is homeless and could be the same individual who recently shot and injured two teens riding in a Waymo. Kristen Goodwin, Fox News.

He said the victim's power had been turned off for non-payment for about two weeks. She did have prior medical conditions, so the medical examiner's office is checking into that. Police say the victim's family did not want to be interviewed or share a picture of their loved one who died. 55-year-old Shawna Thomas in St. Ann. Chris Hayes, Fox News. In Florida...
