L.A. braces for more extreme winds. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. Firefighters are preparing for new blazes with strong Santa Ana winds forecast to return Tuesday. President Biden says more help arrived Monday with the help in that week-long fire battle. Over the next few days, we're expecting strong wind gusts that could move, you know, more fires, more fuel for fires.
And I'm continuing to direct the federal government to do everything possible, if everything possibly can, to help California. At least 24 people have died in the fires, with dozens of people missing. That number is expected to rise. More than 90,000 people are under evacuation orders. Prosecutors charged at least nine people with looting during the fires. Authorities are also investigating the cause of the blazes. U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada. With mandatory minimum sentences...

We're waiting on confirmation. The Justice Department has released the report by Jack Smith on the Trump election interference case. Although special counsel David Weiss criticizes President Biden for calling the prosecution of Hunter Biden on gun and tax evasion charges political. Weiss making a strong defense of his office. He says the criminal charges against President Biden's son were the culmination of thorough and partial investigations, not partisan politics. Weiss referring to the statement Biden made when he issued the pardon, saying he believed his son had been treated differently because of his last name.

Russia sets up an emergency task force to deal with a major oil spill. Two tankers stricken by a storm in the Kerch Strait between Russia and the occupied Crimean Peninsula. Russia's government estimates over 150,000 tonnes of contaminated sand and soil have been collected over the past four weeks.

The suit claims Jenny Wilford was sexually touched and endured lewd comments during the ride. The driver, using the Lyft app, was not the vetted person the company had approved as a driver. The lawsuit says the approved driver let other people use his account.
